Anatomizing Slots of Social Casino: Focus on Slotomania (소셜 카지노의 슬롯 해부하기: Slotomania를 중심으로)

  • This study anatomizes various traits of slots in Slotomania, the most popular online slot game in the world. Developed by Playtika, Slotomania is a social casino genre game that runs over Facebook. Slotomania has been the number one as a title in the social casino genre, and this study multi-dimensionally analyzes various characteristics of slots that exist in the game. Specifically, it analyzes factors of 1) User Interface(UI) 2) Theme 3) Payline & Betting 4) Structure & Symbol 5) Bonus 6) Additional Traits. As a reuslt, it reports that there is "diversity". Therefore, it not only researches how and why those slots are attractive to people but also explores the market of social casino based on Facebook.

Effects of Self-disclosing Agents (자기노출 에이전트의 효과)

  • The importance of interface agent as user interface increases in the ubiquitous computing environment. It is essential that an interface agent can develop social relationship with users. We propose that self-disclosure, a major factor to form and maintain human relationship, can be useful to achieve this goal. This study examined the effects of the degree of a computer agent's self-disclosure on the users' social responses. The experiment was conducted in a 2(intimacy of agent's disclosure: high vs. low) by 2(amount of agent's disclosure: high vs. low) between-group design. The results show that: 1) reciprocity of self-disclosure was found in both sub-dimensions (intimacy and amount) of self-disclosure; 2) in case that participants received highly intimate self-disclosure from the agent, social attraction, trustworthiness and expectation of mutual influence toward agent were lower than when the agent's disclosure was less intimate. These findings suggest that the intimacy of agent's self-disclosure can affect on gathering user information and human-agent relationship formation separately. While agent's highly intimate disclosure can be useful to gather user information, agent's appropriate disclosure can be useful to form positive user-agent relationship.

  • The purpose of this research is creating the visualization platform of the user interface to make able to be provide the demanded service while users communication with surrounding space in a smart city environment. This comes from the latest enhanced interface technology and social media, and it uses the shares information to support the proper interface environment according to a life style and spatial properties. "EzCity" which is the user interface platform suggested in this research, can control the enormous amount of public data for the smart city. The core module of user platform is made up with Public data module, Interface module, Visualization module and Service module. The role of this platform is to be provide "Geo-Intelligent Interface Service" for space users to access the data in easier and more practical interface environment. This reinforces the visualization process for data collecting, systematization, visualization and providing service. Also this will be expected to be the base to solve the problem which complexity and rapidly increasing amount of data.

  • Recently, social network service (SNS) is actively used by public. Among them, Twitter has a lot of tweets including sentiment and it is convenient to collect data through open Aplication Programming Interface (API). In this paper, we analyze social issues and suggest the possibility of using them in marketing through sentimental information of users. In this paper, we collect twitter text about social issues and classify as positive or negative by sentiment classifier to provide qualitative analysis. We provide a quantitative analysis by analyzing the correlation between the number of like and retweet of each tweet. As a result of the qualitative analysis, we suggest solutions to attract the interest of the public or consumers. As a result of the quantitative analysis, we conclude that the positive tweet should be brief to attract the users' attention on the Twitter. As future work, we will continue to analyze various social issues.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine how the interface between "place of work" and "place of living" in the housing sphere has changed, and to understand its social background. During the korean modernization period, changes in economic structure toward industry has an influence on many aspects of modem life in addition to occupations. The traditional mixing of heterogeneous activities in the home-such as between reproduction and household affairs, first changed into a coexistence of two spaces with different functions within the boundaries of home, and finally into a spatial separation between functions in an urban dimension. As a result of this process, the primary role of the modem home is as a place for relaxation without work. One important kind of home, in which a retail shop is integrated with it, was researched as a transitional form. Its spatial layout showed a various combined usage of both spaces. In conclusion, changes in relevant macro-social aspects are very concretely reflected m the function and spatial organization of the home.

