This paper describes the reasons for enterprises to implement the ISO 14001 standard, the definition of a small-and-medium sized enterprise in Taiwan, characteristics of the small-and-medium sized enterprises, the problems faced by the enterprises exporting their products and the implementation of ISO 14001 standard for the small-and-medium sized manufacturing industries in Taiwan.

This paper proposes an e-business maturity model for small and medium-sized enterprises. The model consists of five maturity levels, which are on-line access, on-line business, matured on-line business, and full on-line business from least matured level to most matured level. The model can be used to assess e-business maturity level of individual enterprises. individual enterprise's maturity level can be assessed by examining sample check lists. Additionally, this paper summarizes the results of an application of the proposed model to a couple of small and medium-sized enterprises. This model can also be used to suggest what individual enterprises need to be upgraded towards higher maturity level.

This paper presents the safety management model, which is appropriate for small-to-medium enterprises that rank the highest disaster rate. It is required for these companies to modify and improve the safety-related articles and it is peformed to compare and analyze the industrial disasters and safety management systems between large enterprises and small-to-medium enterprises. The basic direction of change of industrial safety healthy system must be classified to the dual direction. For large enterprises, it is focused on not pre-regulations but post-regulations based on the self-control safety management system. But for small-to-medium enterprises, it is required to intensify the safety management system and the safety responsibility for owners or administrators. Specially, the responsibility for disaster must be more strengthened by the penalty and the insurance method, and then it must be performed not only the financial support of government but also middle and long-term technical support by private safety organizations.

This research investigates the determinants of investment capital size in Vietnam's small and medium-sized firms. The study employs a sample of 458 small and medium-sized enterprises in the country. The study is based on data collects in the areas of Hanoi, Bac Can, Buon Ma Thuot and Pleiku Provinces at time series data of October 2019. This study also identifies the factors that affect the size of investment capital in medium and small-sized enterprises in Vietnam. Data are processed via STATA 14.0 and SPSS 20.0 software. The research results indicate that (1) business lines, (2) import and export business, (3) type of business registration, (4) business location, (5) operating time, and (6) the percentage of the organization's capital contribution are factors that impact on the size of the investment capital of the business. Business line and business location have negative impacts on investment capital size. The operating time, the percentage of the organization's capital contribution, import and export business, and the type of business registration have positive impacts on investment capital size. In addition, the findings of this study also suggest that the operation time has the highest impact on investment capital size of the small and medium-sized firms in Vietnam.

In this paper, we wish to develop suitable TPM Model (C-TPM) in Korea's medium and small enterprises. TPM technique was informed well and there are a lot of success instances but there was problem that is not fitness in medium and small enterprises. In this study, we propose C-TPM model in medium and small enterprises by examining TPM success example variously. This model construction constructed based on medium and small enterprises field supervision and experience, and verification of model is assignment late.

환경오염과 지구 온난화가 더욱 더 심각해지면서 녹색 경영이 중소기업에 더욱 더 중요해지고 있다. 본 연구는 중소기업의 녹색 경영 성과에 양(+)의 영향을 미치는 요인들을 분석하기 위해 한국의 2,200개의 중소기업 데이터를 대상으로 실시한 최소자승 회귀분석 결과를 통해 다음과 같은 두 가지 주요 시사점들을 제공한다. 첫째, 중소기업의 외부 기술 연구개발 정보 네트워크의 다양성은 기술 연구개발로 인한 녹색 경영 성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 중소기업의 기술개발로 인한 생산 공정의 개선은 외부 기술 연구개발 정보 네트워크의 다양성이 기술개발로 인한 녹색 경영 성과에 미치는 양(+)의 영향을 부분적으로 매개 한다.

