조화 집중 하중을 받는 보에서의 Sound Power 해석 (Sound Radiation From Beams Under the Action of Harmonic Point Force)

  • 구조 진동에 의해 발생하는 Relative Sound Power를 계산하는 문제가 최근 에 중요시되고 있다. 이 논문에서는 조화적인 집중하중에 대한 무한 탄성보 에서 방출하는 Relative Sound Power를 연구한다. Sound Power는 수치적으 로 적분되고 몇가지 인자들의 함수로써 적분인자를 표시하였다. Keitie와 Peng[2]는 진동하는 보로부터의 방출하는 Relative Sound Power에 대한 하 중 길이의 효과, 그리고 water 하중을 받는 보에서 방출하는 Acoustic radiation에 대한 Source 운동과 기초 강성의 효과를 연구하였다. 보의 진동 응답에서 light fluid loading과 heavy fluid loading에 의한 양쪽의 반응을 고 려한다. 보에는 기초 강성과 Damping 그리고 장력이 작용한다. water 하중 과 air 하중을 받는 보에서 Damping의 변화에 대한 보로부터 방출하는 relative sound power의 크기를 결정하였다. 일반적으로 인장력보다 압축력 이 작용할 때 relative sound power level이 크다는 것을 알고 있다. 실제로 인장력이나 압축력이 보에 작용할 때 relative sound power에 얼마나 영향을 미치는가를 계산하였다. 그리고 진동계로부터 방출하는 sound fluid loading 과 기초 강성에 기인한 복잡한 효과를 해석하였다. 이 논문의 목적은 강성계 수와 wavenumber 비, 그리고 fluid loading에 대한 sound power의 응답에 대하여 설명하고자 한다.

  • A dash panel component, close to passengers, plays a very important role to protect heat and noise from a power train. Meanwhile, it is also a main path that transfers vibration energy and eventually radiates acoustic noise into the cavity. Therefore, it seems important to provide an optimal design scheme incorporating sound packages such as dash isolation pad and carpet, as well as structures. The present study is the extension of the previous investigation how design variables affect sound radiation, which was carried out using the simple plate and framed system. The system taken into account in this paper is a dash panel component of a sedan, which includes A pillar, front side member, dash panel and the corresponding sound packages. Design variables such as panel thickness and sound package layers are investigated how they are related for the better radiation performance (i.e. structure-borne) and sound transmission loss (i.e. air borne).

악기 향판재의 최적공진비에 미치는 접착제의 영향 (Effect of Adhesives on the Best Acoustic Radiation Ratio of Sound board for Musical Instrument)

  • This study was carried out to analyze the ultrasonic properties of sound board which was glued with various adhesives and to evaluate which adhesive is the best for the acoustic radiation of the musical instrument. The results are as follows: 1. Animal glue is the best adhesive for the sound board with respect to the acoustic radiation ratio of the musical instruments. Epoxy resin and polyvinyl acetate resin are the next group, urea formaldehyde resin and Hot melt are the third group, polychloroprene(CR) resin is the lowest. 2. Epoxy resin, animal glue and Titebond(PVA) give the highest shear strength and the highest wood failure relatively Hot melt and polychloroprene(CR) resin do not meet the standard because of low wood failure.

압전재료를 이용한 복합재료 평판 구조물의 음향파워 억제 (Suppression of Sound Radiation from Composite Plate Structures Using Piezoelectric Materials)

  • The goal of current research is to suppress the acoustic noise radiated from vibration of composite plate structure. The induced noise can be reduced through the control of the corresponding structural vibration modes by using the piezoelectric materials as actuator. The acoustic fields are to be analyzed through the boundary element method (BEM) based on the Rayleigh intergral equation and structural system through the finite element method (FEM). The suppression of rediated sound is studied by adaping the piezoelectric material as the distributed actuator. Numerical results are presented on the sound radiation from composite plate of arbitrary boundary conditions, the noise reduction adapting the piezoelectric materials as distributed actuator. The results show the effectiveness and possibility of piezoelectric actuator in the control of sound radiation from composite structure.

원통형 음향 홀로그래피를 이용하여 구성한 유도전동기의 방사 음장 (Constructed Sound Field of an Induction Motor Using Cylindrical Acoustic Holography)

  • Induction motors are used in many areas to transform electrical energy to mechanical energy. In the design of an induction motor, not only energy efficiency but also noise becomes an important factor. To effectively address the noise problem, it will be convenient if one can see where and how noise is generated and propagated. In this study sound radiation by an induction motor is visualized using cylindrical acoustic holography. To minimize the bias error by window effect Minimum Error Window(MEW) is used. Its performance is verified by numerical simulations. Based on these theoretical understanding, sound pressure measurement with an induction motor are performed. Not only sound radiation are visualized but sound pressure level and sound power level are also estimated. Results show that the main source is located at nearly bottom part of the motor and the total sound pressure level is 49dB, which satisfies the guideline value suggested by the KS C 4202.

