국내 치위생(학)과의 교양교육과정 비교 (Comparison of liberal arts curricula between three year and four year dental hygiene departments in Korea)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to compare the liberal arts curricula of domestic 3 year and 4 year dental hygiene departments and to obtain the basic data for the development of a standardized dental hygiene curriculum. Methods: The liberal arts curricula of fifteen 3 year and 4 year dental hygiene departments in Korea and other countries were analyzed. A survey was conducted on 801 selected dental hygiene majors from December 8 to 12, 2014. A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 750 dental hygiene students and 150 dental hygiene professors. The questionnaire consisted of 5 questions of general characteristics and 13 questions including curricula change, usability of curricula, awareness of the suitability of dental hygiene curricula, and validity of curricula. Cronbach'a alpha was 0.71 in this study. Results: The grade point average in the liberal arts courses in Korean 4 year dental hygiene departments were 29, which was higher than that in 3 year dental hygiene departments of 13.2. There were large disparities among the colleges in the credits of these courses. The most common liberal arts courses in 4 year dental hygiene departments were foreign languages, man, society and communication, and natural science. In 3 year dental hygiene departments, English and foreign languages were the most common courses, followed by computer, man and society, philosophy and ethics. Foreign languages were considered to be the liberal arts course that should be most strengthened according to the job environment change of dental hygienist in globalizing society, followed by social psychology and pedagogy. Conclusions: Liberal arts courses were offered in the 4 year dental hygiene departments than in the 3 year dental hygiene departments in Korea, but there were a great deal of differences between colleges. The preparation of standardized guidelines on liberal arts courses are necessary. Liberal arts courses should support the performance skill and knowledge of the dental hygienists.

사고와 아차사고 경험에 따른 원청과 협력업체 근로자 간 안전문화 인식 비교 (Comparison of Safety Culture Awareness between Client and Subcontractors' Employees according to the Experience of Accidents and Near Misses)

  • This study analyzes the impact that accidents and near misses have on clients' and contractors' awareness of safety culture. Due to the unique characteristic of employment structure in Korea, the occurrence of accidents differs by company size, which has relevant implications for the establishment of safety culture. Attention has been drawn to the importance of the management of accidents and near misses, with safety awareness acting as a core factor. A positive effect on the prevention of accidents could be achieved by noting the difference in safety awareness between clients and contractors and suggesting an associated suitable safety management system. In support of this study, a survey was distributed to workers in the automobile manufacturing industry (May-August 2020), and data from a total of 574 workers was collected and analyzed, including 399 clients' worksers and 175 contractors' workers. The questionnaire addressed participants' experiences of accidents and near misses as well as 50 items from the Nordic Occupational Safety Climate Questionnaire. Analysis of the responses was conducted using the methods of frequency analysis, Fisher's exact test, t-test, correlation analysis, and regression analysis. The results demonstrated that clients had more experiences with accidents and near misses compared to contractors. Additional differences between clients and contractors were noted in terms of the safety culture factors of learning, communication, and trust. A correlation was observed between the experience of accidents and safety justice management: for clients and contractors who experienced accidents, safety justice management was 9.4 times higher. Furthermore, clients' and contractors' awareness of employees' commitment to safety was determined to be 28.5 times higher in those who had experienced near misses This study concludes that, in order to improve accident prevention through the management of accidents and near misses, clients must focus on overseeing safety justice management and aspects of safety culture factors, while contractors must focus efforts on managing employees' commitment to safety. In further applications, this study could provide baseline data for health and safety activities in terms of the safety culture of clients and contractors. Further study on the establishment of safety culture as related to employment structure is proposed for future research.

Assessment of Public Engagement Approach in Various Project Stages: The Case Study of Central Market, Hong Kong

