6G network technology represents the next generation of communications, supporting high-speed connectivity, ultra-low latency, and integration with cutting-edge technologies, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), virtual reality, and autonomous vehicles. These advancements promise to drive transformative changes in digital society. However, as technology progresses, the demand for efficient data transmission and energy management between smart devices and network equipment also intensifies. A significant challenge within 6G networks is the optimization of interactions between satellites and smart devices. This study addresses this issue by introducing a new game theory-based technique aimed at minimizing system-wide energy consumption and latency. The proposed technique reduces the processing load on smart devices and optimizes the offloading decision ratio to effectively utilize the resources of Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed technique achieves a 30% reduction in energy consumption and a 40% improvement in latency compared to existing methods, thereby significantly enhancing performance.
Most of the man-made systems can be modeled as a hybrid system which consists of both the high-level and the low-level component model. High level model is responsible for decision-making and the low-level one takes control of the mechanical component parts. Since the two models requires different interpretation method according to their type, analysis of a hybrid system becomes a difficult job. For the Analysis of the high-level model, methods for discrete event system models such as FSM can be used. On the contrary, numerical analysis techniques are required for the low-level continuous-time system model. Since it becomes a difficult thing for a modeller specifies and develops both the two-level models altogether, we propose an efficient hybrid simulation method which employs a game physics engine that has been widely and successfully used in the area of game industry.

In this paper, we propose a new expert system for close combat in military war game model for training. Simulation logic for damage assesment is one of the main simulation functions in military war game. In Changcho 21's model which is the war game model for Republic of Korea Army corps and division, the main function of close combat's damage assessment has not been calculated by Changcho 21's model, but by COBRA which was made by US Army and has been the expert system for close combat. Results which were calculated in COBRA were sent to Changcho 21's model through a cable network. And Changcho 21's model finally calculated the value of damage assessment with the results. In this paper, we develop an new expert system for close combat using decision tree. The experimental results show that the proposed expert system has similar performance to COBRA and has less computing complexity. And it can substitute for COBRA and be applicable to battlefield.

Tsunami is a frightful natural disaster that causes severe damages worldwide. To minimize the damage, South Korea has built a tsunami warning system and designated evacuation sites in the east and south coasts. However, such countermeasures have not been verified whether they are adequate to minimize casualties since tsunami rarely occurs in South Korea. Recently, due to increasing earthquakes in the west coast of Japan, the likelihood of South Korea entering the damage area of tsunami rises; thus, in this paper, we develops a simulator based on Unity game engine to simulate the evacuation from tsunami. In order to increase the fidelity of the simulation results, the simulator applies a tsunami simulation model that analyzes coastal inundation based on cellular automata. In addition, the objects included in tsunami evacuation, such as humans, are modeled as an agent model that determines the situation and acts itself, based on the discrete-event system specification (DEVS), a mathematical formalism for describing a discrete event system. The tsunami simulation model and agent models are integrated and visualized in the simulator using Unity game engine. As an example of the use of this simulator, we verify the existing tsunami evacuation site in Gwangalli Beach in Busan and suggest the optimal alternative site minimizing casualties.

This study has the purpose to increase the suitability for the introduction and operation of the curriculum utilizing business simulation games from university education. So we investigated about the usage in management education department of domestic and foreign universities, institutions target for enterprise level education, and giant companies such as Samsung and LG. We surveyed about the demand of it from college students at the management and engineering departments and then designed two basic course models. As research methods, literature research, on-site experts and operators interview on domestic enterprises and institutions of representative companies was conducted. We analysed the course syllabi of some domestic and about 50 foreign universities utilizing it with the literature review. Then we analysed the result of usage investigation and demand survey. According to the results, the relatively small number of universities and corporate institutions compared to U.S. were utilizing it for their training courses in short-term and partial Lab. Results are expected to be used in the training courses of business administration in universities and corporate.
In order to evaluate the performance of priority queues for future event list in discrete-event simulations, models representing patterns of enqueue and dequeue processes are required. The time complexities of diverse priority queue implementations can be compared using the performance models. This study aims at developing such performance models especially under the environment that a developed simulation model is used repeatedly for a long period. The developed performance model is based on multi-stage Markov process models; probabilistic patterns of enqueue and dequeue are considered by incorporating non-homogeneous transition probability. All necessary parameters in this performance model would be estimated by analyzing a results obtained by executing the simulation model. A case study with a war game simulation model shows how the parameters defined in muti-stage Markov process models are estimated.

