Stability Analysis of Railway Vehicle Featuring MR Damper (MR댐퍼를 적용한 철도차량의 안정성 해석)

  • This paper presents vibration control performances and stability evaluations of railway vehicle featuring controllable magnetorheological(MR) damper. The MR damper model is developed and then incorporated with the governing equations of motion of the railway vehicle which includes vehicle body, bogie and wheel-set. A cylindrical type of MR damper is devised and its damping force is evaluated by considering fluid viscosity and MR effect Design parameters are determined to achieve desired damping force level applicable to real railway vehicle. Subsequently, computer simulation of vibration control and stability analysis is performed using Matlab Simulink.

  • Output voltage waves of a DC/AC inverter system are likely to be distorted if variable loads e.g. motors or rectifiers exist in the output terminal. This paper designs a disturbance observer-based PI controller for a single-phase inverter system that is robust against load changes. In this paper, we regard the output voltage changes due to various loads as disturbances of the control system, Then we design a disturbance observer for estimation of the disturbances caused by the load current and any other error sources (such as parameter uncertainties and model mismatches etc.). In order to test the performance of the proposed control law, simulation studies are carried out for a single-phase inverter system using SimPowerSystems of Matlab Simulink. Compared to a simple PI control, the disturbance observer-based controller shows enhanced performance in transient responses for step load changes.

  • In this paper, it employs IPMSM sensorless methods about current model and Extend-EMF methods. By using a MATLAB/Simulink program, it presents sensorless method in relation No high frequency voltage and replaces current based sensorless method. This IPMSM motor is drived by MTPA and Flux weakening controls for adjusting a actual motor application. In order to improving stability of IPMSM sensorless control, method about Sensorless estimation change is suggested by this paper.

  • Train dynamics affects significantly safe and efficient operation of a train, especially during traction or braking period. Train dynamics is intrinsically complex due to many DOF motions in a three-dimensional space, and its behavior during the braking stage is too complex to understand and design an effective braking logic of the train. In this paper, we present a two-dimensional model with three DOF motion in a longitudinal, vertical, and pitch direction for the Hanvit 200 tilting train, which is efficient to analyze a braking performance. Furthermore, we analyze the braking logic and simulate the braking process of the Hanvit 200 tilting train using Simulink.

  • The Line-Of-Sight stabilization system is designed to minimize the error of Line-Of-Sight under the disturbing circumstances. In order to control this system more accurately and reduce the level of the disturbance, adding an isolator is mostly considered. However, it is difficult to predict the exact the behavior of the isolator and the effect of a stabilization Error. Therefore, the simulation model of the control system using co-simulation with Adams and matlab simulink is presented and the effects of the isolation properties are reviewed.

  • This paper presents the rotor parameter identification based on the MRAS theory and the speed estimation using ANN for the sensorless vector control of induction motor. The motor speed is estimated using ANN model which contains the rotor parameter. And the rotor parameter is identified using MRAS scheme which contains the rotor speed. The rotor speed estimate converges to its actual value as the rotor parameter error converges toward the zero. The simulation using Matlab/Simulink is performed to show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

  • In this paper, on the subject of a speed control wind turbine, the type of wind speed reference decision between conventional MPPT tracking speed control and MPPT with LPF(Low Pass Filter) speed control algorithm are introduced and its performances are compared using a model based on MATLAB Simulink, and to get more realistic output data, the stored wind data as its wind speed input from 30kW wind power system in Buan, Haechang is used.

  • This paper aims is to study the effect of photovoltaic generation penetration and STATCOM on the transient stability of a single machine infinite bus (SMIB) system based on the rotor angle stability. The influence of STATCOM and PV penetration can be seen through damping oscillations, so that the generator remains stable with the rest of the system for various fault conditions. The simulation results obtained make it possible to efficient identify harmful and beneficial impact of increasing the PV penetration and the existence of STATCOM capability. The system model is created in MATLAB/ SIMULINK software.

  • 본 논문에서는 모델 기반 적응제어 방식중 하나인 확장 칼만 필터(EKF: Extended Kalman Filter)를 사용하여 전기자전거용 배터리팩의 충전량(SOC: State of Charge)을 상온과 저온에서 추정하였다. 온도에 따라 배터리의 특성은 매우 가변적이며, 모델의 특성이 달라짐에 따라 적응제어를 위한 내부 파라미터 또한 상이하게 나타난다. 본 논문에서는 Matlab/Simulink를 이용하여 배터리와 확장 칼만 필터를 설계하고 시뮬레이션하였다. 온도에 따른 최적의 SOC 추정 성능을 얻기 위해, 오차 원인을 분석하고 이에 따른 개선된 SOC 추정 결과를 나타냈다.
