메타버스 리얼리티를 위한 공유 모빌리티 기반 국부적 미세먼지 관측 기술 연구 (A Study on the Local Particulate Matter Monitoring Technology using Shared-Use Mobilities for Metaverse Reality)

  • In this study, we developed a 'shared-use mobility'-mounted local particulate matter monitoring terminal technology to measure the actual particulate matter concentration around me. As a mobile terminal device in the form of an IoT sensor platform, it is designed to be separated into a control module and a sensor module to minimize interference between sensors and to consider the optimal observation position of each sensor. As a result of the field test, it was confirmed that particulate matter was locally different depending on time and space even within the same area. In addition, it was confirmed that the concentration of particulate matter in the relevant section differed by up to 100 times compared to the surrounding area due to specific sources of particulate matter such as unpaved roads. In addition, we positively reviewed the applicability of the service in the real-time metaverse environment using this result. Through technological advancement and application of multiple shared-use mobilities, we expect to be able to provide new services for practical smart city air environment monitoring, such as localized particulate matter information, air pollution event information, and identification of causes of particulate matter.

실시간 SAR 영상 생성을 위한 Range Doppler Algorithm의 GPU 가속 (GPU Acceleration of Range Doppler Algorithm for Real-Time SAR Image Generation)

  • 본 논문에서는 FMCW(Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) SAR(Synthetic Aperture Radar) 기반 실시간 영상 형성을 위해 RDA(Range Doppler Algorithm)의 GPU 가속 커널을 개발하였다. Host와 GPU device 사이의 데이터 전송 시간을 최소화하기 위해 pinned 메모리를 사용하였고, 데이터의 전송 횟수를 최소화하기 위해 모든 RDA 연산을 GPU에서 수행하도록 커널을 구성하였다. FMCW 드론 SAR 실험을 통해 데이터셋를 획득하였고, intel i7-9700K CPU, 32GB RAM과 Nvidia RTX 3090 GPU 환경에서 GPU의 가속 효과를 측정하였다. Host-device간 데이터 전송 시간을 포함했을 경우 CPU 대비 최대 3.41배 가속된 것으로 측정되었고, 데이터 전송 시간을 포함하지 않고 연산의 가속 효과만을 측정했을 때, 최대 156배 가속 가능함을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Mobility 4.0으로 일컬어지는 교통서비스의 핵심은 유연성 있는 모빌리티 구현이며, 이를 위해 수요-공급을 실시간, 유기적으로 이어줄 수 있는 플랫폼 구축이 요구되고 있다. 즉, 교통 정보 혹은 통합 모빌리티를 빅데이터 기반의 표준화 및 상시 업데이트가 가능한 DB로 구축하고 이를 분석할 수 있는 객관적이고 과학적인 분석 체계를 제시하는 것이다. 이러한 측면에서, 보행 통행을 포함하는 복합환승역사와 이를 기반으로 통행 전주기로 확장하여 분석하는 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 복합환승역사를 이용하는 통행자 중심의 통합 모빌리티 분석 체계를 3단계로 구성하여, Data Repository 생성 모듈, 통합 모빌리티 분석 모듈, 공간 정보를 융합한 결과해석 모듈로 정의하였다. 철도 및 광역버스 환승역사(사당, 신도림, 교대, 광화문, 삼성, 강남, 잠실) 7개 역사를 분석 대상 역사로 지정하여 사례 분석을 수행하였다. 분석 대상 역사는 통계적 유의성에 근거하여 3개 그룹으로 구분되었으며, 자료 기반으로 한 통행 전주기 분석과 해석을 통해 보다 다양하고 체계적인 복합환승역사 분석이 가능함을 제시하였다.

FBG 센서를 내장한 스마트 강연선 개발 (Development of Smart Tendon Instrumented with Optical FBG Sensors)

  • This paper reports an attempt to develop 7-wire steel tendon which is instrumented with optical FBG sensors. The tendon is devised to replace the king cable, which is located in the center of the tendon, by a steel tube in which the FBG sensor are attached along the hole using a high-mobility polyester resin. The circular steel tube has typical of 5 mm outer diameter and 1 mm inner diameter, and can easily be manufactured by means of an pultrusion process. Using the tube, in this study, three different types of one meter-long smart tendons are fabricated depending on mixture ratio of polyester resin and initiator. The performance of the FBG sensors as well as mechanical characteristics of the prototype are tested through the tensile test. Test results shows that the proposed smart tendon is in principle very effective for measuring the working strain of the tendon.

