유동성이 우수한 분체특성을 갖는 세파졸린 나트륨 진공동결건조 분말의 제조 (Preparation of Freeze-dried Cefazolin Sodium Bulk Powder with Good Flowability)

  • The effect of reaction condition, solvent addition and thermal treatment on the bulk density, crystallinity and chemical properties of the freeze-dried cefazohn sodium was inves tigated to prepare the cefazolin sodium powder for injection with good flowability. Crystalline cefazolin sodium powder with high untapped-bulk density (about 45%) and low compressibility (about 40%) was obtained by solvent addition to the very highly concentrated cefazohn sodium solution followed by subsequent thermal treatment before freeze-drying. The desirable solvent was low substituted alcohol such as isopropyl alcohol and anhydrous ethanol with the final concentration of about 9%. The pH adjustment and nitrogen gas purging during the reaction did not give significant effect on the chemical properties such as content, color, transmittance and pH of the reconstituted cefazolin sodium aqueous solution.

  • Graft copolymerization of methlymethacrylate(MMA) onto sodium alginate(SA) aqueous solution by sodium metaperiodate$(NaIO_4)$ as an initiator was carried out with the variation of the reaction time, the reaction temperature and the concentrations of initiator and monomer. The results obtained were as follows: 1. SA was easily separated from the reaction mixture of homopolymer, graft polymer and sodium alginate ungrafted by the treatment of concentrated boiling $Na_3PO_4$, solution with the small amount of $Na_2SO_3$ to the mixture and then isolated as the acid form by acidifying the salts solution containing SA. 2. The amount of graft polymer was larger than that of homopolymer below $70^{\circ}C$ whereas above $70^{\circ}C$ the amount of homopolymer was larger. 3. The sum of each amount of graft polymer ana homopolymer was always increased with increase of the reaction time, the reaction temperature and the concentrations of initiator and monomer. 4. With increase of the concentration of initiator, the graft efficiency was increased below $70^{\circ}C$ while decreased above $70^{\circ}C$. 5. Graft copolymerization of MMA onto SA in aqueous solution was carried out without initiator.

탄산화 및 저온 결정화를 통한 나트륨 농축수로부터 나트륨 화합물 합성 (Synthesis of Na Compounds from Sodium Concentrated Solution Using Carbonation and Cryo-crystallization)

  • 나트륨 농축수로부터 나트륨 화합물을 합성하기 위하여 탄산화(step I) 및 저온 결정화(step II)를 수행하였다. 탄산화 과정에서는 반응 온도를 조절 변수로 이용하여 이를 통해 이산화탄소(95 wt.%)의 용해도 및 pH를 변화시켰다. 저온 결정화 과정은 탄산화 과정 후 2 ℃로 유지한 상태에서 진행하였다. 이산화탄소의 주입은 용액 내 탄산 이온의 안정적 생산과 포화 용해도를 고려하여 두 차례 주입하였다. 첫 번째 주입은 이산화탄소 주입량 증가 및 안정적인 탄산 이온 생성을 목적으로 반응 온도를 35 ℃에서 10 ℃로 변화시켜 CO2의 용해도를 변화하고자 하였고, 두 번째 주입은 NaCl 용액 혼합과 동시에 탄산화를 통한 나트륨 화합물의 핵생성을 유도할 목적으로 수행하였다. 또한 저온 결정화에서는 pH 조절 및 반응 온도 변화(10 ℃에서 2 ℃)를 통해 탄산화 속도를 느리게 유도함으로써 나트륨 화합물의 결정 성장을 유도할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서는 NaOH 농도에 대한 효과를 검토하였으며 2M NaOH를 사용한 경우에 나트룸 화합물의 순도가 증가하였다. 또한, 합성 한 나트륨 화합물은 대부분 rod 형상을 갖는 물질들로 X-선 회절 분석을 통해 중탄산나트륨 또는 수화물(monohydrate) 형태의 탄산나트륨임을 확인하였다.

