건식벽체 차음성능 분석 및 평가 (Analysis and evaluation of sound reduction performance of drywall system)

  • The objective of this study is to analyze and evaluate design factors relating to sound reduction performance in dry wall system. The main contents of this study are as follows. 1) Analysis and pre-evaluation of sound reduction performance of drywall system ; The sound reduction performance was pre-evaluated by INSUL simulation and these results of analyzing walls were analyzed by screening DOE(design of experiment) for selecting major factors that dominant influence the sound reduction performance. These main factors relating to sound reduction performance can be used for development of 1st grade sound reduction performance drywall system. 2) Design and evaluation of 1st grade sound reduction performance drywall system; The evaluation test of the sound reduction performance gave vaues higher than 1st grade (Rw+C=64). When campared with existing dry wall system, respectivelly, the new system shows performance higher than 8 dB.

  • A began of this study is to verify Spontaneous Acoustic Field Reproduction System(SAFRS), developed as an embodiment of creating agreeable sound environment, with evaluation on the field application. SAFRS is a system to sense changes of surroundings and produce sounds, which can go well with environment elements sensed by the system in to the space. The sound which can go well with environment elements is sound which judged by individual evaluation to be so, the classification of the preferred sounds according to the mood of the space was suggested in the former study. So, SAFRS was applied into the Square of D University to evaluate effectiveness of the system. The executed evaluations were 1) evaluation on sounds perception, frequency, volume and matchability with the space, 2) image evaluation on the square and sound environment and 3) evaluation on sound environment with existing sounds, fountains sound, sound produced by SAFRS, and both fountains sound and sound produced by SAFRS. Verifying SAPRS of field application was deduced from those evaluations. Theresultsofthestudyarefollowing: Though the system was applied into the space, the volume of the sounds shouldn't be too high. And with visual surroundings, the effectiveness of the system would be increased. At the results of four evaluations, the result of day evaluation is; both fountains sound and sound produced by SAFRS>fountains sound>sound produced by SAFRS>existing sounds, the result of night evaluation is; sound produced by SAFRS>both fountains sound and sound produced by SAFRS>fountains sound>existing sounds and these results pointed out that sounds environment produced by the system was highly evaluated due to less background sounds.

Environment Adaptive Sound Localization for Multi-Channel Surround Sound System

  • Recent development in multi-channel surround is emerging in various formats to provide better stereoscopic and sound effects to consumers in recent broadcasting. The ability sound localize the sound sources in space is most considerable design factor on multi-channel surround system for human earing perception model. However, this paper propose the change of the sound localization according to the spacing of the speakers, which is not covered in the existing research focus on sound system design. Presently the sound system uses the position and number of the speakers to localize the sound. In the multi-channel surround environment, the proposed design uses the sound localization is caused by the directional characteristics of the speaker, the distance between the speakers and the distance between the listener and the speaker according to the directivity is required. The proposed design is simulated using virtual measurement with MATLAB simulation environment and performances are measured.

  • In the study, it is considered sporty car as 1400cc entry cars using sound generator. These cars are required special sound quality, also sporty sound quality. The operational principle of this sound generator system is that on the operation of the engine intake valves caused pulsating is to shake the membrane of the sound generator on the inside of the driver front dash panel through the intake manifold, which will deliver the required sound quality and tone. For the component constructed sound generator, main design parameters are selected and optimized using the daguchi's method. The results are as follows; The C2 sound level must be minimized and C4 level must be maximized. And also overall level keeps linear characteristics.

데크플레이트와 경량성형재가 결합된 슬래브의 차음성능에 대한 실물실험 평가 (A Study on the Sound Insulation for Void-deck Slab Combined with Deck Plate and Polystyrene Void Foam)

  • This study is to explore floor impact sound and sound insulation of reinforced concrete structure with void-deck slab system which combines polystyrene void foam and T-shaped steel deck plate. A void-deck slab system can effectively reduce the amount of concrete used and hence the mass of a reinforced concrete slab. Also void slab system has dynamically favorable for bending. Three-bay 2-story building was constructed as a mock up test specimen using void-deck slab system and floor impact sound was measured to valuate sound insulation performance. Light weight floor impact and heavy weight floor impact were investigated. Light weight floor impact pressure levels were 32dB, 28dB, and 29db at representative locations which are $1^{st}$ level in the floor impact sound insulation performance grading system. The heavy-weight floor impact pressure levels were 44dB, 45dB, and 43dB at representative locations which are $2^{nd}$ level in the floor impact sound insulation performance grading system. Therefore void-deck slab system can be used in public housing apartment building in terms of not only effectively reduced construction materials but also floor impact sound insulation.

