시뮬레이션을 활용한 확률 지식의 교수학적 변환 (Using Simulation for a Didactic Transposition of Probability)

  • 확률 교육과 관련된 선행 연구들은 시뮬레이션을 통해 확률 오개념을 극복할 수 있으며 확률 모델링 능력을 향상시킬 수 있다고 밝힌 바 있다. 그러나 확률 오개념 극복과 확률 모델링 능력 향상을 목적으로 학교 교육과정에 시뮬레이션을 도입하고자 할 때, 확률 지식을 가르칠 지식으로 재구성하는 방식에 대한 구체적이고 종합적인 연구는 이루어지지 않았다. 이 연구에서는 확률 오개념 극복 교수학적 상황과 확률 모델링 교수학적 상황 구성에 필요한 교수학적 의도와 세부적인 설정 계획을 국소적 수업 이론과 가설 학습 경로의 형태로 구체화하였다.

표준화 환자 시뮬레이션 실습교육기반의 간호교육에서 사전브리핑을 활용한 팀 기반 학습 효과 (The effects of Pre-briefing Team-based Learning in Standardized Patients Simulation)

  • 시뮬레이션 실습교육은 임상현장 적응력을 높이는 교육방법으로 간호교육에 활용하고 있으나 새로운 교수법에 대한 부담과 예측할 수 없는 상황에 대응하면서 불안과 소극적인 실습참여는 실습만족도에 부정적인 영향을 주게 된다. 본 연구는 사전브리핑을 활용한 팀 기반 학습을 적용하여 간호대학생의 자기효능감, 시뮬레이션 실습만족도와 임상수행 능력에 미치는 효과를 확인하기 위한 비동등성 대조군 전·후 유사실험연구이다. 자료수집은 P 대학교 간호학과 4학년 72명으로, 연구기간은 2019년 10월 14일부터 11월 15일까지이다. 연구결과 사전브리핑을 활용한 팀 기반 학습을 적용한 실험군은 자기효능감과 시뮬레이션 실습만족도 및 임상수행능력이 대조군보다 높게 나타났다. 이에 팀 기반 학습을 사전브리핑 과정에 적용하는 것이 시뮬레이션 실습교육에 중요한 학습전략이 될 수 있음을 확인하였고, 다양한 시뮬레이션 상황에 확대 적용 및 사전브리핑 단계를 표준화하여 효과성을 확인하는 후속연구를 제언한다.

  • Recently, the military need more various education and training because of the increasing necessity of various operation. But the education and training of the military has the various difficulties such as the limitations of time, space and finance etc. In order to overcome the difficulties, the military use Defense Modeling and Simulation(DM&S). Although the participants in training has the empirical knowledge from education and training based on the simulation, the empirical knowledge is not shared because of particular characteristics of military such as security and the change of official. This situation obstructs the improving effectiveness of education and training. The purpose of this research is the systematizing and analysing the empirical knowledge using text mining and network analysis to assist the sharing of empirical knowledge. For analysing texts or documents as the empirical knowledge, we select the text mining and network analysis. We expect our research will improve the effectiveness of education and training based on simulation of DM&S.

IT융합교육 사례: 가상현실에 기반한 가구배치 시뮬레이션 (A Case of IT Confusion Education: Simulation for Furniture Placement based on Virtual Reality)

  • 가상현실은 프로그래밍, 시뮬레이션, 컴퓨터 그래픽스 등 다양한 학문의 종합체이며 이러한 형태의 새로운 문화적 패러다임의 등장은 우리에게 새로운 개념의 콘텐츠 개발 방법과 정보교류방식을 요구하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 3D 가상현실 기술을 이용하여 I-Bench Mobile 이라는 새로운 장비를 통해 사용자와 인터렉티브가 가능한 가구배치 시뮬레이션을 제안한다. 이것은 3D로 제작이 되며 물리 및 중력을 적용한다는 점에 강점을 두며, 또한 스냅샷 기능을 통해 고객들이 가구를 자신이 원하는 장소에 배치하여 궁극적으로 고객 만족도 향상을 목표로 하고 있다. 가상증강현실기술을 이용한 소프트웨어를 개발하는 본 연구 과정은 공학계열의 컴퓨터학과와 예술계열의 영상 예술 디자인학과, 시각 디자인 학과와 같은 다양한 학과들에서 다루는 교육과정의 작업이 필요하므로 단지 코딩 기술이 아닌 여러 학문의 기술들이 함께 어우러진 융합 IT기술 교육의 좋은 사례라고 할 수 있다.

Development of a user-friendly training software for pharmacokinetic concepts and models

  • Although there are many commercially available training software programs for pharmacokinetics, they lack flexibility and convenience. In this study, we develop simulation software to facilitate pharmacokinetics education. General formulas for time courses of drug concentrations after single and multiple dosing were used to build source code that allows users to simulate situations tailored to their learning objectives. A mathematical relationship for a 1-compartment model was implemented in the form of differential equations. The concept of population pharmacokinetics was also taken into consideration for further applications. The source code was written using R. For the convenience of users, two types of software were developed: a web-based simulator and a standalone-type application. The application was built in the JAVA language. We used the JAVA/R Interface library and the 'eval()' method from JAVA for the R/JAVA interface. The final product has an input window that includes fields for parameter values, dosing regimen, and population pharmacokinetics options. When a simulation is performed, the resulting drug concentration time course is shown in the output window. The simulation results are obtained within 1 minute even if the population pharmacokinetics option is selected and many parameters are considered, and the user can therefore quickly learn a variety of situations. Such software is an excellent candidate for development as an open tool intended for wide use in Korea. Pharmacokinetics experts will be able to use this tool to teach various audiences, including undergraduates.

