  • Most of the small-type fishing boats in this country don't have the autopilot system such as the large ships have. In this papers, we describes on the development of electro magnetic compass for the autopilot system of the small-type fishing boat, which is utilized the MR(magnetic resistance) device and the inclination sensor. And we investigated the validity of the developed electro magnetic compass through results of actual experiment.

소형어선용 어창내의 열 유동특성 해석 (Numerical Analysis of Fluid and Thermal Characteristics on Live Fishing Tank of Small Fishing Boat)

  • The depression of the external situation like the departure of WTO system and the plan of EEZ proclaim is forcing fishery into improving their fishing condition. By this international and domestic circumstance, development of the sea water cooling apparatus for fish hold storage is demanded sincerely. This study represents the thermal characteristics of the fish hold storage during transportation. The numerical analysis in this study is the finite volume method with the SIMPLE computational algorithm to study the seawater flow behavior in the fish hold storage. The computation were carried out with the variations of the circulating flow velocity and depth of fish hold storage. As the result of the three dimensional simulations, the mean temperature doesn't almost change by the circulating flow rate. find the mean temperature is suddenly changed by the ratio of depth of fish hold storage.

심층신경망을 이용한 어선의 운동응답 추정 (Motion Response Estimation of Fishing Boats Using Deep Neural Networks)

  • 최근에 선박을 안전하게 설계 및 운항하기 위해 인공지능으로 운동성능을 예측하는 연구가 늘고 있다. 하지만 일반적인 선박에 비해 소형 어선에 대한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 소형 어선의 운동성능 계산에 필수적인 운동응답을 심층신경망으로 추정하는 모델을 제안한다. 15척의 소형 어선에 대하여 유체동역학 해석을 수행하였으며 이를 통해 데이터베이스를 구축하였다. 환경 조건과 주요 제원을 입력 데이터로, 단위 파고에 대한 운동응답(Response Amplitude Operator)을 출력 데이터로 설정하였다. 훈련된 심층신경망 모델을 통해 예측된 운동응답은 유체동역학 해석 결과와 유사한 경향을 보이며 고주파 성분을 가진 운동응답 함수를 낮은 오차로 근사하는 결과를 보여준다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 어선의 선형 특성 고려한 심층신경망 모델로 확장하여 연구 결과의 활용도를 넓히고자 한다.

선미식 안강망 어구의 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design of the Stern Stow Net)

  • Because stow net being used in now is doing throwing net and hauling net through a ship's side, the work is very complicated and the fishing boat needs many seamen and it could cause a loss of lives and ship in stormy weather. We are now using small mesh size 36~500mm and it even catches young fish, so we call it the fishing gear of resource reduction type.Therefore we must make manpower reduction in automatic operation, safe operation of throwing net and hauling net in the stern and the stern-typed stow net of resource management using large mesh. And we performed three-typed model tests to examine the fishing gear. The obtained results are as follows;1. The fishing gear being used in the ship's side type stow net has inappropriate standard and arrangement of the net, resistance increase of the fishing gear and frequent breakdown of the net.2. To supplement the fault of A-typed stow net, we schemed fishing gear developed as both B-type(12-seamed net) and C-types(8-seamed net) of the stern-typed stow net. 3. In model tests, C-typed model net(mesh size 40~1,600mm) was proved good fishing gear because the resistance in accordance with the flowing speed was comparatively small and it's mouth area was broad. 4. A-typed stow net had the spreading device attached to side panel of the net, but the stern-typed stow net had the spreading device consisted of 4 lines far behind about 6m from side panel of the net mouth. In the flowing speed 2knot, the spreading condition of fishing gear was proved batter than the former.

  • 현재 사용되고 있는 소형 레이더 장치는 타선의 진운동정보(진침로, 진속력)나 충돌회피정보(CPA, TCPA) 및 주위 상황 변화에 대한 다양한 물표 정보를 제공할 수 없는 문제가 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 문제에 주목하여 일반 소형 어선에 탑재되어 있는 저가형의 소형 레이더 장치로부터 analog video signal, trigger, bearing 및 heading pulse를 공급받아 현용의 자동 레이더 플롯팅 장치(Automatic Radar Plating Aid, ARPA) 레이더에서 제공하는 수준의 각종 정보를 정량적으로 추출 및 제공할 수 있는 레이더 목표 추출 장치(Radar Target Extractor, RTE)를 개발하여 소형 레이더 장치에 부착시켜 소형 연근해 어선에서도 타선의 진운동정보 및 충돌회피 정보와 같은 항해 정보를 수집, 활용할 수 있도록 하였다.

