Changes in Dogs' Social Behavior Toward Humans

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate dogs' sociality toward human strangers in the absence of an owner by analyzing changes in dogs' behavior during a task of making eye contact with an experimenter to obtain snacks. A total of 17 dogs were divided into groups of high sociality (HS; n = 10, 4.4 ± 3.87 years) and low-sociality (LS; n = 7, 3.71 ± 2.06 years). A comparison of the average frequency of five behavioral types-fear-appeasement behaviors (P<0.001), sociability-related behaviors (P<0.001), stress-related behaviors (P<0.05), destruction (P < 0.001), and vocalization (P < 0.001)-between the groups showed a significant difference in all five categories. Together, these results suggest that dogs with high sociality are less exposed to various stresses and have a higher ability to adapt to new environments than dogs with low sociality. This can predict dogs' adaptability to a new environment and positive outcomes in their daily life with the owner.

Military leadership must contribute desirable civil-military relationship This study will suggest the direction about military leadership for desirable civil-military relationship. Now political issues about military intervention to the government are almost settled, but the worry about complications between military and civilians exist in the part of low issues like policy-making. Another important issues is military leadership about the style of social-being. In recent years, social change is very complex and speedy like global networking and diversity, leadership environment also, changed like leadership paradigm shift. Military leadership must be examined from the principle to the context of social integration At the present age, individual soldier is citizen in uniformed. Also military leadership must to seek the principle in the citizen mind like citizenship. Another charactristics of present day military is influence of high technogy. For the high-tech war military need the transition about science and technology from the whole society. In the context of above the development of military leadership are suggested as follows. First, the development of military control leadership must besought to the context of cooperation between government and military. Government must provide the system to strengthen military professionals in the process of policy-making about national security Second, military leadership must embody the important social values through the advanced military making, Third, military leadership must provide the adaptability to the society through the military education of their soldiers Forth, military leadership must be contributed to the social integration and to the growing up individual soldiers like their socialization and their achievement. Five, an important subject of military leadership is the creation of desirable military culture through the harmony of social culture and military culture.

청소년의 가족기능.사회적 지지와 지각된 어머니 사랑간의 관계연구 (A Study on the Correlations between Family Function, Social Support And perceived Mother's Love in the Adolescents)

  • Purpose: This study was to find out the correlations amongst family function. social support. and the perceived mother's love in the adolescents. Method: The study subjects were 171 adolescents of whom 43 were middle school students and 128 were high school students. The data consisted of general characteristics. family function. social support and perceived mother's love. The data were analyzed by frequency. mean. percentage. t-test. ANOVA and the Pearson's correlation using the SPSS statistical program. Result: 1. The mean score of the family function in the adolescents was 3.09 (maximum score: 5) and the mean score of cohesion was 3.23 and the mean score of adaptability was 2.94. There were significant differences in the family function according to grade and family type. 2. The mean score of the social support in the adolescents was 2.86 (maximum score: 5) and there was significant difference in the social support according to the fathers occupation. 3. The mean score of the perceived mother's love in the adolescents was 3.57 (maximum score: 5) and there were significant differences in the perceived mother's love according to grade. existence of the mother, the mother's occupation and adolescent's health state. 4. There were positive correlations between the family function, social support and the perceived mother's love. Conclusion: The above results suggest that there is a need to develop social support program for the adolescents in the low economic status. Further, a comprehensive program should be developed to relieve the problems of the adolescents considering the family function. social support and perceived mother's love.

도시 홍수 취약성의 공간적 분포 - 서울 지역을 중심으로 - (Spatial Patterns of Urban Flood Vulnerability in Seoul)

  • 연구는 최근 5년간(2006~2010) 서울시 행정동 단위별로 도시 홍수를 유발하는 기후요인, 홍수에 노출된 정도를 나타내는 민감도, 홍수피해를 저감하는 능력을 나타내는 적응도 요소들을 종합한 서울 도심지역의 홍수 취약도 지수의 공간적 분포 특징을 밝히고자 하였다. IPCC(Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) 취약성 모델에 기반을 둔 상관성 분석 결과 서울 도심의 홍수피해 건수는 여러 홍수취약성 관련 변수 중 빗물저류조 용량, 1일 최대강우량, 빗물펌프장 토출량 등과 높은 상관관계를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 서울 도심지역의 홍수 취약도 공간분포도를 분석한 결과 안양천과 중랑천 등 도심하천 주변의 광범위한 행정동 지역에서는 공통적으로 높은 민감도가 홍수 취약도를 높이는 주요 요인임을 알 수 있었다. 특히, 중랑천 주변지역은 높은 민감도 이외에도 높은 기후요인에 의해 홍수 취약도가 높게 나타남을 알 수 있다. 국지적으로 홍수 취약성이 높게 나타난 강동구와 송파구 일부 행정동 지역에서는 적응도가 낮아 홍수 취약도가 높게 나타났고, 강남구 일부 행정동 지역에서는 극한강수현상과 같은 기후요인과 민감도가 높아 홍수 취약도가 상대적으로 높게 나타나고 있다. 이러한 고해상도 행정구역인 행정동 단위에서 도출된 홍수 취약성 분포도는 도심 내부의 지역별 적합한 홍수 대응, 관리 및 예방 정책을 수립하는 데 유용한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

