단권변압기 교류전기철도 급전시스템의 전차선 전압해석 (Analysis for Catenary Voltage of The ATs-Fed AC Electric Railroad System)

  • This paper presents exact Autotransformers(ATs)-fed AC electric Railroad system modeling using constant current mode for locomotives. An AC electric railroad system is rapidly changing single-phase load, and at a feeding substation, 3-phase electric power is transferred to paired directional single-phase electric power. As the train moves along a section of line between two adjacent ATs. The proposed AC electric railroad system modeling method considers the line self-impedances and mutual-impedances. The constant current mode model objectives are to calculate the catenary and rail voltages with the loop equation. When there are more than one train in the AC electric railroad system, the principle of superposition applies and the only difference between the system analyses for one train. Filially, this paper shows the general equation of an AC electric railroad system, and that equation has no relation with trains number, trains position, and feeding distance.

  • The $2{\times}25kv$ AT electric power feeding method in the A.C. electric train adopts the one-phase power feeding method as the standard due to a voltage phase difference, and the distance between the two neighboring substations is 50km due to voltage drop. The one-phase power feeding method makes the system operation feasible, while making it unfavorable for power supply. Moreover, railroad involves large-capacity single-phase load, and if it is expected to continue to rise, it is necessary to research on measures to stabilize the supply of power to railroad cars with the existing facilities. In this study, a parallel power feeding method between neighboring substations is proposed to stabilize the supply of electric power to electric railroad cars under the 2*25kv AT power feeding method and the loop current induced by voltage phase difference between the two neighboring substations during parallel power feeding is investigated.

  • To investigate characteristics and micro-explosion of single-droplets of emulsified fuel, water is mixed with diesel oil by using ultrasonic energy fuel feeding system. The fuel characteristics is analysed through H-NMR spectrum and micro-explosion phenomena of the emulsified fuel is also investigated. The life times of droplets of conventional diesel fuel, ultrasonic energy added diesel fuel and emulsified fuel we obtained additionally. According to this study, the micro-explosion phenomena of single-droplets happen in atmospheric pressure condition, a curve form of emulsified fuel's life tim is different from diesel fuel's one and the change of chemical structures is a cause of ultrasonic-energy-added diesel fuel effect.

  • High speed railway is under construction from Seoul to Pusan. A traveling train is large single phase load that consumes 14MW power in feeding system of high speed railroad. In this paper, measurement scheme and method of power system harmonics which are generated from those loads in railroad supply system are described. This measurement scheme will be used as a first step to pave a way to power quality management due to harmonic distortion by the highspeed rail way.

연속성장법에 의한 Mn-Zn Ferrite 단결정 성장 (Manganese Zinc Ferrite Singel Crystal Growth by Continuous Crystal Growing Method)

  • The continuous growth method was developed for Mn-Zn Ferrite single crystals. It is a new process that the polycrystalline MnχZn1-χFe2O4 raw materials are supplied continuously from the powder feeding system to the crucible heated by R.F. induction and melted in the crucible, and after the single crystals seed is attached to crucible's hole, the crystals are pulled downward with rotation. Growing the crystals by using the growth method different from the conventional Bridgman or Floating Zone method, we defined the factors having effect on the crystal growing through the pre-experiments. They are temperature distribution in the crucible, melt velocity according to its height, wettability between the crucible's bottom and melt. Therefore, Mn-Zn Ferrite single crystals were to be grown by attaining the appropriate melt height in the crucible, powder feeding rate, temperature gradient between the crucible and interface, crystal growing speed, and this method was confirmed to have possibility for single crystal growing.

  • AC 전기철도 시스템은 동적 단상부하가 빠르게 변화하고, 전철 급전변전소에서 3상 전력을 단상 전력으로 변환한다. 이것은 일반 배전 시스템과 비교해서 AC 전기철도 시스템의 전기적인 현상들이 다르다는 것을 나타낸다. AC 전기철도 열차부하의 전기적인 특성은 동적부하의 운영과 운행 스케줄, 트랙의 구배 등에 따라 연속적인 변화를 받고 있다. 이와 같은 열차부하의 운영에 따른 급전거리가 길어 전압강하, 전압 불평형 및 고조파 왜곡현상 등의 전력 품질 저하요인이 발생하게 된다. 이러한 문제점은 상위계통인 송전시스템의 안정도에 악영향을 줄뿐만 아니라, 전기철도 급전시스템의 전력품질 저하, 전기철도차량의 통신장비, 운행 및 수송량 제한에도 영향을 미치게 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 전기철도시스템의 과도상태 평가를 위해 PSCAD/EMTDC를 이용한 평가모델을 제시하고, 전압 강하에 주안점을 두어, 전기철도 급전시스템의 말단 분기점(Sectioning Post)에 정지형 무효전력 보상장치인 단상 배전 STATCOM(Single-phase Static Synchronous Compensator)을 설치하여 그 작용에 따른 전압강하 보상을 평가하였다.

