SDP (Semidefinite Programming), as a sort of “cone-LP”, optimizes a linear function over the intersection of an affine space and a cone that has the origin as its apex. SDP, however, has been developed in the process of searching for better solution methods for NP-hard combinatorial optimization problems. We surveyed the basic theories necessary to understand SDP researches. First, We examined SDP duality, comparing it to LP duality, which is essential for the interior point method, Second, we showed that SDP can be optimized from an interior solution in polynomial time with a desired error limit. finally, we summarized several research papers that showed SDP can improve solution methods for some combinatorial optimization problems, and explained why SDP has become one of the most important research topics in optimization. We tried to integrate SDP theories. relatively diverse and complicated. to survey research papers with our own perspective, and thus to help researcher to pursue their SDP researches in depth.

This study intends to suggest the considerations in the planning of production space of rice farming houses, based on their needs on the space and machinery for rice production. The 30 rice farming houses, in a village in Chungbuk province, responded for this study. Larger stalls and new built storehouses for grain or machinery showed changes in attached buildings after 1970s. Despite of the broad use of machinery in rice terming, however, only 1 or 2 houses in a village own and run it, and the planning of storehouse for machinery has to be done respectively. The sort and location of attached houses depend on the scale of rice farming. And because the production activities in the riceplanting or harvesting period collide with household ones, the considerations on the planning of efficient activity-oriented production space are offered in this study.

We study the structure of rings whose principal right ideals contain a sort of two-sided ideals, introducing right ${\pi}$-duo as a generalization of (weakly) right duo rings. Abelian ${\pi}$-regular rings are ${\pi}$-duo, which is compared with the fact that Abelian regular rings are duo. For a right ${\pi}$-duo ring R, it is shown that every prime ideal of R is maximal if and only if R is a (strongly) ${\pi}$-regular ring with $J(R)=N_*(R)$. This result may be helpful to develop several well-known results related to pm rings (i.e., rings whose prime ideals are maximal). We also extend the right ${\pi}$-duo property to several kinds of ring which have roles in ring theory.

Antoine showed that the properties of Armendariz and NI are independent of each other. The study of Armendariz and NI rings has been doing important roles in the research of zero-divisors in noncommutative ring theory. In this article we concern a new class of rings which generalizes both Armendariz and NI rings. The structure of such sort of ring is investigated in relation with near concepts and ordinary ring extensions. Necessary examples are examined in the procedure.

Fuel Cell (FC) has slow response characteristic for load variation. During a load step, the inverter cannot pull more power from the fuel cell than is currently available so supplemental power must be provide by some sort of energy storage elements. In this paper, hi-directional do-dc converter for FC generation system is proposed to improve load response characteristic. The hi-directional converter interfaces the low voltage battery to the inverter dc link of FC generation system. The converter is based on a active full bridge in the primary side and on a half bridge in the secondary of a high frequency isolation transformer. The complete operating principles and simulation results in presented.

In this paper, an adaptive DPCM scheme is presented for encoding monochrome images with easy hardware implementation at a transmission rate of exactly 1 bit/pel. The system is mainly composed of a compensated mean predictor and an adaptive two-level quantizer with backward estimation. In this system, the predictor is a sort of two-dimensional ARMA predictor in which a moving-average part is added to the conventional mean predictor. The quantizer adapts to the local statistics of its input without overhead information. To reduce annoying granular noise in the reconstructed image, Lee filter is used after reconstruction in the receiver.

Recently, network systems are widely used in several areas, and some considerable attentions have been directed to the Networked Control System(NCS). In NCS, network-induced delays are inevitable, and they sometimes degrade the performance of networked control systems to be a source of potential instability. In this paper, We proposes a compensation method for networked control system subject to network-induced delays by using a simple method, which is based on a sort of predictive strategy. To evaluate its feasibility and effectiveness, a real-time NCS for a rotary inverted pendulum is implemented via an Ethernet. Based on the experimental results. we show that the proposed simple method can be a practical and feasible solution to NCS design.

The execution with respect to tunnel structure has been carried out more important than maintenance until present time. There is a lot of interests on the maintenance of institution that is used by the nation, because of the recent miserable accidents. Consequently there need an organizational and efficient system. This paper has presented the sort, source and part of damage of tunnel structures etc. and then performed to analyze about the special quality of tunnel structure through input detailed safety assessment report data as well as fulfilment statical analysis. In conclusion, the paper's intention is presenting the maintenance system base on those.

This study aim to organize knowledge of the Oriental Medicine using the 'Wisdom of Crowds', and also results could be learned effectively. The progress of the research aims to understand the classic documents easily using the existing systems resources that is related to the information Oriental Medicine. As a result, the system that could understand how to deal with the existing definition of terms individually easily via cross reference, and also sort out and arrange without damaging the order of documents related to the Oriental Medicine was built up. In return, the system that could be handled by many participants could create and edit the knowledge of the Oriental Medicine together.

In this papers, we derive a simple kinematic and dynamic formulation of an unmanned electric bicycle. We also check the controllability of the stabilization problem of bicycle. We propose a new control algorithm for the self stabilization of unmanned bicycle with bounded wheel speed and steering angle by using nonlinear control based on the sliding patch and stuck phenomena which was introduced by W. Ham. We also propose a sort of optimal control strategy for steering angle and driving wheel speed that make the length of bicycle\`s path be the shortest. From the computer simulation results, we prove the validity of the proposed control algorithm.