  • 현재 스마트 모바일 기기들이 출시되어 융합성, 이동성, 편의성이 사용자들로부터 큰 호응을 받고 있다. 한편, 산업계에서도 처리하여야 할 정보가 점차 많아짐에 따라 복잡한 정보를 처리할 수 있는 모바일 기기가 요구되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 이러한 요구사항들을 반영한 산업용 스마트 모바일 패드의 구조를 설계하고, 그 응용분야들에 대해 고찰해 본다.

A Security Reference Model for the Construction of Mobile Banking Services based on Smart Phones

  • As smart phones have become widely adopted, they have brought about changes in individual lifestyles, as well as significant changes in the industry. As the mobile technology of smart phones has become associated with all areas of industry, it is not only accelerating innovation in other industries such as shopping, healthcare service, education, and finance, but is also creating new markets and business opportunities. The preparation of thorough security measures for smart phones is increasing in demand. While offering excellent mobility and convenience, smart phones can be exposed to a range of violation threats. In particular, it is necessary to make efforts to develop a security system that can preemptively cope with potential security threats in the banking service area, which requires a high level of reliability. This paper suggests a security reference model that is considered for the smart phone-based joint mobile banking development project being undertaken by the Bank of Korea in 2010. The purpose of this study is to make a security reference model for a reliable smart phone-based mobile financial service, by recognizing the specific security threats directed toward smart phones, and providing countermeasures to these security threats. The proposed mobile banking security reference model is useful in improving system security by systematically analyzing information security threats to the mobile financial service, and by presenting the guideline for the preparation of countermeasures.

  • 논문은 E-Mobility용 전력변환기의 고장 진단을 위해 차량 상태의 모니터링 기술을 IoT 기술을 접목하여 스마트폰으로 연동하여 운용하는 것에 대한 것이다. 중국에서는 EV 규제를 실시하여 기술의 발전과 전기자동차에 대한 시장 변화를 유도하고 있다. 이러한 추세에 맞게 E-Mobility도 적합한 모니터링 기술을 연구해야 한다. 기존 자동차에서 적용하는 OBD-II를 이용한 방법은 유무선 통신 방법이다. E-Mobility에 적용하기 위해서는 추가의 인터페이스 및 통신연동이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 기존 기술과 IoT를 접목시켜 E-Mobility용 전력변환기의 상태정보를 모니터링 하는 기술을 제안하였다. 이 기술을 통해서 기존 네트워크 프로토콜 및 하드웨어 인터페이스를 간소화 하였고, 사용자가 쉽게 모니터링 할 수 있도록 E-Mobility용 전력변환기와 스마트폰의 연동이 가능함을 확인하였다. 그리고 기능 측면에서 고부가가치 제품 설계가 되도록 연구를 수행하였다.

Cellular Traffic Offloading through Opportunistic Communications Based on Human Mobility

  • The rapid increase of smart mobile devices and mobile applications has led to explosive growth of data traffic in cellular network. Offloading data traffic becomes one of the most urgent technical problems. Recent work has proposed to exploit opportunistic communications to offload cellular traffic for mobile data dissemination services, especially for accepting large delayed data. The basic idea is to deliver the data to only part of subscribers (called target-nodes) via the cellular network, and allow target-nodes to disseminate the data through opportunistic communications. Human mobility shows temporal and spatial characteristics and predictability, which can be used as effective guidance efficient opportunistic communication. Therefore, based on the regularity of human mobility we propose NodeRank algorithm which uses the encounter characteristics between nodes to choose target nodes. Different from the existing work which only using encounter frequency, NodeRank algorithm combined the contact time and inter-contact time meanwhile to ensure integrity and availability of message delivery. The simulation results based on real-world mobility traces show the performance advantages of NodeRank in offloading efficiency and network redundant copies.

장애인을 위한 스마트 모빌리티 시스템 개발 (Development of Smart Mobility System for Persons with Disabilities)

  • Low fertility rates and increased life expectancy further exacerbate the process of an aging society. This is also reflected in the gradual increase in the proportion of vulnerable groups in the social population. The demand for improved mobility among vulnerable groups such as the elderly or the disabled has greatly driven the growth of the electric-assisted mobility device market. However, such mobile devices generally require a certain operating capability, which limits the range of vulnerable groups who can use the device and increases the cost of learning. Therefore, autonomous driving technology needs to be introduced to make mobility easier for a wider range of vulnerable groups to meet their needs of work and leisure in different environments. This study uses mini PC Odyssey, Velodyne Lidar VLP-16, electronic device and Linux-based ROS program to realize the functions of working environment recognition, simultaneous localization, map generation and navigation of electric powered mobile devices for vulnerable groups. This autonomous driving mobility device is expected to be of great help to the vulnerable who lack the immediate response in dangerous situations.
