비냉각형 고효율 태양광 채광시스템 및 응용에 관한 연구 (Un-Cooled High Efficient Solar Lighting System and its Application)

  • 본 논문은 포물 반사경 방식 및 프레넬 렌즈 방식을 이용한 태양광 집광장치 및 이의 응용에 관한 것이다. 본 시스템은 대구경 반사경과 더불어 2차 광학계를 도입하여 광섬유로 입사되는 빛의 입사각을 광섬유의 개구수보다 작게 함으로써 집광효율을 극대화하였다. 또한 광섬유 단면에 입사하는 빛의 에너지 밀도를 낮게 하기 위해 광섬유 다발 직경 크기와 동일한 평행광이 광섬유로 입사되게 함으로써 반사경을 사용한 집광 시 문제가 되는 열발생 문제를 별도의 냉각장치 없이 근원적으로 차단하였다. 최근 각광받고 있는 식물공장에 주로 쓰이는 LED와 같은 인공광원 대신 본 연구에서 개발한 태양광 집광장치를 식물공장에 적용하여 인공조명과 태양광의 혼합조명장치를 통해 식물을 재배하였다. 그 결과 낮 시간대에 인공조명에 소요되는 전기에너지를 대폭 절감할 수 있었다. 혼합조명장치에서는 조도센서를 활용하여 항상 일정량의 빛이 식물에 제공되도록 LED등의 밝기를 조절하였다. 하루 10시간 기준으로 100형 규모의 식물공장에 태양광 채광시스템을 적용할 경우 한 달에 약 28,080KWh의 에너지 절감효과가 있다.

  • In view of global environmental problems and resource exhaustion, we must develop new energy resources that are abundant and provide substitutes for fossil fuels. Renewable energies, such as solar, are ideal because they are clean, inexhaustible, and available everywhere in the world. Photovoltaic(PV) system, in general, are operated as a stand-alone, grid-tied, or hybrid system. Many of the stand-alone PV systems are installed. Although the pre-installation cost of PV system is high, it poorly has been operated due to the absence of optimal management standards. Therefore a study on the performance of PV system is important for the system design and maintenance. In this paper a photovoltaic lighting system was resigned according to load consumption. Then a PV lighting system which used electrodeless lamp as a load was installed. In order to investigate the system operating characteristics we've added a monitoring system to the PV lighting system. The monitoring system using the LabVIEW program regularly checks the operation of the PV lighting system and records the system data. According to the system data, the stability and availability of the PV lighting system were evaluated.

  • 옥외 조명 시스템의 응용으로 두 가지 태양광설비(PV) 조명방식에 저압나트륨 램프(low pressure sodium: LPS)와 무전극 램프(electrodeless lamp)를 부하로 한 조명설비 시스템을 설계·제작·설치하며, 전지 수명을 고려한 감시 목적으로 데이터 수집에 유효한 랩뷰(Labview) 프로그램을 사용하였다. 설치된 PV 시스템에서 태양전지 배열로부터 만들어진 전원 및 그것의 최대 출력에 비교된 에너지 손실을 실험하였고, PV 시스템 개체구성 요소들의 성능을 관찰하였으며, 설치된 PV 조명방식들의 성능을 분석한 후, 태양전지 배열 음량을 줄이는 가능성에 대한 태양광 조명설비 동작특성에 대해 고찰하였다.

  • A review on the papers published in the Korean Journal of Solar Energy between 2000 and 2002 has been done. Focus has been put on current status of research in the aspect of Insolation. Solar Collector and Storage System, Solar Heating and Cooling System, Solar Cell and Lighting System, Active and Passive Solar Building, Heat Transfer in Solar Energy and Natural Energy. The conclusions are as follows. 1) Many studies on Insolation were conducted to optimize the usage of Solar Energy. 2) A review of the recent studies on solar thermal shows that there were many papers on solar collector and storage system. However, studies on the HVAC system using solar energy were relatively insufficient. 3) To produce high efficient solar cell. various experimental and numerical papers were published. However studies on control system, solar cell and lighting were seemed to be insufficient. 4) Studies on using solar energy in passive solar buildings were widely carried out, however, studies based on synthetic analysis of buildings and BIPV were insufficient. 5) Studies on heat transfer were mainly about heat exchanger, performance of heat pipe and multi air conditioner. 6) Studies on energy resources except for solar energy, such as hydraulic power and wind power etc. were very few.

