Design and Implementation of Smart Door Lock System using Beacon and QR Code (비콘과 QR코드를 이용한 스마트 도어락 시스템 설계 및 구현)

  • 이 논문은 비콘과 QR코드를 이용해 방문자 식별 및 원격제어를 구현한 스마트 도어락 시스템을 제안한다. 1인가구의 지속적인 증가에 따라 도어락에 원격제어와 보안의 필요성이 부각된다. 기존 논문에서는 동영상 전송방식, 블루투스 통신 방식 등 다양한 기술을 이용하여 구현한 도어락 시스템을 제안한다. 하지만 동영상 전송방식은 센서가 방문자를 오판단하는 경우가 발생하고, IoT기반의 실시간 스트리밍 기술을 이용한 도어락은 해제 후에 사용자가 집의 내부를 모니터링할 수 없다. 이 논문은 비콘과 안드로이드 어플리케이션, 라즈베리파이를 이용한 방문자 식별 및 원격제어를 구현한다. 또한 3D 프린팅을 이용하여 제작한 프로토타입을 보인다.

Fixed Indoor-BS Selection Based Self-Healing in Indoor Wireless Communication System (인도어 무선통신시스템에서 고정적 인도어기지국 선택을 통한 자가치유 알고리즘)

  • In order to resolve coverage hole problems caused by indoor-BS (IBS) faults, we propose a new frame structure and practical algorithm based on optimization technique. Our main contributions can be described as follows: 1) a frame structure with healing channels for solving abnormal IBS faults; and 2) an efficient heuristic resource allocation algorithm with fixed IBS selection to reduce the complexity for the optimization problem. Through intensive simulations, we evaluate the performance excellency of our proposed algorithm with respect to average cell capacity and user fairness compared with conventional algorithms.

  • Safety management agent manages the risk behavior of the worker with the naked eye, but there is a real difficulty for one the agent to manage all the workers. In this paper, IoT device is attached to a harness safety belt that a worker wears to solve this problem, and behavior data is upload to the cloud in real time. We analyze the upload data through the deep learning and analyze the risk behavior of the worker. When the analysis result is judged to be dangerous behavior, we designed and implemented a system that informs the manager through monitoring application. In order to confirm that the risk behavior analysis through the deep learning is normally performed, the data values of 4 behaviors (walking, running, standing and sitting) were collected from IMU sensor for 60 minutes and learned through Tensorflow, Inception model. In order to verify the accuracy of the proposed system, we conducted inference experiments five times for each of the four behaviors, and confirmed the accuracy of the inference result to be 96.0%.

  • Currently, the record of part-timer is mainly written in handwriting or using excel work schedule, paper work recorder, and time attendance program using POS program. And, work table, commute records, paycheck are managed separately. Time-attendance information is not linked and is managed separately, and payment of wages is often not done accurately. And, it is difficult to pay the wages because it is not able to accurately grasp the state of attendance of part-timer. Therefore, it is necessary to have a transparent wage and work management system based on the trust between the owner and the part-timer. In this paper, we design a system that can perform real-time commute check using beacon, transparent wage management, wage calculation by automatic calculation, and smooth communication between owner and the part-timer. We have also implemented a store management mobile application using Android Studio 2.3, Eclipse, Android 5.1 and Beacon devices in a MySQL environment.

ARM: Adaptive Resource Management for Wireless Network Reliability (무선 네트워크의 신뢰성 보장을 위한 적응적 자원 관리 기법)

  • To provide network reliability in indoor wireless communication systems, we should resolve the problem of unexpected network failure rapidly. In this paper, we propose an adaptive resource management (ARM) scheme to support seamless connectivity to users. In consideration of system throughput and user fairness simultaneously, the ARM scheme adaptively determines the set of healing channels, and performs scheduling and power allocation iteratively based on a constrained non-convex optimization technique. Through intensive simulations, we demonstrate the superior performance results of the proposed ARM scheme in terms of the average cell capacity and user fairness.

