Study on the Electric Insulation Characteristics in a Fuel Cell Vehicle (연료전지 차량의 전기적 절연 특성에 관한 연구)

  • Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) stack power output is needed to be approximately 100 kW to meet the requirements of automotive applications. In order to secure the electric safety for drivers, passengers and mechanics, it is very important to understand phenomena of an electric insulation in a fuel cell vehicle. In this study, we studied the electric insulation properties and the insulation resistance of stack, system and vehicle in the field of fuel cell was estimated at the applied voltage of 500 V, respectively. Also we discussed the insulation factors such as the conductivity of coolant, the element of vehicle design and the intrinsic resistance of the vehicle components.

Causal-effect Analysis of Brand Equity Factors in Contract Foodservice Management Company in College and University in Incheon Area (위탁급식 전문업체의 브랜드 자산 구성 요인간 인과 관계 분석 - 인천지역 일부 대학생을 대상으로 -)

  • The purposes of this study were 1) to analyze the relationship between brand equity factors ie brand awareness, brand image, brand preference and brand loyalty and 2) to suggest the strategy for brand management of contract food service management company. The developed questionnaires were distributed to the college and university students in Incheon area from September 20 to September 24 in 2004. Total 198 questionnaires were used for the final data analysis with response rate of $82.5\%$. For the statistical analysis, the descriptive analysis, factor analysis, pearson correlation analysis, and regression analysis were conducted by using SPSS Win (10.0). The results of this study showed that the following 5 hypotheses were supported. Hypothesis 1: The brand awareness of the contract foodservice company affects positively the brand image of that. Hypothesis 2: The brand image of the contract foodservice company affects positively the brand preference of that. Hypothesis 3: The brand awareness of the contract foodservice company affects positively the brand preference of that. Hypothesis 4: The brand preference of the contract foodservice company affects positively the brand royalty of that. Hypothesis 5: The brand image of the contract foodservice company affects positively the brand loyalty of that. As a conclusion, the brand awareness has a positive effect on the brand image and brand preference significantly, so it is recommended that the contract foodservice company should focus on improving the brand awareness as a brand strategy. And the brand preference and brand image have the significant effect on the brand loyalty. Therefore the company should strive to strengthen the brand loyalty though building brand preference and brand image, because the brand loyalty brings about the customer's more visiting the foodservices, which is directly related to the profitabilities of the contract foodservice management company.

  • In the past, transmission error(T.E.) has been identified as one of the main sources of gear whine noise, which cause serious passengers irritation at high frequency. In this study, to identify the correlation of the T.E. and gear whine noise, a T.E. measuring system was developed. By comparing the T.E. and gear whine noise level, T.E. target value which can represent the gear noise was proposed. The conclusions are followed: (I) It is possible to measure T.E. of the gear pairs (II) Similar trends are observed between T.E. and gear whine noise. (III) By observing the T.E. pattern, presence of sideband noise can be predicted. (IV) Proposed T.E. target value can be adopted to the gear manufacturing for gear noise quality management.

  • Fuel cell vehicles are equipped with Pressure Relief Devices(PRDs) installed in pressure tank cylinder to prevent the explosion of the tank during a fire. PRDs are safety devices that perceive a fire and release gas in the pressure tank cylinder before it is exploded. But if the PRD does not actuate, because either the PRD fails or can't be surrounded by the flame of a fire, the tank will rupture and produce a blast wave and hydrogen fire ball. In this paper, we observed the fire behavior of actual fuel cell vehicle, comparing with that of gasoline vehicle.

  • Currently, the settlement system which is used at credit card settlement from the member store of the off-line credit card is composed of the credit card settlement terminal, the VAN company which does a settlement relay service and the credit card company. When the obstacle occurs from the credit card company, the VAN company which does a settlement relay service conducts an approval vicarious execution, but when the obstacle occurs from the VAN company, the credit card settlement service is not accomplished smoothly. The dissertation implement the credit card settlement system which receives a settlement relay service that credit card settlement terminal uses a Telegram Conversion Agent from the other VAN company when the VAN company obstacle occurs.

  • The objective of the study is to create color plan for company D based on color images of the Bloomsbury Group paintings, which is an art institute based in Bloomsbury, London, a hometown of the company, to renew the traditional brand image of the company by blending fashion and art. This study analyzed 'D's previous F/W Color planning from 2003 to 2007 through NCS to understand characteristics of company D's color planning. It considered company D's color renewal concept by looking into Bloomsbury Group's backgrounds and pieces. Based on 2008-2009 F/W color trend and the analysis result, the study suggests a color plan with reference to a case study of the company D, for which I work as a colorist. The color renewal of the company D for 2008-2009 F/W season was categorized into theme I. Bloomsbury and theme II. Charleston for planning. The following table summarizes the result of 2008-2009 F/W season color plan with focus on development of new check and print patterns. The significance of the study can be found in that it advanced beyond the color planning stage to be applied to the actual renewal. Through a renewal of an existing brand, a fashion brand can be revitalized to have distinguished competitiveness.

The Credit Card Settlement System using the Switching Agent (Switching Agent를 이용한 신용카드 결제 시스템)

  • Currently the credit card settlement system which is used from off-line credit card joining point is composed of the credit card settlement terminal, the VAN company which do settlement relay service and the credit card company. When the credit card company occurs obstacle, the service VAN company executes as proxy an approval and it controls. When the service VAN company occurs obstacle, the credit card settlement service does not become accomplished in the normality. The dissertation which it sees when the service VAN company occurs obstacle, the possibility of doing a settlement relay service from the different VAN company in order to be, proposed the credit card settlement system which uses the Switching Agent.