A Strategies for Using Smartphone as a Social Real Life Tools for Students with Developmental Disabilities

  • 본 연구는 스마트폰 사용이 활성화된 사회 환경 속에서 발달장애 학생이 스마트폰 애플리케이션을 사회 실생활 도구로 효과적으로 활용할 수 있는 방안에 관해 '발달장애 학생, 정보사회, 스마트폰 사용, 애플리케이션 활용' 주제 관련 선행연구 문헌들을 검토하여 다음과 같이 살펴보았다. 첫째, 정보사회를 살아가는 발달장애 학생의 스마트폰을 활용한 사회통합 능력 향상 지원 방안을 기술한다. 둘째, 발달장애 학생의 사회 실생활을 지원해 줄 수 있는 스마트폰 애플리케이션 유형을 기술한다. 셋째, 발달장애 학생의 사회 실생활 적응을 위한 스마트폰 애플리케이션 요구 영역을 기술한다. 이 연구 결과는 발달장애 학생이 정보사회에서 스마트폰의 다양한 기능을 익히고 배워 이용함으로써 주변 사람들과 상호교류하여 의사소통능력을 향상시키고 직업재활과 사회통합에 도움이 되도록 적절한 애플리케이션을 개발하여 교육적으로 지원, 제공하는 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

호텔요리전공 특성화고등학생들의 사회적 학습 성취도가 요리전공만족도에 미치는 영향 (An effects on social maturity in satisfaction with the academic major of high school students majoring in culinary arts)

  • 본 연구는 요리전공 고등학생들의 요리전공에 선택적 속성과 사회적으로 성숙함의 영향관계는 통계적으로 유의한 관계를 나타났으며, 요리전공의 선택적 속성은 구성원관계 친화력에 영향을 미치며 요리전공 선택적 요인은 사회적으로 유대감과 자기 능력관리에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 요리전공 결정 선택과정은 학교생활의 월등한 적응력에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 요리전공 고등학교 학생들의 사회적 성숙과 전공에 대한 만족도의 영향관계는 모델의 가설에 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났으며, 구성원 관계적 친화력과 사회적 친밀감은 개설교과과정 모델참여에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 사회적 성숙도는 사회적 친밀감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

의과대학 학업부적응 학생의 심리사회적 특성과 체계적 지원방안에 대한 탐색 (Exploring the Psychosocial Characteristics and Systematic Support of Academically Maladjusted Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the psychosocial characteristics of academically maladjusted students and the College's current status regarding academic maladjustment based on 4-year medical student cohort data collected from 2018 to 2021 and through interviews with 10 medical education experts using the integrated research method. This study included 223 students who consented to inclusion in the student cohort and participated in the emotional behavior test and college adaptability test of whom 65 students experienced academic maladjustment. Academically maladjusted students had significantly higher scores for social stress, anxiety, sense of inadequacy, attention, hyperactivity, and school maladjustment, and significantly lower scores for relationships with parents, interpersonal relationships, self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-strength. Academic and social integrity, emotional stability, university satisfaction, and university service satisfaction were all significantly lower in the academically maladjusted students than in the non-maladjusted group. The expert interviews indicated that academic maladjustment was mainly recognized as a personal problem, with causes such as lack of motivation and learning methods, vulnerability to stress, lack of social relationships and alienation, lack of support from the family, and insufficient resilience. Systematic support other than counseling for academically maladjusted students is required, and an early diagnosis and preventive intervention are important.

