The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between types of self-care activities and demand of agro-healing services in adults with disabilities. Data were obtained from a survey of 160 adults with disabilities dwelling in Korea and SPSS 25.0 software was used for frequency, descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis. The main results applying the Behavioral Model for vulnerable populations were as follows: 1) among the different types of their self-care activities, the mean of passive perceptions score was 1.13(SD=0.81), the mean of physical behaviors score was 3.01(SD=1.04), the mean of social relationships score was 1.40(SD=1.42) and the mean of agro-healing services utilization per year was 4.30(SD=2.55), 2) passive perceptions and social relationships in their self-care activities positively affected demand of agro-healing services, 3) age, perceived physical health, perceived mental health, region of adults with disabilities were also significantly associated with demand of agro-healing services. Based on these results, practical and political implications for promoting self-care activities and agro-healing services in adults with disabilities were discussed.
BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Sustainable practices in foodservice organizations including commercial and noncommercial ones are critical to ensure the protection of the environment for the future. With the rapid growth of the foodservice industry, wiser usage of input sources such as food, utilities, and single use packaging should be reconsidered for future generations. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the customer's perceptions on sustainable practices and to identify the relationship among sustainable practices, social contribution and purchase intention. SUBJECTS/METHODS: The study was conducted using content analyses by reviewing articles on sustainable food service practices published domestically and abroad. Thereafter, data were collected with a face-to-face survey using a questionnaire and analyzed with factor analyses and multiple regressions. RESULTS: Sustainable practices classified with factor analysis consisted of 6 dimensions of green food material procurement, sustainable food preparation, green packaging, preservation of energy, waste management, and public relations on green activity, with a total of 25 green activities in foodservice operations. Consumers were not very familiar with the green activities implemented in the foodservice unit, with the lowest awareness of "green food material procurement (2.46 out of 5 points)", and the highest awareness of "green packaging (3.74)" and "waste management (3.28). The factors influencing the perception of social contribution by foodservice organizations among 6 sustainable practice dimensions were found to be public relations on green activity (${\beta}=0.154$), waste management (${\beta}=0.204$) and sustainable food preparation (${\beta}=0.183$). Green packaging (${\beta}=0.107$) and the social contribution of the foodservice organization (${\beta}=0.761$) had strong relationships with the image of the organization. The purchase intentions of customers was affected only by the foodservice image (${\beta}=0.775$). CONCLUSIONS: The results of this study suggest that sustainable practices by foodservice organization present a good image to customers and increase the awareness of valuable contributions that benefit the customer as well as the community.

This study investigates passenger-authored online reviews of airline services using social network analysis to compare the differences in customer perceptions between full service carriers (FSCs) and low cost carriers (LCCs). While deriving words with high frequency and weight matrix based on the text analysis for FSCs and LCCs respectively, we analyze the semantic network (betweenness centrality, eigenvector centrality, degree centrality) to compare the degree of connection between words in online reviews of each airline types using the social network analysis. Then we compare the words with high frequency and the connection degree to gauge their influences in the network. Moreover, we group eight clusters for FSCs and LCCs using the convergence of iterated correlations (CONCOR) analysis. Using the resultant clusters, we match the clusters to dimensions of two types of service quality models ($Gr{\ddot{o}}nroos$, Brady & Cronin (B&C)) to compare the airline service quality and determine which model fits better. From the semantic network analysis, FSCs are mainly related to inflight service words and LCCs are primarily related to the ground service words. The CONCOR analysis reveals that FSCs are mainly related to the dimension of outcome quality in $Gr{\ddot{o}}nroos$ model, but evenly distributed to the dimensions in B&C model. On the other hand, LCCs are primarily related to the dimensions of process quality in both $Gr{\ddot{o}}nroos$ and B&C models. From the CONCOR analysis, we also observe that B&C model fits better than $Gr{\ddot{o}}nroos$ model for the airline service because the former model can capture passenger perceptions more specifically than the latter model can.
The purpose of this paper is to analyze social phenomena and perceptions by collecting and analyzing data on public opinion, views and trends related to special case of military service in the sports community through Big KINDS operated by the Korea Press Promotion Foundation. To this end, the related keywords were derived and visualized by implementing a LDA(latent dirichlet allocation) technique to derive problems found in social phenomena based on big data analysis. The topics derived include "re-lighting special case on military service," " military service corruption controversy," "special case of military service for athletes," "alternative military service system for artists " and "parliamentary inspection of the administration" This could be used as a basic data for identifying accurate information on social controversies related to special case of military service in the sports community and drawing up practical measures that are considered in line with the principle of just and equal burden.

