Ultrasonic measurement is one of important technologies in the lift-time maintenance of nuclear poler plant. Ultrasonic inspection system is consisted of the operator, equipment and procedure. The reliability of ultrasonic inspection system is affected by its ability. The performance demonstration round robin was conducted to quantify the capability of ultrasonic inspection for in-service. The small number of teams who employed procedures that met or exceeded ASME Sec. XI Code requirements detected the piping of nuclear power plant with various cracks to evaluate the capability of detection and sizing. In this paper, the statistical reliability assessment of ultrasonic nondestructive inspection data using Monte Carlo simulation is presented. The results of the probability of detection (POD) analysis using Monte Carlo simulation are compared to these of logistic probability model. In these results, Monte Carlo simulation was found to be very useful to the reliability assessment f3r the small hit/miss data sets.
This paper deals with the manipulator with actuator described by equation D over bar(q) $q^{...}$ = u-p over bar (q, $q^{.}$, $q^{..}$) with a control input u. We imploy a simple method of control design which bas two stages. First, a global linearization is performed to yield a decoupled controllable linear system. Then a controller is designed for this linear system. We provide a rigorous analysis Of the effect of uncertain dynamics, which we study using robustness results In time domain based on a Lyapunav equation and the total stability theorem. I)sing this approach we simulate the performance of controller about a robotic manipulator with actuator.tor.r.
We investigate an image recovery method for sparse-view computed tomography (CT) using an iterative shrinkage algorithm based on a second-order approach. The two-step iterative shrinkage-thresholding (TwIST) algorithm including a total variation regularization technique is elucidated to be more robust than other first-order methods; it enables a perfect restoration of an original image even if given only a few projection views of a parallel-beam geometry. We find that the incoherency of a projection system matrix in CT geometry sufficiently satisfies the exact reconstruction principle even when the matrix itself has a large condition number. Image reconstruction from fan-beam CT can be well carried out, but the retrieval performance is very low when compared to a parallel-beam geometry. This is considered to be due to the matrix complexity of the projection geometry. We also evaluate the image retrieval performance of the TwIST algorithm -sing measured projection data.
It is a quite quality concerning to control temperature of single crystalline growth as it does when you get most of heat treating products. It is also important factor to control temperature when you make the $Al_{2}O_3$(single crystalline) used to artificial jewels. glass of watches. heat resistant transparent glasses. Thus. it is a major interest to get the proper temperature in accordance with the time process while you are making mixture of oxygen and hydrogen to have the right temperature. In this paper. we will study of electrical valve positioning system for the gas mixture to improve the quality of products.
The purpose of this study is to propose a role as healing music through Hoesimgok's interaction. The song "Hoesimgok (悔心曲, 回心曲, Regretting Song)" means a song that expresses regret. There's nothing more desperate than my parents in a song of regret. Your heart for your late parents must be the thing you regret the most. We always think that we should be filial to my parents, but we can't. We are under a lot of stress due to situations and environments that are unintentionally not filial. Audiences who show self-reflection on their filial piety become emotional identities with those who sing with the lyrics and actions of songs and music. Therefore, Hoesimgok is a song and a prayer. Music exerts a range of powerful biological effects beyond nice sound and furthermore, it is expanding to music therapy. It can also bring about peace of mind by regulating sympathetic nervous system excitation. Our results suggest that Hoesimgok can have the effect of making listeners as well as singers happy.

In difference with the rotary type electrical machinery, the single-sided linear induction motor(SLIM) that generates the direct thrust, is widely used for the operation system of electrified railroad, lope-less elevation system, conveyer system, and so on. The operational principle of single-sided linear induction motor is constructively similar to the general rotary Induction motor It Is difficult to realize the complicate linear induction motor which is applied space vector pulse width modulation(SVPWM) system, but widely used in vector motor control system or servo control system because of its high performance in current control. In this paper, we has modeled the dynamic characteristic analyzing methode, and calculated efficiently the end effect by using equivalent circuit methode in the operating linear Induction motor control system.

This paper presents a capacitive power transfer (CPT) system using a Class-E resonant inverter. A Class-E resonant inverter is chosen because of its ability to perform DC-to-AC inversion efficiently while significantly reducing switching losses. The proposed CPT system consists of an efficient Class-E resonant inverter and capacitive coupling formed by two flat rectangular transmitter and receiver plates. To understand CPT behavior, we study the effects of various coupling distances on output power performance. The proposed design is verified through lab experiments with a nominal operating frequency of 1 MHz and 0.25 mm coupling gap. An efficiency of 96.3% is achieved. A simple frequency tracking unit is also proposed to tune the operating frequency in response to changes in the coupling gap. With this resonant frequency tracking unit, the efficiency of the proposed CPT system can be maintained within 96.3%-91% for the coupling gap range of 0.25-2 mm.

Due to the variety of household electric devices and different power consumption habits of consumers at present, general home energy management (HEM) systems suffer from the lack of dynamic identification of various household appliances and a unidirectional information display. This study presented a set of intelligent interconnection network systems for electric appliances, which can measure the power consumption of household appliances through a current sensing device based on OSGi platform. The system establishes the characteristics and categories of related electric appliances, and searches the corresponding cluster data and eliminates noise for recognition functionality and error detection mechanism of electric appliances by applying the clustering algorithm. The system also integrates household appliance control network services so as to control them according to users' power consumption plans or through mobile devices, thus realizing a bidirectional monitoring service. When the system detects an abnormal operating state, it can automatically shut off electric appliances to avoid accidents. In practical tests, the system reached a recognition rate of 95%, and could successfully control general household appliances through the ZigBee network.
A ground-based, C-band full polarimetric mobile Scatterometer system has been developed in Malaysia with collaboration between Malaysian Centre for Remote Sensing (MACRES) and Multimedia University (MMU). The main purpose of this system is to measure and monitor backscattering coefficient, ${\sigma }^0$, for earth terrain such as paddy fields, forest and soil surfaces. This paper describes the preliminary results on radar backscatter measurement from paddy field using the mobile C-band Scatterometer system. The measurement campaign was conducted at Sungai Burung area in April 2003. Real time data were collected using four polarization modes (HH, HV, VV and VH), at various incidence angles ranging from 0$^0$ to 60$^0$. The measurement data show consistent results as compared to other reports, which verify the capability of this Scatterometer system as a useful tool for remote sensing.

Enhancing the performance of computing systems has been an important topic since the invention of computers. The leading-edge technologies of multicore and virtualization dramatically influence the development of current IT systems. We study performance attributes of response time (RT), throughput, efficiency, and scalability of a virtualized Web system running on a multicore server. We build virtual machines (VMs) for a Web application, and use distributed stress tests to measure RTs and throughputs under varied combinations of virtual cores (VCs) and VM instances. Their gains, efficiencies and scalabilities are also computed and compared. Our experimental and analytic results indicate: 1) A system can perform and scale much better by adopting multiple single-VC VMs than by single multiple-VC VM. 2) The system capacity gain is proportional to the number of VM instances run, but not proportional to the number of VCs allocated in a VM. 3) A system with more VMs or VCs has higher physical CPU utilization, but lower vCPU utilization. 4) The maximum throughput gain is less than VM or VC gain. 5) Per-core computing efficiency does not correlate to the quality of VCs or VMs employed. The outcomes can provide valuable guidelines for selecting instance types provided by public Cloud providers and load balancing planning for Web systems.
