A series of Ca1-xSrxS:Eu (x = 0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0) phosphors were synthesized by solid-state reactions. The Ca1-xSrxS:Eu phosphors have a strong absorption at 455 nm, which corresponds to the emission wavelength of a blue LED. The emission peak of Ca1-xSrxS:Eu is blue shifted from 655 to 618 nm with increasing Sr content. The characteristics of Ca1-xSrxS:Eu phosphors make them suitable for use as wavelengthtunable red-emitting phosphors for three-band white LEDs pumped by a blue LED. In support of this, we fabricated a three-band white LED by coating SrGa2S4:Eu and Ca0.6Sr0.4S:Eu phosphors onto a blue LED chip, and characterized its optical properties.

중앙 단면도 등의 선박의 초기 구조설계는 여러 가지 이유로 2차원으로 설계되어 다른 설계부서에 도면으로 전달되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기능이 서로 다른 여러 가지 컴퓨터 시스템사이의 데이터 교환을 위한 예제로, AutoCAD로 작성된 2차원의 초기 구조 설계 데이터를 구조해석(FEM) 시스템이나 상세설계 시스템(AutoDef)등의 다른 시스템에서 사용할 수 있는 데이터를 생성해 보았다. 이를 위해 STEP 제품모델의 방법에 따라 데이터가 정의 되었으며 2D 형상이나 3D 와이어프레임, 솔리드 모델등 다양한 형상을 다룰 수 있는 복합다양체 모델링 형상 도구인 ACIS가 사용되었다.

In terms of expression, beauty illustration has become more diverse and innovative. Because of continued unique creative activities, more novelty has been pursued. In this study, beauty illustration in new artistic and decorative images was used to investigate the basic concepts of art activities, illustration and beauty illustration and make up for beauty illustration which adheres to traditional and classical expressions. In this study, the following results were obtained: First, in terms of expression of beauty illustration, the work with art expressions are still poor compared to other fields such as fashion illustration. Therefore, it is necessary to attempt beauty illustration of a new image which expresses artistic emotions. Second, by using an artistic technique called 'paper sculpture', a semi-solid shape has been completed, and a decorative beauty illustration was created. People get new inspiration through beautiful and innocent art pieces, which in turn motivate to create new expression. New art activities which take a human body as an art support beauty activities through picture and more sensitive inspiration. It was attempted to express other emotion and beauty by observing a single piece of work. A new possibility in beauty illustration which is differentiated from other art activities is proposed and its domain is developed.

This paper examines the validity of the newly developed IT consulting SERVQUAL measurement tool. In an attempt to measure Ire IS customers' expectations and perceived quality of the services they received, the researchers developed a diagnostic tool of SERVQUAL based on the solid theoretical background, which can specifically be applied to the IT consulting service sector. This on-going research so far, has been applied to six (6) different organizations that have received IT consulting services over the past years. From the preliminary data collected, the correlation and the factor analyses were conducted to understand the underlying concept and refinement of the measurement tool. Although the correlation analysis showed a little tendency of collinearity among some of the variables, all showed sound relationship of the proposed hypotheses. The exploratory factor analytic approach was chosen because it does not set any priori constraints on the estimation of components or the number of components to be extracted. The number of different factor solutions was extracted and tested to see which solution represents better grouping of the variables. The Crombach's Alpha was computed on different combinations of the factor solutions to ensure validity. The results show 8-dimensional IT consulting SERVQUAL measures which they are, assurance, knowledge & skill, customer relationship, support, empathy, process management, expertise, and education, seem more appropriate than the originally proposed 6 dimensions. The study approach was non-experimental cross-sectional research design. The longitudinal design of follow-up studies to periodically revise and refine current measure is strongly recommended for fine tuning of the tool.

곡면간의 교차계산은 부울연산(Boolean operations)과 조각된 곡면들을 지원하기위한 기하 모델링과 솔리드에서 사용되는 기본적인 기하학 연산이다. 본 논문에서는 두 정규화된 곡면의 교차곡선을 따라 추적하기 위한 새로운 알고리즘을 제안한다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 계산상의 간소화와 2차 연속성을 나타낸다. 따라서, 교차 곡선의 한 점이 주어지면 이 점을 초기점으로 하여 교차 곡선의 전체 곡선을 추적한다. 그리고 각각의 교선들의 초기점들은 쿼드트리에서 DFS(Depth First Search) 기법으로 검색되고 교선은 연속적인 형태로 자연스럽게 표현된다.

