60대 노년 여성의 체간부 체형분류 (A Study on Torso Shape Classification of Women in 60s)

  • The study has an objective of providing the basic data for the bodice basic pattern that is highly appropriate after classifying the torso shapes of women in 60s. In order to classify the torso shape, 200 women in 60s that reside in Seoul were investigated for 52 tests. The factor analysis produced total of 6 factors. Factor 1 tended to be posture of upper part of torso and shape of shoulder. Factor 2 was an element of silhouette and Factor 3 was vertical size of lower part of torso and side silhouette. Factor 4 showed to be width and thickness of torso, Factor 5 was shape of neck, and Factor 6 appeared to be sagging of belly and buttocks. Therefore, it can be known that posture, silhouette, shape of neck and shoulder, sagging of belly and buttocks, and etc. are important factors for classification of the torso shape of women in 60s. Through a cluster analysis, each torso shape was classified into 4 types and each type showed information on size, shape, and posture clearly. Type 1 showed percentage of 24.2%, and values of height and weight showed to be average. Also, the body shape hardly had any curve with high shoulder at the Posture of upper body, and they had saggy stomach and buttocks. 43.5% of them were involved in Type 2 and they were short and overweighted. They were comparatively large in width compared to the height with no curves. Type 2 had the largest percentage and this can be said to be the special shape of women in 60s. People of Type 3 were short and overweighted just like Type 2 and all the sizes were similar to those of Type 2 or bigger. The posture is right posture and 21.7% fall into this type and there is no body curve. This type is the shortest and most overweighted type, and it is a torso shape with right posture just like Type 4. Type 4 is a torso shape with tallest height and least weight. The percentage was the smallest(10.6%) and the width was smaller than any other type but the height was the tallest. The body curve is very clear and they have thin body but big buttocks so it can be said that the people of this type have the best silhouette. Type 2 that had the highest percentile is short and overweighted so it can be said that Type 2 is the representative torso shape of women in 60s.

여아의 원피스 드레스 디테일 선호도 - 만 3~6세를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Detail Preference of Girls One-piece Dress - Focus on 3 to 6 Years Old -)

  • This study was to investigate the preference tendency by detail and material preference of summer one-piece dresses for the children, and evaluation standard of children's wear in purchasing one-piece dresses as an object of mothers who have girls as buying representatives of children's wear in order to supply real information of design about the one-piece dresses for the girls in accordance with the consumers' demands. The results of this study revealed that the one-piece dress was favorite one to them in purchasing their summer wear. This study showed tendency that the more the mother's fashion interest was, the more the mother's preference on the one-piece dress was. As to the material preference of one-piece dress, it preferred the natural fiber to the synthetic fiber much, and the preferred customer order in purchasing one-piece dresses for their children was analyzed as activity, material, design collar, and pattern. As to the preference by form factor of one-piece dress, it preferred A-line silhouette in the silhouette, natural waist in the waist position, 5~7cm from the knee in the length of one-piece dress, and flared skirt in shape of skirt. The preference on the collar type was soutien collar, and the preference on the neckline type was round neckline. In addition, the preference on sleeve form was shirtsleeve, and the preference on trimming was lace trimming.

20~50대 여성의 연령 및 실루엣에 따른 신체만족도와 의복적합성 (Body Satisfaction and Fitness Apparel Depending on Age and Silhouette in Women 20~50 Years of Age)

  • This study investigates the body satisfaction and fitness apparel depending on age and silhouette. The subjects were 254 females 20~50 years of age living in Chungju South Korea. There are various body types in women over the age of 35, the lower part of the body-development type, regular type, the upper part of the body-development type, and the rectangular body type. In addition, there is a lower satisfaction level in circumferences related with apparel fit, especially in the sleeve length, armhole, and crotch length. Therefore, a size system is needed that considers various body types in ready-to-wear clothing for middle-aged women. Design, color, and pattern are most important in clothing purchases by unmarried women, but the ease of laundry management and price discounts are the most significant for clothing purchases by married women. The upper part of the body-development type is unsatisfactory in the size-fit of sleeve length and shoulder width, but the lower part of the body-development type is unsatisfactory in the circumference of the waist, hip, abdominal, girth of skirt, and crotch length. The rectangular body type and the lower part of the body-development type are unsatisfactory in movement comfort, especially in hip girth and crotch length. The upper part of the body-development type is unsatisfactory in the movement comfort of the chest and elbow girth.

마이크로어레이 유전자 발현 자료에 대한 군집 방법 비교 (Comparison of clustering methods of microarray gene expression data)

  • 군집분석은 마이크로어레이 발현자료에서 유전자 혹은 표본들의 유사한 특성을 갖는 연관구조를 조사하는데 중요한 도구이다. 본 논문에서는 마이크로어레이 자료에서 계층적 군집방법, K-평균법, PAM (partitioning around medoids), SOM (self-organizing maps) 그리고 모형기반 군집방법 들의 성능을 3가지 군집 타당성 측도인 내적 측도, 안정적 측도 그리고 생물학적 측도를 가지고 비교분석하고자 한다. 모의실험을 통해 생성된 자료와 실제 SRBCT (small round blue cell tumor) 자료를 가지고 여러 가지 군집방법들의 성능을 비교하였으며 그 결과 모의실험 자료에서는 거의 모든 방법들이 3가지 군집측도에서 원래 자료와 일치하는 좋은 군집 결과를 나타내었고 SRBCT 자료에서는 모의실험 자료처럼 명확한 군집화 결과를 보여주지는 않으나 내적측도의 실루엣 너비 (Silhouette width) 관점에서는 PAM 방법, SOM, 모형기반 군집방법 그리고 생물학적 측도에서는 PAM 방법과 모형기반 군집방법이 모의실험 결과와 비슷한 결과를 얻었고 안정적 측도에서 모형기반 군집방법이 다른 방법들보다 좋은 군집결과를 보여주었다.

