음향강도계측법에 의한 음향투과손실의 측정 및 표면진동 모우드의 예측에 관한 연구 (A study of transmission loss and surface vibration mode by the two microphone acoustic intensity method)

  • The measuring of acoustic intensity has been investigated by many researchers and practicians during the last several decades. But due to the lack of measurement accuracy, they have had no practical use. In recent years, the two microphone acoustic intensity method has been developed by the advancement of FFT analysis technique and the digital data processing equipment. This new method of using two microphones gives informations on the noise source survey and the acoustic power of sound radiation source without the anechoic room. In this paper, theoretical formulae for the two microphone acoustic intensity method and the sound transmission loss are checked. The obtained results for the acoustical enclosure of gas heat pump were compared with the classical field incidence mass law. The surface vibration modes for a panel of enclosure were also estimated.

  • This paper introduces works performed for reducing high frequency noise of a reciprocating compressor. Noise in a high frequency range strongly affects sound quality as well as increases total noise level of the compressor. In order to reduce the noise, two different works were carried out. the first work was to measure the vibration Power transferred through suspension spring and discharge pipe; and the second one was to obtain operational deflection shape from cross-power spectrum measured on shell. Based on the information, Adequate structural modification of the transfer path and shell resulted in noise reduction in a high frequency range.

  • Active mufflers have been mainly applied in the large industrial engine due to considerable expense for implementation, but a necessity of development has been increased by the tightened regulation of exhaust noise and the request of high power. In this study, the active muffler prototype for installing in an automobile is designed and constructed. The active muffler is designed so that the primary noise and the control sound are propagated as a plane wave in the outlet. Therefore, the error microphone could be placed outside the high temperature centers of the tail pipe, and the noise radiating to the outside could be reduced in the whole areas around the outlet. For evaluating the control performance of the prototype, the control experiments of band-pass filtered random signal and the modulation of sinusoidal signal which are generated from the primary noise speaker as practical exhaust sound level are implemented. And to investigate the radiation pattern from the outlet of tail pipe and the noise reduction level of points placed adjacent to the outlet, the sound level of adjacent points of thirty is measured.

  • 본 연구에서는 대상 원심팬 시스템에서 발생하는 유동 현상과 공력 음향 성능을 수치적/실험적으로 분석하고 다양한 수치 기법을 비교하여 평가하고자 하였다. 먼저 원심팬의 성능을 실험적으로 분석하기 위해 반무향실에서 음향 파워를 측정하였으며, 실험 결과를 통해 대상 원심팬 시스템에서 방사되는 소음 성능에 대한 유효 주파수 범위를 파악하고 이에 대한 수치 모사를 실시하였다. 수치적으로 유동 및 음향 파워를 분석하기 위해 Navier-Stokes 방정식과 Ffowcs Williams&Hawkings 방정식을 각각 유동장과 음향장의 지배방정식으로 사용하였으며, 음향장의 구현을 위해 가상의 음향 방사면을 설계하여 사용하였다. 고차 3차원 전산유체역학(Computational Fluid Dynamics, CFD)와 연계된 Hybrid-CAA 기법을 사용하여 모사한 음향 파워 레벨과 소음 실험을 통해 측정한 음향 파워 레벨의 비교를 통해 사용된 수치 기법의 정확도 및 수치적 특성을 평가하였다.

  • 초음파 파워의 정확한 측정은 초음파 의료 장비의 품질 보증과 안전성에 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 초음파 조사가 on/off를 반복하는 동안의 표적에 작용하는 방사 힘과 부력과 같은 다른 원인에서 기인하는 저울 지시 값의 시간에 따른 변화로부터 초음파 파워를 결정하는 간단한 이론을 제시하였다. 아울러 개발된 초음파 파워 측정 시스템에 대해 정밀 기계적 정렬장치, 전기신호 발생부 구성, 제어 및 측정부 구성 및 적절한 절차와 함께 상세히 기술하였다. 본 시스템으로 1 MHz, 5 MHz, 10 MHz, 15 MHz에서 10 mW에서 10 W범위에 걸쳐 측정된 결과를 다른 나라에서 교정된 기준 데이터와 상호 비교한 결과 상대 편차가 $5\%$ 이내로 확인되었다.