  • The present research evaluates the public engagement approach in various project stages. Hong Kong had long been criticized as top-down and executive-led jurisdiction by overlooking the importance of cultural heritage and public concerns on public projects. It was suggested to the government to engage public and provide sufficient public consultation. Thereby, the government announced a series of revitalization and conversion measures in Policy Address in 2008. To carry out the measures, there were voices, because of diverse and sometimes conflicting interests, over the effect of revitalization project. On the other hand, studies reveal that there are benefits of revitalization and enhancement of public engagement approach. In pursuit of the subject, the present research aims at studying the Central Market as a case study pilot project. In October 2009, the Policy Address announced that the Central Market be revitalized. Tasked to implement the project, Urban Renewal Authority (URA) continued to adopt the people-oriented approach as the guiding principle in its core business and in heritage preservation and revitalization so as to create a sustainable development. Between government and the public, URA acts as a bridge for communication. As between URA and the public, URA conducted public consultation, set up an ad-hoc committee in January 2016 to be in charge of the project and will continuously inform the government and public with the updates and project progress. The main objectives of the present research are to assess the advantages and challenges in different stages of public engagement approach, to evaluate the engagement system, to give a comprehensive view for participation of stakeholders, and to find out effective strategies to enhance civil engagement. Research was achieved through interviews to key persons in the project, questionnaire that was distributed to community and experts in the field. Case Study of the Central Market was studied and investigated using different sources, such as newspapers, journals, etc, to evaluate the degree of public engagement in the project. Both detailed qualitative methodological approaches of interview, questionnaire, and case study, act as a synergy to demonstrate the research objectives and provide the comprehensive perceptions on the revitalization project. The results show that public participants in revitalized project have generated considerable value enhancements to social-cultural, environmental, political and economic aspect. This study provides valuable insights that the public participation can make positive contribution to sustainability in the city. The findings indicate that no any single system is flawless therefore seeking both public opinions and professional advices are also important as a comprehensive approach to achieve higher sustainability of the building.

The Effect of Personality Type on Human Performance Tool Compliance and General Recommendations for Enhancement of the its Practical Utilization

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of personality type on human performance tool compliance in nuclear power plants (NPPs) and to propose general recommendations for an enhancement of its practical utilization. Background: Various guidelines, regulating criteria, and recommendations have been developed to prevent human errors in NPPs. Despite these efforts, the accidents sometimes caused by human errors have steadily occurred, and therefore, various human performance tools have been adopted as countermeasures against human errors. The major and inevitable contributing factors among the many hazards to human errors might be the trait and personality, which are considered to be the inner world of humans. Thus, we try to investigate the utilization of human performance tools by considering the different types of operating crew personalities, and we suggested more practical recommendations to prevent human errors according to the personality. Method: We developed the Questionnaire using the Big 6 (HEXACO) models, which are human performance tools for workers in NPPs, and individual (condition) variables to investigate the effect of personality types on human performance tools. We slightly modified them to help the survey respondents understand them better. A survey was conducted for ordinary people over the age of 20. SPSS 22.0 was used to perform a correlation analysis and a hierarchical regression analysis to find the relationship between personality types and human performance tools. Results: The utilization of human performance tools shows significant differences statistically by personality. The correlation result reveals that the types of Honesty (H), Extraversion (X), Conscientiousness (C), and Openness to experience (O) show a higher utilization of human performance tools. In hierarchical regression results, human performance tools of task preview, questioning attitude, stopping when unsure, self-checking, effective communication, and place-keeping show a higher utilization with personality types. However, the Agreeableness (A) type did not show significant differences statistically with human performance tools. Conclusion: We tried to investigate the utilization of human performance tools by considering the different types of human personality and provide more practical recommendations to prevent human errors according to the personality. These results will be able to prevent human errors owing to the characteristics (advantages and disadvantages) of personality types. Application: This information can be utilized as guidelines for proactive recommendations according to the workers' personalities for more practical human performance tools to prevent human errors in an NPP.

스트레스해소법에 따른 한부모가정 부모의 스트레스와 생활만족도와의 관계 연구 - 중부권 소도시를 중심으로 - (A Research on Relationships between Stress Level of Parents in Single Parent Families and Life Satisfaction in accordance with Stress Removing Methods - Centering on Small Towns in Midsection Sphere -)

  • 본 연구는 스트레스해소법에 따른 한부모가정 부모의 스트레스와 생활만족도와의 관계를 파악하고자 한다. 연구대상은 2013년 3월1일부터 7월31일까지 중부권 소도시를 중심으로 한부모가정 부모 260명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 자료분석은 빈도분석, 요인분석, t-test, 일원변량분석, 상관분석, 회귀분석을 실시하였으며, 실증분석은 유의수준 5%에서 검증하였다. 연구결과 스트레스는 경제, 신체, 사회 및 일상, 가족, 심리요인 순으로 높게 나타났고, 스트레스요인의 해소법과 조절효과에 따른 해소정도가 생활만족도에 유의미한 영향을 나타냈다. 그리고 하위요인은 재정, 정서, 인지적 순으로 유의미하게 나타났다. 연구의 시사점은 생활만족도 증진에 스트레스해소법이 유의미함으로, 한부모가정 부모에 대한 기초적인 지원정책수립과 프로그램개발의 자료가 될 것으로 사료된다.

