A rapid, sensitive and specific method was developed and validated using electrospray ionization (ESI) tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) for determination of misoprostol acid in human plasma. Misoprostol $acid-d_5$ was used as in internal standard (IS). The analyte and IS were extracted by simple one step solid phase extraction (SPE). Linearity in plasma was obtained over the concentration range 10~3000 pg/mL and lower limit of quantification (LLOQ) was identifiable and reproducible at 10 pg/mL. The intra- and inter-day precision values were below 9% and the accuracy was ranged from 93.81% to 102.02% at all four quality control samples. The method was has been successfully applied for routine assay to support pharmacokinetic study of misoprostol acid in human plasma after an oral administration of 0.4 mg misoprostol.

A series of Ca1-xSrxS:Eu (x = 0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0) phosphors were synthesized by solid-state reactions. The Ca1-xSrxS:Eu phosphors have a strong absorption at 455 nm, which corresponds to the emission wavelength of a blue LED. The emission peak of Ca1-xSrxS:Eu is blue shifted from 655 to 618 nm with increasing Sr content. The characteristics of Ca1-xSrxS:Eu phosphors make them suitable for use as wavelengthtunable red-emitting phosphors for three-band white LEDs pumped by a blue LED. In support of this, we fabricated a three-band white LED by coating SrGa2S4:Eu and Ca0.6Sr0.4S:Eu phosphors onto a blue LED chip, and characterized its optical properties.

Hull design data is currently prepared by a 2D CAD system and re-input to 3D CAD systems specialized for detail design or to a structural analysis system. In this paper, sharing design data among different CAD systems has been studied. Based on STEP methodology, a neutral model is generated from 2D AutoCAD drawings. To handle a geometric data of this model, the non-manifold model of ACIS is used because it can support various CAD data representation such as 2D graphic entities, 3D wireframe, 3D surface model, and solid B-Rep/CSG model. It is observed that a mon-manifold model can easily be transformed to a 3-D wireframe model for the hull detail design system AutoDef or a FE model for the structural analysis system Nastran.

In terms of expression, beauty illustration has become more diverse and innovative. Because of continued unique creative activities, more novelty has been pursued. In this study, beauty illustration in new artistic and decorative images was used to investigate the basic concepts of art activities, illustration and beauty illustration and make up for beauty illustration which adheres to traditional and classical expressions. In this study, the following results were obtained: First, in terms of expression of beauty illustration, the work with art expressions are still poor compared to other fields such as fashion illustration. Therefore, it is necessary to attempt beauty illustration of a new image which expresses artistic emotions. Second, by using an artistic technique called 'paper sculpture', a semi-solid shape has been completed, and a decorative beauty illustration was created. People get new inspiration through beautiful and innocent art pieces, which in turn motivate to create new expression. New art activities which take a human body as an art support beauty activities through picture and more sensitive inspiration. It was attempted to express other emotion and beauty by observing a single piece of work. A new possibility in beauty illustration which is differentiated from other art activities is proposed and its domain is developed.

This paper examines the validity of the newly developed IT consulting SERVQUAL measurement tool. In an attempt to measure Ire IS customers' expectations and perceived quality of the services they received, the researchers developed a diagnostic tool of SERVQUAL based on the solid theoretical background, which can specifically be applied to the IT consulting service sector. This on-going research so far, has been applied to six (6) different organizations that have received IT consulting services over the past years. From the preliminary data collected, the correlation and the factor analyses were conducted to understand the underlying concept and refinement of the measurement tool. Although the correlation analysis showed a little tendency of collinearity among some of the variables, all showed sound relationship of the proposed hypotheses. The exploratory factor analytic approach was chosen because it does not set any priori constraints on the estimation of components or the number of components to be extracted. The number of different factor solutions was extracted and tested to see which solution represents better grouping of the variables. The Crombach's Alpha was computed on different combinations of the factor solutions to ensure validity. The results show 8-dimensional IT consulting SERVQUAL measures which they are, assurance, knowledge & skill, customer relationship, support, empathy, process management, expertise, and education, seem more appropriate than the originally proposed 6 dimensions. The study approach was non-experimental cross-sectional research design. The longitudinal design of follow-up studies to periodically revise and refine current measure is strongly recommended for fine tuning of the tool.

