Stability Design of a Laser Cutter for the Strengthened Glass (디스플레이 기기용 강화유리 절단기의 안정화 설계)

  • Strengthened glass is widely used in the display industry for the smart phone and the tablet PC's, the market of which shows steady growth. The strengthened glass is prone to the fracture due to the machined surface defects such as crack and notch. The surface defects are caused mostly by the vibrations of the laser cutter. In this study, the vibrations of the laser cutter were investigated through the frequency response experiment and the computer simulation. The main reasons of the structural vibrations were analyzed, and further the design alterations were deduced and applied to the machine to check the effects of those alterations and to eventually improve the structural stability. The result shows that simple design modifications without major structural change can substantially suppress the vibrations, and improve the quality of the machined surface.

  • In this paper, the pattern of extracting the same expression is proposed by using the Android intelligent device to identify the facial expression. The understanding and expression of expression are very important to human computer interaction, and the technology to identify human expressions is very popular. Instead of searching for the emoticons that users often use, you can identify facial expressions with acamera, which is a useful technique that can be used now. This thesis puts forward the technology of the third data is available on the website of the set, use the content to improve the infrastructure of the facial expression recognition accuracy, in order to improve the synthesis of neural network algorithm, making the facial expression recognition model, the user's facial expressions and similar e xpressions, reached 66%.It doesn't need to search for emoticons. If you use the camera to recognize the expression, itwill appear emoticons immediately. So this service is the emoticons used when people send messages to others, and it can feel a lot of convenience. In countless emoticons, there is no need to find emoticons, which is an increasing trend in deep learning. So we need to use more suitable algorithm for expression recognition, and then improve accuracy.

  • Having been speedy development of the IT industry, devices such as set-top box and smart phone are used in the broad filed. Because Java has merits that are platform independency, security and mobility, that is important software platform to offer stable services in the small device. This needs JVM(Java Virtual Machine) to execute Java application in the small device. CVM(Classic Virtual Machine) which is the kind of JVM is designed for embedded device to have limited resources.   • Recent national attention on English conversation continued, smartphone game has emerged into the mainstream of game industry. In this study, smartphone serious game that combines english conversation learning and smartphone game for learning english conversation was designed and implemented. English sentence patterns separated words, phrases, and sentences was able to learn step-by-step and repeatedly. Also, Throughout the game of different type by stage was to provide interested. Test results were discovered the problem not causing continuous user interest. To compensate for this, study of a game changes element and difficulty adjusting will be followed.

  • 본 논문에서는 현재 급변하는 국내 게임 산업의 변화를 살펴보면 소수의 인원으로 짧은 시간에 개발이 가능하고 휴대가 간편하며 리스크가 적은 스마트폰 게임 시장의 확장이 두드러지고 있다. 반면에 온라인 게임시장은 무분별한 규제 및 메이져급 게임회사의 중, 소 게임 회사 인수합병으로 인해서 게임 업계는 위축되는 현상으로 가고 있다. 하드웨어, 소프트웨어 및 플랫폼 환경의 빠른 변화로 인해서 게임 개발에 또 다른 영향을 주고 있는데 클라우드 서비스로 인해서 이동형 게임을 더욱 가속화 시킬 수 있게 되었고, On-Live같은 미들웨어 기술의 성장 속도를 보면 고 하이 퀄리티 게임을 이제는 무선 인터넷망을 통해서 손쉽게 즐길 수 있는 방향으로 진화하고 있다고 본다. 이러한 변화에 발맞춰서 게임 개발 환경 및 구축 형태도 진화 시켜야 한다고 보는데 기술적으로는 클라우드 서비스와 미들웨어 쪽에 맞춰서 개발해야 하고, 역기능 부분의 개선책으로 순기능 부분의 기능성 게임은 앞으로 개발 가능성이 매우 높으며 그 중 실버세대와 교육용 게임 시장이 대세로 될 것이다. 즉 이러한 트렌드 분석을 통해서 국내 게임의 발전 방향에 대해서 단점을 극복하고 장점을 부각시켜야 한다.