유교유산을 활용한 관광문화복지 구현에 대한 연구 - 유교건물을 중심으로 - (Study on the Realization of Tourism Culture Welfare by Using Confucius Heritage - Based on Confucian Buildings -)

  • 본 연구는 유교유산을 활용한 관광문화복지 구현에 대한 연구를 하고자 한다. 연구대상은 2014년 6월13일부터 11월7일까지 영월군의 향교, 서원, 누정을 대상으로 실태 및 면접조사를 실시하였다. 자료분석은 척도문항을 중심으로 현장조사, 건물소유자와 관리자의 심층면접을 실시하였으며, 과학적 탐구과정을 거쳐서 판단하고 분석하였다. 분석결과는 첫째, 역사적 배경은 문화재적 가치로 매우 귀중한 지역의 관광 및 문화복지 자산인 것으로 파악되었다. 둘째, 향교와 서원은 전통유교문화형식을 보이고 있으나, 누정건축에서는 보기 드문 특색을 나타내고 있어 특화된 사회적 관광자원화가 요구된다. 셋째, 유교유산에 대한 관광문화복지 자원화가 아직은 미흡한 실정으로 파악 되므로 이에 대한 마케팅강화와 프로그램의 개발과 운용이 절실하다. 본 연구의 시사점은 유교문화의 계승과 현대적 재해석이 필요하며, 이를 토대로 유교문화와 현대문화를 아우르는 디지털관광으로의 발상전환 그리고 지역과 상생하는 관광문화복지 정책의 연구가 이루어져야 할 것으로 사료된다.

Effects of Foodservice Franchise's Online Advertising and E-WOM on Trust, Commitment and Loyalty

  • Purpose: One of the characteristics of service companies such as foodservice franchise is that it is easy to imitate, so many brands can imitate the menu that is popular with consumers. Therefore, foodservice franchise company should develop a brand that customers can identify from other brands in order differentiate it from its competitors. In order make the foodservice franchise company identifiable from other brands, it is possible through communication with customers. Therefore, this study proposes a new research model to analyze customer loyalty through online advertising and online word of mouth trust and immersion. Online was provided to customers through a mixture of advertisements and word of mouth, but previous studies have only considered online advertisements or online word of mouth. In addition, we want to verify the difference according to gender, which is an important variable in researching the online information processing behavior of customers. Research design, data, and methodology: The questionnaire of this study was surveyed on 20 years of age or older who have visited the restaurant franchise store within the last 3 months among the foodservice franchise companies operating SNS. During the survey period, 400 surveys were surveyed for a total of 20 days from April 1 to April 20, 2020. Result: The research results are as follows. First, in this study, the effect of online advertisement and online word of mouth on trust and immersion was studied. Second, this study verified the social influence theory in online advertising and online word of mouth. Third, the effect of online advertising and online word of mouth on loyalty according to gender was verified. Fourth, compared to existing advertisements, online advertisements are suitable for marketing by foodservice franchise companies because they can interact with consumers, modify advertisements immediately, execute extensive advertisements at low cost, segment the market, and measure advertisement effectiveness. The recent online expansion has been expanded to mobile-based, allowing foodservice franchisees to provide new communication services such as SMS (Short Message Service), multimedia messaging services, and location-based services. Fifth, a foodservice franchise company can increase brand awareness through online marketing or induce the use of offline stores. Sixth, franchisor can grow into a sustainable company only when they use resources efficiently. Conclusions: Trust is important in foodservice franchise information. This trust has a significant impact on customer commitment and loyalty.