Design of the High Throughput Pipeline LEA (고처리율 파이프라인 LEA 설계)

  • As the number of IoT service increases, the interest of lightweight block cipher algorithm, which consists of simple operations with low-power and high speed, is growing. LEA(Leightweight Encryption Algorithm) is recently adopted as one of lightweight encryption standards in Korea. In this paper a pipeline LEA architecture is proposed to process large amounts of data with high throughput. The proposed pipeline LEA can communicate with external modules in the 32-bit I/O interface. It consists of input, output and encryption pipeline stages which take 4 cycles using a muti-cycle pipeline technique. The experimental results showed that the proposed pipeline LEA achieved more than 7.5 Gbps even though the key length was varied. Compared with the previous high speed LEA in accordance with key length of 128, 192, and 256 bits, the throughput of the pipeline LEA was improved 6.45, 7.52, and 8.6 times. Also the throughput per area was improved 2, 1.82, and 2.1 times better than the previous one.

  • Recently, application areas based on M2M (Machine-to-Machine communications) and IoT (Internet of Things) technologies are expanding rapidly. Accordingly, water flow and water quality management improvements are being pursued by applying this technology to water and sewage facilities. Especially, water management will collect and store accurate data based on various ICT technologies, and then will expand its service range to remote meter-reading service using smart metering system. For this, the error in flow rate data transmitting should be minimized to obtain credibility on related additional service system such as real time water flow rate analysis and billing. In this study, we have identified the structural problems in transmitting process and protocol to minimize errors in flow rate data transmission and its handling process which is essential to water supply pipeline management. The result confirmed that data acquisition via communication system is better than via analogue current values and pulse, and for communication method case, applying the industrial standard protocol is better for minimizing errors during data acquisition versus applying user assigned method.

  • Extremely fine particles seriously affect people and are becoming a social problem. Conventional methods using the type of beta ray absorption are difficult to have real-time measurements and miniaturization for the acquisition of fine dust. In this paper, a light scattering method was used. The sensors were configured internally with semiconductor laser diodes for miniaturization, low cost and lightweight. The use of the FFT method makes it easier to separate fine dust according to size compared to conventional light scattering sensors. Bluetooth communication also allows the connection, monitoring and control of devices using smart phones.

  • 2018년 한국의 합계출산율은 0.98명으로 OECD 회원국 중 출산율 1명이 되지 않는 유일한 국가가 되었다. 이에 대한 원인으로 경제적 문제, 맞벌이 부부의 증가로 인한 육아스트레스를 들 수 있다. 때문에 육아스트레스를 줄이기 위해 아이를 보다 편하게 보살필 수 있는 사물인터넷(IoT: Internet of Things) 기술이 접목된 육아용품이 필요하다. 이에 따라 본 논문은 기존의 아기침대에 사물인터넷 플랫폼을 추가하고 각 센서 들의 정보를 수집해 아기의 수면패턴분석 및 수면유도, 시트 온도조절, 시트 등받이 조절, 침대 자동 스윙 및 스윙 세기 조절, 침대 높낮이 조절 등의 기능을 수행하는 사물인터넷 기반의 새로운 육아용품을 개발해서, 부모들의 효율적인 육아 활동을 가능하게 하여 육아스트레스에 대한 부담을 크게 감소시키는 것을 목표로 한다.

  • 최근 IoT 기술의 발전에 따라, 사용자는 외부에서 스마트폰을 통해 가정 내 기기 및 환경을 관리할 수 있게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 가정 내 다양한 상태 정보를 이용하여 최적의 환기 서비스를 제공하고, 최적의 내부 공기 환경을 지원하는 아두이노 기반 가정 내 공기 관리 및 경보 시스템을 제안한다. 본 시스템을 통해 사용자는 외부에서 편리하게 가정 내 공기 환경정보를 얻을 수 있고 자동 제어가 가능하며, 향후 다양한 가정 내/외부 환경정보 및 상태정보를 활용하는 고도화된 지능형 홈 서비스 연구에 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.