시뮬레이션에서의 간호대학생의 임상적 판단 기술 분석: Tanner의 Clinical Judgment Model을 적용하여 (Nursing Students' Clinical Judgment Skills in Simulation: Using Tanner's Clinical Judgment Model)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the nursing students' clinical judgment skills in simulation using Tanner's Clinical Judgment Model. Method: Forty-five teams of a total 93 nursing students participated in a post-operative patient care scenario using human patient simulator. Data were collected from students' responses in scenario and guided reflective journaling according to the framework of Tanner's model which comprised noticing, interpreting, responding, and reflecting on response. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Results: The students' responses of the situation were in accordance with the goals of scenario, i.e. relieving patient' pain and preventing pulmonary complications. However, most of students needed clinical cues and focused on a given clue to solve the issues. They were lack of ability to collect additional information as well as connect the relevant clues in simulated clinical situation. Conclusion: The nursing students have difficulty in what they notice, how they interpret finding, and respond appropriately to the situation. The simulation training using Tanner's model could provide faculty and nursing students with an effective teaching and learning strategy to develop the clinical judgment skills.

  • As the industry environment is changing to automated systems, engineering education at university has changed with industrial development. Industry technology will be developed, and the industry environment will become more complicated. Therefore, the knowledge that undergraduates have to acquire in university will be extensive. Industries need a person with expertise to react quickly to rapidly changing technology. Therefore, universities need to endeavor to cultivate manpower in technical fields. This is difficult because the contents of engineering education must react quickly to rapidly changing industry technology. This paper proposes a hardware-linked simulation platform for engineering education on the well-used systems in industrial sites.

분만간호 핵심술기에 대한 시뮬레이션 실습교육의 효과 (Effects of Simulation-based Practice Education for Core Skill of Maternity Nursing)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of maternity nursing education-knowledge, skills and attitude among the third year students who have completed maternity nursing, practice at the college, clinical practice and core skill practicum. Methods: This is the descriptive research to verify the effectiveness of simulation-based practice education for core skill of maternity nursing. Third year nursing students who have completed maternity nursing related theories and practice have been selected as population. Total of 202 surveys have been used for analysis. Data analysis is done by using SPSS/WIN 18.0. Results: Self-confidence of core skill in maternity nursing is experimental group 4.52 and control group 4.37 score (p<.05). Performance competence in childbirth care is experimental group 4.53 and control group 4.35 score (p<.05). The students who have maternity nursing related clinical practice and core skill practicum experience show high core skill evaluation score. Conclusion: Therefore, it is recommended that current maternity nursing core skill curriculum should be reviewed and improved, and the students should be provided variety of simulation techniques to gain essential knowledge and core nursing skills.

학교 환경교육을 위한 하천 수질 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 프로그램 SimRiver의 활용 (Trial of Educational Computer Simulation Software 'SimRiver' for Assessment of River Water Quality for Environmental Education in Schools)

  • SimRiver, computer simulation software for assessment of river water quality is an educational simulation software created for studying the relationship between human activity and river environment using epilithic diatom communities, The SimRiver program was applied to total seventy eight teachers of elementary, middle and high schools in Korea, and the teachers' reactions were analyzed with the questionnaire survey. Total 79.2% of the teachers estimated the possibility of SimRiver to be applied as a educational material in lessons is high. Especially total 93.6% of the teachers answered that they will use SimRiver in their lessons. The results of the questionnaire survey indicate that SimRiver is an interesting and easy simulator of alternative field exercise for students to understand the relationship between human activity and quality of river water.

간호 시뮬레이션 교육에서의 심리적 안전(psychological safety)에 관한 개념분석 (Psychological Safety in Nursing Simulation Education: A Concept Analysis)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호 시뮬레이션 교육에 있어 심리적 안전 개념의 명확한 속성을 규명하고 파악하여 다양한 시뮬레이션 교육에서 간호학생의 심리적 안전을 향상시킬 수 있는 교육환경 조성에 기여하고자 함이다. Walker와 Avant (2010)의 개념분석 단계를 사용하여 15개의 심리적 안전과 관련된 문헌을 선정하여 분석하였다. 간호 시뮬레이션 교육에서 심리적 안전의 속성으로는 다음 4가지가 도출되었다: 1) 편안한 느낌이나 상태; 2) 두려움 없이 행동할 수 있는 상태; 3) 조직에 대하여 신뢰할 수 있는 느낌; 그리고 4) 자신에게 무해하다는 느낌. 본 연구를 통하여 밝혀진 선행요인, 속성, 결과 등을 고려하여 심리적 안전을 보장하도록 하는 학습환경을 조성한다면 시뮬레이션 교육의 학습효과를 극대화할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
