<이타미 준의 바다>에 구성된 기억의 터와 디아스포라 기억 (The Sites of Memory and Diaspora Memory Constructed in (Jung Da-woon, 2019))

  • 본고는 기억, 기억의 터, 디아스포라, 정체성과 관련된 이론적·방법론적 논의를 바탕으로 재일 교포 또는 재일 동포로 호명되는 재일 한국인 건축가 이타미 준의 삶에 미친 기억의 터와 디아스포라 기억의 함의를 고찰하고자 했다. 이를 위해 이타미 준(한국명 유동룡)의 생애를 다룬 다큐멘터리 <이타미 준의 바다>를 분석대상으로 선정했다. 연구결과에 의하면, 전체 48개의 신으로 이야기가 구성된 <이타미 준의 바다>는 바다와 바다 사이의 이편(일본)과 저편(한국)을 기억의 터로 가정해 경계인이자 이방인으로 살아야 했던 이타미 준이 국적, 국경, 영토, 국가의 경계로부터 탈각해 있음을 강조한다. 특히 한국인 유동룡으로도 살아야 했던 이타미 준의 이야기는 바다를 과거와 현재를 관통하며 디아스포라 정체성을 탐색하는 통시적 공간(기억의 터)으로 설정했다. <이타미 준의 바다>에 구성된 이타미 준의 기억의 터는 그로 하여금 한국인으로서의 디아스포라 정체성을 더욱 확고하게 자각하게 하는 기억 공간이다.

A Genetic Algorithm for Directed Graph-based Supply Network Planning in Memory Module Industry

  • A memory module industry's supply chain usually consists of multiple manufacturing sites and multiple distribution centers. In order to fulfill the variety of demands from downstream customers, production planners need not only to decide the order allocation among multiple manufacturing sites but also to consider memory module industrial characteristics and supply chain constraints, such as multiple material substitution relationships, capacity, and transportation lead time, fluctuation of component purchasing prices and available supply quantities of critical materials (e.g., DRAM, chip), based on human experience. In this research, a directed graph-based supply network planning (DGSNP) model is developed for memory module industry. In addition to multi-site order allocation, the DGSNP model explicitly considers production planning for each manufacturing site, and purchasing planning from each supplier. First, the research formulates the supply network's structure and constraints in a directed-graph form. Then, a proposed genetic algorithm (GA) solves the matrix form which is transformed from the directed-graph model. Finally, the final matrix, with a calculated maximum profit, can be transformed back to a directed-graph based supply network plan as a reference for planners. The results of the illustrative experiments show that the DGSNP model, compared to current memory module industry practices, determines a convincing supply network planning solution, as measured by total profit.

함수 요약에 기반한 메모리 누수 정적 탐지기 (A Static Analyzer for Detecting Memory Leaks based on Procedural Summary)

  • C프로그램에서 발생할 수 있는 메모리 누수(memory leaks)를 실행 전에 찾아 주는 분석기를 제안한다. 이 분석기는 SPEC2000 벤치마크 프로그램과 여러 오픈 소스 프로그램들에 적용시킨 결과 다른 분석기에 비해 상대적으로 뛰어난 성능을 보여준다. 총 1,777 KLOC의 프로그램에서 332개의 메모리 누수 오류를 찾아냈으며 이 때 발생한 허위 경보(false positive)는 47개에 불과하다(12.4%의 허위 경보율). 이분석기는 초당720 LOC를 분석한다. 각각의 함수들이 하는 일을 요약하여 그 함수들이 불려지는 곳에서 사용함으로써 모든 함수에 대해 단 한번의 분석만을 실행한다. 각각의 함수 요약(procedural summary)은 잘 매개화 되어 함수가 불려질 때의 상황에 맞게 적용할 수 있다. 실제 프로그램들에 적용하고 피드백 받는 방법을 통해 함수가 하는 일중에 메모리 누수를 찾는데 효과적인 정보들만으로 추리는 과정을 거쳤다. 분석은 요약 해석(abstract interpretation)에 기반하였기 때문에 C의 여러 문법 구조와 순환 호출 (recursive call), 루프(loop)등은 고정점 연산(fixpoint iteration)을 통해 자연스럽게 해결한다.

  • Organic field-effect transistor (OFET) memory is an emerging device for its potential to realize light-weight, low cost flexible charge storage media. Here we report on a solution-processed poly[9,9-dioctylfluorenyl-2,7-diyl]-co-(bithiophene)] (F8T2) nano floating-gate memory (NFGM) with top-gate/bottom-contact device configuration. A reversible shift in the threshold voltage ($V_{Th}$) and the reliable memory characteristics were achieved by incorporation of thin Au nanoparticles (NPs) as charge storage sites for negative electrons at the interface between polystyrene and cross-linked poly(4-vinylphenol).