  • Currently a multichannel system for virtual 3-D sound rendering is under development. Robust sound image formation and smooth real time interactivity are main design Points. The system utilizes VBAP algorithm as virtual sound image positioning. Overall system settings can be easily configured. We developed software, RIMA. as a driving Program of the system. At this stage, it is possible to position virtual sound images at arbitrary positions in three-dimensional space. The characteristics of the system are discussed. The system has been applied to the KAIST Bicycle Simulator to generate the virtual sound field.

절대음량을 이용한 음량제어 체계의 개념 (Concepts of Sound Control System Using Absolute Sound Level)

  • 본 논문은 음원의 마스터링부터 출력단계까지의 비합리성을 근본적으로 해결하기 위한 절대음량 체계의 개념을 제안하였다. 절대음량 체계는 모든 음원의 입력절대음량을 60 dB(S) 기준으로 평준화한 후, 차등음량태그를 이용하여 제작자가 의도한 음량 밸런스를 구현한다. 그 후 출력절대음량을 입력절대음량과 매칭하여 청자가 의도한 목표 음량을 구현하게 된다. 이 체계가 도입되면 음원 제작자는 불필요한 음량경쟁 없이 음원 자체의 완성도에 집중할 수 있으며, 차등감소 태그입력만으로 자신이 의도한 음량밸런스를 구현할 수 있다. 그리고 청자는 청취 환경과 음향시스템에 관계없이 자신이 청취하고 싶은 절대음량 기준에 맞춰서 모든 음원을 시행착오과정 없이 감상할 수 있다.

  • AV시스템에서 현실적인 사운드 효과를 만들기 위한 연구가 계속 진행되고 있다. 스테레오 AV시스템의 스피커의 간격은 좁고, 공간감 있는 효과를 내기 위한 넓은 음상이 필요하다. 음상의 방향은 두 채널 사이의 음압 레벨 차와 위상 지연에 상관성이 있다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 음원의 주파수와 관계 있는 음상의 방향과 위상 지연의 관계를 해석한다. 또한 순음이 정취자의 전방에 대칭적으로 배치된 두 개의 스피커를 통해 재생될 때, 한목 채널의 신호의 음상과 위상을 기준으로 하여 다른 채널 신호의 음압과 위상을 변화시켜 스피커의 위치보다 넓은 방향에 음상을 정위시키는 모델을 제안하고 모의 실험을 하였다.

정사면체 마이크로폰 어레이 기반 최적 음원추적 시스템 (Optimal Acoustic Sound Localization System Based on a Tetrahedron-Shaped Microphone Array)

  • 본 연구에서는 임의 공간에서 정사면체 형태의 마이크로폰 어레이(microphone array)를 이용하여 음원(sound source)추적 성능을 개선할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 음원추적 시스템은 마이크로폰 어레이의 각 마이크로폰에 도착하는 음원신호의 도착 지연시간(TDOA, Time Delay Of Arrival) 정보를 이용하여 음원의 방향성 정보를 추정한다. 임의 3차원 공간에서 음원추적을 위해서는 최소 3개 이상의 마이크로폰이 필요하다. 3개 마이크로폰으로 구성된 음원추적 시스템의 경우 만약 1개의 마이크로폰이라도 신호 오차가 발생한다면 정확한 음원 방향성 추정이 불가능하다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위하여 1개의 마이크로폰을 추가한 정사면체 형태(tetrahedron shaper)의 마이크로폰 어레이를 구성하고 좌표변환 기법을 이용하여 주변 잡음이나 오류에 강인한 새로운 음원추적 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안 알고리즘의 성능을 입증하기 위하여 3개의 마이크로폰을 이용한 삼각형 기반 음원추적 시스템과 본 연구에서 제안한 정사면체 기반 음원추적 시스템에 대하여 실시간 비교 실험을 수행하였으며, 실험 결과 제안된 정사면체 기반의 시스템이 최대 약 16% 이상의 향상된 검출율을 보였다.

소화기 발사음의 실시간 위치 추정 시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on Real Time Estimation System of Fire Sound Source Localization)

  • In this paper, the sound source localization system in real time which uses the time delay of arrival signal is proposed. This system uses minimum microphones and surveillance camera for estimation of the sound source localization and sound direction. To apply this system to the military field, four models(model1~model4) are derived. Model 1 can be used to evaluate the sound source localization at the long distance. Model2 and model3 can be applied to estimate the sound direction. Model4 is useful for the special purpose and potable device. It is possible for this system to be used for the military guard and surveillance. As a result of experiments, It is shown that this system can estimate the sound source localization and the sound direction using minimum microphones.
