Since 1990, North Korea's economic situation has drawn the international community's attention and became an important factor to analyze and judge the situation in North Korea, in the Korean Peninsula and even in the whole Northeast Asia. As North Korea's neighbors, Sino-Korean trade and Inter-Korean trade play an important role in North Korea's foreign trade. Based on situation analysis, the great connection and difference between Sino-Korean trade and Inter-Korean trade are given an introduction. Also by exploring reasons for Sino-Korean trade development, we can gather some insights for Inter-Korean trade development.

본 연구에서는 소무역을 둘러싼 다양한 행위 주체들의 관계를 중심으로 한 중 소무역의 성격을 규명하고, 소무역 활동이 직면하는 불확실성 내지 위험을 극복하기 위해 소무역상들이 동원하는 사회 자본을 중심으로 한 중 소무역의 운영 메커니즘을 밝혀보고자 했다. 한 중 소무역은 비공식적인 성격에도 불구하고 일자리 창출과 지역 경제의 활성화 및 이윤 추구 등 공식 부문이 당면하고 있는 사안들과 맞물리면서, 지방 정부와 세관, 기업, 그리고 해운사 등 공식 부문의 암묵적인 지원과 묵인 속에 운영되고 있다. 또한 한 중 소무역은 타 지역에서와 마찬가지로 그 운영에 있어 가족 네트워크, 민족네트워크, 사회적 네트워크 및 신뢰 등 사회 자본이 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다.

본 연구는 다수의 사람과 상품이 반복적으로 국경을 넘어 왕래하는 한 중 소무역, 일명 보따리 무역을 대상으로, 소무역의 등장 배경 및 성장 과정에서 한 중 여객 항로의 역할을 설명하고, 소무역의 규모와 소무역상의 조직, 그리고 소무역상의 구성 등의 변화를 살펴봄으로써 한 중소무역의 내적 변화과정을 규명하고, 한 중소무역에서 거래 품목의 특성과수출입 과정 및 소무역 결절지의 특성을 고찰함으로써 한 중 소무역의 공간적 특성을 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 위와 같은 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해, 한 중 소무역과 해운사의 관계를 논의했고, 한 중 소무역의 내적 변화를 소무역에 대한 규제 강화를 중심으로 고찰했으며, 한 중 소무역을 설명하기 위해 1980년대 말부터 소무역이 폭발적으로 증가한 구소련 및 중 동부 유럽의 소무역 현상에 관해 논의했다.

Regarding the ancient Sino-Kroea sea communication as the main theme, the propagation of the China-culture in Koran Peninsula and he influence of Chinese ancient shipbuilding technique for Korea are described in the paper. Frequent sea trade resulted in the flourishing of Chinese and Korean harbours on both side of Yellow Sea. Sino-Koran sea communication is of long-standing. Korean Peninsula (KP) is just as the large arm extended to the great sea from the North-east China. It is the Chinese mainland plate-lump's extended part in the Yellow Sea. In the ancient time, the land communication between China and Korea was often not unimpeded, the contact between China and KP, such as the South-Korea, depended on the sea communication mainly, Although the friendly relationship between China and Korea rose one after another in the various historical period, but considering from the great background of people's historical development, just as the modern people benefited fro the Europe-American culture, the people of ancient time also benefited from the China-culture. All China, KP and Japan obtained the development by propagating the ancient China-culture. The seagoing ships which carried out the Sino-Korea sea communication and trade, as the friendly envoys, finished the mission linked u and developed the Sino-Korea culture contact.

Purpose - This paper intends to make theoretical analysis and empirical test on the factors influencing China's export to South Korea, and draw conclusions about China's export efficiency and trade potential. Based on the conclusions, the reasons for China's trade deficit with South Korea are found, and a solution is put forward for solving the problem of China's trade deficit with South Korea. Design/methodology - Based on the data of 2004-2017 years in China, this paper uses the stochastic frontier gravity model to analyze the influencing factors of China's export to South Korea, as well as the export efficiency of each province and the export potential that can be explored. Findings - First, in terms of the factors affecting China's export trade to South Korea, the GDP of the provinces and cities in China, the FDI of South Korea to the provinces and cities in China, the GDP of South Korea, the population and education level of provinces and cities in China can significantly promote the export scale of Chinese provinces and cities to South Korea. The distance between Chinese provincial capitals and the South Korean capital significantly hinders Chinese exports to South Korea; Second, in terms of export trade efficiency, the trade exchange rate of the economically developed cities along the eastern coast of China and several provinces that are close to South Korea is higher than that of the cities in the central and western regions; Third, economic globalization makes trade more convenient, the average export trade efficiency of China's exports to South Korea showed an upward trend. However, under the influence of the 2008 global financial crisis, the export trade efficiency declined from 2008 to 2009, indicating that the impact of the financial crisis on the trade efficiency cannot be ignored. Originality/value - This paper finds out the influencing factors of China's export to South Korea, analyzes the export efficiency of different provinces and cities, excavates the export potential, and puts forward some suggestions for the balanced development of China and South Korea trade in the next step.

