This study aims to introduce the ENACT model, which is a systematic teaching-learning model for cultivating social responsibility of science and engineering college students, and to discuss its educational implications. For the development of the ENACT model, we conducted extensive literature reviews on RRI, STEM education, and science and technology studies (STS). In addition, we examined exemplary overseas education programs emphasizing social responsibility of scientists/engineers and citizens. The ENACT model consists of five steps; 1) Engage in SSIs, 2) Navigate SSIs, 3) Anticipate consequences, 4) Conduct scientific and engineering practice, and 5) Take action. This model links Socioscientific Issues (SSI) education with engineering education, dividing the major elements of social responsibility education for scientists and engineers into the dimensions of epistemology and praxis, and reflected them in the model. This effort enables science and engineering college students to pursue more responsible and sustainable development by carrying out the responsible problem-solving process based on an understanding of the nature of science and technology. We plan to implement ENACT model based programs for science and engineering college students and to examine the effects.

본 연구는 청소년의 아동학대 경험이 학교폭력 가해행동에 미치는 과정을 사회발달모델(Social Development Model)에 근거하여 부모애착, 학교유대감, 비행친구접촉의 매개변인으로 구성된 경로모형을 제시하고 이를 구조방정식모형으로 검증하였다. 이를 위해 2012년 10월 15일~11월 25일까지 서울 및 경기지역 50개 중학교에 재학 중인 남 여 청소년을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 회수된 설문지 1,836부 중 응답이 부실한 59부와 부모가 없거나 한부모라고 응답한 214부를 제외한 총 1,563부의 자료가 최종분석에 사용되었다. 분석결과, 청소년의 학대경험은 학교폭력 가해행동에 직접적인 영향을 미칠 뿐만 아니라, 부모애착, 학교유대감, 비행친구접촉의 매개변수를 통해 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 청소년의 학교폭력을 효과적으로 예방하기 위한 실천 및 정책방안이 논의되었다.

Social networking applications (SNAs) are among the fastest growing web applications of recent years. In this paper, we propose a causal model to assess the success of SNAs, grounded on DeLone and McLean's updated information systems (IS) success model. In addition to their original three dimensions of quality, i.e., system quality, information quality and service quality, we propose that a fourth dimension - networking quality - contributes to SNA success. We empirically examined the proposed research model with a survey of 168 Facebook and 149 Twitter users. The data validates the significant role of networking quality in determining the focal SNA's success. The theoretical and practical implications are discussed.

Objective: Sow longevity is important for efficient and profitable pig farming. Recently, there has been an increasing interest in social genetic effect (SGE) of pigs on stress-tolerance and behavior. The present study aimed to estimate genetic correlations among average daily gain (ADG), stayability (STAY), and number of piglets born alive at the first parity (NBA1) in Korean Yorkshire pigs, using a model including SGE. Methods: The phenotypic records of ADG and reproductive traits of 33,120 and 11,654 pigs, respectively, were evaluated. The variances and (co) variances of the studied traits were estimated by a multi-trait animal model applying the Bayesian with linear-threshold models using Gibbs sampling. Results: The direct and SGEs on ADG had a significantly negative (-0.30) and neutral (0.04) genetic relationship with STAY, respectively. In addition, the genetic correlation between the social effects on ADG and NBA1 tended to be positive (0.27), unlike the direct effects (-0.04). The genetic correlation of the total effect on ADG with that of STAY was negative (-0.23) but non-significant, owing to the social effect. Conclusion: These results suggested that total genetic effect on growth in the SGE model might reduce the negative effect on sow longevity because of the growth potential of pigs. We recommend including social effects as selection criteria in breeding programs to obtain satisfactory genetic changes in both growth and longevity.

The purpose of this study is to develop instruction model of environmental problem process focused with environmental justice. This study has analyzed environmental problem solution process in social studies of elementary school from 4th grade to 6th grade with it. The results of this study are as follows. First, social studies of elementary school didn't show distributive justice in environmental problem solving process. Second, procedural justice existed, but offered information is lacking to each main group. Third, substantive justice was emphasized personal viewpoint. We developed instruction model of environmental problem solving process based upon the results. Component of instruction model is problem analysis, distributive justice, procedural justice, substantive justice and evaluating a solution. Timely, teachers can use and can apply it in social studies class. In conclusion, it is strongly recommend to teach environmental education linked with environmental justice. It enables us enhance a new awareness and attitudes towards sustainable development.

본 논문은 국가간 사회복지수준을 비교하는 기준으로서 경제수준과 사회수준 중 후자가 보다 적절한 기준임을 밝혀냈다. 또한 사회복지지출이 많은 나라들일수록 사회수준이 경제수준보다 높은 경향을 보였는데 이는 경제성장 위주의 정책보다는 사회 각 부문의 균형적 발전을 통한 보편적 삶의 질, 즉 사회수준 향상이 사회복지수준 향상에 중요한 요인임을 제시하는 결과였다. 한국의 사회복지수준은 우리의 경제, 사회수준을 고려한 기대수준보다 현저히 낮다는 기존의 사실을 다시 한번 확인하였다. 이러한 결과를 근거로 보편적 삶의 질과 빈곤층의 삶의 질 수준과의 격차를 해소하여 권리로서의 사회복지를 실현하는 것이 시급한 과제라는 것과 사회수준 자체의 향상을 통해 사회복지에 대한 국민적 관심을 증가시키고, 사회복지부문간 격차, 즉 사회보험과 공공부조와의 현격한 차이를 줄이는 정책이 필요하다는 점을 제시하였다.

The development of social enterprise is rapidly emerging trend in Europe. Social enterprises are businesses with a social purpose working. There is no single legal model for social enterprise. There are many social enterprises operating in a wide range of industries from farmers markets and recycling companies to transport providers and childcare. This study is purposed to a ripple effects of development of a golf course in rural area analyzed to site suitability, social impact of public opinions, and economical impact. And for study, it is setting up development model of gamaksan golf course in geochang-gun will be constructed. It is carried out those as follows;(1) it is, first of all, examined site suitability considering act and site factors, opinion of residence's, and development planning of geochang-gun;(2) it is, secondly, suggested to analyzed social-economic impacts in rual area;(3) it is, finally, established an alternative proposal for development of a golf course considering it's merits and faults. The result of study, A appropriateness of development planning in golf course is focused to 'regional planning integrated', 'educational program for It's', and 'development council committee' considering harmony of a specialist, residents, government employee, businessman for a identity of interests.
