The purpose of this study was to show how to organize small groups on the project method class in technical high school. The subjects of this study were two classes including 40 second-year students (20 students in each class) of architecture design course in D technical high school located in Taejeon metropolitan city. The method of this study was to investigate the ego-state by the ego-gram practicing Transactional Analysis. Total 10 small groups were organized. Each group had 4 members. And the same quality of egostate small group was organized by the 4 students who have high score on NP and AC. The different in kind small group was organized by the 4 students, each of whom has NP leading, A leading, FC leading and AC leading score. After the target small group was video- taped, students' verbal interaction was written into transcripts. Their individual states were analysed by the frame of verbal interaction. The result of this study was that the same quality of TAOK small group had more active interaction(110 times) than different in kind small group(87 times). The frequency of complementary transaction was also higher plenty in the same quality of TAOK small group.
This study aims to investigate the effects of the size of operator's hand and the use of foot on the production quantity and product quality. To find out the facts the survey is conducted by measuring the hand size for the worker who is randomly chosen and by grouping them into the large hand size group and small hand size group on the base of the measuring data. The grouped operators are assigned to their job as usual, and their daily production quantities and qualities are measured. The survey shows that the production quantity of the small hand group are higher than the large hand group, and the number of defects of the small hand group are less than the large hand group.
The variations of both thiamine and riboflavin value in the organs, viz. liver, small intestine, spleen and kidney of the rats were measured for observing some metabolic changes in the animals during fasting and feeding different quality of diets without V-E supplement. The animal used for the experiment was adult female ablino rat from a pure strain, weighing 225-280g. The animals were divided into 6 groups; the control group, the high carbohydrate diet group, the high carbohydrate diet with V-E group, the high protein diet group, the high protein diet with V-E group, and fasting group. The result obtained are summarized as follows; 1. The thiamine contents in the liver were once increased during early stage of starvation compared with the control group, thereafter they were decreased on the 8 days fasting while the contents in the small intestine and spleen were decreased during 1 to 8 days fasting. 2. The riboflavin contents in the liver and kidney were increased during starvation and the content in the small intestine was no marked change compared with control group. 3. The thiamine contents in the liver and small intestine during feeding the high carbohydrate with V-E supplement diet group were lower than that of the diet without V-E group and the content in the spleen was increased by feeding V-E enriched high carbohydrate diet. 4. The thiamine contents in the liver, small intestine and spleen during feeding the V-E supplemented diets were lower than that of the non-supplemented one's. 5. The riboflavin contents in the liver, small intestine, and kidney were increased during feeding the high carbohydrate diet compared to the control group, and they were decreased during feeding the V-E enriched high carbohydrate diet. 6. The riboflavin contents in each organ were increased during feeding the high protein diet compared to the control group, and they were much increased during 20 to 30 days of feeding the V-E supplemented high protein diet. 7. Therefore, as the above results showed, the variation of thiamine value in the each organs were not markedly changed during feeding different quality of the diets. The thiamine and riboflavin contents in the each organ in the V-E enriched high carbohydrate diet group were lower than without V-E supplemented one's The riboflavin contents in each organ were increased during feeding the high protein diet compared with the control group and the centents were increased during 20 to 30 days of the feeding V-E enriched high protein diet.
The objective of this study is to analyze the formative attributes of face by measuring the shape and features of face. The faces of women in 20's were taken by digital camera and measured, then it has conducted a statistical analysis using a SPSS for factor analysis, correlation and cluster analysis. The findings are that it is consisted of six(6) different factors and it is responsible for 73.93%. In Factor 1 and Factor 2, it has explained the most significant factor to determine the shape of face. The result on cluster analysis is that it is classified into 5 groups and it is as follows. Attributes of each group is that Group 1 has a wide and long forehead, small and longish chin-line and chubby cheeks that represent polished and modern images, while Group 2 has small and longish forehead and chin-line that represent classical and mature images. On the other hand, Group 3 has a narrow forehead, small and longish chin-line and upward-style eyebrows that represents provocative images, whereas Group 4 has a shaped style that represent intellectual images and Group 5 has small and longish forehead and chin-line and cheekbones that represent polished and cute images.