다중동조질량감쇠기를 이용한 단순지지 슬래브의 진동 및 소음저감에 관한 연구 (Vibration and Noise Control of the Simply Supported Slab Using the Multi-tuned Mass Damper)

  • In this study, it is outlined that heavy weight floor impact noise induced by the vibration of slab can be reduced using multi tuned mass damper(MTMD) effectively. Substructure synthesis is utilized to develope analytical model of the slab coupled with MTMD and acoustic power is introduced to evaluate the performance of noise control for simplicity. Numerical analysis is carried out to investigate the effect of the properties of MTMD on the vibration and noise control of the simply supported slab. Numerical analysis shows that mass ratio of MTMD is critical on the vibration and noise control of the slab and it is also essential to reduce the vibration in higher modes of slab in the light of its great effect on the radiation of sound.

액티브 머플러를 이용한 자동차 배기계의 능동소음제어 (Active noise control with the active muffler in automotive exhaust system)

  • This study experimentally demonstrates the use of active muffler attached to the automotive exhaust system to reduce exhaust noise. For improving the signal to noise ratio in the process of estimation of secondary path transfer functions, the on-line algorithm that conventional inverse modeling is combined with adaptive line enhancer is used as the control algorithm. Active muffler is designed that the primary noise and the control sound are propagated as a plane wave in the outlet. Therefore, the error microphone could be placed out of the tail pipe center of a high temperature and the radiation noise to the outside could be reduced in the whole area around the outlet. The control experiment for reducing exhaust noise with active muffler is implemented during run-up at no load. From the experimental results presented, compared with the conventional off-line method, the proposed on-line method is capable to acquire a reduction of exhaust noise above 5 dB in overall sound power level.

Evaluation of vibroacoustic responses of laminated composite sandwich structure using higher-order finite-boundary element model

  • In this paper, the vibroacoustic responses of baffled laminated composite sandwich flat panel structure under the influence of harmonic excitation are studied numerically using a novel higher-order coupled finite-boundary element model. A numerical scheme for the vibrating plate has been developed in the frame work of the higher-order mid-plane kinematics and the eigen frequencies are obtained by employing suitable finite element steps. The acoustic responses are then computed by solving the Helmholtz wave equation using boundary element method coupled with the structural finite elements. The proposed scheme has been implemented via an own MATLAB base code to compute the desired responses. The validity of the present model is established from the conformance of the current natural frequencies and the radiated sound power with the available benchmark solutions. The model is further utilized to scrutinize the influence of core-to-face thickness ratio, modular ratio, lamination scheme and the support condition on the sound radiation characteristics of the vibrating sandwich flats panel. It can be concluded that the present scheme is not only accurate but also efficient and simple in providing solutions of the coupled vibroacoustic response of laminated composite sandwich plates.

고가교 철도소음 저감을 위한 대책수립 (Counter Plan for Reduction of Elevated Railway Bridge Noise)

  • 철도소음은 공기역학적 소음, 차륜과 레일의 상호작용에 의한 전동소음과 고가구조음으로 나눌 수 있다. 열차의 속도한계에 의해 재래철도의 주소음원은 전동음이라고 알려져 있으며, 전동음에 대한 많은 연구가 이루어졌다. 또한 전동음을 주소음원으로 하여 철도소음에 대한 예측모델을 제시하고, 철도소음의 전파특징에 대한 연구가 다수 이루어졌다. 또한 근래에는 고가선로에 대한 고가진동음에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 한편, 본 연구에서는 국내 고가철교에 거의 설치되어 있지 않은 방음터널에 대한 효과를 파악하고 앞으로 설치가 예상되는 고가철교 방음터널에 대한 설계 자료를 확보하기 위한 기초연구를 수행하였다.
