In the global context, particularly in Christian nations, Christmas is considered a culturally and ethically significant time. In this study, we examine Charles Dickens' novel, "A Christmas Carol," and the celebration of Christmas in Korea. We explore the values of Christmas in Korea derived from the significance and importance of this novel. These values include repentance, empathy, compassion, and the importance of humanity. Korean Christmas is regarded as a time for practicing these values, bearing a message akin to the transformation of characters like Scrooge. Furthermore, "A Christmas Carol" conveys a message of improvement and change over time, emphasizing change and growth in Korean Christmas. People reflect on their past, correct their mistakes, nurture hope for the future, and experience personal growth and transformation. Additionally, the novel raises awareness of social injustice and inequality, offering alternatives. In Korean society, Christmas encourages the willingness to care for and help others, facilitating discussions and understanding of societal issues. For these reasons, "A Christmas Carol" is considered a culturally and ethically significant time in Korean Christmas, and the two are intertwined in various aspects. This study explores the interaction between cultural change and ethical teachings by 'A Christmas Carol' and investigates the impact of this work on Christmas culture and social change. It serves as the basis for emphasizing moral principles and humanity during the Christmas season, and this research provides suggestions for future research directions, aiming to deepen the understanding of Dickens' work and the importance of "A Christmas Carol." Through these efforts, it is expected that valuable insights into the connection between Christmas culture and moral messages will be gained. In this study, we will delve into the enduring appeal and cultural significance of "A Christmas Carol," discussing how this novel has evolved into a beloved holiday tradition and a true symbol of Christmas. We will also examine the adaptation of this novel into various media and its influence on holiday season celebrations. Insights into the impact of this novel on Korean society and its continued significance in modern times will be provided, suggesting a direction for a healthier and more desirable path for Korean society.

The implementation of Knowledge Management Systems does not guarantee knowledge sharing within organizations because knowledge sharing cannot be mandated. Although previous investigations have attempted to identify the motivational factors that facilitate knowledge sharing, the results of these studies cannot be easily applied across organizations due to the highly context specific nature of knowledge sharing. Societal culture, as well as organizational culture, affects knowledge sharing behavior. This is why successful knowledge sharing initiatives in the United States, for example, may prove ineffective in another country with a very different culture like China. Therefore, it is clearly important to understand the effects of different societal cultures on individuals' knowledge sharing behaviors. The principal objective of this study is to deepen our understanding about the impact of national culture on an individual's knowledge sharing intention. In order to achieve this goal, field data was collected from 197 employees from a variety of companies and organizations in two countries-Sweden and China. In a collectivistic culture such as China, anticipated reciprocal relationships have been shown to directly affect individuals' attitudes toward knowledge sharing, and the organizational climate has also been shown to affect subjective norms to a significant degree. Subjective norms can influence intentions to share knowledge indirectly through attitudes. In the highly individualistic culture of Sweden, one's sense of self worth and anticipated reciprocal relationships have been shown to profoundly affect individuals' attitudes towards knowledge sharing. In both countries, anticipated extrinsic rewards have been shown to exert no detectable effects on respondents' knowledge sharing attitudes, and subjective norms and organizational climate have been determined not to affect knowledge sharing intentions directly. Rather, in both cases, knowledge sharing intentions have been shown to be directly affected by attitude.

본 연구는 2008년에 개최된 제주국제관악제에 따른 관광산업이 제주지역 경제에 미치는 파급효과를 분석하고, 제주지역 사회 문화에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 제주지역 산업연관표를 활용하여, 축제 개최에 따른 관광산업의 경제적 파급효과를 분석하였고, 선행연구를 정리하여 사회통합적 측면, 정치선전적 측면, 문화발전적 측면, 산업적 측면 4부문으로 나누어 제주국제관악제가 제주지역 사회에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다.

This article focused on the environmental changes on atolls in Micronesia. First, we considered the problem. Second, we designed research that focused on the impacts of environmental changes especially in relation to globalization and global warming in the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM). The results were in accordance to the hypotheses that globalization had impacted prominently in communities on main islands and impact was lessened with increased distance from the centre. The fact that the islands are remotely situated and thus, in theory, do not have much outside influence, has not alleviated them from having societal concerns. The earth's environmental change is causing an impact on the main islands as well. This has been governed by distinctive characteristics in their geographical, regional, and contents. Moreover, they showed stronger concerns about impacts on the environment than globalization. A set of questionnaires was used as the principal assessment method to quantify the concerns relating to the environmental changes.

