The study investigates the relationship between broad-scope management accounting information usage, market orientation, and the firm performance. This study employs a survey data of 149 top-level and mid-level managers working in Vietnamese tourism enterprises. To analyze research data, we employ SmartPLS 3 software. The analytical process include measurement model evaluation (evaluate the scale's validity and reliability) and structural model evaluation (test research hypotheses). The results reveal that broad-scope management accounting information usage has a positive direct effect on market orientation dimensions (include information generation, information dissemination, and responsiveness). Then, market orientation dimensions also have positive direct effects on the performance of Vietnamese tourism firms, excluding information dissemination. Moreover, this study also reveals that the market orientation dimensions mediate the relationship between broad-scope management accounting information usage and firm performance. The findings of this study suggest that tourism firms should pay more attention to the use of management accounting information in decision-making. With the increasingly fierce competition of the tourism firms today, capturing and meeting the needs of the market is a prerequisite to help firms enhance their competitiveness and improve their performance. To do that, Vietnamese tourism firms need to consider pursuing market orientation and enhancing broad-scope management accounting information usage.

스마트폰과 같은 모바일 장치는 휴대가 간편한 소형 컴퓨팅 장치로서 기존 컴퓨터에서 수행하던 작업을 수행할 수 있으며 맞춤형 개인화 서비스가 가능하여 널리 활용되고 있다. 모바일 장치에서 동작하는 모바일 애플리케이션은 모바일 플랫폼의 특성에 따라서 호환성이 떨어지기는 특징을 가지기 때문에 해당 플랫폼을 지원하기 위해서는 플랫폼에 맞게 다시 개발해야 하는 제약사항을 가진다. 본 논문에서는 이를 해결하기 위해서 표준 웹 개발 언어인 HLTML5와 자바스크립트 라이브러리인 jQuery를 이용하여 다양한 모바일 플랫폼에서 호환성을 가지는 유비쿼터스 헬스케어 모니터링 시스템을 구현하였다. 구현된 시스템은 모바일 플랫폼뿐만 아니라 데스크톱 컴퓨터에서도 호환성을 가지기 때문에 다양한 환경에서 활용이 가능하다.

최근 스마트폰 사용 형태의 도움을 받아 사용자 특성을 예측하는 것은 매우 흥미롭고 주의를 사로잡는 연주 주제이다. 현재 몇몇 연구들은 사용자의 특성을 예측하기 위해 전화 사용 기록, 문자 메시지 사용 기록, 소셜 네트워크 서비스 사용 기록 등을 이용하고 있다. 이 논문에서, 우리는 MBTI 사용자 특성과 스마트폰 사용로그 간의 관계를 평가한다. 이를 위해, 스마트폰 사용 기록에서 부터 몇몇 특징들을 추출하고 이를 Naive Bayes와 SVM등의 분류기에 적용하여 사용자의 특성을 구분하였다. 사용자 특성 분석 결과의 분석을 통해 facebook사용 기록이 외향적인 사람과 내향적인 사람을 가장 잘 구분하는 것을 알 수 있었고, SVM 분류기가 Naive Bayes보다 사용자의 특성을 잘 예측하는 것을 확인하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the beneficial effects of a new cognitive intervention program designed for the care and prevention of dementia, namely Learning Therapy. The training program used systematized basic problems in arithmetic and Japanese language as training tasks. In study 1, 16 individuals in the experimental group and 16 in the control group were recruited from a nursing home. In both groups, all individuals were clinically diagnosed with senile dementia of the Alzheimer type. In study 2, we performed a single-blind, randomized controlled trial in our cognitive intervention program of 124 community-dwelling seniors. In both studies, the daily training program using reading and arithmetic tasks was carried out approximately 5 days a week, for 15 to 20 minutes a day in the intervention groups. Neuropsychological measures were determined simultaneously in the groups both prior to and after six months of the intervention. The results of our investigations indicate that our cognitive intervention using reading and arithmetic problems demonstrated a transfer effect and they provide convincing evidence that cognitive training maintains and improves the cognitive functions of dementia patients and healthy seniors.

최근 사물인터넷 분야에서 스마트 팩토리 부분은 많은 주목을 받고 있으며 관련된 연구도 많이 진행되고 있다. 기존의 스마트 팩토리 플랫폼은 제품 생산 효율성을 높여 비용을 줄이는 것을 목표로 센서로부터의 데이터 수집과 클라우드로의 전송, 대규모 데이터 분석을 통한 의사결정 등 자동화 부분에 집중되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 웹 GUI를 활용하여 응용 개발의 편의성을 높여 개발자가 아닌 공정관리자가 직접 공정을 제어할 수 있도록 했으며 유사 환경이 구축된 다른 공장에서 기존에 만들어진 공정 프로그램을 공유하고 재수정할 수 있는 시스템을 설계하였다. 또한, 프로토타입을 구현하여 제안된 웹 GUI기반 스마트 팩토리 공정 관리 및 공유 시스템의 운용 가능성을 검증하였다.

