The final goal of this study is to develop a system that can analyze whether a wanted vehicle is a criminal vehicle from images collected from black boxes, smartphones, CCTVs, and so on. Data collection was collected using a self-developed black box. The used data in this study has used a total of 83,753 cases such as the eight vehicle types(truck, RV, passenger car, van, SUV, bus, sports car, electric vehicle) and 434 vehicle models. As a result of vehicle recognition using YOLO v5, mAP was found to be 80%. As a result of identifying the vehicle model with ReXNet using the self-developed black box, the accuracy was found to be 99%. The result was verified by surveying field police officers. These results suggest that improving the accuracy of data labeling helps to improve vehicle recognition performance.

With the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, education on artificial intelligence is one of the important topics. However, since existing education is aimed at knowledge, it is not suitable for developing the active problem-solving ability and AI utilization ability required by artificial intelligence education. To solve this problem, we proposes PBL-based education method in which learners learn in the process of solving the presented problem. The problem presented to the learner is a completed project. This project consists of three types: a classification model, the training data of the classification model, and the block code to be executed according to the classified result. The project works, but each component is designed to perform a low level of operation. In order to solve this problem, the learners can expect to improve their computational thinking skills by finding problems in the project through testing, finding solutions through discussion, and improving to a higher level of operation.

With the advent of autonomous ships, it is emerging as one of the very important issues not only to operate with a minimum crew or unmanned ships, but also to secure the safety of ships to prevent marine accidents. On-site inspection of the hull is mainly performed by the inspector's visual inspection, and video information is recorded using a small camera if necessary. However, due to the shortage of inspection personnel, time and space constraints, and the pandemic situation, the necessity of introducing an automated inspection system using artificial intelligence and remote inspection is becoming more important. Furthermore, research on hardware and software that enables the automated inspection system to operate normally even under the harsh environmental conditions of a ship is absolutely necessary. For automated inspection systems, it is important to review artificial intelligence technologies and equipment that can perform a variety of hull failure detection and classification. To address this, it is important to classify the hull failure. Based on various guidelines and expert opinions, we divided them into 6 types(Crack, Corrosion, Pitting, Deformation, Indent, Others). It was decided to apply object detection technology to cracks of hull failure. After that, YOLOv5 was decided as an artificial intelligence model suitable for survey and a common hull crack dataset was trained. Based on the performance results, it aims to present the possibility of applying artificial intelligence in the field by determining and testing the equipment required for survey.

Image-based application testing proposes an application testing method via image structure comparison. This test method allows testing on various devices without relying on various types of device operating systems or GUI. Traditional studies required the creation of a tester for each variant in the existing case, because it differs from the correct image for operating system changes, screen animation execution, and resolution changes. The study determined that the screen is the same for variations. The tester compares the underlying structure of the objects in the two images and extracts the regions in which the differences exist in the images, and compares image similarity as characteristic points of the Faster D2-Net. The development of the Faster D2-Net reduced the number of operations and spatial losses compared to the D2-Net, making it suitable for extracting features from application images and reducing test performance time.
Purpose: The aims of the present study were 1) to quantitatively evaluate the extent of sinus pneumatization and 2) to determine the factors affecting sinus pneumatization. Methods: Based on implant treatment records, a list of patients who underwent implant placement on the posterior maxilla was obtained. Among them, patients with pre-extraction and post-extraction (before implant placement) panoramic radiographs were selected. After excluding radiographs with low resolution and image distortion, the radiographs before and after extraction were superimposed using computer software. Subsequently, the extent of sinus pneumatization (the vertical change of the sinus floor) was measured. Simple and multiple mixed models were used to determine the factors affecting sinus pneumatization. Results: A total of 145 patients were eligible for the present investigation. The average extent of sinus pneumatization was 1.56±3.93 mm at 176 tooth sites. Male sex, single tooth extraction, extraction of an endodontically compromised tooth, a class I root-sinus relationship, and sinus membrane thickening >10 mm favored pneumatization, but without statistical significance. The maxillary second molar presented the greatest pneumatization (2.25±4.39 mm) compared with other tooth types. This finding was confirmed in the multiple mixed model, which demonstrated a statistically significant impact of the extraction of a second molar compared with the extraction of a first premolar. Conclusions: Maxillary sinus pneumatization was 1.56±3.93 mm on average. The extraction of a second molar led to the greatest extent of pneumatization, which should be considered in the treatment plan for this tooth site.