대기업과 중소기업 간의 도움이 필요한 부분을 서로 보완시키는 상생협력방안은 우리나라 실정에 맞게 선진국의 장점을 토대로 구성하며 중소업체를 선정하는 데에 필요한 여러 항목들이 일반기업체들과는 달리 식품안전이라는 문제를 다룬다는 특징이 있어 이 부분은 통괄적인 지원이 적용되기도 한다. 협력을 통해 지원함에 있어서 기술, 자본, 교육외에도 다양한 영역을 고려하여 발전시켜 나아가야 할 것이다. 식품산업에서 미래의 상생협력의 방향은 각 개인의 특성에 따른 맞춤형 형태를 취하게 되므로 인공지능, 사물인터넷, 블록체인, 5G, 3D프린터 등 미래 유망 혁신기술을 바탕으로 하여 상생협력이 가능할 것으로 보인다. 제도 운영에 따른 비리 발생 가능성을 차단할 수 있는 방안도 모색하여 지속적으로 발전할 수 있는 방향으로 운영되었으면 한다. 여기서 언급된 사항들의 일부는 이미 기업에서 부분적으로 시행하고 있는 것들도 있다. 앞으로 많은 기업체들이 상생협력 프로그램에 적극 참여하길 바라면서 아울러 그런 시행을 하기에 앞서 참고가 될 만한 사항을 정리한 것이다. 아무쪼록 대기업의 매력적인 부분과 중소기업의 능력들이 서로 조화를 이루면서 부족한 부분을 채워 최대한의 효과를 산출함으로써 우리나라 식품산업체의 발전을 가져 오기를 기대한다.

이 연구는 1999~2014년의 16년간 19개 제조업 중분류 산업들의 패널 자료를 사용하여 위탁대기업과 협력중소기업 간의 임금격차 확대 영향요인을 분석하고자 하였다. 분석결과에 의하면, 위탁대기업의 노동투입과 협력중소기업 납품생산물 사이의 대체탄력성은 1보다 유의하게 작게 나타났는데, 고용보호 수준이 높은 위탁대기업 근로자들의 임금상승은 총비용에서 차지하는 임금비용점유율을 높이고 협력중소기업 납품생산물의 비용점유율을 감소시키는 결과를 초래하였다. 이는 결국 납품가격과 협력중소기업 근로자 임금에 음(-)의 영향을 미쳐 위탁대기업과 협력중소기업 간의 임금격차를 더욱 확대하는 결과로 해석될 수 있을 것이다. 또한, 위탁대기업 근로자들의 노동조합 가입 수준과 경제개방도의 상승 역시 이러한 효과를 확대하는 방향으로 작용하였다. 기업규모 간 임금격차 확대 완화와 노동시장 양극화 억제를 위해서는 대기업 수준에서의 유연한 임금체계 도입과 협력중소기업 근로자들과의 현실적인 공동교섭방안, 그리고 협력중소기업 근로자들을 위한 인재양성 및 직업능력개발의 획기적인 사회적 장치 구축노력을 제안하고 있다.

Purpose - From the advanced path of development and current situation, the development of enterprises plays a tremendous role in promoting national economic growth and raising the overall national strength. Therefore, this paper aims at examining the mutual effect between small & medium enterprises and economic growth. Research design, data, and methodology - In order to address the operating mutual effect between the small & medium enterprises and economic growth more clearly, this paper sets Alibaba Group and Hangzhou as an example. Meanwhile, the annual data from 2000 to 2017 will be employed, and an empirical analysis will be performed under the vector error correction model. Results - The findings display that the total revenue of Alibaba Group has a positive effect on economic growth in city of Hangzhou. However, the Granger Causality test implies that there is only a unidirectional causality between total revenue of Alibaba Group and economic growth in Hangzhou. More specifically, 1% increase in total revenue of Alibaba Group can result in 0.272% in economic growth of Hangzhou in the long run. Conclusions - In summary, for the long run, the local governments should promulgate a series of policies to assist the small & medium enterprises like Alibaba Group to improve the local economic growth as seen in the city of Hangzhou.
