  • The single layer latticed dome is very sensitive on the slenderness ratio and half open angle of the elements, load condition and the connection type because it is organized by a lot of thin elements, so we have to use the geometrically nonlinear buckling load when the buckling behavior of the structures is analyzed But, it is very difficult to design the single layer latticed domes considered all conditions. Therefore the purpose of this paper is to propose the appropriate design method of the single layer latticed dome considered the geometrically nonlinear buckling load in base on the linear buckling load by the eigen-value analysis.

Development of Single-layer Glucose Sensor Using GDH-FAD (Glucose Dehydrogenase Flavin Adenine Dinucleotide)

  • We developed a glucose sensor using glucose dehydrogenase flavin adenine dinucleotide (GDH-FAD). The structure of the three-layer glucose sensor was simplified, in which a single-layer design was used to lower the unit cost, and GDH-FAD was used to increase the measurement reliability. GDH-FAD has less impact on the 20 interfering substances that affect blood glucose measurement, such as galactose and maltose compared to glucose oxidase (GOD), and is not affected by the oxygen saturation; therefore, it is possible to measure both arterial or venous blood and thus less susceptibility to hematocrit. In this study, we developed a single-layer glucose sensor strip with low hematocrit effect using the GDH-FAD enzyme, and measured and evaluated the performance.

영상 인식을 위한 생리학적 퍼지 단층 학습 알고리즘 (Physiological Fuzzy Single Layer Learning Algorithm for Image Recognition)

  • 본 논문은 기존의 퍼지 단층 퍼셉트론 알고리즘의 학습 시간과 수렴성을 개선하기 위해 인간 신경계의 생리학적 뉴런 구조를 분석하며 퍼지 논리를 이용한 새로운 뉴런 구조를 제시하고, 이를 바탕으로 생리학적 퍼지 단층 퍼셉트론(P-FLSP: Physiological Fuzzy Single Layer Perceptron)에 대한 학습 모형과 학습 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 학습 알고리즘의 성능을 평가하기 위해 Exclusive OR 문제, 3-bit parity 문제 그리고 차량 번호판 인식 문제 등에 적용하여 피곤의 피지 단층 퍼셉트론 알고리즘과 성능을 비교, 분석하였다. 실험 결과에서는 제안된 학습 알고리즘(P-FSLP)이 기존의 퍼지 단층 학습 알고리즘보다 지역 최소화에 빠질 가능성이 감소하였으며 학습 시간과 수렴성도 개선되었을 뿐만 아니라, 영상 인식등에 대한 응용 가능성도 제시되었다.

Step-Up 공법에 의한 단층래티스돔의 시공시 안정성 연구 (A Study on the Stability of the Single-Layer Latticed Dome during Erection Using the Step-Up Method)

  • The large-space single-layer lattice dome is relatively simpler in terms of the arrangement of the various framework members and of the design of the junction than the multi-layered lattice dome, can reduce the numbers and quantity of the framework members, and has the merit of exposing the beauty of the framework as it stands. The single-layer lattice dome, however, requires a stability investigation of the whole structure itself, along with an analysis of the stress of the framework members, because an unstable phenomenon called "buckling" occurs when its weight reaches critical levels. Many researchers have systematically conducted researches on the stability evaluation of the single-layer lattice dome. No construction case of a single-layer lattice dome with a 300-m-long span, however, has yet been reported anywhere in the world. The large-space dome structure is difficult to erect due to the gigantic span and higher ceiling compared with other common buildings, and its construction cost is generally huge. The method of erecting a structure causes major differences in the construction cost and period. Therefore, many researchers have been conducting various researches on the method of erecting such structure. The step-up method developed by these authors can reduce the construction cost and period to a great extent compared with the other general methods, but the application of this method inevitably requires the development of system supports in the center section as well as pre-existing supports in the boundary sections. In this research, the safety during the construction of a single-layer lattice dome with 300-m-long span using pre-existing materials was examined in the aspect of structural strength, and the basic data required for manufacturing the supports in the application of the step-up method developed by these authors during the erection of the roof structure were obtained.

  • 사회가 발전함에 따라 대공간 구조물의 필요성이 증대되고, 더 넓은 공간을 확보하려는 노력이 지속되고 있다. 그러나 기존의 방법으로는 공간의 확보에 있어서 기술적 어려움이 따른다. 본 논문에서는 단층 래티스 돔에 적용 가능한 용접 접합부를 제안함으로써, 기존의 단층 래티스 돔보다 더 넓은 공간과 안정성을 확보할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 또한, 제안된 용접 접합부를 바탕으로 하여, 유한요소해석과 실험을 통해 제안된 용접 접합부의 구조적 성능을 평가하고자 하였다.