Feeding and Management System to Reduce Environmental Pollution in Swine Production - Review -

  • In this manuscript, several effective feeding and management systems to reduce environmental pollution in swine production have been briefly introduced. It is logical that reducing the excretion of nutrients in manure should be the first step to reduce the environmental impact of pig production. it is evident that the excretion of nitrogen and phosphorus can be reduced when more digestible or available feedstuffs are used. Also, it is well known that proper feed processing can reduce anti nutritional factors (ANF) and improve nutrient digestibilities. Supplementation of effective feed additives can reduce excretion of nitrogen and phosphorus due to efficient feed utilization. These include enzymes (e.g., phytase), antibiotics, probiotics, organic acids and growth hormones ($\beta$-agonists and porcine somatotropin). One of the most effective ways to reduce pollutants from swine manure is to use synthetic amino acids in feed manufacturing. Many studies showed that reduction of 2 to 4% unit (U) of dietary protein with supplemental amino acid (AA) could dramatically reduce (15 to 20%) nitrogen excretion. Regarding feeding strategies, it has been recognized that phase feeding regimen could be used to reduce nitrogen and phosphorous excretion by feeding pigs in better agreement with age and physiological state. Feeding barrows and gilts separately, known as split sex feeding, can also decrease excretion of nitrogen and phosphorus. With the increasing concerns on the negative impact of animal production systems on the environment, animal nutritionists and producers should be aware that sustainability of animal agriculture is as important as high production performance. Therefore, some feeding and management strategies described in this manuscript will help to reduce environmental pollution in swine production. Proper combination of feeding regimen and environment-friendly diet formulation through nutritional approach will be more effective to reduce nutrient excretion in swine production system compared to single approach to do so.

A Novel IPT System Based on Dual Coupled Primary Tracks for High Power Applications

  • Generally, a single phase H-bridge converter feeding a single primary track is employed in conventional inductive power transfer systems. However, these systems may not be suitable for some high power applications due to the constraints of the semiconductor switches and the cost. To resolve this problem, a novel dual coupled primary tracks IPT system consisting of two high frequency resonant inverters feeding the tracks is presented in this paper. The primary tracks are wound around an E-shape ferrite core in parallel which enhances the magnetic flux around the tracks. The mutual inductance of the coupled tracks is utilized to achieve adjustable power sharing between the inverters by configuring the additional resonant capacitors. The total transfer power can be continuously regulated by altering the pulse width of the inverters' output voltage with the phase shift control approach. In addition, the system's efficiency and the control strategy are provided to analyze the characteristic of the proposed IPT system. An experimental setup with total power of 1.4kW is employed to verify the proposed system under power ratios of 1:1 and 1:2 with a transfer efficiency up to 88.7%. The results verify the performance of the proposed system.

철도급전시스템의 고조파 평가를 위한 확률론적 방법 (Probabilistic Method for The Harmonic Analysis of Railroad Feeding System)

  • The harmonic currents generated along with the operating speed of electrical railroad traction are very difficult to analyze because of its nonlinear characteristics. This paper therefore presents probabilistic approach for the evaluation of harmonic currents about the operating speed of the arbitrary single traction. To use probabilistic method for railroad system, PDF(Probability Density Function) using measuring data based on the realistic h 따 monic currents per operating speed is calculated. Measuring data of harmonic current per operating speed is obtained using the result data of PSCAD/EMTDC dynamic simulation based on an IAT(Intra Airport Transit) in Incheon International Airport. The means(expected values) and variances of harmonic currents of single traction also are obtained by the PDF of the operating traction speed and harmonic currents. The uncertainty of harmonic currents can be calculated through the mean and variance of PDF. The probability of harmonic currents generated with the operating of arbitrary many tractions is calculated by the convolution of functions. The harmonics of different number of tractions are systematically investigated to assess the TDD(Total Demand Distortion) for the railroad system. The calculation of TDD was carried out using Monte-Carlo Simulations(MSCs) and the results of TDD evaluation of the power quality in the IAT power feeding system.

연속성장법에 의한 Silicon 단결정 연속성장 (Silicon Single Crystal Growth by Continuous Crystal Growth Method)

  • 연속성장법은 crystal growth chamber의 상부에 있는 reservoir에서 원료 분말을 연속적으로 공급하면서 도가니 하부에 용융대를 형성시킨 후, 종자결정을 용융대에 dipping하여 회전시키면서 아래로 끌어내려 단결정을 성장시키는 방법이다. 본 연구에서는 연속 성장법을 이용하여 silicon 단결정을 육성시켰으며 연속성장에 영향을 미치는 인자는 critical melt level, 원료공급속도, 성장속도, graphite crucible과 gruphite susceptor의 형태, work coil의 위치에 따른 graphite susceptor의 수직온도구배, 중력과 종자결정의 회전에 의한 원심력이 용융대의 안정화에 미치는 영향과 용융액 표면에서 일어나는 소결현상에 관해 고찰하였다.
