  • Smartphones store a vast amount of personal data, including photos, but they are not organized, making it difficult for users to quickly find necessary information. Therefore, this paper proposed and implemented a system Visualize Me By Photo that makes photos in smartphones into a knowledge graph and easily searches for photos. Using artificial intelligence technology, the knowledge graph was generated by extracting up to 53 types of knowledge from the photos and establishing the relationship between the photo and knowledge in the photo. In addition, this paper implemented a focusing search function that searches for other photos by drawing circles in a specific area of the image and natural language search for easy search. In conclusion, this study has greatly facilitated photo searches as well as the management of photos on smartphones by construction of a knowledge graph of photos.

  • In this paper, we validate the practicality of the OnePIC app implemented in the previous study by analyzing the execution and storage performance. The OnePIC app is a camera app that allows you to get a photo with a desired focus after taking photos focused on various places. To evaluate performance, we analyzed distance focus shooting time and object focus shooting time in detail. The performance evaluation was measured on actual smartphone. Distance focus shooting time for 5 photos was around 0.84 seconds, the object detection time was around 0.19 seconds regardless of the number of objects and object focus shooting time for 5 photos was around 4.84 seconds. When we compared the size of a single All-in-JPEG file that stores multi-focus photos to the size of the JPEG files stored individually, there was no significant benefit in storage space because the All-in-JPEG file size was subtly reduced. However, All-in-JPEG has the great advantage of managing multi-focus photos. Finally, we conclude that the OnePIC app is practical in terms of shooting time, photo storage size, and management.

  • The technology of estimating a movement trajectory using a monocular camera such as a smartphone and composing a surrounding 3D image is key not only in indoor positioning but also in the metaverse service. The most important thing in this technique is to estimate the coordinates of the moving camera center. In this paper, a new algorithm for geometrically estimating the moving distance is proposed. The coordinates of the 3D object point are obtained from the first and second photos, and the movement distance vector is obtained using the matching feature points of the first and third photos. Then, while moving the coordinates of the origin of the third camera, a position where the 3D object point and the feature point of the third picture coincide is obtained. Its possibility and accuracy were verified by applying it to actual continuous image data.

  • Currently, it is almost impossible to move the focus of a previously taken photo to a different location. This paper challenges a technology that can move the focus of a captured photo to another location after shooting. To achieve this goal, this paper proposed and implemented a method for taking photos with various focuses at the moment the camera took pictures and storing them in a single JPEG file to extract photos focused on the user's preferred location. In this paper, two methods are implemented: taking various photos by quickly moving the focal length of the lens from close to far away, and taking various photos focused on each object by recognizing objects in the camera viewfinder. Various photos taken are stored in a single JPEG to maintain compatibility with traditional photo viewers. At this time, this JPEG file used the All-in-JPEG format proposed in previous research to store a variety of images. This paper verified its practicality by implementing these technologies in an Android app named OnePIC.

  • Camera performance of smartphone recently has been developed as much as the digital camera. Interest in applications As a result, many people take pictures and the number of people who are interested in application according to photos has been steadily increasing. However, there are only synthesis programs which are arraying some photos, overlapping multiple images. The model proposed in this paper, base on the emotion that is extracted from the facial expressions by combining the background and applying effects filters. And it can be also utilized in various fields more than any other synthesis programs.

  • Widely used around the world, smartphones contain many features and can store content such as contacts, photos, and videos. Information that can be leaked in proportion to the information that the smartphone can store has also been increased. In recent years, accidents such as personal information leakage have occurred frequently. Personal information leakage is happening in the Android environment, which accounts for more than half of the smartphone operating system market share. Analyzing malicious apps that leak information can tell you how to prevent information leakage. Malicious apps that leak information will send importantinformation to the hacker's (C & C) server, which will use network communication. Malicious apps that are emerging nowadays encrypt and transmit important information through SSL communication. In this case, it is difficult to knowwhat kind of information is exposed to network. Therefore, we suggest a method to analyze malicious apps when leak important information through SSL communication. In this paper, we identify the way malicious apps leak information. And we propose a method for analyzing information leaked by SSL communication. Data before encryption was confirmed in the device through SSL hooking and SSL Strip method.

  • The SPR (Single Photo Resection) is widely used as a method of estimating the EOPs (Exterior Orientation parameters) at the time of taking a photograph, but it requires an initial value and has a disadvantage of being sensitive to the initial value. In this study, we introduce quaternion-based single photo resection and PnP (Perspective-n-Point) algorithm that do not require initial values and compare the results. Photos were taken using a general smartphone, and the ground control point acquisition was based on the hybrid MMS (Mobile Mapping System) point cloud data possessed by the researchers. As a result, when the collinear condition based SPR is true value, quaternion-based SPR has higher attitude angle estimation accuracy than PnP algorithm. In case of camera position estimation, both algorithms showed accuracy within 0.8m when compared with ground control points.

  • Drone photogrammetry generally acquires images vertically or obliquely from above, so when photographing for the purpose of three-dimensional modeling, image matching for the ground of a building and spatial accuracy of point cloud data are poor, resulting in poor 3D mesh completeness. Therefore, to overcome this, this study analyzed the spatial accuracy of each drone image by acquiring smartphone images from the ground, and evaluated the accuracy improvement and completeness of 3D mesh when the smartphone image is not combined with the drone image. As a result of the study, the horizontal (x,y) accuracy of drone photogrammetry was about 1/200,000, similar to that of traditional photogrammetry. In addition, it was analyzed that the accuracy according to the photographing method was more affected by the photographing angle of the object than the increase in the number of photos. In the case of the smartphone image combination, the accuracy was not significantly affected, but the completeness of the 3D mesh was able to obtain a 3D mesh of about LoD3 that satisfies the digital twin city standard. Therefore, it is judged that it can be sufficiently used to build a 3D model for digital twin city by combining drone images and smartphones or DSLR images taken on the ground.

  • Smartphone usage has become so common that it has reached 2 billion people in the last year. As a result of this, hospitals have started making use of smartphones at various medical sites and research services for patients. This study aimed to establish support for developing a long distance program for patients with implants who have difficulty visiting clinics or with busy modern lives, by using smartphones for oral hygiene management instruction. The data were collected for 12 weeks, from July 24 to October 21, 2015, for patients who agreed to participate in the study. Although the subjects found the process of transferring photos via smartphone to be cumbersome (75%), the satisfaction level of the oral hygiene management program was excellent for all participating patients, and they all wanted to continue with further management using this process. The results from the phone satisfaction survey showed that oral hygiene self-management after oral hygiene control training by smartphones was mostly equal to previous habits (87.5%) or had partially increased but had not decreased. The need for data on more varied age groups and the issues of protecting the security of personal information on smartphones require further study. However, our study confirmed the efficacy of using electronic media (smartphones) for oral hygiene management in patients with a dental implant due to their improvement of oral hygiene performance as evidenced by less bleeding from probing on post-program visit.