학교 숲 식재구조에 따른 음이온 발생량 비교 분석 (A Comparative Analysis of Negative Air Ions according to the Planting Structure at School Forests)

  • 본 연구는 쾌적성을 증진시킬 수 있고, 인간의 건강에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있는 음이온을 평가인자로 설정하고, 학교별 녹지특성 및 배치, 기상요소를 구분하여 음이온 발생에 효과적인 학교숲 조성모델을 제시하고, 더 나아가 도시녹지 조성에 대한 기초자료로 제공하고자 하였다. 연구결과, 음이온의 경우 식재구조에 따라 차이가 있으며, 단층구조($934ea/cm^3$) > 다층구조($794ea/cm^3$) > 잔디($553ea/cm^3$) > 나지($529ea/cm^3$)의 순으로 분석되었다. 또한 기상요소와의 상관성의 경우, 기온과 부의 상관관계인 것으로 분석되었다. 분산분석 및 사후분석 결과, 식재구조의 차이에 따른 음이온발생량은 통계적으로 차이가 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 녹지구조에 따른 음이온농도의 차이는 다층구조보다 단층구조에서 더 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 이는 다층구조에서 단층구조보다 기온이 더 높게 측정되었는데, 선행연구 고찰결과, 음이온 발생원에서 일정거리 이내에서는 기온이 높을수록 음이온 농도가 낮아지기 때문인 것으로 사료되었다. 또한 풍속이 다층구조 식재구조보다 단층구조 식재구조에서 더 높게 측정되었는데, 음이온의 확산에 있어 단층구조 식재구조가 다층구조 식재구조에 비하여 수목에 의한 바람의 차폐가 상대적으로 덜 이루어져 음이온의 발생과 확산이 더 유리할 것으로 사료되었다.

저온 박막 공정으로 제작된 Au 적층형 다층 투명전극의 결정성장 거동과 광-전기적 특성 (Study on the Crystal Growth Behavior and Opto-Electrical Properties of Transparent Conducting Oxide Films with Au-Interlayer Fabricated by Using a Low-temperature Process)

  • Transparent conducting oxide films like ITO/Au/ITO and AZO/Au/AZO were fabricated with a sputter at a low-temperature of less then $70^{\circ}C$ and their crystallization and opto-electrical properties were studied. X-ray diffractiometry showed that single-ITO layer was amorphous, whereas, ITO of ITO/Au/ITO multi-layer was crystal. The ITO crystallization and its orientation depended on Au crystallization. Surface roughness of the ITO-multi-layers were in the range of 29-88% of that of ITO-single layer. ITO on amorphous gold layer had more rough surface than ITO on crystal gold. The gold layer between ITO improved electrical conductivity. Carrier density, mobility, resistivity and sheet resistance of ITO-single layer were $2.3{\times}10^{19}/cm^3$, $85{\times}cm^2$/Vs, $31{\times}10^{-4}{\Omega}cm$, and $310{\times}{\Omega}/cm^2$, respectively. Those of ITO/Au/ITO-multi-layers depended on Au-interlayer-thickness, which were in the range of $3.6{\times}10^{19}{\sim}4.2{\times}10^{21}/cm^3$, $43{\sim}85cm^2$/Vs, $0.17{\times}10^{-4}{\sim}25{\times}10^{-4}{\Omega}cm$, and $1.7{\sim}20{\times}{\Omega}/cm^2$, respectively. The sheet resistances of the single-layer ITO and the multi-layer ITO were 310 and $2.7{\sim}21{\Omega}/cm^2$, respectively. That of AZO/Au/AZO was $8.6{\Omega}/cm^2$, which was better than the single-layer ITO.

  • 팩시밀이나 복사기용으로 이용되는 micro lens array를 설계하였다. array 형태는 육각형배열이고 유효경은 0.160mm, 가장 가까운 이웃렌즈의 중심간 거리는 0.192mm로 하였다. 결상계의 횡배율은 1.0이다. single layer는 working distance가 10.55mm, double layer는 working distance가 7.90mm가 되었다. 각각의 성능은 ray fan을 계산하여 그 특성을 조사하였으며 서로 비교하였다.

Equivalent static wind load estimation in wind-resistant design of single-layer reticulated shells

  • Wind loading is very important, even dominant in some cases, to large-span single-layer reticulated shells. At present, usually equivalent static methods based on quasi-steady assumption, as the same as the wind-resistant design of low-rise buildings, are used in the structural design. However, it is not easy to estimate a suitable equivalent static wind load so that the effects of fluctuating component of wind on the structural behaviors, especially on structural stability, can be well considered. In this paper, the effects of fluctuating component of wind load on the stability of a single-layer reticulated spherical shell model are investigated based on wind pressure distribution measured simultaneously in the wind tunnel. Several methods used to estimate the equivalent static wind load distribution for equivalent static wind-resistant design are reviewed. A new simple method from the stability point of view is presented to estimate the most unfavorable wind load distribution considering the effects of fluctuating component on the stability of shells. Finally, with comparisive analyses using different methods, the efficiency of the presented method for wind-resistant analysis of single-layer reticulated shells is established.

A dominant vibration mode-based scalar ground motion intensity measure for single-layer reticulated domes

  • A suitable ground motion intensity measure (IM) plays a crucial role in the seismic performance assessment of a structure. In this paper, we introduce a scalar IM for use in evaluating the seismic response of single-layer reticulated domes. This IM is defined as the weighted geometric mean of the spectral acceleration ordinates at the periods of the dominant vibration modes of the structure considered, and the modal strain energy ratio of each dominant vibration mode is the corresponding weight. Its applicability and superiority to 11 other existing IMs are firstly investigated in terms of correlation with the nonlinear seismic response, efficiency and sufficiency using the results of incremental dynamic analyses which are performed for a typical single-layer reticulated dome. The hazard computability of this newly proposed IM is also briefly discussed and illustrated. A conclusion is drawn that this dominant vibration mode-based scalar IM has the characteristics of strong correlation, high efficiency, good sufficiency as well as hazard computability, and thereby is appropriate for use in the prediction of seismic response of single-layer reticulated domes.