The video deflectometer based on digital image correlation is a non-contacting optical measurement method which has become a useful tool for characterization of the vertical deflections of large structures. In this study, a novel imaging model has been established which considers the variations of pitch angles in the full image. The new model allows deflection measurement at a wide working distance with high accuracy. A monocular video deflectometer has been accordingly developed with an inclination sensor, which facilitates dynamic determination of the orientations and rotation of the optical axis of the camera. This layout has advantages over the video deflectometers based on theodolites with respect to convenience. Experiments have been presented to show the accuracy of the new imaging model and the performance of the monocular video deflectometer in outdoor applications. Finally, this equipment has been applied to the measurement of the vertical deflection of Yingwuzhou Yangtze River Bridge in real time at a distance of hundreds of meters. The results show good agreement with the embedded GPS outputs.

The current study's objective isto determine the impact of organizational climate on organizational reputation in the context of organizational health as a mediating variable, in a case study of textile enterprises in Jordan that are listed on the Industrial Qualified zones. The study population contains (12) companies, according to the industrial qualified zones, with 317 employees who are working at CEO, deputy CEO, and supervisor positions chosen through convenience sampling. While the final sample of the current study consists of 174. Furthermore, to test the current study's hypotheses, the Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) technique was applied. Additionally, the current study concludes that there is a positive impact of organizational climate on organizational reputation. The current study shows that organizational climate has a positive impact on organizational health and organizational health has a positive impact on organizational reputation. Moreover, there is the mediation impact of organizational health on the relationship between organizational climate and organizational reputation. Based on the results of the current study, the study proposes that the level of organizational climate, organizational health, and organizational reputation in the examined companies be enhanced and increased.

Understanding teachers in the early childhood education is crucial as it can not only affect the quality of children's education but also cause many critical problems such as child abuse. A significant amount of research work has been made on the use of robots in childcare classrooms. The finding from the research has shown many advantages such as the improvement of learning performance, social/emotional skills, creativity, concentration period, physical and cognitive development. However, most of the study has been implemented at the K-12 classrooms but not much has been focused on the education at the early childhood classrooms. Importantly, it is very crucial to understand teachers' perception, demands and technical competence about the new teaching tool, in order to maximize its educational effect. This paper investigates some critical issues existing in both teaching and managing in the early childhood education. It will also explore teachers' perceptions and expectations on the use of robots to identify some dilemmas that exist in their working and teaching environment. A survey study was conducted with 119 early childhood educators in South Korea. It analyzed the educators' perception of using robots to improve their teaching performance and to make better outcomes for children, investigated job satisfaction and difficulties that they have in the current work environment. This paper concludes with several guidelines for integrating and setting robotics in the early childhood environment, in order to engender productive outcomes for the future early childhood education.

Motor pumps cannot be used in those areas where electricity is not accessible such as remote rural areas in many African countries. Hydraulic ram pump is one of the solutions for supplying water for irrigation or domestic uses. The hydraulic ram pumps are working based on the water hammer effect for pumping without external power or electricity. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of air chamber volume and operation parameters on the performance of the hydraulic ram pump which was assembled with common plumbing parts. The experimental results showed the volume of the air chamber did not affect the performance such as discharge rate and head. When drive heights were 1.7 and 2.35 m, the maximum discharge heads were up to 7 m and 10 m, respectively. When the air chamber volume was 1 L, discharge rates were 0.23 and 2.12 L/min under the drive heights of 1.7 and 2.35 m, respectively. The average energy efficiency of the hydraulic ram pump assembled in this study was about 60% for all the experimental conditions.

In this study, we investigated the necessity and limitations of music composition required in TV documentary by conducting in-depth interviews with 20 music directors currently working at Korean Broadcasting System (KBS). Our research has shown that composition of music is necessary. However, in reality, it is difficult to use the composed music due to problems such as time and cost of composing and trust in the music composer; so music libraries, film music, or other music are used instead of the composed music in many situations. However, at the time when companies like its rival Netflix are aware of the importance of sound, the impact of Netflix could lead to a decline in the quality of terrestrial TV, which could lead to a weakening of competitiveness. Recently, in the case of sound programs, the sales of secondary works are active due to "internet uploading using YouTube" or "exporting programs", but the sales have been hindered by restrictions on the use of copyrighted works. The music source of library is said to be the one whose copyright problem has been resolved. In this study, we show that the composed music is an ultimate alternative to TV documentaries, since the library music is sometimes suspended due to the situations of management companies.
