In this paper, we propose a method to reduce mobile social network services (SNSs) traffic using a mobile integrated SNS gateway (MISG) to improve network communication performance between the mobile client and SNS servers. The gateway connects the client and SNS servers using the contents adapter and the web service adapter and helps to improve communication performance using its cache engine. An integrated SNS application, the user's client, communicates with the gateway server using integrated SNS protocol. In addition, the gateway can alert the client to new SNS contents because of the broker server implemented by the message queuing telemetry transport protocol. We design and develop the modules of the gateway server and the integrated SNS application. We then measure the performance of MISG in terms of content response time and describe the result of the experiment.

A SNS(Social Networking Service) is an online platform to build social networks or social relations among people who, for example, share free communication, information, and make more personal connections. In this paper, we find representative entities, develop relationships among them, and draw an ERD based on the entities and their relationships. And then we design a SNS database schema by converting the ERD into collections according to data model of MongoDB, which is an NoSQL database.

With technological and cultural changes around web and mobile networks, SNS would be considered as an important tool for information sharing. Especially, SNS represented Facebook and Twitter is being new paradigm for communication. This study seeks to methods to provide a service user participation and cooperation and expands use and access to archival information service through SNS. To achieve the goals, this study proposed a method to provide effective archival information service through literature research. Also, the proposed service was implemented with system design and components.

With the proliferation of smartphones and 5G networks, mobile social network service (SNS) has become an indispensable part of people's daily lives. However, with the use of SNS, fatigue and withdrawal behavior gradually emerged. Based on The Transactional Theory of Stress and Coping (TTSC), we explored the mechanism of SNS overload on users' discontinuous intention under the framework of "stressor-strain-outcome". And we also investigated the moderating effects of gender in this process. We hope that through our research, we can help SNS users to reduce unnecessary fatigue, and provide better suggestions for platform designers to adjust product design to improve user experience.
Hundreds of millions of new posts and information are being uploaded and propagated everyday on Online Social Networks(OSN) like Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram. This paper proposes and implements a GPS-location based SNS data mapping, analysis, and visualization system, called Smart SNS Map, which collects SNS data from Twitter and Instagram using hundreds of PlanetLab nodes distributed across the globe. Like no other previous systems, our system uniquely supports a variety of functions, including GPS-location based mapping of collected tweets and Instagram photos, keyword-based tweet or photo searching, real-time heat-map visualization of tweets and instagram photos, sentiment analysis, word cloud visualization, etc. Overall, a system like this, admittedly still in a prototype phase though, is expected to serve a role as a sort of social weather station sooner or later, which will help people understand what are happening around the SNS users, systems, society, and how they feel about them, as well as how they change over time and/or space.
The purpose of this study was to examine how recently fashion corporate did use SNS applications for their product promotion strategies as case studies, and to provide what kinds of SNS marketing strategies would be developed for fashion corporate. Specifically, this study was focused on Twitter among SNS applications. For this study, Internet webs, news paper, articles, and other press work were used for resources. Five fashion corporate such as Buckaroo, MLB, North Faces, Kolon, and ABC Mart were analyzed. As the results, first, fashion corporate used Twitter as the marketing tool for their product promotion. Second, they tried to make an increase the numbers of Twitter follower from their customers. Third, Twitter was used for making higher customer loyalty by fashion corporate through a variety of program such as special events, game, music, or viral marketing. However, there were still some limitations on fashion corporate's Twitter usage, compared to other non-fashion corporate. Thus, fashion corporate needs to provide more creative and unique Twitter marketing strategies. Therefore, based on these results, fashion brand merchandising marketing strategies of fashion products would be provided from this study.

As social network service(SNS) environments have been changed and increased, people perceive SNSs as a part of their daily lives. Therefore mutual communication activities based on the Internet and its influences are expanding continuously. This paper explored the difference between consumers' emotional well-being level and social capital formed through SNSs. Given that the reason of using SNS and its utilization can be different depending on consumers, this paper also examines generation differences. Hence, we examine how the forms of emotional well-being and social capital in SNSs can be different according to each generation. We conducted a survey targeting the consumers who have an experience of using online SNS and looked into the effects of emotional well-being and social capital among generations using eighty three valid samples. In this study, we find that there are differences on the effects of the sizes and the types of social capital formed through SNS, depending on the generations. In particular, the size of social capital from younger generation was larger compared to the older generation and bridging social capital, one of social capital types, was also bigger in the younger generation compared to the older generation. Although general emotional well-being was not differentiated among the generations, we could find a generation difference by showing that older generation's negative well-being, one of emotional well-being types, was more sensitive than younger generation. Based on such results, this paper proposes SNS utilization plan sub-divided by generations, suggesting management direction of online social networks.

On the IoT-based sensor networks, users or sensor nodes must perform a Service Discovery (SD) procedure before access to the wanted service. Current approach uses a center-concentrated Resource Directory (RD) servers or P2P technique, but these can cause a point-of-failure or flooding of SD messages. In this paper, we proposes an improved SWoT SD approach for CoAP-based sensor networks, which integrates Social Web of Things (SWoT) concept to current CoAP-based SD approach that makes up for weak points of existing systems. This new approach can perform a function like a keyword or location-based search originated from SNS, which can enhances the usability. Finally, we implemented a real system to evaluate.

This study investigated the semantic network based on the focus of the fashion image and SNS text utilized by global SPA brands on the last seven years in terms of the quantity and quality of data generated by the fast-changing fashion trends and fashion content-based media environment. The research method relocated frequency, density and repetitive key words as well as visualized algorithms using the UCINET 6.347 program and the overall classification of the text related to fashion images on social networks used by global SPA brands. The conclusions of the study are as follows. A common aspect of global SPA brands is that by looking at the basis of text extraction on SNS, exposure through image of products is considered important for sales. The following is a discriminatory aspect of global SPA brands. First, ZARA consistently exposes marketing using a variety of professions and nationalities to SNS. Second, UNIQLO's correlation exposes its collaboration promotion to SNS while steadily exposing basic items. Third, in the case of H&M, some discriminatory results were found with other brands in connectivity with each cluster category that showed remarkably independent results.
Recently, the popularity of Social Network Service (SNS) along with the spread of smart phone, personal computer and tablet PC helps personal network to construct new forms of services in cyberspace. As such, SNS plays a significant role in constructing diverse online networks and there is a growing interest on SNS at societal level. In this vein, the purpose of the research was to find the factors affecting the continuance intention to use social network services. The major findings are summarized as follows. First, "System Quality", "Contents Quality", "Personal Innovativeness", "Self-Efficiency", "Honor Benefit" has significant effects on "Relationship Quality". Yet, "Economic Benefit" is not statistically significant on "Relationship Quality". Second, "Relationship Quality" has a significant effect on "Continuous Usage Intention". Last, our research discovered the relationship between exogenous variables which would serve as valuable inputs in the development of strategic guideline and plan for SNS companies and related services.
