Panoramic radiography is widely used as a primary radiological diagnosis in dentistry. However, due to the overlapping of anatomical structures, diagnostic capability of panoramic radiography is limited. Recently, panoramic machine equipped with various image processing software has been introduced to improve the diagnostic capability. This study aims to introduce panoramic equipment with multi-layer imaging software that can provide 41 images from anterior to posterior in region of interest, and to report in various clinical applications.

A simulated network protocol provides the capability of distributed simulation to a generic simulator. Through this, full coverage of management of data and service handling among separated simulators is achieved. The distributed simulation environment is much more conducive to handling simulation load balancing and hazard treatment than a standalone computer. According to the simulated network protocol, one simulator takes on the role of server and the other simulators take on the role of client, and client is controlled by server. The purpose of the simulated network protocol is to seamlessly connect multiple simulator instances into a single simulation environment. This paper presents the development of a simulated network (simNetwork) that provides the capability of distributed simulation to a generic simulator (GenSim), which is a software simulator of satellites that has been developed by the Korea Aerospace Research Institute since 2010, to use as a flight software validation bench for future satellite development.

Digit recognition based on backpropagation neural networks, as an important application of pattern recognition, was attracted much attention. Although it has the advantages of parallel calculation, high error-tolerance, and learning capability, better recognition effects can only be achieved with some specific fixed format input of the digit image. Therefore, digit image preprocessing ability directly affects the accuracy of recognition. Here using Matlab software, the digit image was enhanced by resizing and neutral-rotating the extracted digit image, which improved the digit recognition capability of the backpropagation neural network under practical conditions. This method may also be helpful for recognition of other patterns with backpropagation neural networks.

This study attempts to explain the mechanism behind the migration from vertically integrated value chain architecture to an innovation ecosystem consisting of horizontally separated layers in value chain. We first present a comprehensive framework based on the theoretical analysis of the drivers for migration to an innovation ecosystem, which are standard (institution), capability distribution, and transaction costs. The theoretical framework suggests that the migration to an innovation ecosystem is explained by the influence of standard on the evolutionary change of capability distribution and transaction costs. In particular, when the new de-jure standard competes with the de-facto standard, the new de-jure standard has the greatest impact on the distribution capabilities and the transaction costs. Based on this theoretical framework, we analyze the latest SDN (Software Defined Networking) case of the network industry. SDN standard has transformed the industry from a vertically integrated value chain architecture to a horizontally separated one with its influence on the distribution capabilities and the transaction costs in the industry.

SPICE(Software Process Improvement and Capability dEtermination) 평가 모형에 기반한 중소기업형 프로세스 개선 모형으로 SPIRE (Software Process Improvement in Regions of Europe)가 개발되어 제공되고 있다. 그러나 SPIRE에서는 조직의 경영 목적에 맞는 프로세스 선택을 위한 구체적인 지침이나 매핑을 제시하고 있지 못하다. 이 연구에서는 프로세스 선택시 활용할 수 있는 객관적인 경영 목표-프로세스간 매핑 참조 테이블을 작성하고, 이를 활용한 프로세스 선정 방안을 제시한다. 매핑 참조 테이블은 델파이 기법을 활용하여 국내 소프트웨어 프로세스 전문가들의 의견 수렴을 통해 작성되었다. 본 연구에서 제시된 프로세스 선정 기법은 매핑 참조 테이블과 해당 업체 관련자의 주관적인 매핑 정보를 종합적으로 활용하여 최종적으로 개선 대상 프로세스를 선정되도록 한다. 이 연구에서 제시된 선정 방법을 2개의 중소 소프트웨어 조직에 실제 적용하여 활용 가능성을 검토하였다. 매핑 참조 테이블을 사용하여 업체 관련자가 간과하고 있던 주요 프로세스를 평가 대상 프로세스로 선정할 수 있었다.