  • 본 연구는 중금속 추출 공정에 쓰이는 사차 암모늄 염인 Aliquat 336을 포함하는 콜로이드 액상 에이프런 (colloidal liquid aphrons, CLAs)을 지용성 계면활성제와 수용성 계면활성제를 사용하여 제조하였고 연속상에서 농축된 CLAs의 안정성을 표면으로 떠오르는 유기 용매의 양을 시간에 따라 측정하여 평가하였다. 다양한 조건에서 CLAs의 안정성을 비교하기 위해서 반감기가 도입되었다. 전해질의 첨가나 pH의 변화와 같은 연속상의 상태 변화는 CLAs의 파괴(break-up) 속도에 상당히 영향을 미치는데 이 파괴 속도가 급격히 변화하는 임계 응집 농도가 존재한다. pH의 변화에 따른 임계 응집 농도를 측정하였고 이온의 세기, 수용성 계면활성제 Sodium Dodecyl Sulfonate (SDBS)의 농도에 대한 CLAs의 안정성에 대한 영향을 고찰하였다.

$La(OH)_3$ 공침에 의한 물시료 중 흔적량 인산이온의 부선 농축 (Flotation-Concentration of Trace Phosphate Ion in Water Samples by $La(OH)_3$ Coprecipitation)

  • $La(OH)_3$ 공침에 의한 극미량 인산이온의 부선 및 농축에 관한 연구를 가시/자외선 분광광도법을 이용하여 수행하였다. 암모니아용액으로 조절한 pH 9.5의 1.0L 시료용액 중 인산 이온을 수산화란탄 침전에 공침시켰다. 1:8의 sodium oleate와 sodium dodecyl sulfate 혼합 계면활성제를 가하고 질소기체를 bubbling하여 침전들을 용액 표면으로 띄웠다. 뜬 침전들을 감압 플라스크에 모은 다음 용액을 걸러 버리고 침전을 묽은 암보니아용액으로 씻고 황산에 녹였다. 몰리브덴 청색법으로 농축된 용액 중 인산이온을 정량하였다. 이상의 방법으로 수도물과 강물 중 인산이온을 분석하였고 각 시료에 인산이온을 20.0ng/mL 가하여 분석한 결과 각각 93%와 86%의 회수율을 얻었다.

Preconcentration and Determination of Trace Cd(II) and Pb(II) in a Water Sample by Organic Precipitate Flotation with 8-Hydroxyquinoline

  • An organic precipitate flotation of Cd(Ⅱ) and Pb(Ⅱ) was investigated by the coprecipitation with lanthanum 8-hydroxyquinolinate. Trace amounts of Cd(Ⅱ) and Pb(Ⅱ) with a significantly large amount of La(Ⅲ) were simultaneously precipitated in a 1,000 mL sample solution with the ethanolic 8-hydroxyquinoline solution. The pH was adjusted to 9.0 with 2 M ammonia solution. The precipitates were floated with the aid of tiny nitrogen bubbles and supported by the stable foam layer of sodium lauryl sulfate. The floats were collected on the fritted glass filter by a suction. The material collected was dissolved with 5.0 mL of ethanol and 1.5 mL of concentrated nitric acid, and then diluted to 25.0 mL with a deionized water. The analytes were determined by a flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry. The recoveries of the analytes spiked in the sample were 94.8% for Pb(Ⅱ) and 92.0% for Cd(Ⅱ). This flotation technique is simple and rapid, and also applicable to the determination of trace Cd(Ⅱ) and Pb(Ⅱ) at lew ppb levels.

Viscoelastic behavior of aqueous surfactant micellar solutions

  • A cationic surfactant, cetyltrimethylammonium $\rho$-toluenesufonate (CTA$\rho$TS), forms long threadlike micelles in aqueous solution. The threadlike micelles make concentrated entanglement networks, so that the solution shows pronounced viscoelastic behavior as concentrated polymer systems do. However, a mechanism for a process responsible for the longest relaxation time of the threadlike micellar system is different from that of semi-dilute to concentrated polymer systems. The threadlike micellar system exhibits unique viscoelasticity described by a Maxwell model. The longest relaxation time of the threadlike micellar system is not a function of the concentration of CTA$\rho$TS, but changes with that of $\rho$-toluenesufonate ($\rho$$TS^{-}$) ions in the bulk aqueous phase supplied by adding sodium $\rho$-toluenesulfonate (NapTS). The rates of molecular motions in the threadlike micelles are not influenced by the concentration of $\rho$$TS^{-}$ anions, therefore, molecular motions in the threadlike micelles (micro-dynamics) are independent of the longest relaxation mechanism (macro-dynamics). A nonionic surfactant, oleyldimethylamineoxide (ODAO), forms long threadlike micelles in aqueous solution without any additives. The aqueous threadlike micellar system of ODAO also shows Maxwell type viscoelastic behavior. However, the relaxation mechanism for the longest relaxation process in the system should be different from that in the threadlike micellar systems of CTA$\rho$TS, since the system of ODAO does not contain additive anions. Because increase in the average degree of protonation of head groups of ODAO molecules in micelles due to adding hydrogen bromide causes the relaxation time remarkably longer, changes in micro-structure and micro-dynamics in the threadlike micelle are closely related to macro-dynamics in contrast with the threadlike micellar system of CTA$\rho$TS.