Smart-tracking Systems Development with QR-Code and 4D-BIM for Progress Monitoring of a Steel-plant Blast-furnace Revamping Project in Korea

  • Blast furnace revamping in steel industry is one of the most important work to complete the complicated equipment within a short period of time based on the interfaces of various types of work. P company has planned to build a Smart Tracking System based on the wireless tag system with the aim of complying with the construction period and reducing costs, ahead of the revamping of blast furnace scheduled for construction in February next year. It combines the detailed design data with the wireless recognition technology to grasp the stage status of design, storage and installation. Then, it graphically displays the location information of each member in relation to the plan and the actual status in connection with Building Information Modeling (BIM) 4D Simulation. QR Code is used as a wireless tag in order to check the receiving status of core equipment considering the characteristics of each item. Then, DB in server system is built, status information is input. By implementing BIM 4D Simulation data using DELMIA, the information on location and status is provided. As a feature of the S/W function, a function for confirming the items will be added to the cellular phone screen in order to improve the accuracy of tagging of the items. Accuracy also increases by simultaneous processing of storage and location tagging. The most significant effect of building this system is to minimize errors in construction by preventing erroneous operation of members. This system will be very useful for overall project management because the information about the position and progress of each critical item can be visualized in real time. It could be eventually lead to cost reduction of project management.

  • For the domestic web-toon industry, a new industrial environment has been created by the growth various domestic and international factors, such as technology development, the increase of platforms, charged web-toon, and globalization. Although the role of the agency has not been emphasized at the formation and introduction time of the web-toon, the role growth of the agency has been regularized with the expanding of the web-toon industry. The expending web-toon industry is due to the introduction of smart-phone, by which people can consume the web-toon without any limit of time and place, so the web-toon industry has been growing rapidly. Thereafter the production of the second contents using the web-toon IP has been actively carried out and the activity area of the web-toon artist has been diversified, so the necessity of the specialized web-toon agency has begun to be brought in earnest. In this study, the web-toon industry has been, firstly, classified as transition period of cartoon industry, foothold formation period of web-toon, introduction period of web-toon industry, expansion period, and maturity period according to the industrial life cycle theory. As a result, the web-toon agency has been emerged from the expansion period of web-toon industry, and the role of agency, to prevent web-toon industry entering into declining period from its maturity period, has been researched in this study.

Exploration of emerging technologies based on patent analysis in complex product systems for catch-up: the case of gas turbine (복합제품시스템 추격을 위한 특허 기반 부상기술 탐색: 가스터빈 사례를 중심으로)

  • Korean manufacturing industry have recently faced the catch-up of China in the mass commodity product, such as automotive, display, and smart phone in terms of market as well as technology. Accordingly, discussion on the importance of achieving catch-up in complex product systems (CoPS) has been increasing as a new innovation engine for the industry. In order to achieve successful catch-up of CoPS, we explored emerging technologies of CoPS, which are featured by the characteristics of radical novelty, relatively fast growth and self-sustaining, through the study of emerging technologies of gas turbine for power generation. We found that emerging technologies of the gas turbine are technologies for combustion nozzle and composition of electrical machine for increasing power efficiency, washing technology for particulate matter, cast and material processing technology for enhancing durability from fatigue, cooling technologies from extremely high temperature, interconnection operation technology between renewable energy and the gas turbine for flexibility in power generation, and big data technology for remote monitoring and diagnosis of the gas turbine. We also found that those emerging technologies resulted in technological progress of the gas turbine by converging with other conventional technologies in the gas turbine. It indicates that emerging technologies in CoPS can be appeared on various technological knowledge fields and have complementary relationship with conventional technologies for technology progress of CoPS. It also implies that latecomers need to pursue integrated learning that includes emerging technologies as well as conventional technologies rather than independent learning related to emerging technologies for successful catch-up of CoPS. Our findings provide an important initial theoretical ground for investigating the emerging technologies and their characteristics in CoPS as well as recognizing knowledge management strategy for successful catch-up of latecomers. Our findings also contribute to the policy development of the CoPS from the perspective of innovation strategy and knowledge management.

Youth Film Festival : its Evolution History and Influence (청소년영화제의 형성과정과 영향요인)

  • In this study, we're going to look at the formation process of Youth film Festival and factors affecting that process. The Youth film Festival didn't appear suddenly in a day. There have been various trial regarding media education by civil society organizations (NGO) until the mid 1990s, principal Youth film Festival has been held from 1997s to 2001s and established a framework for Youth film Festival. There were some progress after those times and then in 2008 Youth film Festival faced some changes such as screening online, and responded rapidly to the current image industry and the cultural stream like the appearance of HD camcoder and smart phone till now. We can divide two areas regarding factors that affecting those formation process of Youth film Festival. First, they are explained as economic and social factors that the situation of South Korea extremely such as the efforts of civil society organizations (NGO), image technology and development of the industry, IMF bailout era and so on, second cultural and educational factors that the rise of virtual culture, the University entrance and results of awards. Thus Youth film Festival has been evolved in various affects, so we can look into the various sections of korea society through these formation process of Youth film Festival.