청소년의 스마트폰 과다사용이 학교적응에 미치는 영향: 사회적 지지와 자기통제력을 매개변수로 (The Influence of Excessive Use of Smartphone on School Adaptation of Among Adolescents: Mediating Effects of Social Support and Self-control)

  • 본 연구는 청소년의 스마트폰 과다사용과 학교적응간의 구조적 관계를 살펴봄으로써 청소년의 건전한 스마트폰 이용에 유용한 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 B지역에 위치한 초·중·고등학생들 중 스마트폰을 사용하고 있는 학생 900명을 대상으로 2014년 9월부터 10월까지 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문은 총 891부가 수거되었고 불성실하게 응답한 설문 25부를 제외한 866부를 분석에 활용하였다. 통계분석 프로그램으로는 SPSS 20.0과 Amos 18.0을 활용하였으며 연구가설을 검증하기 위하여 구조방정식모형을 적용하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 스마트폰 과다사용과 학교적응의 관계는 유의하지 않았다. 둘째, 스마트폰 과다사용과 사회적 지지의 관계는 유의한 영향력이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 스마트폰 과다사용과 자기통제력의 관계에서도 유의한 영향력이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 청소년의 사회적 지지와 자기통제력 모두 학교적응에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 스마트폰 과다사용과 학교적응의 관계에서 사회적지지 및 자기통제력은 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 청소년들의 학교적응력을 높이기 위해서는 자기통제력을 확대시키고, 가족관계의 친밀성과 상호지지를 확장하면서 사회적 지지체계를 확고히 하는 노력이 필요하다.

집단 사회적지지와 개별 사회적지지가 천식아동 가족의 부담감과 가족기능에 미치는 영향 (Comparision of Group and Individual Social Support on Burden and Family Functioning in Families with Asthmatic Children)

  • The main purpose of this study was to identify the effects of group social support and individual social support on the reduction of burden and improvement in family functioning of families with asthmatic children. The design of this study was a randomized pre-posttest quasi-experimental design to compare the two experimental groups. The theoretical framework for this study was derived from the study of burden in family caregivers by Suh and Oh (1993) based on the main effect model of social support theories. The data were collected from February 12, 1998 to May 29, 1998 at the pediatric out patient department of a university hospital located in Suwon city. The sample consisted of 39 family members who were identified as families with asthmatic children, Eighteen subjects were randomly assigned to the group social support group and 21 were assigned to the individual social support group. Group and individual social support members were seen for 60 to 90 minutes, four times over one to three weeks. The instruments used in this study were the Burden Scale developed by Suh & Oh(1993), the Visual Analogue Scale, and the Family Adaptability Cohesion Evaluation Scale(FACES-III) developed by Olson, Portner, and Lavee(1985). The collected data were analyzed using Mann-Whitney test, x$^2$-test, Wilcoxon sign rank test, t-test, ANOVA (Scheff), Pearson correlation coefficient. multiple regression, and social support process and content analysis. The results are as follow : 1. There was no significant difference before the experimental treatment among the subjects in the group social support group and individual social support group for general characteristics, burden, or family functioning. 2. Hypothesis 1 : “There will be a greater reduction on the burden score of the group social support group compared to the individual social support group” was not statistically significant(U=174.5, p=.683). The burden scores showed a significant decrease after participation in social support as compared to before participation for both groups. However there was a tendency for more reduction in the burden scores for the group social support than for individual social support. 3. Hypothesis 2 : “There will be a greater improvement in the family functioning scores for the group social support group compared to the individual social support group” was not statistically significant(U=153.0. p=.309). There was a tendency toward improvement in the family functioning scores of the group social support as compared to that of the individual social support. 4. According to the length of the treatment period, families with asthmatic children displayed affirmative responses, and the families set up a self-help group of mothers with asthmatic children in order to share their experiences, to get information and to solve their problems. In conclusion, it was found that group social support was the more effective nursing intervention for reducing burden and for improving family functioning of families with asthmatic children.

다문화가정 아동의 이중문화특성 및 사회적 자본이 심리적 적응에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Bicultural Characteristics and Social Capital on Psycological Adaptation)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 다문화가정 아동의 이중문화특성 및 사회적 자본이 우울 및 자존감의 심리적 적응에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 데 있다. 조사대상자는 서울 등 7개의 대도시지역의 어머니가 결혼이주여성인 초등학교 3~6학년, 중1~3학년 아동 305명, 그의 어머니 295명이다. 회귀분석 결과, 다문화가정 아동의 우울감에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보면, 친구 지지가 낮을수록, 이용한 프로그램 수가 많을수록, 주관적 경제수준이 낮다고 생각할수록 우울감이 더 높게 나타났고, 이 중 친구 지지가 가장 강력한 요인으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자존감에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 살펴보면 친구지지가 가장 강력한 영향요인으로 나타났고 다음으로 어머니의 한국어 수준, 교사지지, 이용한 프로그램 수 등의 순으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 다문화가족 아동의 심리적응을 높이기 위한 개입 시 이중문화특성과 사회적 자본 특성을 고려해야 하며 특히 친구지지나 교사지지와 같은 사회적 자본 특성을 반영한 개입이 필요함을 보여준다.