TTA와 TOPO를 이용한 수용액 중의 리튬이온 용매추출 (Solvent Extraction of Lithium Ion in Aqueous Solution Using TTA and TOPO)

  • 해수담수화장치에서 배출되는 농축수로부터 희소금속인 리튬을 추출하는 공정을 개발하기 위한 선행 연구로, 용매추출제 TTA와 TOPO를 사용하여 수용액 중의 리튬이온을 추출하는 연구를 수행하였다. 추출제의 농도, 유기용매의 종류, 추출액과 수용액의 비, 수용액의 pH 및 알칼리제 종류 등을 변화시키면서 리튬 이온의 용매추출에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 해수의 주요 성분인 염화나트륨의 첨가가 리튬 이온의 용매추출에 미치는 영향도 함께 조사하였다. 리튬 추출의 최적 조건은 추출제 농도는 TTA 0.02 M, TOPO 0.04 M, 유기용매는 케로센, pH는 10.2~10.6 이었으며, 알칼리제로는 암모니아 수용액을 사용한 경우 리튬이온의 추출효율이 가장 높았다. 또한 염화나트륨을 첨가하여 리튬 용매추출을 진행한 결과 염화나트륨은 리튬이온의 추출을 방해하는 것을 알 수 있었다.

이소폴리 텅스텐酸 및 그의 鹽에 關한 硏究 (Studies on the Isopolytungstic Acid and Isopolytungstates)

  • Isopolytungstic acid and it's salts, which are formed in sodium tungstate solutions, when acidified with perchloric acid, have been investigated by cryoscopic method. The results obtained are summarized as follows; It was not possible to measure the molecular weight of sodium isopolytungstates which are salthydrates, by means of cryoscopic method. Regardless of the concentration of solution, paratungstate and acid hexatungstate are formed at $H^+/WO_4^{2-}$ ratio of 1.15 and 1.50. It has been shown that isopolytungstic acid and it's salts are also formed at $H^+/WO_4^{2-}$ ratio of 1.30 and 1.90 and in highly concentrated solutions at 1.40 and 1.65.

XRD와 XRF를 이용한 무명이(無名異)의 구성 성분 연구 (A Study on the Constituents of Pyrolusitum by XRD and XRF)

  • Objectives: The aim of the study was to analyze the constituents of Pyrolusitum, which was used to eliminate static blood and inflammation, to establish the basis of clinical application. Methods: Qualitative analysis was performed by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) using the sample as a powder, and the elemental content of granular sample was measured by X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF). 1 M hydrochloric acid and 5% sodium hydroxide aqueous solution were added to observe the changing shape, respectively. Results: Qualitative analysis by XRD revealed that the Pyrolusitum samples used in the study contained quarts and kaolinite. Quantitative analysis by XRF revealed that the manganese content in the samples used in the study was 6.16% on average, while iron was contained the highest amount of 22.99%. The minor constituents include 1.08% of titanium, 0.30% of barium, 0.18% of lead, 0.06% of zirconium, 0.05% of chromium, 0.04% of zinc, 0.03% of cadnium, 0.02% of nickel, 0.01% of arsenic, 0.01% of copper, 0.01% of rubidium, 0.01% of strontium, 0.00% of molybdenum, respectively. And cobalt, which is reported to be a constituent of Pyrolusitum, was not detected at all in the samples of the study. Pyrolusitum was dissolved in dark brown when it was put into 1 M hydrochlorid acid, and there was brown precipitate when sodium hydroxide solution was added to Pyrolusitum and stirred. Conclusions: It was found that manganese and iron were the major constituents of Pyrolusitum, and it could be identified by using concentrated hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide solution.
