Control Level Process Modeling Methodology Based on PLC (PLC 기반 제어정보 모델링 방법론)

  • Because a product in the car industry has a short life cycle in recent years, the process planning and the manufacturing lines have to be changed frequently. Most of time, repositioning an existing facility and modifying used control information are faster than making completely new process planning. However, control information and control code such as PLC code are difficult to understand. Hence, industries prefer writing a new control code instead of using the existing complex one. It shows the lack of information reusability in the existing process planning. As a result, to reduce this redundancy and lack of reusability, we propose a SOS-Net modeling method. SOS-Net is a standard methodology used to describe control information. It is based on the Device Structure which consists of sensor information derived from device hardware information. Thus, SOS-Net can describe a real control state for automated manufacturing systems. The SOS-Net model is easy to understand and can be converted into PLC Code easily. It also enables to modify control information, thus increases the reusability of the new process planning. Proposed model in this paper plays an intermediary role between the process planning and PLC code generation. It can reduce the process planning and implementation time as well as cost.

Correlations Among Speed of Sound, Broadband Ultrasonic Attenuation, Broadband Ultrasonic Reflection, and Bone Density in Bovine Cancellous Bone

  • Correlations between acoustic properties and bone density have been investigated in bovine cancellous bone. Speed of sound (SOS), broadband ultrasonic attenuation (BUA), and broadband ultrasonic reflection (BUR) were measured in 10 defatted bovine cancellous bone specimens in vitro. SOS showed a significant correlation with the apparent density of the bone. A comparable correlation was observed between BUA and the apparent density. BUR was rather highly correlated with the apparent density. It was shown that BUR had a weak correlation with BUA and a significant correlation with SOS. This indicates that the parameter BUR can provide important information that may not be contained in BUA and SOS and, therefore, can be useful as an alternative diagnostic parameter of osteoporosis. As expected, a linear combination of all three ultrasonic parameters in a multiple regression model resulted in a significant improvement in predicting the apparent bone density.

Antitumor Effects of Mice Fed with Cell Lysate of Lactobacillus plantarum Isolated form Kimchi (경구투여된 김치 유산균 파쇄액이 쥐의 항암효과에 미치는 영향)

  • The antitumor effects of mice fed with cell lysate of Lactobacillus plantarum were studied. The abdominal cancer induced by Sarcoma-180 was markedly inhibited and the expected life span was extended by 60% for the Balb/c mice fed with L. plantarum cell lysate for two weeks. A similar result was obtained for the rat inoculated with Spontaneous Osteosarcoma(SOS). The primary tumor volume of SOS was reduced by 70% for the rats fed with L. plantarum cell lysate (100mg/kg/day) for one week before the inoculation of SOS, while only 42% for the rats fed with the same amount of cell lysate for one week after the inoculation of tumor cell line, SOS. As lung was the metastasis site of SOS, the weight of lung was measured to determine the degree of metastasis inhibition by the L. plantarum cell lysate feeding. The rats fed with cell lysate for one week showed a remarkable inhibition of lung metastasis by 63%(before) and 46%(after), respectively. These results indicate that the feeding of L. plantarum cell lysate to mouse or rat can induce a strong stimulation of mucosal or systemic immune system and these effects results in an efficient antitumor activity.

  • E. coli에서 UV 및 다른 많은 화학 돌연변이원에 의해서 유발되는 돌연변이는 chromosome의 umuDC operon이 필요하며, 이 유전자는 DNA 손상을 복구하고 UV나 화학물질에 대한 저항성을 증가시카는 DNA repair 기능을 활성화 시킨다. umuDC operon은 chromosome에 산재해 있고 16개의 다른 유전자로 구성된 E. coli SOS regulation의 한 유전자인데, umu 유전자는 한 operon에 의해 조절되는 umuD와 umuC로 구성되어 있다. 본고에서는 SOS repair에 관여하는 유전자들 중에서 umuDC 유전자를 중심으로 분자생물학적인 연구과정 및 연구결과를 서술하였다.

Detection of Sulfa-Drugs and Antibiotics Residues in Raw Milk (원유중의 잔류항생물질 및 썰파제 조사)

  • Antibiotic residues of raw milks collected in Anyang area were tested by TTC-reduction test, EEC-4plate method and TLC(SOS-kit ) method to improve and monitor the quality of milk. Antibiotic substances were not detected from 100 raw milk samples, but sulfamethazine was detected from only one sample(1.3PPM) by SOS test. Unclassified anti-microbic substances were detected from 22 samples by EEC-4 plate method. EEC-4 plate test was useful to categorize the species of antibacterial substances and SOS test was useful to detect the sulfamethazine field screening test.

  • Recently USN has been widely used and a lot of research issues have been focused on network configuration. The SOS system is one of the USN applications. The SOS system inherently uses broadcasting due to its emergency. However, a naive broadcasting may cause a significant problem called broadcasting storm. This paper introduces a new trust concept into USN and proposes a new broadcasting algorithm solving the broadcast storm problem.

  • The ozone-induced reactivation factor for ozonated or UV-irradiated T3 phage was determined in defferent bacterial strains of Escherichia coli B resistant of sensitive to ozone. Our results suggest that ozone is a weak, if any at all, inducer of the Weigle reactivation, one of the SOS functions. This is in agreement with other studies which have suggested that thes agent is probably a weak inducer of the SOS functions.

  • 본 논문에서 제안안하고 있는 긴급 SOS 시스템은 응급상황에 처한 사람의 위치를 빠르고 정확하게 추적하여 구조하는 위치기반 서비스이다. 제안된 시스템에서 일반상황에서는 근거리, 저전력 통신방식인 Zigbee Network를 사용하지만 응급상황 발생시 802.15.4의 Network를 이용하여 주변 핸드폰에 응급신호를 전송한다. 또한 전송된 응급 신호를 응급신호 추적기에서 수신하여 능동형 위치추적 알고리듬을 기반으로 위치를 추적한다. 본 논문은 제안된 긴급 SOS 시스템에서 배터리 소모를 줄이기 위한 프로토콜, 일반상황과 응급상황에 적합한 네트워크 구조를 제안하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 귀가길 여성 및 치매노인 보호와 미아장비를 위한 정책을 제안한다. 이 정책은 GPS기능을 가진 작은 칩을 사용자가 원하는 어느 물체에든 부착하여 사용자가 원하는 시간대에 작동하며, 자신의 위치를 집이나 핸드폰에서 확인이 가능하고 유사시 정보를 보내어 가까운 공공기관(경찰서 및 소방서)에서 집으로 귀가하는 그 시간까지 체크가 가능한 시스템이다. SOS브로치는 늘어나는 아동 범죄와 귀가길 여성을 대상으로 하는 범죄 예방 및 치매노인을 대상으로 한 실종 사건 등 각종 사건 사고발생시 빠른 대처와 예방을 위하여 고안되었다.
