  • The development of information technology represented by ICBMA (IoT, Cloud, Big Data, Mobile, AI), is leading to a surge in data and a numerical and quantitative increase in data centers to accommodate it. As the data center is recognized as a social infrastructure, It is very important to identify physical security threats in advance in order to secure safety, such as responding to a terrorist attack. In this paper, we develop physical security threat breakdown structure (PS-TBS) for easy identification and classification of threats, and verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the PS-TBS through expert questionnaires. In addition, we intend to contribute to the improvement of physical security level by practical use in detailed definition on items of PS-TBS.

  • Noise originating from incipient propeller cavitation is assumed to come from a limited number of sources emitting a broadband signal. Conventional methods for cavitation localization have limitations because they cannot distinguish adjacent sound sources effectively due to low accuracy and resolution. On the other hand, sparse Bayesian learning technique demonstrates high-resolution restoration performance for sparse signals and offers greater resolution compared to conventional cavitation localization methods. In this paper, an incipient propeller cavitation localization method using sparse Bayesian learning is proposed and shown to be superior to the conventional method in terms of accuracy and resolution through experimental data from a model ship.

  • 2,6-Dinitrophenol (2,6-DNP) complexes with lanthanide series including yttrium (except Pm, Tm, and Lu) have been synthesized and their crystal structures have been analyzed by X-ray diffraction methods. Singlecrystal X-ray structure determinations have been performed at 296 K on the Ce$\rightarrow$Yb species and shown them to be isomorphous, triclinic, P1, a = 8.6558(2)$\rightarrow$8.5605(3) $\AA$, b = 11.8813(3)$\rightarrow$11.6611(4) $\AA$, c = 13.9650(3) $\rightarrow$13.8341(5) $\AA$, $\alpha$ = 73.785(1)$\rightarrow$73.531(2)o, $\beta$ = 74.730(1)→74.903(2)${^{\circ}}$, $\gamma$ = 69.124(1)→ 69.670 $(2){^{\circ}}$, V = 1266.86(5)→1221.53(7) $$\AA^{3}$$, Z = 2. In Ln(III) complexes, three 2,6-DNP ligands coordinate directly to the metal ion in the bidentate fashion. The nine coordinated Ln(III) ion forms slightly distorted tri-capped trigonal prism. There are no water molecules in the crystal lattice. The dependences of metal to ligand bond lengths are discussed on the atomic number of lanthanide elements. The thermal properties of lanthanide complexes of 2,6- DNP have also studied by TG-DTG and DSC thermal analysis methods.

  • With the development of micrototal analysis systems (${\mu}TAS$), which is a result of enhancement of MEMS technology, rapid progress has been achieved in medical and biological research. The study of lab-on-a-chip (LOC) devices, which are types of ${\mu}TAS$ and which integrate the functions of mixing and analyzing tiny amounts of samples and reagents on one chip, has actively progressed. An LOC comprises microfluidic components such as micromixers and micropumps. Because the flow in a microfluidic system is generally laminar, it is very difficult to efficiently mix and feed fluid reagents. This paper presents the design and the method of fabrication of an MHD micropump for mixing fluids. By using this micropump, fluids are simultaneously mixed and pumped; this is achieved by coupling the Lorentz force and force exerted by an electric charge moving in an electric field.

  • The GdOBr:Ce phosphor were prepared by solid state reaction using starting chemicals of $Gd_2O_3,\;CeO_2\;and\;NH_4Br$. Under 370nm UV excitation, GdOBr:Ce phosphors showed blue emission band with a spectral range of 410∼430nm. The maximum photoluminescence(PL) emission intensity was observed at 2mol% Ce content. In order to look for feasibility of application for low voltage filed emission display, cathodoluminescence(CL) of GdOBr:Ce phosphors were measured. CL emission spectra was found to be in the range of 410∼430nm, which is the same as PL spectra. The phosphors with 1mol% Ce concentration showed the maximum CL emission intensity. For the comparison of degradation property of the prepared phosphors with commercial ones, the electron beam was applied for 10min. From the result, GdOBr:Ce could be used as a blue phosphor for FED.

  • In this study, the structure and management of social group with each town, leadership with self-action and network with external organizations will be the main topic. Especially, the condition which make a communication with external organizations for localization is examined as an example of Mori village. As rice productivity has more serious problems than 1990s, many farming systems changed from rice productions to different kinds, like grapes. Particularly, this market and field started with the exchange system between local farms and cities because of the complex structure of grape circulation and increasing import for extra income. Extra income of farming is started to increase because of exchange program between local towns and cities. But, those works are concentrated on one or two leaders. It could be a burden for them. So. we need to change this into new system which the work is not concentrated to few leaders but distribute to everyone.

  • An equalization algorithm is proposed to guarantee a stable performance in fast fading channels for digital television (DTV) systems from the advanced television system committee (ATSC) standard. In channels with high Doppler shifts, the conventional equalization algorithm shows severe performance degradation. Although the conventional equalizer compensates poor channel conditions to some degree, long filter taps required to overcome long delay profiles are not suitable for fast fading channels. The Proposed sparse equalization algorithm is robust to the multipaths with long delay Profiles as well as fast fading by utilizing channel estimation and equalizer initialization. It can compensate fast fading channels with high Doppler shifts using a filter tap selection technique as well as variable step-sizes. Under the ATSC test channels, the proposed algorithm is analyzed and compared with the conventional equalizer. Although the proposed algorithm uses small number of filter taps compared to the conventional equalizer, it is stable and has the advantages of fast convergence and channel tracking.

  • Talniflumate is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), which has been used treat of rheumatoid diseases, is insoluble in water, therefore it has low bioavailability after oral administration. The purposes of this study were to prepare O/W or W/O microemulsions for solubilization of poorly water soluble drug, talniflumate and to formulate into other dosage form. For this purpose, we made O/W or W/O microemulsion with oil(soybean oil, IPM), surfactant (Cremophor $EL^{(R)}$, Tween 80) and water or propylene glycol and evaluated solubility of talniflumate. The microemulsion systems were very stable and showed transmittance above 95% without flocculation or aggregation. Especially, the solubility of talniflumate in the formulation B-1 containing 18% of isopropyl myristate and 71% of tween 80 was 10 times higher than that of other O/W microemulsions. The addition of propylene glycol and N-methylglutamine to the fomulation B-1 showed excellent capacity on the solubilization of talniflumate and the percentage was almost 2.0%. These results suggest that the microemulsion system may be promising for the solubility improvement of talniflumate.
