통계적 기계학습 기술을 이용한 시뮬레이션 결과 예측 시스템 개발 (Development of a Simulation Prediction System Using Statistical Machine Learning Techniques)

  • 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션은 전산유쳬역학, 나노 물리, 계산화학, 구조 동역학, 전산설계 등 여러 계산과학공학 분야에서 시스템의 움직임을 예측하기 위해 널리 사용되고 있다. 하지만 시뮬레이션의 정밀도와 복잡도가 점점 증가함에 따라 시뮬레이션을 수행하는 비용 역시 크게 증가하고 있다. 따라서 시뮬레이션의 수행비용을 줄이는 것은 특히 입력 변수들의 값을 변화시켜가며 시뮬레이션을 반복적으로 수행하는 경우, 시뮬레이션 수행 시간 단축을 위해 매우 중요하다. 본 논문은 어떤 시뮬레이션의 수행이 요청되었을 때, 해당 시뮬레이션을 실제로 수행하지 않고도 기존에 수행된 시뮬레이션의 결과를 저장하여 이전에 획득되거나 혹은 예측된 결과를 반환하는 시스템을 개발한다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서 개발된 시스템은 크게 다음 2가지 기능을 제공한다: (1) 수행이 완료된 시뮬레이션의 결과를 데이터베이스에 저장하는 기능, (2) 사용자가 요청한 시뮬레이션의 결과를 통계적 기계학습 기술을 사용하여 예측하는 기능. 본 논문에서 개발한 예측 시스템의 예측 성능을 실제 유체역학 시뮬레이션 데이터를 사용하여 평가한 결과, 출력변수에 따라 0.9%의 매우 낮은 평균 예측 오차율을 보였다. 본 논문에서 개발한 시스템을 통하여 사용자들은 계산 및 저장 자원에 큰 부하를 주는 시뮬레이션을 실제 수행하지 않고도, 수행을 원하는 시뮬레이션의 결과를 빠르게 예측해 볼 수 있다.

  • An efficient 3-axis NC milling simulator is presented. The geometric simulation of milling is based on z-map structure and voxels. For the graphic simulation,dimetric projection is adopted. As a result, two faces of a voxel are exposed and they are overlapped. Visible faces are determined by using z-butter method. The simulation system is developed in IBM-PC compatible with satisfactory result.

  • Computer aided simulation is becoming an essential part in planning, design, and operation of railway systems. To determine the adequate performance and specification of railway system, it is necessary to calculate rotting stock's performance such as distance, speed, power etc when train's running. This paper presents result of train performance simulation using the program that developed in advance for Korea high speed train. To verify result of simulation, we have compared that with experiment data.

  • This paper presents a simulation method with constant power model for the train load. In power system simulation loads could be modeled as a constant power, constant current, constant Impedance or a function of voltage and frequency. At this time, however, representing a train load as the function is difficult because of the lack of data. Therefore as a first step, simulation method with a constant power model fer a train is studied, and the test result is compared with the simulation result using the constant Impedance model.

Miller 사이클을 이용한 중형 디젤 기관 성능 개선 (Improving the performance of a Medium Speed Diesel Engine Using Miller Cycle)

  • Miller cycle was studied and analyzed by engine performance simulation to achieve very low fuel consumption and to meet the IMO NOx regulation on a medium speed diesel engine. Based on the performance simulation results the intake valve closing time for HYUNDAI HiMSEN 6H21/32 engine was set at 0deg.ABDC(After Bottom Dead Center). Also, the simulation results indicated that significant NOx reduction could be achieved with low reduction of fuel consumption. The performance simulation investigated the effect of compression ratio and turbocharger on fuel consumption and NOx concentration in combination with Miller cycle. The results indicated a significant reduction of fuel consumption with keeping NOx concentration. The results of performance simulation were compared with measured data to verify simulation results. The comparison showed the maximum error was 2.34% in exhaust temperature. Also, the experimental result showed that improvement in BSFC(Brake Specific Fuel Consumption) was 5.8g/kwh with keeping NOx level similar to simulation result.