최근 소프트웨어 산업분야가 높은 부가가치를 창출할 수 있는 분야임을 인식하면서, 회사의 규모를 막론하고 대부분의 소프트웨어 개발 조직에서 전문 인력을 확보에 고민하고 있다. 그러나 조직의 장기적인 비즈니스를 고려하지 않는 소프트웨어 개발 인력의 채용은 추후 또 다시 인력의 부족현상을 초래할 것이며, 채용 인력에 대한 장기적인 인력 관리에 대한 전략적 설계가 없다면 많은 소프트웨어 개발 인력을 확보하고도 높은 성과를 달성하기 어려울 것이다. 본 논문에서는 조직에서의 소프트웨어 개발 역량을 강화하기 위하여 소프트웨어 직무를 세부적으로 도출하고, 직무별 프로파일을 정의하기 위한 방안을 제시한다. 또한 제시된 프로파일을 근간으로 직원의 Career Path를 어떻게 관리할 것인가에 대하여 제시한다. 제시하는 직무 프로파일 기반 인력관리는 조직에서 적정 규모의 효율적 인력 운영과 비즈니스 성과 달성을 가능하게 하는 기반이 될 것으로 판다한다.

The effort for software process improvement is lately surging its interest though it does not satisfy both developer and receiver In terms of low productivity, quality, delay and increasing cost. According to current research, software process improvement contributes to improvement of productivity, its Duality, reduction of development time and cost, and the prediction of the time limit for delivery, which means software process improvement affects competitive advantage among developers. The latest research is whether the investment for information technology substantially had effect on improvement of productivity. That is, software process improvement and maturity of software industries has influence upon economic efficiency and as a result, it plays an important role in whole industries. This research is that how does software process improvement using CMM (Capability Maturity Model) and SPICE (Software Process Improvement and Capability dEtermination) have a effect on factors of software engineering, and how does it have influence upon competitive advantage among SI firms. For this research, reusability, customizability, participation, and review & inspection are set to independent variable and process flexibility and process predictability are set to mediate Variable. Finally, competitive advantage among SI firms Is set to dependent variable. The targets for survey are laborers who work for SI firms. The result of this research is as follows: 1 ) Reusability, Customizability and participation is not rejected but review and Inspection is rejected in process flexibility which has significant level 0.05. 2) Reusability, Customizability and participation is not rejected but review and inspection Is rejected in process predictability which has significant level 0.05. 3) Process flexibility is not rejected and process predictability Is rejected in the competitive advantage of 51 industries which has significant level 0.05

최근 여러 학문 분야와의 협력과 통합을 통한 새로운 지식의 창출과 창의적 문제 해결 능력을 갖출 수 있는 교육의 필요성이 증가됨에 따라 대학에서는 타 전공지식과 소프트웨어 소양을 겸비한 창의융합인재 양성을 위해 소프트웨어 역량 교육의 필수화를 추진하고 있다. 컴퓨터 비전공자를 대상으로 하는 소프트웨어 교육을 통해 창의융합인재를 양성하기 위해서는 학습자가 다양한 지식을 활용 및 적용하여 문제를 스스로 해결 할 수 있는 능력을 키우는 것이 중요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 컴퓨터 비전공 대학 신입생들이 소프트웨어 교과목을 이수하며 만들어낸 프로젝트와 학습자의 사전 사후 설문조사 결과를 분석해봄으로써 소프트웨어와 학습자 전공분야와의 융합 가능성을 탐색하고 향후 컴퓨터 비전공 대학 신입생들의 소프트웨어 교육 방향에 대해 제언하고자 한다.

In this paper, we Present the implementation of statistical process control software by using XLISP-STAT which is a kind of object oriented language under Windows environment. This software can be used to generate the graphic objects for various control charts, histogram and plots using the full-down menu system. This software can also be used to calculate control limits, process capability indices and test procedures for normality.

In this paper, the safety criteria and framework of railway software which is developing presently is examined. The software development capability and organization of railway company in korea are investigated through interview and are analyzed. Then the application plan for railway software safety criteria is deduced to apply criteria to railway industry effectively.