태양집광판과 가로등의 유지보순 기술 향상을 위한 자동 승하강장치 시작품 설계 제작 (The Design cnd Manufacture on the Trial Manufacture of an Automatic Escalator System for the Maintenance Conservative Technology Advancement of the Solar Cell and Street Light)

  • 본 논문에서는 고공시설물인 태양집광판을 사용한 가로등의 집광효율과 유지보수 성능 향상을 위한 자동 승하강 장치를 설계 제작하였다. 자동 승하강장치는 태양집광판을 사용한 가로등과 유기적으로 동작가능하곤 태양집광판의 집광 각도를 조절하여 집광효율을 향상시킬 수 있다. 또한 태양집광판과 가로등을 쉽게 탈부착할 수 있는 구조로써 유지보수가 용이하도록 하였다. 자동 승하강장치를 장착한 태양집광판을 사용한 가로등을 활용함으로써 태양집광판의 집광효율 향상에 따른 가로등의 조명효율을 향상시킬 수 있고, 가로등의 유지보수 비용 절감 및 교체작업 시간 동안의 교통 정체현상 등을 예방할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

동적 LED 시스템의 조명원적 성능분석 (Evaluation on the lighting performance of a dynamic LED lighting system)

  • LED lighting has received much attention in recent years due to its high energy efficiency and environmental friendliness. As the color of light can be obtained by adjusting the light intensity of LEDs, the quality of visual environment can be improved. The aims of this study are to develop a wavelength adjustable LED lighting system and to examine its lighting performances. The LED lighting system and experimental cell for assessment of the lighting performance were constructed. This LED lighting system is able to materialize the various spectral power distribution and color temperature of light through the control of the four dimmers. Up to $432^4$ kinds of light combinations are possible. The range of illuminance on workplane were measured as 7~1,831 ㏓. Improvement of psychological and physical functions for occupants can be expected according to control of lighting performances.

AVR Microcontroller를 이용한 하이브리드 자연채광시스템의 성능에 관한 기초연구 (A Study on the Performance of a Hybrid Daylighting System Using AVR Microcontrollers)

  • This paper deals with the design and operation of a hybrid daylighting system that uses natural and artificial lighting to enhance visual comfort in buildings. The system was developed using an AVR micro controller for solar tracking in conjunction with dimming controls, which, acting together, enables the maximum use of natural daylight and also improves energy efficiency in buildings. Experimental results clearly demonstrates the usefulness of the present system capable of enhancing indoor lighting conditions when sufficient daylight is available and distributed appropriately in harmony with artificial lighting.

방위에 따른 정측창 시스템의 채광성능 평가 (Daylighting Performance of Topside Lighting Systems for Different Orientations)

  • Daylighting is core of sustainable design in most buildings. Well-designed daylighting systems can significantly reduce or even eliminate the electric lighting loads during the day time, including air conditioning energy loads. Among window systems. the topside lights systems including monitor lighting, sawtooth lighting, sunscoop and, lightscoop is one of the most popular apparatus to improve the lighting quantity. Also they are important both in terms of energy savings and visual quality. The objective of this study is to analyse daylighting performance of topside lighting system for different orientations. Four types of topside lighting system were tested and comparpd: monitor lighting, sawtooth lighting, lightscoop and sunscoop. Totally 25 measuring points of illuminance on the horizontal plane were monitored from 09:00 to 17:00 on October 6, 2008. Agilent data logger and photometric sensors Li-cor were used. Comparisons with a light factor is discussed. The results found in this study would mean that there were no significant differences in light factor between three cases.

태양광발전시스템을 이용한 유도등용 헝광램프의 점등에 관한 연구 (A Study on Lighting Emergency Lamp using Photovoltaic Generation System)

  • 비상시 또는 화재발생시에 인명의 원활한 대피를 위한 피난유도설비는 매우 중요하다. 이중 유도등은 상시점등되어 있어야할 뿐만 아니라 비상전원이 필요하므로 경제적 손실이 커지게 된다. 본 연구에서는 태양전지, 쵸퍼, 인버터로 태양광발전시스템을 구성하여 태양광으로부터 발생되는 에너지를 축전지에 저장시킨 후, half-bridge 인버터를 이용하여 상용전원없이 유도등이 점등되도록 제어하였다. 그 결과 상용전원으로 유도등 점등시와 제안한 시스템에 의한 유도등 점등결과가 동일함을 입증하고 그 유용성을 확인하였다.

태양전지 이용을 위한 LED 조명 제어기 설계 (A Design of LED Lighting Controller for use of Solar Battery)

  • LED lighting because of high efficiency, long life, friendly environment, as a general lighting of the next generation, has been substituted for incandescent bulb and fluorescent lamp. The proposed system for use of solar battery is the intelligent controller for LED street lights which is improved the method of battery charging and charging efficiency in winter to extend battery life cycle, controlled lighting current according to SoC and in steps. Also, it is implemented emotional lighting which is controlled with the surrounding environment, by using colorful sub LED to take up 10[%] of a source of total light, white LED. As a lab results, the proposed system was implemented functions to adapt to the environmental changes, and improved the charging efficiency and battery life cycle.
