몬테칼로 깁스방법을 적용한 소프트웨어 신뢰도 성장모형에 대한 베이지안 추론과 모형선택에 관한 연구 (Bayesian Inference and Model Selection for Software Growth Reliability Models using Gibbs Sampler)

  • Bayesian inference and model selection method for software reliability growth models are studied. Software reliability growth models are used in testing stages of software development to model the error content and time intervals between software failures. In this paper, we could avoid the multiple integration by the use of Gibbs sampling, which is a kind of Markov Chain Monte Carlo method to compute the posterior distribution. Bayesian inference and model selection method for Jelinski-Moranda and Goel-Okumoto and Schick-Wolverton models in software reliability with Poisson prior information are studied. For model selection, we explored the relative error.

  • Purpose: This paper suggests the procedure to enhance the reliability of the software of the medical device that is to cure, treat, diagnose, and prevent a disease or an abnormal health conditions. Methods: After test requirements are classified by the software requirements specification for safety and backgrounds, reliability assessment methods are suggested. Results: Verification and validation for function and safety can be performed whether the medical device software are implemented as intended. Conclusion: Procedure on the static analysis, unit test, integration test, and system test are provided for the medical device software.

  • 최근 컴퓨터 가상화 기술이 발전됨에 따라 필요한 소프트웨어를 서비스 형태로 사용하는 소프트웨어 서비스(Software as a Service SaaS)가 많은 응용분야에서 사용되고 있다. 그러나 소프트웨어 서비스를 제공하는 기존 시스템은 사용자의 증가에 서버 성능이 급속히 저하되는 문제점과 일시적인 사용자 폭증으로 생기는 핫스팟(Hotspot)에 안정적인 서비스를 제공하지 못하는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위하여 본 논문은 소프트웨어 실행을 위한 작업들이 모두 서버에서 실행되는 것이 아니라 데이터 집중적인 작업들은 서버에서 직접 실행하고 그래픽 집중적인 작업들은 네트워크 전송을 통하여 클라이언트에서 처리되는 분할 실행 방식과 개별적으로 운영되는 SaaS 서버들을 하나로 통합하는 시스템을 제안한다.

  • 시스템 통합의 포괄적인 의미로는 사용자요구를 만족시키고, 사업의 성공을 위해 하드웨어, 소프트웨어, 네트워크, 시스템개발, 유지보수, 교육, 인력 등을 자기 책임하에 조달 확보하여 제공하는 것이다. 그러나 아직 이에 대한 기본개념이 정립되지 있지 않고 추진절차에 따른 모델링작업이 되어 있지 않다. 본고에서는 첫째, SI에 대한 기본개념을 실무중심으로 정립하고 둘째, SI추진절차를 최신기법의 대형 프로젝트를 중심으로 모델링화 작업을 하였다. 이러한 추진방법론을 바탕으로 일반 SI사업뿐만 아니라 GIS사업추진시에 단독으로 시스템을 구축하기보다는 조직의 SI 사업의 일환으로 조직전략과 IT기술을 연계하여 시스템을 구축함으로서 국가 및 산업경쟁력을 높일 수 있을 것이다.

  • Today's robots consist of many hardware and software subsystems, depending on the functions needed for specific tasks. Integration of subsystems can require a great deal of effort, as both the communication method and protocol of the subsystem can vary. This paper proposes an expandable robotic system in which all subsystems are integrated under Robot Operation System (ROS) framework. To achieve this, the paper presents a software library, ROS_M, developed to implement the TCP/IP-based ROS communication protocol in different control environments such as MCU and RT kernel based embedded system. Then, all the subsystem including hardware can use ROS protocol consistently for communication, which makes adding new software or hardware subsystems to the robotic system easier. A latency measurement experiment reveals that the system built for loop control can be used in a soft real-time environment. Finally, an expandable mobile manipulator robot is introduced as an application of the proposed system. This robot consists of four subsystems that operate in different control environments.