  • 본 연구는 시뮬레이션을 진행하면서 그 결과를 실시간으로 시각화하는 경우에 파이프라이닝 병렬처리 기법을 적용하여 성능을 개선할 수 있음을 보인다. 일반적으로 실시간 시각화를 포함한 시뮬레이션에서는 모델을 실행하는 프로세스와, 시뮬레이션 결과를 시각화 도구로 전송하는 프로세스, 결과를 받아서 시각화 하는 3개의 프로세스가 있다. 만약 이 프로세스들을 직렬화해서 실행하면 전체 실행시간이 매우 길어져서 시각화의 성능이 저하될 수밖에 없다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 직렬 방식 대신에 파이프라이닝 병렬처리 기법을 적용하여 성능을 개선하고자 한다. 추가적으로 각 프로세스에 다중 스레드 기능을 더하여 더 큰 성능의 개선이 있음을 보인다. 이를 위해 본 논문은 제안된 기법에 대한 이론적 성능모델을 세우고 최대, 최소 성능 향상 조건을 이론적으로 해석하였으며 모의실험하였다. 이 이론을 바탕으로 실시간으로 시각화하는 실시간 공중전 시뮬레이션에 적용한 결과 기존의 직렬화된 실행 성능보다 제안된 이론을 적용한 후의 실행 성능이 크게 향상되었음을 보였다.

  • Recently as the rapid increasing of the elderly, silver housing has grown up. Though much fire evacuation and safety law, fire accident is most dangerous problem in our society. So this study is the purpose to analyze evacuation safety in urban silver housing of floor planning by corridor types using human behavior simulation. The methodology of this study is 'Literature Review' and 'Simulation'. This study has been carried out on silver housing's definition, types, fire safety theory and relation law. To proof evacuation safety, this study measured escaping time, longest distance, and bottleneck counting using human behavior simulation. This study use game engine simulation program to analyze 6 corridor types experimental model. As the result of simulation, this study compare between ASET and simulation result. The result come down to 3 part. First, double loaded corridor type is the most dangerous on urban silver housing. Second, Safe shelter's location and number cause increasing of escaping time. Lastly escaping time is influenced by behavior of agent, bottle neck strike frequency.

  • Bulkiness and complexity of a ship structure make it impossible to examine the process of shipbuilding with a prototype in advance. The simulation provides a possibility that the shipbuilding process can be checked and optimized in the virtual world. The realization of the simulated result in the real world gives the higher quality and productivity in shipbuilding. For the effective simulation, the shipbuilding process was analyzed on the viewpoint of the object-oriented methodology and modeled by using the UML. The implementation of simulation was done with the excellent simulation tools, CATIA and DELMIA. The result of this research showed the way to the optimization of process and the improvement of productivity in shipbuilding.

  • Conceptual Modeling is the process of abstracting a model from a real or proposed system. It is probably the most important aspect of a simulation study. Relate works show that the elementary developers devoted little time to understanding how the systems actually worked, namely they didn't build appropriate conceptual model. Thus, the result of simulation is inconsistent because it depends on developer's competence. Although many researchers suggested various techniques enabling developer to build conceptual model, there were several limitations. In this study, to overcome the limitations of existing techniques, we proposed COMBINE-DES (COnceptual Model BuildINg framEwork using ontology for Discrete Event Simulation). The COM-BINE-DES supports expediting the conceptual modeling with Solution ontology generated by Domain ontology and Simulation ontology. Moreover, it provides consistent simulation result regardless of repeated modeling.

모의비행훈련장치 제도 개선방안 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of the Flight Simulation Training Device System)

  • As the domestic aviation industry develops, demand for pilots is increasing. As a result, the demand for flight training using flight simulation training devices that implement the same or similar interior of aircraft is also increasing. Despite this increase in demand, domestic laws, regulations and management systems related to flight simulation training devices have remained unchanged since 2009. As a result, the criteria for designation of new or developed flight simulation training devices are ambiguous. In addition, proper improvement of the current system should be prioritized for designation of new devices such as UAM and VR, along with developing flight simulation training devices. It is intended to present measures to improve the domestic flight simulation training system by investigating and analyzing advanced cases overseas.
