  • In this study the characteristics of E-EGR valve developed by UNICK were analyzed and the feasibility of application to vehicles were evaluated. Smart car(3L/100km, cdi version) and engine which is small-displacement size, 0.8-liter, of diesel passenger car developed from Mercedes-Benz were used for this experiment. It was installed a 3-cylinder turbo-charged light duty diesel engine with an electronic EGR valve. After the analysis and comparison of E-EGR valve performance under test benchs, the estimation of vehicle application was executed through the EGR map and CVS-75 test result measured on the chassis dynamometer.

  • In this paper Wifi robot car working as web sever on wifi network was implemented using NodeMCU ESP-12E board and its operation was verified using web browser of smart phone and PC. Current research result can be applicable to Wifi home automation applications with ESP-12E board.

  • In this paper, we have recently created self-driving cars and self-parking systems in human-friendly cars that can provide high safety and high convenience functions by recognizing the internal and external situations of automobiles in real time by incorporating next-generation electronics, information communication, and function control technologies. And with the development of connected cars, the ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) market is expected to grow rapidly. Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) is an intelligent transportation system that incorporates technologies such as electronics, information, communication, and control into the transportation system, and aims to implement a next-generation transportation system suitable for the information society. By combining the technologies of connected cars and Internet of Things with software features and operating systems, future cars will serve as a service platform to connect the surrounding infrastructure on their own. This study creates a research methodology based on the Enhanced Security Model in Self-Driving Cars model. As for the types of attacks, Availability Attack, Man in the Middle Attack, Imperial Password Use, and Use Inclusive Access Control attack defense methodology are used. Along with the commercialization of 5G, various service models using advanced technologies such as autonomous vehicles, traffic information sharing systems using IoT, and AI-based mobility services are also appearing, and the growth of smart transportation is accelerating. Therefore, research was conducted to defend against hacking based on vulnerabilities of smart cars based on artificial intelligence blockchain.

Safety Identification Lamp Visibility of Micro Cars (초소형전기차의 안전식별등 시인성에 관한 연구)

  • Interest in micro cars is growing around the world, and policy support for micro cars has been increasing in Korea. It is important to meet minimum safety standards for the operation of micro cars on roads due to concerns around micro car safety and the limited driving range of micro cars. In this study, visibility experiments that included safety identification of micro cars were conducted to try and prevent a decrease in driver reaction time. Safety identification lights were installed to the rear of a micro car, and the visibility and discomfort of the vehicle were evaluated to determine whether the micro car was safe to drive on an expressway. As a result, the installation effect of Micro car which install safety identification lamp was found when joining the point at an acceleration lane of the grade separation intersection, and that light on/off could be effective when entering an expressway. If the micro car operation plan proposed in this study is applied, the safety of micro cars on expressways can be increased by improving the visibility of micro car.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out latent needs of users through the difference of information inflow between design major and engineering major reflecting car lifestyle and to complement them. Although those two relationship deepens due to the development of industrialization, collaboration is still a difficult situation. To find out lifestyle of between those two majors, experiments were carried out quantitatively by conducting in-depth interviews and additionally survey were conducted concurrently. The results showd clearly difference in meaning and value of the automobile. This phenomenon is related to identity. The designers expressed themselves by car, and others differed by using their cars as a means of mobility.

  • 지구 온난화 현상에 의한 환경 파괴로 이상기후 현상이 일어나고 있고 이로 인하여 환경 보호에 대한 관심이 증가했다. 많은 원인 중 하나인 이산화탄소의 배출량 감소를 위해 노력하고 있으며, 최근 IT기술과 융합을 통해 안전성이 뛰어난 Smart car의 개념으로 인해 갈수록 큰 전력량을 요구 하고 있다. 기존의 12V 전기 시스템은 한계에 도달 했으며, 이를 충족 시키기 위해 48V 시스템의 도입을 추진하고 있다.

  • 스마트카는 차량 내 정보를 통합 관리하고, 운전자가 차 안에서 오락, 정보 등 다양한 콘텐츠를 즐길 수 있는 차로 스마트폰 등 모바일 기기와 이동통신 기술을 자동차에 접목하여 편의성을 높이고 고객의 니즈에 부응하는 차세대 자동차이다. 교통사고를 획기적으로 줄이고 사고 피해를 최소화해주며, 자동차 주행을 효과적으로 할 수 있게 해 환경 오염도 줄일 수 있다. 본고에서는 차세대 자동차로 부상하고 있는 스마트카의 기술동향 및 국내외 자동차 업체들의 서비스 현황을 분석하고자 한다.

  • In the commercial trains, there are monitors hung on the ceiling which simply display broadcasted contents so a passenger in a cabin has only one choice of passively watching them or not. To lead the application of IT in railway, keep a passenger from tedious journey, or help a passenger having a productive time, an MCS(Multimedia Contents System) was analyzed, designed, and implemented. A passenger can select and use a content from a smart terminal that is attached at the passenger's seat. A smart terminal is one that has its own memory and processor to handle informations and interact with a user. In this paper, the contents, such as train schedule, transfer information, traveling information, e-book, TV, music, and game, that the MCS can provide were introduced. To validate the applicability of the MCS on a next generation high-speed train, a testing environment will be set on a pre-production car and tested. The successful installation of the MCS will boost up the competitive power of the next generation train in the world market.

  • IoT should be considered security risk environments such as various platforms and services including smart devices that can be mounted on household electric appliances, healthcare, car, and heterogeneous networks that are connected to the Internet, cloud services and mobile Apps.. In this paper, we provide analysis of new security threats, caused by open-platform of IoT and sensors via the Internet. Also, we present the key recovery mechanism that is applied to IoT. It results to have compatibility with given research, reduces network overhead, and performs key recovery without depending on key escrow agencies or authorized party.

  • 최근 IT기술과 산업 간 융합이 활발한 가운데 자동차에도 각종 첨단 IT기술이 접목되면서 운전자의 안전과 편의성이 향상된 스마트카(smart car)가 속속 개발되고 있다. 가까운 미래에 스마트카의 도움으로 운전자가 전방주시 의무에서 자유롭게 될 수 있게 되면, 운행 중에 언제 어디서나 모바일 인터넷을 통한 정보접근이 가능하도록 지원하는 컴퓨팅 환경인 자동차 사물인터넷(Internet of Vehicles, Automotive IoT)이 중요하게 대두될 것으로 전망된다. 자동차 사물인터넷의 개념이 아직은 명확히 잡혀있지 않지만, 대체로 모바일 연결성(mobile connectivity)을 중심으로, 교통안전 혼잡해소뿐만 아니라 다양한 사용자 맞춤형 서비스 산업을 창출할 수 있는 컴퓨팅 환경을 의미한다. 즉, 운전자와 자동차, 자동차와 주변환경 및 교통인프라, 그리고 일상생활의 모든 요소가 자동차를 매개로 해서 유기적으로 연결되는 컴퓨팅 환경을 의미하며, 가까운 미래에 이런 컴퓨팅 환경을 지원하는 자동차가 상용화될 것으로 전망된다. 본고에서는 이러한 전망을 반영하여 자동차 사물인터넷 환경의 스마트카에 적용될 주요 기술과 서비스를 분석하고, 스마트카와 자율주행의 핵심기술인 인포테인먼트 플랫폼의 주요 동항 및 이슈를 살펴보고자 한다.