Formulation, solution and CTL software for coupled thermomechanics systems

  • In this work, we present the theoretical formulation, operator split solution procedure and partitioned software development for the coupled thermomechanical systems. We consider the general case with nonlinear evolution for each sub-system (either mechanical or thermal) with dedicated time integration scheme for each sub-system. We provide the condition that guarantees the stability of such an operator split solution procedure for fully nonlinear evolution of coupled thermomechanical system. We show that the proposed solution procedure can accommodate different evolution time-scale for different sub-systems, and allow for different time steps for the corresponding integration scheme. We also show that such an approach is perfectly suitable for parallel computations. Several numerical simulations are presented in order to illustrate very satisfying performance of the proposed solution procedure and confirm the theoretical speed-up of parallel computations, which follow from the adequate choice of the time step for each sub-problem. This work confirms that one can make the most appropriate selection of the time step with respect to the characteristic time-scale, carry out the separate computations for each sub-system, and then enforce the coupling to preserve the stability of the operator split computations. The software development strategy of direct linking the (existing) codes for each sub-system via Component Template Library (CTL) is shown to be perfectly suitable for the proposed approach.

  • This paper presents a case study on an integration between ERP and GIS solutions. Some expected advantages of each solution of the integrated system are discussed. We select an integrated system composed of SAP R/3 ERP and ESRI GIS solutions. The data and software integration (interface) framework are discussed, and finally some further studies are added.

수리온 임무탑재체계의 통합시험 환경개발 (Development of the MEP Integration Test Environment for Surion)

  • 최신항공기 개발에서 증가추세에 있는 항공전자 장비들의 효율적인 통합시험 수행을 위 해 통합시험환경구축이 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 특히 개발기간 최소화 및 신뢰성과 신속한 통합시험수행을 위해 통합시험장비 개발이 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 수리온(KUH) 임무탑재장비(MEP)의 각 장비별 특성을 분석 후 최적의 통합시험 수행을 위한 장비별 모델개발을 다루었다. 모델은 동작특성에 따라 동적(Dynamic), 행동(Behavior), 연동(ICD) 모델로 구분하였으며 장비의 고장탐구 및 미장착된 장비의 동작특성 모사가 모델링의 주목적이다. 모델은 소프트웨어 단위시험 및 체계 통합시험 두 단계로 나누어 객관적 신뢰성을 검증하였다. 수리온 MEP 통합시험장비(SIL)를 이용하여 개발된 모델을 통합시험에 적용한 결과 설계 목적에 부합됨을 확인하였다.

  • It can be considered that the safety of software is combined with that of hardware, and also directly connected to system safety. Because the software in the railway system takes the form of Embedded that let it behave at the system level, instead of independent operation, the safety of the railway S/W is also important. The approach, for ensuring the quality and safety of those software, can be considered with two points of view. Those are views seeing from products, and from processes. The two points of approach are all necessary in the railway system. For the first of all, the process approach is to validate maturity of the organizations in accordance to the judging processes of organizations, which are specified by CMMI(Capability Maturity Model Integration) or SPICE(Software Process Improvement and Capability dEtermination: ISO/IECl5504). In this paper, as the first step of them, we are trying to find approaches to estimate the maturity of manufacturer and assessment organization in the railway system.

GeoVideo: A First Step to MediaGIS

  • MediaGIS is a concept of tightly integrated multimedia with spatial information. VideoGIS is an example of MediaGIS focused on the interaction or interaction of video and spatial information. Our suggested GeoVideo, a new concept of VideoGIS has its key feature in interactiveness. In GeoVideo, the geographic tasks such as browsing, searching, querying, spatial analysis can be performed based on video itself. GeoVideo can have the meaning of paradigm shift from artificial, static, abstracted and graphical paradigm to natural, dynamic, real, and image-based paradigm. We discuss about the integration of video and geography and also suggest the GeoVideo system design. Several considerations on expanding the functionalities of GeoVideo are explained for the future works.
