폴리염화비닐에 방사선 조사시의 저항의 변화와 가소제의 영향 (A study for the changer of resistance and influence of the dioctylphthalate by irradiation on the polyvinyl chloride)

  • PVC is a kind of electric insulation polymer. But we get some deteriorations in electrical characteristics of the PVC, when it is used on the radioactive field. In order to find out the cause of the deterioration, we investigate the surface-resistance, volume-resistance, dielectric constant and dielectric loss angle of the soft and hard PVC which is irradiated by the Co$^{60}$ .gamma. radioactivity. From the experiment, we can conclude the followings 1. Radio-activity proof characteristic in the soft PVC is stronger than in the hard PVC. 2. The resistance of PVC which is irradiated by the radio-activity decrease exponentially. 3. The dielectric constant and the dielectric loss angle of PVC irradiated by Co$^{60}$ .gamma.ray reach maximum value in first few time.

Local Hard-Soft Acid-Base 이론을 이용한 유기 반응의 분석

  • Hard-Soft Acid-Base (HSAB) 이론은 일반적인 유기, 무기반응의 반응성을 설명하는데 사용되어 왔다. 밀도범함수이론(DFT)을 기반으로 한 계산을 통하여 반응을 기술하기 위해 필요한 화학 퍼텐셜, global/local hardness/softness와 Fukui 함수 등을 얻을 수 있다. B3LYP 수준 하에서 DFT 양자계산을 이용하여 유기 반응을 분석했을 때 local HSAB 이론의 적용여부와 장단점을 알아보고자 하였다. 1-subtituted 다이엔과 비대칭 친다이엔체를 이용한 딜스-알더 반응의 경우 local HSAB 이론을 적용시켜, 오쏘 이성질체가 주 화합물인 이유를 설명할 수 있었다. 작용기를 변화시켰을 때 나타나는 차이점에서 규칙적인 경향성을 볼 수 없다는 사실을 통해서 전자, 입체 효과로 딜스-알더 반응을 분석할 수 없었던 이유를 이해할 수 있었다. Thiocyanate 음이온의 알킬화 반응의 경우 local HSAB 이론을 적용시켰을 때, 얻은 값을 통해서 반응 지점의 선호도를 예측할 수 없었는데 이는 thiocyanate를 생성하는 반응이 속도론적 지배 하에서 우세하는 반응이기 때문이다.

Hard segments can be formed via hydrogen bonding and crystallization, function as physical crosslinks below melting point (Tm).   • By introducing the notion of constraint-oriented fuzzy inference, we will show that it provides us ways of fuzzy control methods that has abilities of adaptation, learning and self-organization. The basic supporting techniques behind these abilities are“hard”processing by Artificial Intelligence or traditional computational framework and“soft”processing by Neural Network or Genetic Algorithm techniques. The reason that these techniques can be incorporated to fuzzy control systems is that the notion of“constraint”itself has two fundamental properties, that is, the“modularity”property due to its declarativeness and the“logicality”property due to its two-valuedness. From the former property, the modularity property, decomposing and integrating constraints can be done easily and efficiently, which enables us to carry out the above“soft”processing. From the latter property, the logicality property, Qualitative Reasoning and Instance Generalization by Symbolic Reasoning an be carried out, thus enabling the“hard”processing.

  • The clinical investigation and operation procedure were described on the gunshot wound which involved on soft, hard palate and nasal cavity. The patient, 19 years old, female, admitted in Han Yang Medical Center with clinical diagnosis of maxillofacial injuries on Nov. 1973. No Significant signs include of airway obstruction, Oro-nasal bleeding were revealed only exception of rupture and perforation on the soft, hard palate. For closure and reduction of destructed palatal wound, operation was done in out patient dental clinic under local anesthesia by means of Langenbeck method. And to control of post-operative inflammation and reactive swelling, administration of accurate antibiotics and physical therapy were performed for 5 days after operation. On the 10th day after administration, patient was discharged with satisfactory result of operation.

Study on sintering process of woodceramics from the cashew nutshell waste

  • In this study, the sintering mechanism of woodceramics (WCs) from cashew nut shell waste (CNSW) was studied by analyzing chemical reactions and structural changes during the sintering process of of CNSW powder, liquefied wood and green bodies of WCs at $900^{\circ}C$ for 60 minutes in the $CO_2$ atmosphere. The chemical and structural properties of the products were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results showed that the decomposition reactions of liquefied wood and CNSW occurred simultaneously to form the hard carbon and the soft carbon at high temperature. The sintering mechanism of WCs has been presented.

폴리우레탄 코팅제에 있어서 Hard Segment와 Soft Segment의 조성 및 함량변화가 내마모성에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Soft/Hard Segment Composition and Content on the Abrasion Resistance of Polyurethane Coating Agents)

  • Weatherstrip coatings of urethane and silicon type which are fit to EPDM and thermoplastic materials are used in sealing systems for automotive applications for noise reduction and high slip characteristics for external applications, respectively. Polyurethane binder was successfully synthesized from poly(butyladiphate)diol (PBAD), poly(tetramethylene)glycol (PTMG) and isocyanate as starting materials. Then, polyurethane coating agents were prepared by using various additives. To investigate effects of segment types on the abrasion resistance of polyurethane coating agents, thin films based on polyurethane coating materials were fabricated. With increasing the amount of hard segment in the coating agent, abrasion resistance, modulus and tensile strength of the coating films were improved, but the elongation of the coating films was decreased.

진행성 반안면위축환자의 치험례 (A Case Report of Progressive Hemifacial Atrophy)

  • A progressive hemifacial atrophy is characterized by progressive atrophy of subcutaneous fat and rarely muscle and bone. Its contour follows the underlying muscle. Unilateral involvement is common. The treatment goal has been focused on the augmentation of the soft tissue. Many materials such as implants, collagen, fat graft, fat injection, dermal fat graft, filler and vascualized autogenous graft have been used. Although these materials have been used, the best treatment hasn't been achived. In severe cases underlying soft tissue, muscle and bone may be atrophied and massive soft tissue graft, implant and orthognathic surgery must be used. The author used the dermal-fat tissue for the pupose of soft tissue augmentation. We can get the massive soft tissue by the dermolipectomy procedure through the mini-abdominoplsty. The facial augmentation was done by augmentation of the dermal-fat tissue. The progressive hemifacial atrophy is hard to treat by only one procedure and many modalites must be considered.

연약점토 지반에 있는 STONE COLUMN의 지지력 산정 (Bearing capacity analysis of stone column in soft clay soils)

  • Use of stone column for deep ground treatment in soft clay soils is an effective method. The stone column significantly increases load carrying capacity of the soft clay soil. A analysis method for bearing capacity of stone column in soft clay soil is developed. The capacity made by developed method are compared wity observed values from field load test and a reasonable correlation is noted.

  • Most of converter system could obtain almost unity power factor and make input current sinusoidal waveform, but they have many problems, such as electromagnetic interference and switching losses caused by switching noise in main switch. To solve these problems in hard switching PFC converter, soft switching converter using a resonant between capacitor and inductor is invented In this paper, advantages and disadvantages of conventional ZVT(Zero-Voltage-Transition) soft switching converter using a auxiliary resonant circuit is discussed. Then Improved ZVT soft switching converter proposed. This improved ZVT converter's operation principal, specific property, design scheme of main are described. From Simulation and experiment results of conventional ZVT soft switching and improved ZVT soft switching converter with active snubber, characteristics of the converter are confirmed.