낸드 플래시 메모리와 PSRAM을 이용한 비동기용 불휘발성 메모리 모듈 설계 (Design of Asynchronous Non-Volatile Memory Module Using NAND Flash Memory and PSRAM)

  • In this paper, the design method of asynchronous nonvolatile memory module that can efficiently process and store large amounts of data without loss when the power turned off is proposed and implemented. PSRAM, which takes advantage of DRAM and SRAM, was used for data processing, and NAND flash memory was used for data storage and backup. The problem of a lot of signal interference due to the characteristics of memory devices was solved through PCB design using high-density integration technology. In addition, a boost circuit using the super capacitor of 0.47F was designed to supply sufficient power to the system during the time to back up data when the power is off. As a result, an asynchronous nonvolatile memory module was designed and implemented that guarantees reliability and stability and can semi-permanently store data for about 10 years. The proposed method solved the problem of frequent data loss in industrial sites and presented the possibility of commercialization by providing convenience to users and managers.

  • Five alloys were selected randomly in the composition range showing the best shape memory effect in Fe-Mn-Si system reported by Murakami. The shape memory effects of those alloys were mainly investigated through the training treatment which consisted of the repetition of 2% tensile deformation at room temperature and subsequent annealing at $600^{\circ}C$ above $A_r$ temperature. At the same deformation degress in rolling $600^{\circ}C$-annealing for 1 hr. showed the best shape memory effect, and 10%-deformation degrees represented maxima of the shpae memory effects at all annealing temperatures, $500^{\circ}C$, $600^{\circ}C$ and $700^{\circ}C$. The shape memory effects of the alloys were increased by increasing training cycle up to 5 cycles. This was because a large number of dislocations introduced by training process gave rise to increase in the austenite yield stress, and acted as nucleation sites for stress induced ${\varepsilon}$ martensite. The thermal cycling treatment, repetition of cooling in nitrogen at $-196{\circ}C$ and heating to $300^{\circ}C$ for 5 min., did not improve the shape memory effect.

긴급 매뉴얼 저장용 저전력 메모리 태그의 설계 (Design of A Low Power Memory Tag for Storing Emergency Manuals)

  • Since the communication networks like the Internet collapses at disaster and calamity sites, a maintenance system that can be operated offline is required for the maintenance of various facilities. In this paper, we propose a system that memory tags attached on the facilities may transmit the emergency manual to a smart-phone, and the smart phone displays it off-line. The main issue is to design low energy mode memory tags. This study presents two kinds of methods and analyzes each's energy consumption mode. The first one is to develop memory tags by using one chip, and the next one is to design memory tags by forming multi-modules. Both ways show proper application fields under the low energy mode. This research selects the off-line maintenance system by using one chip design, and proposes the direction of contents for enhancing the effectiveness of the system. And we expect that this memory tags will be valuable for disaster scenes as well as battle fields.

Places of Memory in the Collective Memory of Locals in Janghang, Korea

  • Place memory is a new way of seeing as a new concept of cultural landscape research. Various research works and discussions have recently spread in landscape studies. In particular, the, which is visible and material, is a medium in which collective memory is embedded in place memory. The purpose of this study is to extract places of memory from the collective memory of residents of Janghang, Korea, and to visualize it through semantic relations. For this purpose, semi-standardized interviews (34 persons) were conducted with residents, and frequency analysis and semantic network analysis were used. As a result, the interviewees recalled only 127 places in Janghang that existed between 1920 and 2010. Locals remember the city based on places of memory. This means that the city could be illustrated according to specific places that are frequently mentioned. For instance, the top 25 places (top 20%) explain 65.6% of all the places in the city, and the top 39 places (top 30.8%) could describe 78.7% of the places. Some places are referred to more frequently when they are in the city's symbolic landscape, and the city's identity is projected on them. Some places were mentioned only infrequently but were nevertheless very important places by which to understand Janghang. These places of memory have not appeared in the documentary records before, which shows the value of the collective memory of the locals and the effectiveness of the interviewing method. In the clustering of the semantic network, six groups of places appeared. The local residents remembered the modern industrial city and recalled it in connection with the sites of daily life. This shows the possibility of looking not only at public memory and famous heritage as a macro history but also at daily life and meaningful places as a micro history about locals. This study has significance as an initial research that identified and visualized places of memory from the perspective of local residents. Such an approach could be useful in the study of everyday life and the conservation of modern heritage.