Therefore, it is important to provide optimal design schemes incorporating sound packages such as a dash isolation pad and a floor carpet, as well as structures. The present study is the extension of the previous investigation how design variables affect sound radiation, which was carried out using the simple plate and framed system. A novel FE-SEA hybrid simulation model is used for this study. The system taken into account is a dash panel component of a sedan vehicle, which includes front pillars, front side members, a dash panel and corresponding sound packages. Design variables such as panel thicknesses and sound packages are investigated how they are related to two main NVH indexes, sound radiation power(i.e. structure-borne) and sound transmission loss(i.e. air borne). In the viewpoint of obtaining better NVH performance, it is shown that these two indexes do not always result in same tendencies of improvement, which suggests that they should be dealt with independently and are also dependent on frequency regions.

  • The noise reduction performance of a passive facility is dependent on the its length or volume. In other words, this means that the larger the size of passive facility is, the better the noise reduction performance is. The sound directivity control has been proposed as an alternative for the noise reduction without a passive facility. The purpose of this study is to investigate the correlation between the flange attached to inclined exit of the tube and sound directivity when the sound radiates from the tube to the outside. As a result, the sound radiated from flanged tube had weak sound directivity in the wide angle. Also as the flange was bigger, the sound pressure level was lower in the behind the flange.

  • 좁은 슬롯을 포함한 디스크 브레이크 로터의 소음 방사특성을 전산해석과 이론적 계산을 합성한 방법으로 검토하였다. 첫 단계로 로터와 기본 치수가 동일하고 동일한 슬롯을 보유한 후판 환형 디스크의 소음방사 특성을 유한요소해석을 구한 모달 진동 데이터를 바탕으로 기존의 해법을 이용하여 계산하고 수치해석결과로 검증하였다. 다음으로 이 결과를 유한요소해석으로 구한 샘플 로터의 고유진동 특성에 적용, 고유진동으로 인한 소음방사를 계산한 다음 그 결과를 경계요소법을 이용하여 검증하였다. 마지막으로 이 결과를 바탕으로 로터에 고정된 조화가진 및 로터 주위를 회전하는 조화력에 의해 방사되는 소음 및 진동 특성을 검토하였다.

  • 이 논문은 후판 환형 디스크의 기하학적인 형상이 래디얼 방향 진동에 의해 방사되는 소음에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 디스크의 내경을 고정한 상태에서 두께와 외경을 주어진 범위내에서 변경하면서 이론적인 해를 이용하여 래디얼 모드의 고유진동수와 진동모드의 변화를 검토하였다. 이 결과를 이용하여, 해당 형상을 가진 디스크의 래디얼 방향 고유진동에 의해 발생되는 원격음장, 음향파워 및 방사효율을 계산하였다. 이 결과로부터 고유진동에 의한 음향파워와 방사효율을 최소화할 수 있는 기하학적인 형상을 선택하였다. 마지막으로, 최적화된 디스크의 임의 위치에 단위 하모닉 가진을 가했을 경우에 발생되는 음향파워 및 방사효율 스펙트럼을 구하였으며, 전산해석을 통해 그 정확성을 검증하였다. 이 논문에 소개된 방법을 적용하면 주어진 제한 조건을 만족하면서 목표 주파수 범위내에서 래디얼 진동에 의해 발생되는 소음을 최소화할 수 있는 기하학적인 형상을 간편하고 논리적으로 구할 수 있다.

수음실 내 구조체의 진동량 계측을 통한 바닥충격음레벨 예측 (Prediction of Floor Impact Sound by Measuring the Vibration Acceleration Level on the Interior Structures of Receiving Room in Apartment Buildings)

  • In an apartment building, the impact sound from upstairs has been regarded as a main source of noise causing discontentment among occupants. To set the optimum design for sound insulation. it is nesessary to suggest the useful tools or technique that predict the floor impact sound. The purpose of this study is to investigate the applicability of the theory of sound radiation. We measured the vibration acceleration levels on the interior structures and predicted the sound pressure level of the room by using them. The result show that the predicted value, in general, were in good agreement with the measured values within 5∼10% in error rate.
