The purpose of this study was to identify make-up benefits sought and attitudes according to the fashion lifestyle of silver women. Self-administered questionnaire was used for data collection, and subjects were silver women aged over 55 years. The results were as followed: 1. The factors of fashion lifestyle of silver women were clothing ostentation, leisure activity, interest in appearance, self-confidence, clothing conservation, and economics in clothing, and total variances was 70.99%. Silver women were clustered into high fashion-involvement group, medium fashion-involvement group, low fashion-involvement group, and fashion retard group according to fashion lifestyle. 2. High fashion-involvement group included more silver women with higher education and incomes, but fashion retard group included more with lower education and income. 3. High fashion-involvement group pursued self satisfaction, complement of defects, fashion trend following, politeness to others highly through make-up, and had higher concern and knowledge about make-up, and accepted plastic surgery or skin care positively. But fashion retard group pursued only a little and showed negative attitudes toward plastic surgery or skin care.

우리나라는 세계에서 유례를 찾아보기 어려운 빠른 속도로 저출산과 더불어 고령화가 진행되어 가고 있다. 인구구조도 피라미드형 구조였으나, 최근에는 역피라미드형 구조가 되어감에 따라 생산인구 문제를 열악하게 만드는 요인으로 작용하고 있다. 노인 일자리사업은 이러한 산업구조 역행의 일부를 대체하는 측면도 있지만, 노인의 경제적 측면과 신체적 측면 그리고 사회통합의 측면에서도 효과적인 지원체계가 마련되어져야 한다.

우리 나라는 고령화 사회로 접어들었고 그에 이어 초 고령화 사회가 예상되는 가운데, 실버 세대를 위한 체계적이고 실질적인 의료 환경이 요구 되고 있다. 독거노인과 거동이 불편한 노인들을 위하여 USN을 활용한 노인 건강관리 시스템(U-SilverCare)의 필요성이 급증하고 있다. 본 논문은 가속도 센서(Accelerometer Sensor), 혈중 산소포화도 센서 (POximeter Sensor), 심장박동센서(EKG Sensor)를 이용하여 실생활에서 일어날 수 있는 상황을 4가지로 구성, 실버 세대를 위한 U-SilverCare 응급상황 통보 시스템 시나리오를 구현하였다.

Since our country is rapidly progressing from an aging society to an advanced age society, it already puts in effect basic old-age pension system, hurries training human resources like care-giver, and has ahead offering the aged long-term care insurance. But our country still needs to develop a systematic curriculum in order to train professionals that can fundamentally deal with an aging society problems. In this paper, therefore, we describe the development of a curriculum for training silver-care professionals improving qualities of old person life in order to suit to an aged society and prepare for an advanced age society. It includes a network model of a silver-care curriculum based on subject classifications according to fields and levels.

Purpose: The objectives of this study were to define basic data for developing silver services related to goods, medical care, finance, leisure and residence. Method: In this cross-sectional study, the subjects were 792 pre-elderly and 382 elderly. The data were collected 2005 by using a structured questionnaire from Aug. 19 to Sep. 5. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics on the SPSS version 12.0 for windows. Result: The pre-elderly had the intention to use massage chair(36.6%), homecare service(29.8%), national pension(35.9%), sports(48.5%) and personal house(59.5%) in the ares of silver goods, medical care, finance, leisure and residence, respectively. The elderly wanted sphygmomanometer(38.7%), homecare service(27.7%), pocket money from their offspring (40.5%), sports(33.5%), and personal house(74.8%). They wanted manpower in the area of reforming of living place, leisure time and education, counseling of silver goods, and management of finance. Conclusion: Based on this study findings, the pre-elderly are thoroughly established for their future than the elderly. It is important to upgrade the silver services and to prepare the manpower for the pre-elderly and the elderly in the future of the aging society.

노인장기요양보험 체계의 캐어매니지먼트 발달 배경과 제도적 문제점을 파악하여 이에 근거한 활성화 방안을 모색하였다. 기존의 케어매니지먼트는 선진국의 대인 서비스 기관에서 널리 보급되고 있는 사회복지실천의 분야이다. 특히 캐어매니지먼트 활성화를 위해 기존의 케어 대상자들이 양질의 서비스를 받을 수 있도록 케어매니저의 종합적인 지원체계와 교육훈련 및 업무에 관한 제도적 조항이 설정되어야 한다.

Increasing the number of the solitude old person maintain a healthy lifestyle, the research for the emergency detection and life monitoring is required. In this paper, the wireless sensor network technology is utilized to design a silver-care service model in the area of emergency silver generation activities. The service model proposed in this paper acquired by using mobile devices to access silver-care service with the network information obtained through video monitoring and sensing. Also, Proposed model, based on wide-area network connected with the best wireless network of the PDA and mobile phones for the solitude old person.

The proportion of the aged people is rapidly increasing toward the 21st century. This change will cause serious problems in the area of daily activities, preservation of health, medical care and physical rehabilitatiion for the aged. for the solution of these problems this paper suggest a new type of robot for the aged man, called a silver robot. This paper presents a concept of silver robot and it's feasibility study.

Purpose: In this study consumers' preference for housing for elderly people was analyzed as well as the recognition by elders of silver town facilities, and their preference for service provided by silver town. The study was done to provide basic data for the development of silver town facilities that are low in cost and high in efficiency. Methods: A sample research was used in this study to analyze the understanding of old age, silver town, and service preference. Results: First, interest and intention to live in silver town was very positive, however low cost was also preferred and that is quite different to current silver towns of Korea. Second, women have more understanding of, requests for, and intention to move into silver town facilities than men. Women's demands for silver town facilities must be reflected in the development strategy of silver towns. Third, the most important part of activating silver town facilities is price strategy. Government political support is required in order to keep silver town move-in costs affordable. Fourth, silver towns must function as total service complex towns. Conclusion: This study is meaningful as efficient operation of silver town is suggested rather than facility degradation to achieve price reduction. This result is important to the development of silver towns based on consumer preference, as it suggests a development direction that is focused on securing differentiated services and programs.