최근 공유가치창출(CSV: Creating Shared Value)이 초미의 관심을 끌고 있다. 이는 기존의 기업의 사회적 책임(CSR: Corporate Social Responsibility) 성과에 사회적 경제적 가치창출이라는 사회적 문제해결의 대안이 될 수 있다는 시각이 작용하기 때문이다. CSR과 CSV의 성과를 구분하여 확인하기는 어려움이 있다. 따라서 CSV 성과에 대한 실증분석 기법의 개발과 소비자의 CSV에 대한 인식 및 태도가 검증될 수 있는 방법론의 개발이 필요하다. 기업은 가치사슬의 혁신을 통한 사회문제의 해결과 더불어 경쟁우위를 점할 수 있어야 한다. 진일보한 CSV 논의가 필요한 시점으로 파악하는 까닭은 아직 CSV가 초기 연구 단계에 머물러 있는 실정이기 때문이다. 이에 본 연구는 우선적으로 CSV 의의와 필요한 배경, 기업의 사회적 책임(CSR)과 공유가치창출(CSV)의 상호비교 분석을 하였다. 더 나아가 CSV의 기존 연구의 범위가 매우 협소했던 한계점을 넘어 가치사슬에서 CSV의 필요성을 피력하고자 한다. 오늘날 다수의 기업들은 기업의 사회적 책임을 수행하기 위한 노력을 기울여 왔다. 그러나 기업의 지속성장성 측면에서 단순히 CSR의 충족만으로는 수익창출을 위한 비즈니스모델로써는 한계가 있음이 지적되었다. 하나의 대안으로 최근 공유가치창출 도입의 필요성이 제기되고 있는 것이다. 선행연구를 통해 가치사슬관점의 CSV를 경제적 사회적 문화적 가치가 기업이미지 및 기업신뢰도를 매개로 구매의도로 이어지는 인과관계를 실증분석을 통해 밝혀 보았으며 구체적인 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회적 가치와 문화적 가치는 기업이미지에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 CSV 활동을 통하여 소비자들이 해당 기업에 좋은 인상을 가질 수 있도록 하는 단초가 됨을 시사한다. 둘째, 사회적가치는 기업신뢰도에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 파악되었다. 따라서 CSV가 기업의 비용으로만 인식되는 것이 아닌 미래의 발전과 더불어 상생의 대안이 될 수 있다는 관점으로 접근해 나가야 할 것이다. 셋째, 기업이미지와 기업신뢰도 모두 구매의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. CSV 활동을 통해 기업에 대한 호의적인 평가를 유도할 수 있다는 관점에서 기업의 최종 목표인 지속적 이익창출과 연계된다는 것을 감안하여 중장기적 전략으로 접근할 필요성이 있다고 판단된다.

Korean families have been undergone tremendous changes during the past three decades with societal changes. Korean families become smaller, diverse, and multi-cultural. These family changes challenge child development research. Family is not just an intimate relationship. Family is also a structural environment, a system linking micro and macro system, an institution, and an ideology. Consequently, researchers need to pay attention to various ways family influence child development and take into account family as a whole unit. Researchers are also challenged to make a stance regarding family changes and diversity. Temporality is another important issue in studying how family development and child development interact. In terms of public policy, social services should be developed to cope with the new social risks from family changes and to mitigate a growing developmental gap among the children of families with different economic classes.

Franciso Ayala's narrative work was published in the collection "Nova novorum" (1926-1929) of Revista de Occidente, founded by $Jos{\acute{e}}$ Ortega y Gasset. The author of Cazador en el alba was well aware of the avant-garde aesthetics and hence he put into practice an artistic rupture of the traditional narrative forms of Realism. The work consists of two short stories: "Cazador en el alba" and "Erika ante el invierno". The use of metaphor, Francisco Ayala's preferred literary device (which Ortega y Gasset already emphasized in The Dehumanization of Art), reveals the influence of $Ram{\acute{o}}n$ $G{\acute{o}}mez$ de la Serna's Aphorisms. Through a metaphoric language, "Cazador en el alba" describes the life of Antonio, a soldier and peasant, who visits Madrid and confronts the urban reality of the metropolis. "Erika ante el invierno" portrays with a singular depth the solitude of a woman living in another metropolis, Berlin. The author confessed that he wrote both short stories influenced by the European avant-garde and its use of poetic imagery and metaphor, common practice at that time. However, the main purpose of this article is to reflect upon the society of the first decades of the $20^{th}$ Century: the city, the people and their lives, the societal changes, as well as the innovative perspective of the new art.