This study was attempted to examine our perceptions, which are required as our society prepares for a multicultural society, targeting college students who are in charge of the future of a multicultural society, and to propose specific ways of changing what and how. A survey was conducted on college students taking the same liberal arts course four times each semester in 2018 and 2019, and a total of 299 survey data were used to analyze the results, excluding 6 insufficient surveys. As a result of the analysis, it was found that migrants had a negative image when they were younger or had no foreign experience. Regarding the factors of cognition of migrants, social distancing and cognitive flexibility were found to be more intimate with migrants when they were older, but were more concerned about social issues. Finally, in terms of the conditions for accreditation of migrants to Koreans, it can be seen that social welfare majors agree with the conditions for recognizing migrants as Koreans in much more categories than those with mixed majors. Based on these results, several practical methods that can be applied to college students who need to prepare to lead a multicultural society were proposed.
This study aims to examine the effects of users' perceptions of COVID-19 risk on their seeking and processing of relevant information as COVID-19 emerges and spreads worldwide in 2019. We apply the risk information seeking and processing model (RISP Model) to verify whether users' COVID-19 related information seeking and processing behaviors have a positive effect on their preventive and information sharing behaviors. To achieve this research goal, an online survey was conducted with about 400 of social media users. The users' perceptions of risk for COVID-19 increased their perceived insufficiency of COVID-19 information. In addition, the perceived insufficiency of users' information formed a positive relationship with seeking and searching of information behaviors. The processing of COVID-19 related information has increased related preventive behaviors and sharing of information through social media. While searching for information related to COVID-19 prompted personal information sharing behaviors, it did not significantly affect preventive behaviors. Accordingly, in order to promote COVID-19 preventive behaviors as well as overall user health-related behaviors it can be inferred that additional measures are needed in addition to pursuing relevant information.

Background: The death rate of workers due to industrial accidents in South Korea (3.61 persons in 2017) is higher than the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development average (2.43) and the fifth highest among Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development member countries. Although the pandemic of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has changed, the socioeconomic aspects of Korean society, the number of Koreans suffering accidents and the number of deaths in 2020 have increased. It is necessary to take measures to prevent accidents and make comprehensive efforts to return to work. This study proposes research questions about the effect of workers' positive perception on whether to work after accidents and the impact of the experience of rehabilitation services on the return to work. Methods: This research performed a panel logistic regression analysis using data on workers' compensation insurance in Korea for two years (2018-2019). Results: This research finds that workers' positive perceptions of workability and life satisfaction contributed affirmatively to their re-employment. Several factors related to employment (e.g., work period, the number of job qualifications) also positively affect their return to work. However, the experience of rehabilitation services did not have a significant effect on re-employment. The variables of their health conditions (e.g., disability grade, feelings of health problems, age) negatively influenced their return to jobs. Conclusion: These results suggest the importance of workers' mental recovery and the need to innovate rehabilitation services for their employment. Positive thinking and self-rehabilitation could be critical for workers, parallel with social welfare policies.
Purpose: This study aimed to derive considerations for the enactment of nursing law by analyzing the trends and social perceptions of nursing law mentioned in major daily newspapers, cafes, and blogs. Methods: Main texts and comments that included nursing law as a keyword were collected from major daily news and online postings from January 2021 to August 2022. The data collected through web crawling were analyzed using a TousFlux program used for big data analysis. Results: During the period of study, the awareness level around nursing law enactment increased. In particular, public concern over nursing law enactment intensified due to the two political parties' policy pledges related to nursing law in January 2022 and the failure to introduce the nursing law to the national assembly judiciary committee in May 2022. Except in December 2021, public perception of nursing law enactment was generally favorable, with public opinion tilting more in favor of than against enactment. Conclusion: Public opinion should be considered when drafting and implementing the nursing law to make it easier for the people to understand what the law constitutes. In addition, it is necessary to pay attention to and continuously promote the relationship between medical care and nursing in the nursing law system of developed nations. Lastly, nursing law enactment can enhance nurses' retention intention and provide a sense of efficacy to medical services.