Accidents caused by black ice occur frequently every winter, and the fatality rate is very high compared to other traffic accidents. Therefore, a systematic method is needed to predict the black ice formation before accidents. In this paper, we proposed a black ice prediction model based on heterogenous and multi-type data. To this end, 12,574,630 cases of 46 types of land, infrastructure, transport public data and meteorological public data were collected. Subsequently, the data cleansing process including missing value detection and normalization was followed by the establishment of approximately 600,000 refined datasets. We analyzed the correlation of 42 factors collected to predict the occurrence of black ice by selecting only 21 factors that have a valid effect on black ice prediction. The prediction model developed through this will eventually be used to derive the route-specific black ice risk index, which will be utilized as a preliminary study for black ice warning alart services.
A large deformation FEM (Finite Element Method) based numerical analysis has been performed to study the behaviour of the bell-shaped anchor embedded in undrained saturated (cohesive) soil with the help of finite element based software ABAQUS. A typical model anchor with bell-diameter of 0.125 m, embedded in undrained saturated soil with varying cohesive strength (from 5 kN/m2 to 200 kN/m2) has been chosen for studying the characteristic behaviour of the bell-shaped anchor installed in cohesive soil. Breakout factors have been evaluated for each case and verified with the results of experimental model tests for three different types of soil samples. The maximum value of breakout factor was found as about 8.5 within a range of critical embedment ratio of 2.5 to 3. An explicit model has been developed to estimate the breakout factor (Fc) for uplift capacity of bell-shaped anchor within clay mass in terms of H/D ratio (embedment ratio). It was also found that, the ultimate uplift capacity of the anchor increases with the increase of the value of cohesive strength of the soil and H/D ratio. The empirical equation developed in the present investigation is usable within the range of cohesion value and H/D ratio from 5 kN/m2 to 200 kN /m2 and 0.5 to 3.0 respectively. The proposed model has been validated against data obtained from a series of model tests carried out in the present investigation. From the stress-profile analysis of the soil mass surrounding the anchor, occurrence of stress concentration is found to be generated at the joint of anchor shaft and bell. It was also found that the vertical and horizontal stresses surrounding the anchor diminish at about a distance of 0.3 m and 0.15 m respectively.

After the COVID-19 pandemic, the spread of the untact culture and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which generates various types of data, generated so much data that it was not compared to before. This led to higher data throughput, revealing little by little the limitations of the existing network system centered on vendors and hardware. Recently, SDN technology centered on users and software that can overcome these limitations is attracting attention. In addition, SDN-based load balancing techniques are expected to increase efficiency in the load balancing area of the server cluster in the data center, which generates and processes vast and diverse data. Unlike existing SDN load distribution studies, this paper proposes a load distribution technique in which a controller checks the state of a server according to the occurrence of an event rather than periodic confirmation through a monitoring technique and allocates a user's request by weighting it according to a load ratio. As a result of the desired experiment, the proposed technique showed a better equal load balancing effect than the comparison technique, so it is expected to be more effective in a server cluster in a large and packet-flowing data center.
Background Reactive oxygen species cause serious damage to the physiological function of tissues. Determination of total antioxidant capacity of skin tissue is one of the determinants of damaged tissue function. Mast cells (MCs) are one of the groups of cells that are invited to the site of injury. The healing process begins with the rapid release of various types of MCs' intermediate factors at the site of injury. Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell (BMMSC) production and secretion have been shown to regenerate the skin. The aim of this research was to evaluate the wound-healing and antioxidant effects of BMMSCs per MCs. Methods Fifty-four albino Wistar male rats were divided into three groups: (1) nonsurgery, (2) surgery, and (3) surgery + BMMSCs. Groups 2 and 3 were operated with a 3 × 8 cm flap and in group 3, cell injections (7 × 109 cell injection at the time of surgery) were performed. After days 4, 7, and 15, percentage of the surviving tissue, histological characteristics, superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity, and amount of malondialdehyde (MDA) were measured in the groups. For results, Graph Pad Prism 8 software was used, and data were analyzed and compared by analysis of variance and Tukey test. Results BMMSCs' application decreased the amount of MDA, increased SOD activity and survival rate of the flaps, and improved the histological characteristics. Conclusion This study revealed the protective effects BMMSCs alongside MCs against oxidative stress on the survival of the flaps. However, for clinical use, more research is needed to determine its benefits.