  • As COVID-19, which occurred at the end of 2019, has become a global pandemic, it has emerged as an unprecedented event that quickly destroys a nation's medical and healthcare system in both developed and developing countries. In the 21st century, most of the civil society that aimed for hyperconnected society is facing a new crisis that has not been experienced so far. Indeed, lack of personal protective equipment, isolation of clustered communities, disruption of medical systems necessary for diagnosis and treatment, and disruption of educational and economic activities due to social isolation are emerging. Since the COVID-19 has occurred, many of the difficulties that have occurred in the past six months indicate the basic infrastructure a society should have particularly in a pandemic. These include personal protective equipment (PPE), decontamination and quarantine tools essential for effective response, rapid and precise large-scale diagnosis, medical devices required for patient care, and identification and fast and wide on-line networks that can be used in social isolation. In this first part, we would like to introduce some representative examples of 1) personal protective equipment, 2) prevention of personal and community health, 3) social response through big data and networks within the framework of appropriate technology.

  • Unauthorized generations and sales of non-funable tokens (NFTs) without the consent of the creator is one of the biggest problems that arise in NFT Marketplaces. This study proposes a method to practically reduce the problem of NFT sales without the consent of the creator by means of authentication with social media accounts. Through the proposed method, creators who are already using social media as a means of communication and marketing for creative activities can authenticate with their own accounts. Creators who have difficulty authenticating with their own accounts will be provided with alternatives to authenticate using human networks. In addition, the proposed method of protecting creator rights was designed using a flowchart to enable development using only the public API (Application Programming Interface) provided by social media. The proposed method can protect creators' rights and reduce damage caused by NFT fraud by inducing buyers to trade NFTs of authorized sellers through social media.

  • With the huge tendency of users toward online web sites, many issues regarding the user behavior interacting with these websites are yet still underestimated and not addressed in all aspects from software developers or business organizations. In this paper, we solely focus on the usability analysis of social network websites to enhance and improve the use of these social websites for more effective and motivational interaction. We use T-Model procedure as a mechanism of this research. Subjects with variation of expertise are contributed to the research of this paper. Minor quantitative analysis will be employed to test the hypothetical of this research in the further research. Result and its implications will be discussed profoundly at the end of this research.

  • This paper reports a noble instrument that helps physically disabled people to access computers. There have been numerous attempts to develop such a methodology, but most of them require an additional space for workstation often including access program installation. The additional space also needs to be carefully designed to consider each specific disabled area. This study aims to develop a system that removes the spacial limitation by putting the integrated computer interface using the wheelchair controller. The implementation of the computer workstation is performed by utilizing an USB interface. The developed equipment will take an important role to support various social lives for the users and eventually to improve their quality of life.

An Empirical Study on the Factors Affecting Continuance Intention to Use of Online Distance Learning of Airline Department Collegue Students : Focused on Post-Acceptance Model (항공과 대학생들의 실시간 온라인 원격수업의 지속사용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 : 후기수용모델을 중심으로)

  • Due to spread of covid-19, which began in December 2019, the usage of online distance learning has expanded within colleges. However, because of the lack of readiness for running online distance learning, professors and students had to experience a lot of inconvenience. In the near future, the usage of online distance learnig is expected to more expand, thus, it seems that there should be a strategies for sustainable online learning operations. This study aims to investigate which factors have impact on the continuance intention to usage of online distance learning of airline department students, focused on Post-Acceptance Model. For the empirical analysis, this study utilized a structural equation model after collecting 136 survey data. The results is as follow; First, user interface has positive impact on confirmation and confirmation has positive impact on satisfaction of online distance learning. Seconds, confirmation has positive impact on perceived usefulness, flow and social presence. Third, social presence has positive impact on satisfaction of online distance learning, but perceived usefulness and flow didn't have statistically meaningful impact on satisfaction. Finally, statisfaction of online distance learning has huge positive impact on continuance intention to usage. It is expected that the implications of this study enable colleges effectively to run online distance learning in preparation for the post-covid 19 era.