중국 관광객의 온라인 구전에 대한 자아일치성과 기능일치성의 효과: 자기해석의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Effects of Self-Congruity and Functional Congruity on e-WOM: The Moderating Role of Self-Construal in Tourism)

  • 목적 자아일치성(self-congruity)은 "비실용 대상 포지셔닝(Non-utilitarian destination positioning)" 이론에 근거한 것으로,소비자들이 의사결정을 하거나 행동을 할 때 대상(제품, 서비스 등)과 자신의 가치를 일치시키려는 성향을 의미한다. 반면, 기능일치성(functional congruity)은 대상(장소, 제품, 서비스)의 실용적 가치에 자신의 의사결정이나 행동을 일치시키려는 성향을 의미한다. 최근 모바일 기반의 소셜네트워크서비스를 통해 소비자들이 제품이나 서비스에 대한 개인적 경험을 언제 어디서나 공유하게 되면서 온라인 구전을 통한 커뮤니케이션 기회가 많아지고 활발해지고 있다. 한편, 자기해석(self-construal)은 마케팅 및 현대 심리학에서 그동안 많이 다루어져 온 주제이다. 본 연구는 자아일치성 및 기능일치성과 중국 관광객의 긍정적인 온라인 구전 간의 관계와 자기해석의 조절효과를 검증하는 것을 연구 목적으로 한다. 설계/방법론/접근 연구가설을 검증하기 위해 본 연구에서는 32개 문항으로 구성된 설문지를 개발하였고, 모든 항목은 리커트 5점 척도를 사용하였다. 중국 설문조사 전문 웹사이트인 sojump.com에서 한국을 방문한적이 있는 사용자들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 자료분석을 위해 SPSS 20.0과 AMOS 18.0을 사용하였고, 구조방정식과 회귀분석을 이용하여 연구가설을 검증하였다. 전반적인 모형의 적합도, 신뢰도, 타당성 등을 검증하기 위해 확인요인분석을 실시하였고, 동일방법편의(common method bias) 여부도 함께 진단하였다. 결과 연구결과 자아일치성과 기능일치성은 온라인 구전에 긍정적인 효과를 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 자아일치성이 온라인 구전에 미치는 효과는 독립적인 자기해석 성향이 있는 중국 관광객이 의존적인 자기해석 성향이 있는 중국 관광객보다 더 강하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 반면, 기능일치성이 온라인 구전에 미치는 효과는 의존적인 자기해석 성향이 있는 중국 관광객이 독립적인 자기해석 성향이 있는 중국 관광객보다 더 강하다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

국제결혼 이주여성 건강관련 선행연구 분석 (An Analysis of Articles for International Marriage Immigrant Women Related to Health)

  • 본 연구는 국제결혼이주여성을 대상으로 다양한 학문분야에서 발표된 건강관련 선행연구 분석을 통하여 현재까지 진행된 연구들의 경향을 파악하고자 시도하였다. 국제결혼 이주여성을 대상으로 2004년 6월부터 2009년 6월까지 최근 6년간 발표된 국내 학회지 논문 및 학위논문 60편을 연구대상으로 선정하여 연구대상 논문의 일반적 특성, 저자의 전공분야, 건강영역별 주제어와 변수 및 주요변수의 측정도구를 분석하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 국제결혼이주여성 대상 논문 중 51편(84.9%)이 2007년 이후 발표되었으며, 발표형태는 석사논문 43편(71.7%)이 가장 높게 나타났다. 연구대상 논문 중 학회지 발표는 13편으로 한국가족복지학(3편, 23.1%)에 가장 많은 논문이 게재되었고, 석사학위논문은 사회복지학전공자가 25편(53.2%)으로 가장 많았다. 건강영역별로는 건강영역 2편(3.3%), 사회적 건강영역 18편(30.0%), 정신적 건강영역 36편(60.0%), 신체적 건강영역 4편(6.7%)이었다. 건강영역별 주제어는 사회적 건강영역에서의 주제어는 '적응'과 '의사소통' 2개이며, 정신적 건강영역의 주제어는 '결혼만족', '생활만족', '사회적지지', '스트레스', '우울', '부부갈등', '갈등' 등 7개였으며, 신체적 건강영역의 주제어는 '의료서비스기관 이용'과 '건강증진행위'로 나타났다. 연구대상 논문의 건강영역별 주제어에 따른 변수를 살펴보면, 건강영역 주제어의 변수는 삶의 질 2개, 사회적 건강영역의 주제어에 따른 변수는 적응 16개, 의사소통 5개이며, 정신적 건강영역 주제어 중 결혼만족 25개, 생활만족 11개, 사회적지지 3개, 스트레스 9개, 우울 25개, 부부갈등 25개였으며, 신체적 건강영역의 주제어에 따른 변수는 의료서비스기관 이용 6개, 건강증진행위 5개로 나타났다. 가장 많은 변수가 사용된 주제어는 변수가 25개인 결혼만족, 우울, 부부갈등으로 나타났다. 연구대상 논문의 건강영역별 주제어에 따른 주요변수의 측정도구 중 2회 이상 사용된 측정도구만을 제시한 결과, 건강 영역에서 주제어 '삶의 질'의 측정도구는 Campbell(1976)과 보건복지부(2005), 사회적 건강영역에서는 주제어 '적응'의 변수 중 문화적응의 측정도구 Sandhu & Asrabadi (1994), 정신적 건강영역에서는 주제어 '우울'의 변수 중 문화적응스트레스 측정도구 Sandhu와 Asrabadi(1994)가 가장 많이 사용되었다. 결론적으로 국제결혼 이주여성을 대상으로 한 논문은 최근 다양한 학문분야에서 다양한 주제들로 연구되고 있으나 대부분이 한국 내 정착과 관련된 근본적인 문제만을 다루고 있다. 그러나 국제결혼 이주여성에게 쉽게 적응하기 어려운 타문화권의 생활은 신체적, 정신적, 사회적 불건강상태를 초래할 수 있다. 즉, 본 연구의 주제어에서 알 수 있듯이 국제결혼 이주여성과 가족들에게 잠재적인 건강문제가 발생할 수 있음을 예측할 수 있다. 따라서 국제결혼 이주여성들의 한국 내 적응과정을 돕고 2차적으로 발생할 수 있는 건강문제를 예방하기 위하여 건강과 관련된 다각적인 연구 및 건강관리 방향을 모색할 필요가 있다고 사료된다.

