The Study on the design of Claw Pole Stepping Motor considering Axial flux (축 방향 자속을 고려한 Claw pole 스테핑 모터 설계에 관한 연구)

  • A claw pole stepping motor is widely used in various fields such as a compact optical disk drive, computer peripherals, digital cameras, office automation(OA), handheld mobile devices, because it has the suitable structure for compact motor. However 3D analysis is essential for design of Claw pole stepping motor because of axial flux path. Thus, in general, it takes a lot of time in the design of Claw pole motor. In this paper, magnetic equivalent circuit considering axial flux was proposed to reduce design time of Claw pole motor and we has designed by using the magnetic equivalent circuit. In addition, in oder to verify the study, design model was verified by 3D FEM simulation and experiment.

  • The aim of this project is to Improve the environment for Sanbon Oriental Medical Center, Wonkwang University. Since 1997 both Occidental Medical and Oriental Medical have occupied this building. Last year most of Occidental Medical except emergency and operating parts moved to the next new building. The serious problem was the fact that the building was designed as function for office not hospital. Especially, I tried to express the images of Won-buddism as well as Oriental Medical and the design targets are : 1. comfortable, creditable atmosphere, 2. traditional, scientific image, 3. ergonomic approach, 4. faith in Oriental Medical, 5. bright, smart space. This is also to create the optimum CEI(Commercial Environmental Identity) by the value pyramid.

A Study on the Cost Effective DSM Method for Lighting Power Control through Pilot Test Based on Pre-Verified Methodologies (다양한 형태의 조명(형광등) 전력제어 실증시험을 통한 비용효과적인 전력수요관리방법 도출)

  • The portion of lighting power consumption for our country is up to 20~30% of the total amount. Currently, most of the DSM(Demand side management) of lighting power is delivered in supply of high efficient lighting to customers. On the contrary, applications of lighting power to power load leveling are still rare. In this paper, the simulations for various control types of lighting power for load leveling are tried, and we obtained the cost effective and optimal control method through that. This simulation was executed in test office with fluorescent light by us based on applying 8 control types(on, off & dimming), considering customers' satisfaction, for instance, minimum intensity of illumination allowed. According to the result of this test, we found that mixed type(chessboard(on-off) plus dimming control(10%)) is most effective.

  • Dynamic ID-based authentication solves the ID-theft problem by changing the ID in each session instead of using a fixed ID while performing authenticated key exchanges between communicating parties. User anonymity is expected to be maintained and the exchanged key kept secret even if one of the long-term keys is compromised in the future. However, in the conventional dynamic ID-based authentication scheme, if the server's long-term key is compromised, user anonymity can be broken or the identities of the users can be traced. In addition, these schemes are vulnerable to replay attacks, in which any adversary who captures the authentication message can retransmit it, and eventually cause the legitimate user to be denied service. This paper proposes a novel dynamic ID-based authentication scheme that preserves forward anonymity as well as forward secrecy and obviates replay attacks.

  • 현재 전자식 전력량계는 전국기준 45%로써 2020년까지 모든 기계식 전력량계를 전자식 전력량계로 교체하고 있다. 전자식 전력량계는 계량데이터를 LP(Load Profile) 형태로 메모리에 저장하여 보관하고 있으며 저장된 LP는 잔자식 전력량계에 모뎀을 통해 한전 서버로 보내지거나 현장에서 노트북을 연결하여 유선으로 취득하고 있다. 기존 기계식 전력량계에서 얻지 못했던 무효전력, 피크전력, 역률, 주파수 등 다양한 정보를 얻을 수 있으나 전자식 전력량계 제조사에 따라 운영프로그램이 틀리고, 전자식 계기에서 노트북으로 LP를 전송시 사용하는 컨버터가 전력량계 형태에 따라 달라 현장업무시 불편한 점이 발생한다. 그리고 유선으로 취득함에 따른 현장업무 불편과 안전사고의 우려가 있다. 따라서 효율적으로 계량데이터를 취득하기 위해서는 운영프로그램, 노트북 연결장치를 일원화하고 통신선이 없이 취득하는 방법으로의 개선이 필요하다.

  • This paper describes a work that makes convenient use of room indicator of a professors' office. The functions are divided into two main functions, the main function being the display panel and the additional function LCD display. Both of these functions are designed to be controlled by smart phone application using bluetooth wireless communication.

  • Recently, various ubiquitous networking services are developed and implemented for easy living. In general, new ubiquitous networking services require the new infrastructure including equipments and devices. However, it is difficult to replace existing infrastructure and devices with new ones in the home or office because of cost and maintenance problems. In this paper, we developed small-size web based RF wireless communication systems for sensor network applications. The designed RF systems are implemented using commercial system on a chip (SoC) on existing infrastructure and devices. The developed systems are tested for light control and temperature sensing and they are applied to sensor network training courses for students and engineer as well as various practical applications.

  • In this paper, the power system with electric vehicles is analyzed considering the mobility and diffusion rate of electric vehicles in the smart grid environment. In the previous studies, load modeling and load composition rates have been researched and the results are applied to develop a new load model to explain the mobility of electric vehicles which could affect on the power system status such as power flow and stability. The results would be utilized to research and develop power system analysis methods considering movable charging characteristics of electric vehicles including movable discharging characteristics which could be affected by the diffusion progress of electric vehicles.

Depression and Interest Level of Office Workers in their 30s to 40s

  • This study investigated the relationship between depressive symptoms and interests of workers in their 30s to 40s. This study recruited 49 workers who fit the selection criteria. Descriptive, frequency, and regression analyses were performed. To describe participant characteristics and the classification of depression and interest, descriptive and frequency analyses were used. The effect of interest patterns on depressive symptoms was analyzed using a multiple regression analysis, specifying the significance level at 0.05. The results of this study showed that half of the respondents, who were in their 30s and 40s, experienced depression. In addition, this study indicated that interest of workers in their 30s to 40s in daily, cognitive, physical, and social activities in the present was lower than that in the past. This interest level affected depression in past and present interest (p<0.05). This study investigated the relationship between interest and depression of workers in their 30s to 40s and suggest that interest in various areas may help prevent depression.

  • 본 논문에서는 Zigbee 통신을 이용하여 대기전력을 차단함 함으로써 전력 소비를 줄이기 위한 스마트 오피스 시스템의 설계 및 구현에 관하여 기술한다. 구현된 시스템은 Server를 통하여 각 Client의 전류에 대한 통제를 가능하게 하며, 전력 사용 상황과 전력량 정보를 통해 사용자에게 고지함으로써 기존의 전자기기의 대기전력의 소비를 줄일 수 있다. 또한 외부 장치에서 Server로의 접근을 통해 제어할 수 있도록 하여 공간적인 문제도 고려하였다. 실험 결과를 통해 시스템을 이용함으로써 대기전력 소비가 종전보다 작아짐을 확인 할 수 있었다. Server는 ARM과 C#, Client는 ATmega와 C를 이용하여 구현하였다.
