  • SBC(Single Board Computer) is being developed for MSC(Multi-Spectral Camera) on KOMPSAT-2(Korea Multi-Purpose Satellite). SBC controls all the units of MSC system and gets commands and sends telemetry to and from spacecraft bus via 1553 communication channel. Due to the fact that SBC does very important roles for MSC system operation and SBC operates with 100% duty cycle, SBC is designed to have high reliability. SBC which has Intel 80486 as a main processor includes eight serial communication channels, one mil-std-1553 interface channel and several discrete interfaces. SBC incorporates 2Mbyte radiation hardened SRAM(Static Random Access Memory) and 1Mbyte flash memory. There are also PIC(Programmable Interrupt Controller), counter, WDT(Watch Dog Timer) in the SBC. In this paper, the design result of the SBC is presented.

  • Power can be generated from either renewable or non-renewable sources. Renewable sources are liked to maintain a strategic distance from contamination emanation and rely on upon fossil energizes which is decreasing day by day. The proposed sun powered vitality transformation unit comprises of a sun oriented exhibit, Bidirectional DC-DC converter, single stage inverter and AC. The inverter changes over DC control from the PV board into AC power and offered it to the heap which is associated with the lattice. The photovoltaic sun powered vitality (PV) is the most direct approach to change over sunlight based radiation into power and depends on the photovoltaic impact. The most extreme power point following of the PV yield for all daylight conditions is a key to keep the yield control per unit cost low for fruitful PV applications. The Design of a Fault Tolerant Store Management System

  • Based on the dual hardware and software with distributed recovery blocks, the centralized type fault tolerant store management system(SMS) was proposed. As a result of trade off study related to mutiplex hardware system design, dual single board computer(SBC) was adapted. To verify redundancy function of the proposed structure, the prototype SMS and weapon simulator were used. The proposed SMS operated normally without being affected by a primary SBC failure. The switching time from primary SBC to shadow SBC was within 200 ms. The reliability of the proposed SMS was predicted and compared with the non fault tolerant SMS, thereby it was proved that the proposed SMS has a higher reliability than the non fault tolerant system within effective range.

  • 본 논문에서는 1인용 스마트 전동휠체어의 보다 안전한 주행을 위한 지능형 통합 제어보드의 기능 개선 솔루션을 제안한다. 기존 국내 외의 전동휠체어 제품의 경우 안전 관련 기능 또는 장치가 포함되지 않은 경우가 많기 때문에 노약자 및 장애인이 지속적으로 증가하는 추세를 보이는 현 상황에서 전동휠체어가 관련된 사고의 발생 빈도 또한 지속적인 증가추이를 보이고 있다. 하지만 현재 상용되는 제품들에는 중고가형 이상의 전동휠체어에만 기본적인 완충작용 장치가 설치되어 있는 한계로 저가형의 제품에도 안전관련 기능이 필요한 실정이다. 따라서, 스마트 제어 플랫폼의 개발을 통해 전동휠체어 이동 중 사용자가 감지하지 못하는 장애물 또는 지형변화를 자동으로 감지 및 전동휠체어의 모터를 자동으로 제어함으로써 사용자가 안정적인 주행을 할 수 있도록 다양한 전동휠체어에 적용 가능한 스마트 전동휠체어 통합제어보드를 제시한다.

  • This paper describes the whole development phase for the underwater vehicle actuating system with high hydroload torque disturbance. This includes requirement analysis, system modeling, control algorithm design, real time implementation, test and performance evaluations. As for driving control algorithms, fuzzy logic, variable structure and PD(Proportional-Differential) algorithm were designed and implemented on board controller using a single chip microprocessor. Intel 8797. And test and performance evaluation is carried out both single test and wystem integration test. We could confirm the basic performance of actuating system through the single test and gereral developing work of any actuating systems was finished with a single performance test of actuating system without system integration test. But, we suggested that system integration test be needed. System integration test is carried out using G/C HILS(Guidance and Control Hardware-In-the -Loop Simulation) which is constituted flight motion simulator, load simulator, real time host computer and the related subsystems such as inertial navigation system, power supply system and Guidance and Control Computer etc.. The most important practical contribution of this paper is that full system characteristics such as minimal control effort, enhancement of guidance and autopilot performance by the actuating system using G/C HILS technique are investigated. Through full running G/C HILS, in spite of the passing to single tests, some control algorithm resulted in failure as to stability of full system and system time frame.