딥러닝을 이용한 연안 소형 어선 주요 치수 추정 연구 (A study on estimating the main dimensions of a small fishing boat using deep learning)

  • The first step is to determine the principal dimensions of the design ship, such as length between perpendiculars, beam, draft and depth when accomplishing the design of a new vessel. To make this process easier, a database with a large amount of existing ship data and a regression analysis technique are needed. Recently, deep learning, a branch of artificial intelligence (AI) has been used in regression analysis. In this paper, deep learning neural networks are used for regression analysis to find the regression function between the input and output data. To find the neural network structure with the highest accuracy, the errors of neural network structures with varying the number of the layers and the nodes are compared. In this paper, Python TensorFlow Keras API and MATLAB Deep Learning Toolbox are used to build deep learning neural networks. Constructed DNN (deep neural networks) makes helpful in determining the principal dimension of the ship and saves much time in the ship design process.

고속선형의 선수운동에 관한 연구 (A Study on Bow Motions of High Speed Vessel in Regular Head Waves)

  • The advanced researches of the ship's motion in the seaway can predict the heaving, pitching and slamming of ship's motion. The researches as of today are that of displacement type such as a small typical fishing boat and U, UV and V bow ship forms under low speed. In recent day, the study of behaviours of high speed planning boat in the regular waves has been carried out by Bessho [5]. The calculation about behaviours of a high speed vessel in the longitudinal regular waves is calculated by Ordinary Strip Method in this paper. The data of the results were discussed and compared with Bessho's results. The conclusions deduced from this study are as follow, (1) The acceleration of motion calculated by the O.S.M. is similar with Bessho's data for the Fn 0.5 (2) The amplitudes of the behaviours of motions take peak at 1.0<λ/L<1.4.

Hull Form Optimization of a Small Trimar:an by Model Testing

  • A 12 m long G/T 4.99 Class Trimaran is now under development at the Center for Transportation System of the Yellow Sea (CTYS) before deployed as a pleasure fishing boat along the west coast of Korean peninsula. The boats will be made of fiber reinforced plastics and equipped with a 360 hp diesel engine and a water jet propulsion system to propel the ship to reach maximum speed of 25knots after fully loaded. Model tests for hull form development of the Trimaran have been done at the towing tank of the Inha University. The influence of the spacing between main hull and outriggers and the longitudinal location of the outriggers have been carefully examined to find the optimal size and locations of the outriggers to improve both the resistance characteristics, and the results are reported in the present paper.

어로 작업용 연승기 전동기의 PWM 속도제어기에 관한 연구 (A Study on PWM Speed Controller for Long line Fishing Motor)

  • 전남 인근해역에서 많이 사용하는 어로 작업에 사용하는 연승기는 전동기와 2개의 디스크 롤러를 결합하여 1톤 미만의 소형 어선에서 많이 활용하고 있다. 연승기의 작업특성상 연승줄을 끌어 올릴 때 많은 부하가 필요하므로 연승기의 전동기도 단방향으로만 속도 조절을 하면 된다. 본 논문에서는 1톤 미만의 어선의 연승기에 주로 사용되는 400W 용량의 직류전동기를 대상으로 제어 회로를 구성하였으며, 연승기 전동기의 단방향 속도제어를 위해 PWM 전용칩, Half bridge driver 및 MOSFET를 이용하여 제어기를 제작하였다. 또한 현재 사용중인 대분분의 연승기에 빠져있는 배터리 잔량표시기, 배터리 과방전 방지 장치 및 배터리 결선 오류 방지기능 등의 보호기능을 부가하여 사용자 편의를 강화하였다. 이로 인해 배터리 전압이 11.5V 이하가 되면 전동기는 자동을 동작을 정지하여 배터리의 과방전을 막을 수 있었고, 어선 작업자의 빈번한 배터리 결선 실수를 방지하여 컨트롤러의 안전한 사용이 가능토록 하였다. 이러한 연승기를 실제 어로 작업에 시험운전결과 매우 양호하게 동작함을 확인할 수 있었다.
