활성/비활성 상태에서의 종단과 입력 임피던스 변화를 이용한 전송선로의 전달함수 추정 (Estimation for the Transfer Function of Transmission Line using the Temination and Input Impedances at Activated/Deactivated states)

  • 이 논문은 전송선로의 진폭과 위상응답을 선로의 입력측에서 추정하는 방법에 대해서 논의하고 협대역 ISDN 가입자 선로의 경우에 적용한 것이다. 활성과 비활성 상태의 표준 단말 임피던스와 선로의 입력측에서 추정할 수 있는 입력 임피던스로부터 선로의 ABCD 파라메터를 구할 수 있는 계산식을 유도한다. 입력 임피던스함수 추정을 위해 "chirp" 신호를 입자 전압신호로 사용하며, 이때 잡음의 영향은 앙상블 평균을 취하여 감소 시킨다. 이러한 ABCD 파라메터 추정 방법은 균일선로와 복합선로에 동일하게 적용될 수 있으며, 추정된 결과로부터 진폭 및 위상응답을 구할 수 있다. 협대역 ISDN 가입자 선로의 모델을 결정하여 모의실험한 결과를 제시하며 단말 임피던스의 편차에 의한 추정오차를 분석하였다.

  • 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스에 대한 요구가 증가됨에 따라, 영상을 정보전달의 수단으로 사용하기 위한 기술들이 급격히 발전하고 있다. 영상에 첨가되는 여러 가지 잡음을 제거하기 위해, 평균 필터, 메디안 필터, 가중치 필터 방법 등이 제안되었으나 기존의 방법들은 잡음제거 및 에지 보존 성능이 미흡하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 영상에 첨가되는 복합잡음을 효과적으로 제거하기 위해 먼저 잡음을 판단한 후, 변형된 메디안 필터와 적응 가중치 평균 필터를 이용하여 처리하는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 그리고 시뮬레이션을 통해 기존의 방법들과 비교하였으며 판단의 기준으로 PSNR(peak signal to noise ratio)을 사용하였다.

  • The feeder pipe of Main Primary Heat Transfer System in Wolsong Nuclear Power Plant was inspected by the Ultrasonic Phase Array technique in 2010. It is the first time to apply this method to the construction at Nuclear Power Plant in Korea. The time required for UT technique is less than RT method. The UT method doesn't need to evacuate personnel who works nearby inspecting area and doesn't need to wait developing of film. For these reasons, the UT method is the fastest method among the volumetric inspections. As a result of the examination, it became clear that main defect of the feeder pipe is the Lack of fusion in the welded area. Moreover, the rate of defect was reduced gradually as improvement of welder's skill. If welding machine has problem, the defect has tended to same pattern(occurred same position in the welding area) but these defects were founded without specific rules. For these reasons, the creation of defect is dependent on the skill of worker not on the automatic welding machine. This evaluation of defect signal and collecting data would be useful to further examination in ISI.

  • 철도의 원활한 운행을 보장하기 위하여 신호, 전철전력, 통신, 설비 등 분야별로 독립된 시스템이 구축되어 운영되고 있으나, 각각의 현장 설비가 센싱 데이터를 중앙관제로 전송하는 매체나 프로토콜이 서로 상이하다. 현재 연구개발을 진행하고 있는 실시간 철도안전 관제시스템은 분산된 안전에 관련된 데이터를 통합하여 위험을 예측하고 철도 사고를 예방하기 위한 것으로, 분산되어 있는 안전 관련 데이터를 통합하여 획득하는 것이 필수적이다. 이를 위하여 서로 상이한 매체나 다양한 프로토콜로 전송되는 정보를 기존 어플리케이션의 변경 없이 수용할 수 있는 데이터 변환이 필요하다. 본 연구에서 다양한 방식으로 전송되는 정보를 통합 관리하기 위한 데이터 변환 사례를 조사하고, 기존 방식에 전송기능을 부가하여 일체화한 XML 기반의 프로토콜 변환 방안을 제시하고, 이를 구현하고자 한다.

  • This paper is to introduce the R&D project called "Improvement of Automatic Gene-ration Control Related Systems for New Energy Management system". The principal objective of this project is to demonstrate AGC operation capabilities that are suitable to new EMS environment and to show the validity of Set-Point Control Method. A number of developments and enhancements have been made to the generator's Remote Terminal Unit in which new ASTC is being developed and installed. The so-called ACC Signal Transfer Card(ASTC) will include RTU's Set-Point Control capabilities. It is expected that over next few months both RTU & DCS software modifications will be given and a relatively new Set-Point Control Method will be chosen instead of those from more conventional method, pulse control method.

A Novel Method to Suppress Mid-Frequency Vibrations with a High Speed-Loop Gain for PMSM Control

  • PI controllers are one of the most widely used controllers in industrial control systems due to their simple algorithms and stability. The parameters Kp and Ki determine the performance of the system response. The response is expected to improve by increasing the gain of the PI controller. However, too large a gain will accelerate the speed response and cause vibrations, which is not what is expected. This paper proposes a way to suppress vibrations by detecting the vibration frequency and extracting the vibration signal as a compensation to the speed feedback. Additionally, in order to improve its disturbance rejection ability, a low-order disturbance observer is proposed. This paper also explains the operation principle of the proposed method by analyzing the transfer function and it describes the design of the controller parameters in detail. Simulation and experimental results are provided to verify the merits of the proposed method. These results also show the good performance of the proposed method. It has a rapid response and suppresses vibrations.