Universities have recently introduced problem-based learning (PBL) to various subjects to enhance problem-solving skills (including self-directed learning and small-group learning) required in industry. The PBL module was applied to the personal production process in a draping class. A study was based on a questionnaire after conducting two PBL modules with a group of students. Each PBL module included 'design analysis', 'presentation of flat sketch and draping plan', 'discussion of the plan', 'evaluation of the draping result and correcting the problem', and 'final evaluation of the completed project'. Results showed that satisfaction with the PBL method and its activities was higher than satisfaction with existing teaching methods. In particular, among the various components, the 'design analysis' and 'the presentation step of flat sketch and draping plan' stages were more helpful to students compared to small-group discussion. Moreover, the effects of PBL were observed through student reflection essays, in which students suggested that PBL was very effective in enhancing problem-solving through self-directed and small-group learning. Despite the overall satisfaction with PBL, students expressed some minor difficulties associated with awkwardness with a novel learning method, lack of diverse perspectives among each group, and poor communication skills. Therefore, the study shows that PBL is highly likely to be useful to students when they are solving pattern drafting problems and making samples through self-directed learning and small-group learning.

In this study, we attempted to analyze the status of meal nutritional management at daycare centers and determine whether the need for improvement varies depending on their size. We divided into two groups based on the size of foodservice facilities. If meals for more than 50 people are provided at a time, they are classified as large-scale facilities (Large-scale group). If they are smaller, they are classified as small-scale facilities (Small-scale group). Dietitians visited each daycare center and checked 5 categories and 14 items. When comparing 5 categories, scores in the Small-scale group scored higher than those in the Large-scale group for 'Menu utilization' category. As a result of comparing the detailed 14 items, the scores of 'Indicate dietary information', 'Use menus suitable for those who are eligible for meals', and 'Posting menus by age in public places at foodservice facilities' were higher in the Small-scale group than in the Large-scale group. As such, there are differences in meal nutritional management according to the size of children's foodservice facilities therefore, it was found that customized education and management were needed according to the facilities' size.
This study focuses on event-driven social media (EDSM), which supports the production of unique cultural items of small groups by satisfying the conflicting desires of distinctiveness and assimilation that small groups possess. EDSM is a system which promotes the production of idioculture through small group interaction by using an actual event in which people participate in small groups. By setting up an EDSM system in a university festival in which 10,000 to 15,000 people gather in small groups, idioculture production was tested for approximately eight hours and a half. Interaction records gathered from the test, as well as focus group interview data garnered soon after were used to analyze usage patterns of EDSM, types of idiocultures produced, and resulting factors of user experience. Through this, considerations upon designing future EDSM were proposed.

In this study, discourse patterns of four peer small groups in learning science concepts were examined. Verbal interactions during small group discussions were audio- and video-taped, transcribed, and analyzed. Three coding frameworks for the levels of turns, interaction units, and episodes were developed. In the analyses of turns, no clear relationships between students' prior achievements and contributions to knowledge building processes were found. Partly participating modes and symmetrical interaction modes were dominant in the analyses of interaction units to suggest that some students did not participate actively in small group discussions and that students' verbal interactions were superficial. The analyses of episodes also indicated that agreeing and/or partial elaborating on group members' ideas were the most frequent patterns and dialectical exchanges were rare in small group discussion.
The purpose of this study is to find the correlation between elements of resilience and small group activities in the university, and to explore small group activities as a protective and a positive factor in controlling the stress of college students. As the first part of the study, positive roles of resilience to the stress of college students and the elements that promote the efficiency of resilience are analyzed. The study precedent in detail and four elements of resilience are presented as following; optimistic realism, vitality, ability to control emotion, and interpersonal ability, addressing the faith in God is one of the strong positive factors for developing resilience. Then, this study deals with how the four elements of resilience relates to the characteristics of small group activities. In conclusion, this study suggests Christian universities to develop small group activities because they can develop each of the four elements of resilience of college students. Christian universities have a missional duty and the responsibility to help college students experience real happiness in their lives. Therefore, if Christian universities understand the effectiveness of resilience of college students and find out the correlation between resilience and faith, they can help students not only to live a positive life in their generation, but also to experience the authentic happiness.