  • HMM을 이용한 알고리즘은 대용량 음성인식 시스템을 비롯하여 많은 시스템에 적용되어 왔다. 음성인식 시스템을 범용의 프로세서들을 가지고 구현할 경우 많은 계산량과 데이터들로 말미암아 실시간의 성능을 얻을 수 없다. 따라서 실시간 음성인식을 위해서는 인식을 가속화 시키기 위한 전용 하드웨어를 개발하는 것이 요구되어진다. 본 논문에서는 HMM을 이용한 격리단어 인식 시스템을 구현하는 내용을 다루고 있다. 음성인식 시스템은 호스트 컴퓨터와 DSP 보드 그리고 프로토타입 Viterbi scoring 보드로 이루어져 있다. 음성신호로부터 특징 벡터를 추출하는 과정은 DSP 보드에서 이루어지고, Viterbi scoring 보드는 세 개의 field-programmable gate array 칩들을 사용하여 설계되었다. Viterbi scoring 보드는 하드웨어적으로 효율적인 Viterbi scoring 구조를 채택하고 있고 음성인식을 위한 Viterbi 알고리즘을 수행한다. 제작된 시스템은 10MHz로 동작하고, 한 프레임 즉 10ms 동안에 100.000 스테이트를 처리할 수 있다.

  • This paper describes about the behavior of the Striped mullet (Mugil cephalus) in the setnet by telemetry techniques. The telemetry system consists of a pinger of 50KHz, three omni-directional hydrophones and ultrasonic receivers, a single board computer for the signal processing, two RF transceivers for the data comunication and a personnel computer. The fish tagged the pinger was tracked by the LBL method, and its location was calculated by the hyperbolic method. The fish escaped from sea surface to 7m deep right after release and had been swum near the sea surface after 30 minutes being released. Also, in horizontal movements, the fish stayed long time around the enterance of the square net in setnet, and showed the escaping behavior repeatly. The average speed of the fish was about 0.41m/sec(1.1 times of the body length)

  • This paper describes about the behavior of the lseraeli carp (Cyprinus cartio. body length 43cm) and the Red seabream (Chrysophrys major. body length 35cm) aquacultured by telemetry techniques. The telemetry system consists of a pinger of 50kHz, three omni-directional hydrophones and ultrasonic receivers, a single board computer for the signal processing, two RF transceivers for the data communication, and a personnel computer. Those fish tagged the pingers were tracked by the LBL method, and its location was calculated by the hyperbolic method. The average speed of the lsraeli carp was about 1.0 times of the body length in a farming water tank (24$\times$24$\times$1m), and the Red seabream 1.3 times of the body length in a farming raft (10$\times$10$\times$5m). A variation of the speed of the lsraeli carp was higher than the other one.

  • The hardware and the software of the prototype telemtry system to monitor the behavior of the fish are designed. This system consistes of five parts I. e. three omni-directional hydrophones, three ultrasonic receivers, a single board computer for the signal processing, two RF transceivers for the data communication, and a personnel computer. The sensitivty of the hydrophones is -170dB(re 1V/$\mu$Pa), the gain and the 3dB receiving bandwidth of the ultrasonic receivers are 115dB and 1500Hz respectively, and the sampling period is 33.3$\mu$sec in the signal processing part. The positioning error of the system using hyperbolic method is estimated to be less than 0.2m in case that the pinger locates inside of the baselines. The perfomance of the system considering a practical use was examined by numerical simulation and a water tank test of a pinger tracking experiment. In results, the system developed in prototype was confirmed that it could be useful for monitoring the behavior of fish in the limited water area.