음성 강화를 위한 a priori SNR 추정기반 적응 바람소리 저감 방법 (An Adaptive Wind Noise Reduction Method Based on a priori SNR Estimation for Speech Eenhancement)

  • This paper focuses on a priori signal to noise ratio (SNR) estimation method for the speech enhancement. There are many researches for speech enhancement with several ambient noise cancellation methods. The method based on spectral subtraction (SS) which is widely used in noise reduction has a trade-off between the performance and the distortion of the signals. So the need of adaptive method like an estimated a priori SNR being able to making a high performance and low distortion is increasing. The decision directed (DD) approach is used to determine a priori SNR in noisy speech signals. A priori SNR is estimated by using only the magnitude components and consequently follows a posteriori SNR with one frame delay. We propose a modified a priori SNR estimator and the weighted rational transfer function for speech enhancement with wind noises. The experimental result shows the performance of our proposed estimator is better Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Quality scores (PESQ, ITU-T P.862) compare to the conventional DD approach-based systems and different noise reduction methods.

RadioCycle: Deep Dual Learning based Radio Map Estimation

  • The estimation of radio map (RM) is a fundamental and critical task for the network planning and optimization performance of mobile communication. In this paper, a RM estimation method is proposed based on a deep dual learning structure. This method can simultaneously and accurately reconstruct the urban building map (UBM) and estimate the RM of the whole cell by only part of the measured reference signal receiving power (RSRP). Our proposed method implements UBM reconstruction task and RM estimation task by constructing a dual U-Net-based structure, which is named RadioCycle. RadioCycle jointly trains two symmetric generators of the dual structure. Further, to solve the problem of interference negative transfer in generators trained jointly for two different tasks, RadioCycle introduces a dynamic weighted averaging method to dynamically balance the learning rate of these two generators in the joint training. Eventually, the experiments demonstrate that on the UBM reconstruction task, RadioCycle achieves an F1 score of 0.950, and on the RM estimation task, RadioCycle achieves a root mean square error of 0.069. Therefore, RadioCycle can estimate both the RM and the UBM in a cell with measured RSRP for only 20% of the whole cell.

실내 아파트 환경에서의 통계적 UWB 채널 모델 (A Statistical Model for the Ultra-Wide Bandwidth Indoor Apartment Channel)

  • 본 논문에서는 실제 아파트 환경에서 2000번의 주파수 응답에 의한 통계적 UWB 실내 채널 모델을 연구하였다. 측정은 서로 다른 방, 서로 다른 위치에서 이루어 졌으며, 실험 결과를 통해 채널의 전파특성을 이론적으로 설명하였다. Time-domain상에서 측정할 수 있는 channel impulse response (CIR)와 frequency-domain상에서 측정할 수 있는 channel transfer function (CTF) 측정방법을 제안하였다. 측정데이터를 통해서 CIR과 CTF를 비교하여 분석하였고, 통계적 경로손실 모델 또한 제안하였다. 신호 대역은 10MHz에서 8.010Hz까지 사용하였다. 측정결과를 통해 time-domain상에서 확인할 수 있는 maximum excess delay, mean excess delay, ms delay spread를 나타내었다. 송신기와 수신기에는 전방향의 biconical 안테나를 사용하였다. 또한 제안된 아파트 환경에서의 채널 모델은 UMB용 안테나 특성이 포함된 결과이다.

머신러닝 알고리즘 기반 반도체 자동화를 위한 이송로봇 고장진단에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Failure Diagnosis of Transfer Robot for Semiconductor Automation Based on Machine Learning Algorithm)

  • In manufacturing and semiconductor industries, transfer robots increase productivity through accurate and continuous work. Due to the nature of the semiconductor process, there are environments where humans cannot intervene to maintain internal temperature and humidity in a clean room. So, transport robots take responsibility over humans. In such an environment where the manpower of the process is cutting down, the lack of maintenance and management technology of the machine may adversely affect the production, and that's why it is necessary to develop a technology for the machine failure diagnosis system. Therefore, this paper tries to identify various causes of failure of transport robots that are widely used in semiconductor automation, and the Prognostics and Health Management (PHM) method is considered for determining and predicting the process of failures. The robot mainly fails in the driving unit due to long-term repetitive motion, and the core components of the driving unit are motors and gear reducer. A simulation drive unit was manufactured and tested around this component and then applied to 6-axis vertical multi-joint robots used in actual industrial sites. Vibration data was collected for each cause of failure of the robot, and then the collected data was processed through signal processing and frequency analysis. The processed data can determine the fault of the robot by utilizing machine learning algorithms such as SVM (Support Vector Machine) and KNN (K-Nearest Neighbor). As a result, the PHM environment was built based on machine learning algorithms using SVM and KNN, confirming that failure prediction was partially possible.