자연학습원 옥외 환경교육 프로그램 설계를 위한 연구 -중학생을 위한 프로그램 다양화를 중심으로- (Outdoor/Environmental Education Program Design in the Nature Study Center - The Program Diversification for the Middle School Students -)

  • The purpose of this study is to search for the ways to diversify Outdoor/Environmental Education Program in the Nature Study Center(NSC), especially for the middle school students. For this study, various research methods such as literature review, questionnaire survey (448 students, 11 middle school teachers, 19 NSC staffs), interview and participant observation are used the process of this study consists of two steps. The first step is to define research questions through pilot survey and the second is to investigate the research questions, in the form of hypotheses through main survey. Nine hypotheses are formulated. Six are related with program elements (educational goals, student characteristics, staff resources, teaching methods, instructional resources, contents). three are related with program implementation process(preplan, implementation, post-evaluation). The hypotheses are tested and alternatives for program improvement are proposed. 1. Educational goals : Educational goals of NSC should be focused on Outdoor /Environmental Education and each NSC should specialize on its own theme. The objectives of every sub-program should be unified toward educational goals. 2. Student characteristics: The Outdoor/Environmental Education Program should reflect student characteristics: sex, urban/rural origins, normal/handicapped, number of visit and so on. 3. Staff resources : Provide qualified staff with professional knowledge and positive attitudes, reeducate staffs periodically, reduce management staff and increase teaching staffs. Provide permanent and well paid position, encourage and give opportunities and the middle school teachers to participate in program. 4. teaching method: Increase outdoor classes two way communication between teaching staffs and students adopt more open ended teaching method so that students can exercise coworks in small groups. 5. Instructional resources: Diversify NSC sites(mountains, coastal areas, urban areas and so on), teaching media (audio/visual equipments, graphic design of signs). Consider design for handicapped and integrate indoor and outdoor educational facilities. Plan nature trails with separate themes, allign nature trail so that it passes through diverse environments. 6. Content : Reflect characteristic site potential specialize on day or night program, on seasonal program, and on site specific social issues(such as interpreting of environmental damages around the NSCs). 7. Preplan: Get Information and know about visiting students in advance. Discuss with middle school teachers and adjust program weeks before visits if many or all of the students had already visited a NSC. arrange a visit to other NSC. Provide an introductory class for the teachers and students before they visit a NSC. 8. Implementation: During NSC visit and classes apply various and appropriate techniques to collect in formation for later evaluation. Improve NSC provided evaluation sheet so as to reflect student characteristic. Compare with formal education and investigate on effects of NSC program. 9. Post-evaluation: Formalize a post-evaluation process and organization. During the winter vacation, develop new programs based on the post-evaluationacation, for the next year. Also, have comparative evaluation meetings of staff from various NSCs during the winter vacation while there is no visitors and classes.