  • Gait is defined as "a manor of walking". It can used as a biometric measure to recognize known persons. Gait is an idiosyncratic feature determined by an individual's weight, stride length, and posture combined with characteristic motion. but its feature extracted from images varies with the viewpoint. In this paper, we propose a gait recognition method using a planer homography, which is robust for viewpoint variation. We represent an individual as key-silhouettes. And we endow key-silhouettes with weight calculated using the characteristic of PCA. Experimental result shows that proposed method is robust for viewpoint variation as images synthesised same viewpoint.

Subjectivity study on the type of wearing brassiere in female college students -focused Q methods-

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the attitude and wearing effect of brassiere wearing in 20's female college students. Particularly, by exploring the necessity of wearing a brassiere, the research was carried out to make it possible to use it effectively in the development of brassiere for women in their early 20s. In early 20s, the type of wearing brassiere in female college students was analyzed as three types: function-importance type, inconvenience-accept type, and wearing inconvenient type. Function-importance type, the brassiere corrects the silhouette of the upper body, has a push-up effect that collects the breast, and it was thought that it would not allow the nipple point to fall. By wearing a brassiere, there is a lift-up effect that reduces the vibration of the breast due to movement and raises the bust. Inconvenience-accept type wears a brassiere so that the breast volume can be improved and the nipple point is not visible. And they strongly agreed that the brassiere would wrap my breasts well and calibrate the upper body silhouette to make my body look pretty. However, they felt that their bust was troubled when they wore it, and they thought that their brassiere would be out of order due to their movements, so they had to wear brassiere for beauty, but they were uncomfortable. The wearing inconvenient type was analyzed as a type that the cup part was lifted, the sweat was not absorbed, and the heat was uncomfortable. It is thought that it is necessary to develop an effective brassiere for the function of raising and collecting breasts based on the body shape of women in their early 20s.

정확한 돌출 형상의 표현을 위한 변위매핑 (Displacement Mapping for the Precise Representation of Protrusion)

  • 물체의 표면에 돌출된 형상을 실시간으로 표현하는 변위매핑 방법에 대하여 설명한다. 기존의 이미지 기반 변위매핑 방법이 기준면에서 함몰된 형상만을 표현할 수 있는 것과 달리, 기준면에서 수직방향으로 돌출된 높이를 표현하여, 표면에서 돌출된 형상의 상세를 실시간으로 표현한다. 또한 폴리곤의 경계부분에서 시점에 따라 수직인 두 개의 면을 추가하여, 기준면의 경계 외부로 초과하는 픽셀의 변위를 표현하였다. 이로써 경계부분의 돌출 형상에 대한 정확한 외곽선을 표현할 수 있다. 제안된 방법은 부드러운 돌출 형상의 표현과 더불어 돌출 형상의 급격한 경사면에 텍스처 정보를 추가하여, 수직 돌출 형상을 포함한 급격한 경사면을 표현할 수 있다. 이 방법은 GPU에서 수행 가능한 픽셀 단위 계산으로 이루어져 실시간으로 가시화가 가능하며, 경계부위의 정확한 외곽선의 표현과 급격한 돌출 형상의 표현이 가능하여, 건물과 같이 기준면에서 돌출된 형상의 상세 표현에 사용된다.

Party-wear Consumers' Information Sources and Clothing Evaluative Criteria

  • The volume of the party wear market is gradually growing in the Korean fashion market. The study attempted to examine psychological clothing benefits as the criteria for market segmentation, and identify differences in information sources. and clothing evaluative criteria in each segmentated market. The summary of the key findings are as follows. Three segments were identified by psychological clothing benefits: pleasurably self-expressing group, fashion-seeking group, and indifferent group. The differences in search information sources between the classified groups were identified The fashion-seeking group had a higher mean score on mass media. The pleasurably self-expressing group had higher scores on advice from friends, colleagues, or companions. The differences in evaluative criteria between the classified groups were also identified. Among the evaluative criteria, the splendid boldness and polished silhouette criteria showed a marginal difference between each group. This study can contribute as a cornerstone for future studies on party wear and market strategies.

k-평균 군집화 기법을 활용한 SNS의 부적절한 광고성 콘텐츠 탐지 (Detection of inappropriate advertising content on SNS using k-means clustering technique)

  • 오늘날 SNS를 사용하는 사람들이 증가함에 따라, 생성되는 데이터도 많아지고 종류도 매우 다양해졌다. 하지만 유익한 정보만 존재하는 것이 아니라, 부정적, 반사회적, 사행성 등의 부적절한 콘텐츠가 공존한다. 때문에 사용자에 따라 적절한 콘텐츠를 필터링 할 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 SNS Instagram을 대상으로 콘텐츠의 해시태그를 수집하여 데이터화 했다. 또한 k-평균 군집화 기법을 적용하여, 유사한 특성의 콘텐츠들을 군집화하고, 각 군집은 실루엣 계수(Silhouette Coefficient)와 키워드 다양성(Keyword Diversity)을 계산하여 콘텐츠의 적절성을 판단하였다.

  • In this paper, we propose a new 3D object retrieval system using the shape information of 2D silhouette images. 2D images at different view points are derived from a 3D model and linked to the model. Shape feature of 2D image is extracted by a region-based descriptor. In the experiment, we compare the results of the proposed system with those of the system using curvature scale space(CSS) to show the efficiency of our system.