5·18 사적지 기념공원화 계획 - 국군광주병원과 505보안부대 옛터를 대상으로 - (The Memorial Park Planning of 5·18 Historic Sites - For Gwangju Hospital of Korea Army and 505 Security Forces -)

  • 본 연구는 5.18민주화운동 이후 사적지로 지정되었던 국군광주병원과 505보안부대 옛터를 대상으로 역사적 사실을 바탕으로 한 시대적 특성을 공간설계 개념으로 설정해 기념공원화 계획안을 제시하였다. 광주광역시는 5.18사적지인 국군광주병원과 505보안부대 옛터를 5.18기념사업의 일환으로 공원화하고자 도시공원 조성계획을 수립하고, 역사에 대한 기억의 공간으로만 보존해왔던 대상지를 5.18민주화운동의 역사적 가치를 함양함과 동시에 시민 삶에 활력을 주는 공원으로 단계적 조성계획을 추진하고 있다. 결과적으로 5.18사적지의 공동체적 가치가 현대적으로 계승될 수 있도록 사회적 합의를 통해 단계별 계획, 조성과정의 틀을 설정하고, 상처의 치유, 역사의 기억을 담아내는 계획을 하고자 함이다. 계획안에서 사적지의 공원화와 관련된 선행연구 및 계획사례 분석을 통해 공간 활용을 위한 문제 해결적 접근방법을 제시하였고, 대상지가 갖고 있는 장소적 가치를 탐색함과 동시에 공원의 계획개념을 유지하면서 역사적 사실에 대한 시대적 특성을 담아내는 공간 활용 전략과 세부내용을 서술하였다. 연구의 결과로 국군광주병원 사적지는 5.18민주화운동을 통해 남겨진 상처에 대한 치유의 문제를 지역사회가 주체적으로 해결할 수 있도록 과거의 역사적 기억과 치유의 공원으로 계획하되, 기존 자연환경을 활용한 치유의 숲 개념을 제시하였고, 505보안부대 옛터 사적지는 5.18기억공동체의 확장과 지속성을 강화하는 측면에서 미래 세대인 어린이와 청소년이 공감할 수 있는 역사 체험 배움의 공간개념으로 계획하였다. 사적지를 활용한 기념공원화 계획은 계획 단계에서 시민, 관련단체, 전문가를 아우르는 사회적 공감대의 형성이 선결요건으로 작용하며, 장소성 재현을 위한 구성원들의 사회적 합의가 공간활용 방향 설정에 중요한 계획적 요소로 작용할 수 있다. 본 연구를 통해 5.18사적지에 역사적 가치를 담는 기념공원으로 환원하는 데 기여하고, 과거 역사에 대한 상처와 기억을 치유하는 장소를 넘어 도시와 시민의 삶에 활력을 주며, 미래 세대와의 공유할 수 있는 방향성을 제시한 것에 대한 의의가 있다.

대순진리회의 성지와 순례의 의미 (The meanings of Sacred places and Pilgrimages in Daesoonjinrihoe)

  • This paper provides the meaning of sacred places and pilgrimages in Daesoonjinrihoe, the most representative of the new religions in Korea. Daesoonjinrihoe stipulates Dojang(道場, it means temple complex) as the sacred places, which presently functions as the center of their religious faith. Also, The Daesoonjinrihoe devotees worship 15 deities at a sacred place, Yeongdae(靈臺). By seeing meanings of sacred places and pilgrimage in Daesoonjinrihoe, This article focuses on the process of the sacrificial rite of Daesoonjinrihoe related to the importance of religious ritual or place of faith and sacred places as pilgrimage sites. At this time, I explain the properties of sacrificial rite of it. The sacrificial rite of Daesoonjinrihoe, one of its major rites, is performed at both regular and irregular intervals. It is performed by either an individual or a group at a fixed time and place. The study of sacred places should focus not only artificial structures such as buildings but also the meanings given to them and the mechanism that created these meanings. Pilgrimage is journey undertaken by person who consider their destination sacred. By seeing meaning of pilgrimage, this paper focus on Daesoonjinrihoe' role in making a place pilgrimage sites and pilgrimage functions. The reason I focus on sacred places and pilgrimage in Daesoonjinrihoe is that these sacred places reflect people's attempt to invent religious memory and identity. Thus, I elucidate the role that Daesoonjinrihoe's sacred places and pilgrimage plays in remembering religious memory. I examine the messages that Daesoonjinrihoe's sacred places intend to convey to the followers through the created sacred places and pilgrimage. Sacred places are significant because it reflect important symbolic features of religion. Sacred places and pilgrimage are vehicles for remembering the religious memory and reinforcing various memories. Finally, Handing down of our valuable Daesoonjinrihoe's cultural heritage is our duty. So it is necessary to make an effort to conserve Daesoonjinrihoe's cultural heritage such as sacred places and concentration upon our interest continuously.
