  • With the rapid growth of the internet, Social Network Services (SNSs) have played an important role. As the use of SNSs increases, users experience a sense of responsibility to respond to other people's messages or requests, and consequently experience an social overload, feeling too much social support for other users. In this study, we examined the effects of social overload on loneliness and SNS discontinuous usage intention. To verify the research model, data were collected from 83 SNS users and analyzed using SmartPLS, a structural equation modeling tool. The results of this study showed that the communal orientation and the degree of use of SNS influenced the social overload, and the social overload had a significant effect on loneliness and SNS discontinuous usage intention. The findings of this study are expected to help understand the social overload and loneliness in the use of SNS, and may also provide a strategic direction for SNS service providers.

  • This study investigated factors affecting the use intention of podcast service users based on the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT). Performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating condition, hedonic motivation, innovativeness, and media credibility were used as independent variables in the model. The survey data from the users of the podcast portal 'podbbang' were analyzed with Smart PLS 2.0 to test the structural equation model. The results revealed that the podcast service user's effort expectancy, facilitating condition, hedonic motivation, and media credibility have a significant influence on use intention. However, the relationship between the podcast service user's performance expectancy, social influence, innovativeness, and use intention were not identified as significant.

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to investigate how OTA recommendation influences users' purchase decision making and reuse intention based on the users' destination type. And we compare the results of domestic destination and overseas destination. Design/methodology/approach This research model was designed with the recommendation elements of OTA. And this study conducted an empirical analysis using self-administered questionnaires. The target of the analysis is an individual who has purchased hotel rooms through the OTA for the past one year. A total of 374 usable data were collected (177 domestic respondents and 197 overseas respondents) and analyzed using partial least squares analysis using Smart-PLS 3.0. Findings Two OTA recommendation characteristics - recommendation accuracy and recommendation objectivity were significant in overall model. And easy of decision making was significantly affect to OTA reuse intention. Also, only recommendation accuracy variable was revealed to significant moderating variable between domestic model and overseas model.

  • Purpose: This research examines the factors that influence organic food purchasing decisions of kindergartens in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Research Design, Data, and Methodology: A mixed-method research was utilized in this study. It included a focus group of 10 participants and a survey of 304 respondents, (quantitative research) who are employed in the selected kindergartens, using both online and paper surveys based on nonprobability and convenient sampling. The SPSS and SmartPLS 3 software were used to analyze data. Results: a) Eight factors affect the purchase decision of kindergartens; b) Environment Attention, Normative Beliefs, Trust belief on brand, Cost of meal set, and Reference group positively affect Intention behavior; c) Feeling safe positively affect Perceived Quality Product. Perceived quality of product and Intention behavior positively affect organic food Purchase Decision of kindergartens. Conclusion: Eight factors affect organic food purchasing decisions of kindergartens in Ho Chi Minh City. This study offers recommendation and solutions for a stable output of organic products in Vietnam, and ways to popularize them within the community.

  • Recently, the use of mobile payment, called "Pay" payment, is increasing such as 'KakaoPay' and 'SamsungPay'. In Korea, various mobile payment services are running and emerging. The purpose of this study is to examine the intention to switch from using existing credit cards or check card to mobile payment service based on the two-factor theory. We empirically examined the effect of the two factors, the factors that enable switching and the factors that inhibit switching. Therefore, the study use switching cost and switching benefit as parameters to confirm the effect on the switching intention. In addition, this study intends to analyze the differences between two subgroups by the degree of personal innovativeness. We survey smartphone users and credit card or check card users, and analyzed the Smart PLS 3.0 using structural equation model to verify the significance of the research hypothesis.

  • The central objective of this paper is to check different effects developed by interaction with a gender and brand attributes related to the brand authenticity such as brand authority and brand ethicality. The survey method was used for this paper, and data from a total of 136 office workers were used for the analysis. The data were analyzed using smartPLS, a structural equation modeling tool. The results of the analysis are summarized as follows. First, brand authority has a significant effect on brand authenticity in both male and female. Second, brand ethicality has a significant effect on brand authenticity in only male. Third, brand authenticity has a significant effect on purchase and word-of-mouth intention in only male. Therefore brand authority is the determinant of the perceived brand authenticity. The findings have significant implications which the study inquires into the gender difference in the perceived brand authenticity of consumers.

  • The purpose of this study was to propose a model of knowledge transfer in IT outsourcing. In this study, structural holes were chosen as antecedent factors, and job performance as a consequence factor. We conducted a survey in which we collected data from 42 respondents working in one of the leading IT companies in Seoul, South Korea. The data were analyzed using UCINET 6 and SmartPLS 2.0. The antecedent factors (structural holes in closeness network and in professional network) turned out to be statistically significant. Knowledge transfer considerably influenced job performance. Lastly, implications and limitations of these findings were discussed, and directions for future research were suggested.

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to verify impacts of factors, representing Push-Pull-Mooring(PPM) on switch intention to OTT(Over-The-Top) service in demand for content and to find relationship between factors through empirical analysis. Design/methodology/approach This study designed a research model by deriving factors affecting the intention to switch on OTT service based on the Push-Pull-Mooring framework and researches on OTT service. To test the hypothesis, a total of 357 responses were collected from individuals with experience in using OTT service and analyzed using SPSS26 and SmartPLS3.0. Findings According to the empirical analysis result, this study confirmed that the push, pull, and mooring factors proposed in this study had a significant effect on switching intention on OTT service. In addition, this study confirmed that both low switching cost and need for variety had a significant effect except for hypothesis H8.
