This study deals with problems of technical assistance through accidents analysis and questionnaires on small-sized construction sites which are difficult to understand real condition and administrate legally and indicated following efficient methods of technical assistance. (1) Ensuring access to the small-sized construction sites. (2) Delegation technical assistance service to civilian and supporting selected. (3) Raising of the person's safe consciousness concerned with the small-sized construction sites. (4) Safety consulting for the head office of small-sized construction sites.

This paper presents the safety performance of domestic small-sized construction companies including the characteristic and current status of safety management actions of the firms. Safety performance both at the head office and job sites of each construction companies, which are divided two groups by construction capacity ranking, are investigated. The investigation results on the small-sized construction companies in this study was compared with those of on the large and medium-sized construction companies studied in existing papers. General recognition that there is a wide difference of safety performance among domestic construction companies by construction capacity ranking was companies by this study. Especially, Data analysis shows that the safety performance of the small-sized companies has the larger difference than large and midium-sized companies.

Accident of small and medium-sized construction sites happens much than large-sized construction sites. The safety consulting for accident prevention of construction sites has been launched in 1995. This research probed latency accident of small and medium-sized construction sites. By method, we used that result data of safety consulting for accident prevention of small and medium-sized construction sites. As a result a fall was examined by the most latency accident factor. In this study, a fall and electric shock, descent, fall down in ground, a fire was examined weighty accident factor of small and medium-sized construction sites.

Currently, safety accidents in construction area are managed regardless of the size. Therefore, the objective of this study is to conduct for developing the quantitative risk assessment according to large and small and medium-sized construction sites. The scope of this study is limited to the fall accidents which is the biggest accidents in the construction sites. the regression analysis was conducted based on the collected data. As a result, it was confirmed that there was a statistically significant difference between larce and small and medium-sized construction sites. This study is expected to be used as basic data for research on the development of a risk quantitative model for small and medium-sized construction sites in the future.

Almost accidents in construction sites are occurred by unsafe work conditions and failure making safe environment. As recent construction projects become more complex, various and diversified, So the potential of construction-related accidents is increased as well. Comparing the frequency of construction-related accidents in large-sized construction sites, small-sized construction sites are more vulnerable because of lack of workforce and less effective technology system. Furthermore, the absence of safety committee, poor financial condition leads to lack of safety education, installation of safety facilities, and provision of individual protective equipment, which indicates difficulties handling even basic safety management. Therefore, in order to lower the hazard rate at small-Sized construction sites, it is necessary to proceed with more structural and thorough actions for preventing accidents. In other words, it is necessary to analyze the causes of the accidents at small-sized construction sites, set criteria for safety management, and suggest safety management items according to work classification by evaluating the relative importance of the items.

There has been an increase in fire/explosion accidents caused by chemical substances used in new small/medium sized construction, reconstruction, or extension sites. There is vast room for improvement, especially in safety training, safety inspection, and selection of countermeasures because training, technicality, and management systems regarding fire/explosion risks in small/medium sized construction sites are very immature in most cases. The purpose of this study is to propose a differentiated technical, educational, and management application plan for preventative management of fire/explosion accidents caused by chemical substances used in small/medium sized construction sites.

After the sailing of WTO setup, The opportunity of a trade range extension is provided. OECD joining the change of the domestic construction industry. In 1994, The complete opening of a construction license was allowed As a result, The number of construction companies was increased rapidly. accordingly, We are faced with the new over competition and the problem of the financial difficulty. This paper proposes the plan for the practical technology of the small and middle sized construction companies to be improved and the plan for the working environment of small and middle sized construction companies to be improved. As a method for it, This paper proposes the Losicstics System of the construction.

중소규모업체가 한 나라의 경제에서 차지하고 있는 비중과 영향력은 매우 크다. 지금까지 경제시장에서 과소평가되어 온 많은 중소규모업체들이 제조업을 중심으로 한 해외시장에서 큰 두각을 나타내면서 기존의 이러한 시각에 큰 변화를 주고 있다. 특히, 국내시장의 한계를 벗어나려는 중소규모 건설업체 입장에서 급속도로 글로벌화 되고 있는 해외건설시장에서의 발전 가능성은 매우 잠재력이 크다. 그러나 아직까지 해외건설시장에 중소규모업체의 역할은 매우 미미한 수준이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내 중소규모 건설업체의 해외진출을 활성화하기 위해 가능성과 의지가 있는 중소규모 건설업체를 그룹 별로 분류하여 해외진출 활성화 방안을 각 그룹 별로 제시하고자 한다. 1996년부터 2005년까지 ENR(Engineering News Record)지에 등록된 해외 선진건설업체의 해외공사 비중을 분석하고 해외건설시장에 기 진출한 국내 건설업체의 해외공사 비중과 법적 근거를 반영하여 국내 중소규모 건설업체의 분류 기준을 새롭게 제시하였다. 마지막으로 전문가 인터뷰 방식을 실시하여 새롭게 정의된 국내 중소규모 건설업체들의 각 그룹 별 해외진출 활성화 방안을 제시하였다.

Korean construction industry has developed with national economy growth for a couple of decades. However, because of slump of real estate, the domestic construction industry was intimidated. In this situation, many construction company has no choice but to go abroad to find construction projects. However, almost small or medium-sized construction companies are very hard to operate their business because they have small funding ability and weak labor power. Therefore, this study aims to propose an assessment tool through analyzing risk factors of overseas construction projects for small or medium-sized companies by examining preceding research and interviewing industry experts. Weights of the risk factors are determined through the surveys of the industry practitioners. All of the data is configured into the assessment tool and this converts the quantitative information which leads to the optimal of strategies choice. This paper provides a quantitative measurement of possible performance and detailed assessment of each itemized risk factors. This assessment tool is qualified for industry experts so that it can safely be applied to the future projects. Ultimately, many small or medium sized construction companies will benefit from the tool proposed in this study to examine the potential of the overseas market expansion.

국내 건설경기 침체로 조경건설업체의 수익성이 저하되면서 이를 극복할 수 있는 대안이 요구되고 있으며, 조경분야에서는 해외건설시장 진출을 적극적으로 추진하고 있다. 하지만 중소 조경건설업체들은 해외진출을 위한 내부 역량과 사전 준비가 미흡하여 다양한 리스크에 직면하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 성장잠재력이 높은 베트남 건설시장을 대상으로 진출환경 및 리스크 요인을 분석하고, 중소 조경건설업체의 수주경쟁력 향상을 위한 대응방안을 마련하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 해외건설 전문가 6명을 대상으로 심층인터뷰를 수행하였으며, 베트남 진출환경 및 리스크 요인을 도출하고, 이에 대응할 수 있는 진출전략을 제시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 베트남은 인프라 및 주택 수요 증가에 따른 조경분야 진출기회가 확대될 것으로 예상되지만, 베트남의 사업 환경의 변화는 중소 조경건설업체의 진출가능성에 변수가 될 것으로 보인다. 둘째, 중소 조경건설업체의 베트남 진출 리스크 요인은 법과 규정, 정부재정상태, 시장변동, 행정체계, 최저임금 상승, 자금조달 및 보증, 계약, 수목 및 자재, 설계오류로 도출하였다. 셋째, 중소 조경건설업체의 베트남 진출전략은 단기 전략과 중장기 전략으로 제시되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 중소 조경건설업체의 베트남 진출을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있으며, 향후 조경분야의 해외진출 활성화에 기여할 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