Horseback riding, shooting, golf and other sports that make up the visuals, the background graphics in the game is an important factor influencing the outcome. But they need to play directly from the site is limited, and sports simulation games and the realistic representation of real-time operation since the fall of the background. In this paper, to overcome the limitations in the field for the game by converting pictures 3d graphic modeling. z-depth by using a special technique for expressing the perspective of the analysis of the sport and VR (virtual reality) simulation to study the background to the development. In this study, background realistic VR implementation of sport Journal of Sports Science and will contribute to the development.
As the complexity of a 3D game is increased by various factors of the game scenario, it has a problem for controlling the interrelation of the game objects. Therefore, a game system has a necessity of the coordination of the responses of the game objects. Also, it is necessary to control the behaviors of animations of the game objects in terms of the game scenario. To produce realistic game simulations, a system has to include a structure for designing the interactions among the game objects. This paper presents a method that designs the dynamic control mechanism for the interaction of the game objects in the game scenario. For the method, we suggest a game agent system as a framework that is based on intelligent agents who can make decisions using specific rules. Game agent systems are used in order to manage environment data, to simulate the game objects, to control interactions among game objects, and to support visual authoring interface that ran define a various interrelations of the game objects. These techniques can process the autonomy level of the game objects and the associated collision avoidance method, etc. Also, it is possible to make the coherent decision-making ability of the game objects about a change of the scene. In this paper, the rule-based behavior control was designed to guide the simulation of the game objects. The rules are pre-defined by the user using visual interface for designing their interaction. The Agent State Decision Network, which is composed of the visual elements, is able to pass the information and infers the current state of the game objects. All of such methods can monitor and check a variation of motion state between game objects in real time. Finally, we present a validation of the control method together with a simple case-study example. In this paper, we design and implement the supervised classification systems for high resolution satellite images. The systems support various interfaces and statistical data of training samples so that we can select the most effective training data. In addition, the efficient extension of new classification algorithms and satellite image formats are applied easily through the modularized systems. The classifiers are considered the characteristics of spectral bands from the selected training data. They provide various supervised classification algorithms which include Parallelepiped, Minimum distance, Mahalanobis distance, Maximum likelihood and Fuzzy theory. We used IKONOS images for the input and verified the systems for the classification of high resolution satellite images.

Virtual world and simulation need large scale map rendering. However, rendering too many vertices is a computationally complex and time-consuming process. Some game development companies have developed 3D LOD objects for high-speed rendering based on distance between camera and 3D object. Terrain physics simulation researchers need a way to recognize the original object shape from 3D LOD objects. In this paper, we proposed simply automatic LOD framework using point cloud data (PCD). This PCD was created using a 6-direct orthographic ray. Various experiments are performed to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method. We hope the proposed automatic LOD generation framework can play an important role in game development and terrain physic simulation.

This paper aims to formulate the method of estimating the wartime stockpile requirement of 155mm self-propelled artillery including intelligent ammunition for armored vehicles, currently being developed. The usual method of utilizing war-game simulation results in considerable margins in expected occupancy ratio between ground forces and air forces for each weapon system for armored vehicles. Also, the method tends to produce excessive output greater than the minimal stockpile requirements; therefore, the study aims to overcome limitations like these by the allocation method for each weapon system according to targets. This allocation method is better than war-game simulation method.