Historian Eric J. Hobsbawm once said "the task that historians have is to analyze the meanings of the past within the context of society and to track the changes and implementation." It would not be too far of a stretch to apply Hobsbawm's quote to art historian since art history, although quite specific, is still history. In addition, Hobsbaum also asserted that, "a mold called the past continuously forms the present or at least thought to be." It is my recognition that the major westernization of the last century took place under the Japanese colonization which served as the channel to usher in western art; however, the current 20thcentury Korean art history fails to recognize that the mold of the past, namely western art in this case, has formed the modern art of the present. Based on this recognition, attention was given to what lacked in the analysis of the current 20th-century Korean art history in terms of "Informel" which was identified as the turning point towards "modern art" in the Korean art history as well as the following "experimental art." My belief is that the art history of Korea has to be reassessed from, a socio-cultural perspective as well as adopting multi-level and diachronic understanding. However, the existing Korean art, especially the one between the end of 1950s to the 1970s was based on the perspective of "severance"; thus, raising the needs for the starting point of a new perspective. It is my conviction that meta perspective on writing is most essential in order to lay a solid basis for the Korean art scene to have a productive discussion. I feel the utmost necessity to reinterpret the typified history analysis and criticism which stemmed from the trauma under the Japanese colonization. The most urgent task is to avoid academic closeness and to share the research. Painting is an individual expression of the artist, but the act of expression is not free from the cultural and societal influence to which the artist belongs.

본 논문은 문화예술이 갖는 '기억의 재생과 잠재된 변화 욕구에 대한 민중들의 의지를 불러내는 매개자'로서의 기능과 역할에 주목하였다. 진보적 문화예술 활동이 광주민주화운동을 기점으로 사회변화의 기폭제가 되었다는 판단에서 이들 사이의 상관성을 살펴보고자 하였다. 다시 말해 광주민주화운동을 기점으로 조직화된 민중문화 혹은 민중예술이 한국사회의 변화에 어떠한 영향을 주었는지 확인하고자 한 것이다. 문화에 대한 정의는 너무 광범위하여 특정할 수는 없지만 여기서 문화는 5.18민주화운동이라는 특정한 사건에서 시작하여 한국 민주주의 발전이라는 사회변화의 지속 과정에 치열하게 참여했던 일련의 행위에 초점을 맞추고자 했다. 그런 점에서 민중문화운동과 민중예술인들이 한국사회의 문화를 바꾸는데 기여한 바는 충분히 평가되어야 한다고 판단한다.

K-pop 팬덤 중 중국 팬들은 지리적 인접성과 문화의 상대적 유사성으로 인해 K-pop 산업에 있어 매우 강한 소비력을 갖는 오래된 소비자 집단이다. 그러나 이러한 중국의 K-pop 팬덤에 관한 연구는 상당히 부진한 실정인데, 있다 하더라도 K-pop 제작자 혹은 생산자의 입장에서 기술된 연구가 많아, 관객이자 소비자인 중국인 팬들의 입장을 충분히 반영한 연구는 심각하게 부족한 상황이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 현상학적 연구방법을 채택하여 심층 인터뷰 및 참여관찰을 통해 K-pop의 관객이자 소비자인 중국 팬들의 팬덤 경험을 톺아보았다. 이를 통해 중국 팬들의 심리적 특성과 행위적 특성, 그리고 격동하는 외부환경에 대한 팬들의 대응에 대해 살펴보았으며, 그들의 입장에서 K-pop 문화의 발전에 관한 기대와 의견을 살펴보았다. 연구결과 K-pop 문화와 산업의 발전에 있어 주체적 개인으로서의 팬(independent fan)과 상호의존적 집단으로서의 팬덤(interdependent fandom)의 역할과 그 영향력을 확인하였다. 아울러 팬들과 K-pop 아티스트, 그리고 기획사/소속사 간의 소통 및 신뢰의 구축을 촉진하는 기획사/소속사의 퍼실리테이터(facilitator)로서의 역할이 중요함을 강조하였다.
