외부음장해석에 의한 고속전철 벽면에서의 투과손실 목표치 계산 (Calculation of transmission loss design values of a high speed train wall by acoustic analysis of exterior sound field)

  • Design target values of transmission loss in a high-speed train wall are suggested by calculating the difference between interior and exterior noise levels of it. Exterior noise level distribution on the boundary of train wall is calculated by Sysnoise, with sound source input prepared by experiments. Two kinds of exterior sound sources are considered, the rolling noise of train wheels on the rail and the aerodynamic noise from the pantograph. Interior noise level is provided by high-speed design target. Transmission loss characteristics according to the frequency band are examined.

  • In this paper, we propose a virtual sound localization algorithm which improves the sound localization accuracy and sound color preservation for two channel and multi-channel surround speaker layouts. In conventional CPP laws, the sound direction is different from the panning angle and the sound color is different from real sound source especially when the speakers are spread out widely. To overcome this drawback, we design a virtual sound localization algorithm using directional psychoacoustic criteria (DPC) and sound color compensator (SCC). The analysis results show that in the case of the proposed system, the sound direction is the same as the panning angle in the audible frequency range and the sound color is less deviated from a real sound source than the conventional CPP law. In addition, its performance is verified by means of subjective tests using a real sound source.

  • The purpose of this study is that developing the index which evaluate sound quality of door latch and improving its sound quality through that results. For that, various operating sound of door latch was used for jury test. Loudness and sharpness related metrics are dominant in sound quality index we developed. This research investigate the main transfer path of its operating sound through sound field visualization and get conclusion that could reduce the impact sound of door latch. Therefore, we could verify sound quality improvement of modified product by using sound quality index.

한국어 음운 변동 처리 규칙의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Vocal Sound Variation Rules for Korean Language)

  • 한국어는 음운 변동 현상이 매우 발달되어 있다는 특징을 갖고 있다. 따라서, 음성 인식율의 제고와 음성 합성음의 자연스러움을 향상시키기 위해서는 음운 변동 현상을 비롯한 한국어의 모든 특징에 대한 체계적인 연구가 있어야 한다. 본 논문은 한국어의 제 특징 중에서 음운 변동 현상을 효율적으로 처리할 수 있는 규칙을 설계하고 구현함으로써, 한국어 음성 인식과 합성에 효율적으로 이용될 수 있음을 보인다. 음운 변동 규칙의 설계를 위하여 사용된 규정은 한글 맞춤법 통일안의 표준 발음법(7장 30항)이며, 일차적으로 각 규정별로 설계된 규칙을 최종적으로 27개 그룹으로 정리된 종성별 규칙을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 제안된 음운 변동 처리 시스템은 한번의 규칙 적용으로 음운 변도 dgus상이 신속히 처리되는 잇점이 있으며, 단어 및 용언의 어간에 접속되는 정보에 대한 처리 내용까지도 제안된 규칙내에 수용하였기 때문에 문장 단위의 음성 인식과 합성 시스템의 연구에 도움을 줄 수 있다.

  • The objective of this study is to evaluate the airborne sound insulation performance between housing units and community facilities during the construction phase. Community facilities adjacent to housing units can lead to noise problems, hence it is necessary to minimize noise transmission during the design phase. However, flanking noise transmitted through gaps of structures, windows, pipes, and other openings may result in substandard sound insulation performance falling below the design standards. Therefore, It is crucial to measure airborne sound insulation in the field during the construction phase. The measurement was conducted using the survey method for the field measurement of the airborne sound insulation in accordance with KS F ISO 10052:2021. Although the noise standards caused by community facilities in apartment complexes are not specified in current laws and regulations, desired noise level was set based on international guidelines for indoor noise. First, the level of noise generated in community facilities was estimated, and then the sound insulation performance was evaluated to determine whether the desired noise level was achieved.

Sound Absorption Property of Traditional Korean Natural Wallpaper (Hanji)

  • The sound absorption property, hand feel, air permeability and pore size of 25 kinds of traditional Korean natural wallpapers (Hanji) were measured and analyzed in this study. The sound absorption rate of Hanji became larger with increasing of frequency beginning from 3.2 kHz, reached 2 times in frequency range of nearby 4 kHz. The sound absorption rate of Hanji was increased as the permeability was lowered and the pore size was decreased. The sound absorption property of Hanji wallpaper could be improved by manufacturing process such as super calendering process.

  • The results of an experiment on the sound absorption of the porous concrete and its influence on the compressive strength are reported in this paper. Two different sizes of coarse aggregate of 5~13, 13~20mm, and the design void ratio of 20, 25 and 30 percent for a given size of aggregate were used. In the compressive strength, an aggregate of the size of 5~13mm is much higher strength than that of the 13~20mm, In the sound absorption experiment, the size of aggregate of 5~l0mm is much higher sound absorption than that of the 13~20mm. The sound absorption ratio was increased as the design void ratio. As a result, Porous concrete sufficiently have the performance of sound absorption.

  • For the satisfaction of the high engine performance and the low radiated sound pressure simultaneously, the duct length in the vehicle intake/exhaust system should be tuned carefully in the design and development stage of a vehicle. This study was concerned about the effects of intake duct length in clean and dirty sides on the radiated sound emitted from an inlet. An index derived from the existing prediction model of radiated sound pressure was employed to determine which duct was more influential to the radiated sound. Comparing the experimental and predicted results, we found that the change of dirty-side duct length caused a larger change than that in the clean side in the radiated sound level from a tested intake system.
