  • This paper shows the design of operational flight program(OFP) using model-based design(MBD) method which is used in various engineering fields to reduce time and flight risks for development. The verification of OFP for DO-178C guidelines carry out by a model advisor function of simulink. The flight control logic on simulink is converted into C-language by auto code generation tool from, then it is implemented on 32bit digital signal processor(DSP). The verifications of flight control algorithm on various weather conditions are performed by the HILS system with Flight simulator program, X-plane.

  • For the purpose of development of anti-jamming GPS receiver we have developed an anti-jamming algorithm and its Simulink implementation model. The algorithm used here is a form of Space-Time Adaptive Processing (STAP) filter which is well known as an effective way to remove wideband jamming signals. We have chosen Minimum Variance Distortionless Response (MVDR) block-adaptive beamforming algorithm for our development since it can provide relatively fast convergence speed to reach optimal weights, stable and high suppression capability on various types of jamming signals. We will show modeling results for this MVDR type adaptive beamformer and some simulation results. We also show the integrity of the demodulated satellite signals and the accuracy of resulting navigation solutions after anti-jamming operation.

  • This paper includes a study on the performance analysis of SDINS by a simulator using Matlab/Simulink. The performance model is considered gravity and Coriolis force, and a barometer is included to damp down diversity of a perpendicular axis error. Using the simulator, the performance included gyro sensor errors was analyzed in various maneuvering patterns. Also, the performance is virtually presented for the variation of error parameters of gyro and accelerometer under GUI.

  • In this paper, we present a way that can implement the vector control Algorithm of induction motor and PWM signal generation on the basis of Matlab Simulink environment. The overall system model is designed by Simulink toolbox for vector control of induction motor, and then implement experiment with the DS1103 board of dSPACE. Although we are not coding the system, it is capable of doing simulation and experiment simultaneously. That is why Matlab and dSPACE board compiler can generate the '*.c' and '*.obj' files on the designed system automatically. After considering about hardware structure and driving system in Ds1103 board we verify the availability of Proposed method through in a comparison/analysis between simulation and experiment.

  • In the present study, preliminary design and performance analysis for a jet pump, which is able to transfer fuel from the tank to the engine, were performed as an aerospace component technology development project. The jet pump is a core part, which is normally installed in the fuel tank, to supply the fuel from the tank to the engine feed pump, or to transfer the feed between tanks. In order to design preliminarily installed in the jet pump, equations for design were modelled using SIMULINK, and the design was carried out based on the simulation model.

  • This paper introduces the development of a toolbox for the Space Shuttle Main Engine(SSME) based on MATLAB/Simulink. A mathematical model of rocket engine creation and validation can be a complex process, the development of a rocket engine toolbox simplifies this process, thereby facilitating engine performance optimization as well as new design development. The mathematical modeling of the SSME dealt with in this paper is formed by 32 first-order differential equations derived from seven governing equations. We develop the toolbox for the SSME classifying each module according to the engine components. Further, we confirm the validity of the toolbox by comparing the results of the simulation obtained using the toolbox with those obtained using the original simulation of the engine.

  • In this paper, basic backgrounds about capsule endoscopy are introduced, and the aims and objectives are also illustrated. Methodology and mathematical model for LuGre model were investigated to analyse system characteristics. A nonlinear friction model, the stick-slip motion system based on LuGre friction model was used to simulate the motion of capsule endoscopy inside human body. Under the different situation, LuGre friction model was simulated by Matlab Simulink software. The entire cycle of motion and the influence of parameters towards to velocity are fully simulated.

  • The paper presents a modeling of the grid-connected wind turbine generation system on MATLAB/Simulink and aims to perform simulations for analysis of the system's characteristics. It performs a pitch regulation for control of the wind generator's output with respect to wind speed variation, and presents a relationship between interconnecting transformer's connections and fault current by reviewing the variations of fault current according to transformer connections in a grid-connected wind power generation system. It also investigates the effect of grounding methods of the interconnecting transformer's neutral point on fault current variations. The simulation results show the differences of fault currents, voltages and generator's characteristics for a line-to-ground fault according to interconnecting transformer's four different connections, and the differences of fault currents of the system according to grounding methods of the transformer neutral point. Therefore, the case studies demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed simulation model on Simulink.