SSI(Surface/Surface Intersection)is a fundamental geometric operation which is used in solid and geometric modeling to support trimmed surface and Boolean operations. In this paper, we suggest a new algorithm for tracing along the intersection curve of two regular surfaces. Thus, in this paper, we present a simplicity of computing and second degree continunity. Given a point of intersection curve, it is traced to entire curve of a intersection curve as the initial point of its and the initial point of each of a intersection curve is detected to DFS(Depth First Search) method in the Quadtree and is naturally presented a continuous form.

Recently, as the technology for the development of high voltage power apparatus using SF6 gas has made remarkable progress, it became possible to develop more compact power apparatus adopting single body substation system. In these gas insulated power apparatus, it is impossible to achieve perfect and safe insulation using only SF6 gas, because some solid insulation parts should be installed to support current-carrying conductor parts for electrical and mechanical safety. When spacers were installed in SF6 gas insulation system, they were exposed to severe electrical intensification which could reduce system insulation performance and restrict the rated operating voltage So, it is necessary to clarify the dielectric characteristics of spacers by analytically and experimentally, in order to design and develop more compact and optimum gas insulated systems. In this paper, the field distribution of three-phase spacers were investigated using three dimensional electrostatic field analysis tool adopting BEM method. And the obtained results were compared to the conventional two dimensional computations. According to these three dimensional calculations, it was possible to find out weak points in the spacer more clearly and these results could be applied to design more compact and optimum three phase spacer developments.

The sludge settleability is a key factor for operating activated sludge process as well as BNR (biological nutrient removal) process, because the poor sludge settling causes an increase of suspended solid in the effluent. In order to improving the sludge settleability, a settling agent such as iron dust can be applied. In this study, the effect of sludge settleability on the performance of DNR (Daewoo nutrient removal) process was investigated with GPS-X, which is the popular wastewater treatment process model program, and the result of modeling was verified with operating lab-scale DNR process. As a result, if the sludge blanket keeps stable in the secondary settling tank, the effluent quality is similar in spite of different SVI values. And in case of the good sludge settleability, short HRT or long SRT increased the biomass concentration in the bioreactor, and improved the pollutant removal efficiency. In spite of daily influent changing, the good sludge settleability also guaranteed the stable effluent quality. And the results of the lab-scale DNR process experiment could support the simulated results.

In the secondary settling tanks, three different types of settling phenomena occurs; i.e., zone settling for sludge thickening in the bottom part of settling tank, and discrete and flocculent settling for clarification in the upper part. In this paper, morphological parameters of the floc in sludge blanket layers along the length of a long rectangular tank were investigated. The plant used for this study had a serious bulking problem caused by Microthrix parvicella. Floc size decreased as the surface area of settling tank increases, which indicates that in the secondary settling tank where zone settling believed to be predominant, free or flocculent type of settling contributes to floc size distributions. Large floc particles deposit in the front zone of settling tank, but small and loose flocs mostly in the zone near its outlet. On the other hand, filament length contained in one gram of sludge blanket solid increases along the flow direction. Large flocs with less filaments settle faster, but small flocs having more filaments result in poor settling. These results support function of microorganism selection occurring in secondary settling tank. In addition, designing a long rectangluar settling tank with double hoppers might be one of the ways of bulking control, but this idea has to be verified with a further study.

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of culture media and environment on PLB proliferation by using PLBs produced from leaf segments excised from shoot of Phalanopsis flower stalk. The fresh weight of PLBs propagated was higher in MS medium than in NDM (New Dogashima medium) or VW, but the condition of PLB was better in NDM medium. Natural additives of Coconut water, potato and apple were absolutely required for the PLB propagation. PLB propagation was better in solid medium than in liquid medium including cotton as support. Optimal sucrose concentration for proliferation was 10 g/L. PLB proliferation was very effective condition 14.3 $\mu$mol.s$^{-1}$ m$^{-2}$ in PPFD and $25^{\circ}C$.