Recently, as the technology for the development of high voltage power apparatus using SF6 gas has made remarkable progress, it became possible to develop more compact power apparatus adopting single body substation system. In these gas insulated power apparatus, it is impossible to achieve perfect and safe insulation using only SF6 gas, because some solid insulation parts should be installed to support current-carrying conductor parts for electrical and mechanical safety. When spacers were installed in SF6 gas insulation system, they were exposed to severe electrical intensification which could reduce system insulation performance and restrict the rated operating voltage So, it is necessary to clarify the dielectric characteristics of spacers by analytically and experimentally, in order to design and develop more compact and optimum gas insulated systems. In this paper, the field distribution of three-phase spacers were investigated using three dimensional electrostatic field analysis tool adopting BEM method. And the obtained results were compared to the conventional two dimensional computations. According to these three dimensional calculations, it was possible to find out weak points in the spacer more clearly and these results could be applied to design more compact and optimum three phase spacer developments.

The sludge settleability is a key factor for operating activated sludge process as well as BNR (biological nutrient removal) process, because the poor sludge settling causes an increase of suspended solid in the effluent. In order to improving the sludge settleability, a settling agent such as iron dust can be applied. In this study, the effect of sludge settleability on the performance of DNR (Daewoo nutrient removal) process was investigated with GPS-X, which is the popular wastewater treatment process model program, and the result of modeling was verified with operating lab-scale DNR process. As a result, if the sludge blanket keeps stable in the secondary settling tank, the effluent quality is similar in spite of different SVI values. And in case of the good sludge settleability, short HRT or long SRT increased the biomass concentration in the bioreactor, and improved the pollutant removal efficiency. In spite of daily influent changing, the good sludge settleability also guaranteed the stable effluent quality. And the results of the lab-scale DNR process experiment could support the simulated results.

In the secondary settling tanks, three different types of settling phenomena occurs; i.e., zone settling for sludge thickening in the bottom part of settling tank, and discrete and flocculent settling for clarification in the upper part. In this paper, morphological parameters of the floc in sludge blanket layers along the length of a long rectangular tank were investigated. The plant used for this study had a serious bulking problem caused by Microthrix parvicella. Floc size decreased as the surface area of settling tank increases, which indicates that in the secondary settling tank where zone settling believed to be predominant, free or flocculent type of settling contributes to floc size distributions. Large floc particles deposit in the front zone of settling tank, but small and loose flocs mostly in the zone near its outlet. On the other hand, filament length contained in one gram of sludge blanket solid increases along the flow direction. Large flocs with less filaments settle faster, but small flocs having more filaments result in poor settling. These results support function of microorganism selection occurring in secondary settling tank. In addition, designing a long rectangluar settling tank with double hoppers might be one of the ways of bulking control, but this idea has to be verified with a further study.

팔레높시스 대량생산시 PLB 증식에 미치는 배지와 배양환경에 대해 조사하였다. PLB 증식량은 MS배지에서 높았지만, 증식된 PLB상태는 NDM배지가 더욱 양호하였다 천연첨가 물인 CW 10% 또는 사과와 감자의 사용은 PLB 증식효율을 향상시키는 데 필수적이었다. 배지내 지지물에 따른 PLB 증신률은 gelrite가 첨가된 고체배지가 흰색과 분홍색계통 모두 액체탈지면 배지보다 증식이 양호하였다. PLB 증식시 적정 sucrose 농도는 10g/L이며 농도가 높아질수록 PLB가 유식물체로 재분화되었고 저농도 일수록 증식과 유식물체의 재분화가 모두 억제되었다. PLB증식을 위한 적정 PPF와 온도는 각각 14.3 $\mu$mol.s$^{-1}$m$^{-2}$ , $25^{\circ}C$이었다.

Technological advance in information technology has sparked the necessity of small form factor (SFF) optical disk for mobile devices. Small form factor optical disk is highly anticipated to be a next generation storage device because it can be used for a cost-effective way compared with solid state memory. For the application to the 5 mm height small-form-factor optical disk drive, we have presented an optical flying head and swing arm actuator. In this study, we propose a small 1-axis actuator for compensating ficus error and SA due to the variation of cover-layer thickness in the cover-layered small optical disk. The main design issues of the 1-axis actuator are the realization of compact structure and the new support structure of the actuator: Finally, the compensating principle and performance of the 1-axis actuator will be explained.