The purpose of this study is to understand the purchasing intentions of Chinese consumers to Huawei and other domestic brands in the context of the current Sino-US trade war. Taking the mass consumers as the research object, this paper designs Likert five-level scale to investigate consumers' purchase intention of domestic products in the future, and uses SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 statistical software to analyze and process statistical data. Using questionnaire survey and exploratory factor analysis, this paper constructs a model to analyze the impact of consumer ethnocentrism on consumers' purchase intention. By summarizing the overall purchasing intention of consumers, it is concluded that the development of domestic brands in the context of trade war is facing difficulties and challenges in the future, but at the same time, we must seize the opportunity of consumers' ethnocentrism under this background to positively influence their purchasing intention, make up for shortcomings, eliminate overcapacity, and seek greater development through technological innovation.

Since the last decade, the fisheries industry in Korea has faced many difficulties in terms of comparative economic advantage partly because of marine environmental damage caused by Pollution and coastal reclamation, and partly because of too expensive production factors like labor. In addition, new order of world trade created by Uruguay Round will force the Korean fisheries industry to prepare some remedies including a joint-venture business with China for international compatativeness. As a result, this paper mainly deals with an analysis on feasibility of Sino-Korean joint cooperation in fisheries business. Especially, the Shandong Province in China is expected to take advantage of its geographical proximity to Koreas well as of its abundance in marine natural resources in order to achieve a fast economic growth. Thus, for the next decade to come, it would be very important for the Korean fisheries industry to cope with the international fisheries market by the Sino-Korean joint-venture combining the capital and technology from Korea with the cheap labor and favorable marine environment for aquaculture from China.

문화인류학 관점에서 단둥은 민족 정체성 혹은 국민 정체성이 상이한 조선족, 한국사람, 북한사람, 북한화교 등 네 집단이 공존함으로써 국경의 의미가 재구성되는 예외적인 공간으로 정의되었다. 또한 경제학 일각에서도 단둥소재 기업들의 대북 무역과 투자활동을 분석함에 있어 기업주의 민족-국민 정체성 조합을 기준으로 한족, 조선족, 북한화교, 기타 기업으로 분류하고 사업 규모와 활동에 있어 차이가 있음을 밝혔다. 하지만 기존 연구는 민족-국민 정체성 조합이 상이한 집단을 구분하고 집단별 활동에 있어 차이만을 주목하여 개별 집단이 어떻게 자신의 이중 정체성을 상황과 현안에 따라 활용하는지 밝히지 못했다. 본 연구는 조선족 대북무역상을 대상으로 타집단과 상이한 자신의 이중 정체성을 선택적으로 활용하는 '정체성 저글링(identity juggling)'의 구체적 양태를 살펴보았다. 설문과 심층 인터뷰를 통해 조선족 무역상이 대북무역에서 우위를 점하기 위해 이중 언어 구사 능력을 활용하고 있음을 확인했다. 또한 비록 한국에 의해 정의되었지만 한민족으로서의 민족 정체성과 중국 공민으로서의 국민 정체성을 한국과 북한을 왕래하는 데 활용하면서 이동성을 높이고 있었다. 이와 더불어 향후 한반도 긴장 완화와 북한의 개혁개방 시 조선족 자신의 역할에 대한 기대에서도 정체성 저글링을 확인할 수 있었다.

Purpose - This paper assesses the trade potential and efficiency of Korea and China in the aquatic products trade. Trade efficiency and potential are the main factors that affect the growth of a country's trade. In this study, a time-varying stochastic frontier trade gravity model was constructed to analyze the trade potential and efficiency between Korea and China. By integrating the results of trade theory and empirical analysis, measures and suggestions were proposed to encourage the release of trade potential of fish exports between Korea and China. Design/methodology - In this paper, GDP per capita instead of economic size was chosen as an explanatory variable, and population size and relative distance were selected as explanatory variables to measure trade potential. For trade non-efficiency terms, regional organizations, political factors, and economic factors were mainly considered, and variables such as free trade agreements, political stability, regulatory quality, government efficiency, currency freedom, investment freedom, financial freedom, and trade freedom were selected. Panel data for South Korea and 14 aquatic products trading partners (including China) from 2002 to 2020 were used in the empirical analysis. Findings - In the past 19 years, South Korea's export trade potential of aquatic products to China has never been lower than 70%. It was above 90% from 2006 to 2018, and has been at a high level for a long time. This shows that China's aquatic product market has large potential for development. Originality/value - This study examines the effectiveness and potential of South Korea's exports of aquatic items to China in a methodical and comprehensive empirical manner. The evaluation of the export trade potential of South Korea's aquatic goods to China is more precise when the effects of regional organization, political, and economic variables are taken into account in the trade non-efficiency term of the stochastic frontier gravity model. At the same time, we propose to increase the scale of South Korea's aquatic products trade from the perspective of China's demand. This issue of trade studies is underexplored both empirically and in theory, although the issue has long been important to Korean and world trade.

The concept of Chang Po-Go phenomenon is put forward and discussed in this paper from the point of view of international rationships in north-east Asia. Superfically, Chang Po-Go phenomenon showed trade prosperity on north-east Asia seas, but he nature of the phenomenon lies in the rising and strengthening of korea sea power. As works of the combination of general environment and individual heroism Chang Po-Go phenomenon can bring us some enlightenment on reform and open policy.
