도시철도역은 많은 이들이 사용하는 공공장소이다. 철도역을 자주 이용하면 길을 찾거나 가는 곳에 어려움이 없지만 처음 방문하는 여행객이나 외국인들은 복잡한 사인과 정보 등의 오류로 인하여 어려움을 겪는다. 본 연구는 도시철도역의 안내 사인시스템의 효과적인 정보를 제공하기 위한 도시철도역의 안내사인에 대하여 알아보고 디자인 개선하고자 한다. 본 연구를 위한 1차 조사로 도시철도역 사인시스템의 개념과 문헌에 대하여 조사하고, 2차 조사로 도시철도역 이용자의 문제점 니즈조사, 3차 조사는 안내사인 개선을 위해 부산도시철도역의 문제점과 디자인 개선에 대하여 알아보았다. 조사결과 도시철도역의 안내 사인은 늘어나는 정보량과 체계적으로 갖추어지지 않는 사인 등으로 인하여 사용자는 정보를 찾는 데 어려움이 많다. 무분별한 상업광고의 사인으로 찾고자 하는 정보를 찾지 못하고 통일되지 않는 사인계획으로 인하여 잘못된 정보를 얻기가 쉽다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 상업광고의 자제와 알기 쉽게 정보를 전달하기 위한 디자인 그리고 사회적 약자를 위한 디자인 개선이 필요하다.

본 연구는 서고 내부에서 이용자가 목표지에 보다 능률적으로 도달할 수 있도록 하기 위한 서고 Sign System의 구체적 적용에 대한 사례 및 과정을 밝히는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 S대학 중앙도서관의 서고 구조, Sign 현황, 이용자 관찰, 이용자 선호조사, 시안제작 등의 절차를 거쳐 도서관 서고 현장에 새로운 Sign을 적용하였다. 상세한 제작과정 및 이용자의 반응을 파악하고, 추후 대형 도서관 서고 Sign 제작 시 보완되어야 할 사항 등을 제언하였다.

본 연구는 수도권 도시철도역 사인시스템에 대하여 사용자가 이용하는데 어떠한 어려움이 있는지 디자인 현황 및 개선 방향에 대하여 연구 조사하였다. 연구방법으로 첫째, 도시철도 사인시스템의 문헌 이론적 고찰, 둘째, 수도권 김포골드라인의 사인 디자인 현황조사, 셋째, 사인의 사용실태, 이용자 문제점에 대하여 설문조사를 진행하였다. 조사결과 안내사인의 폰트는 위치사인은 중앙정렬로 되어져 있으며, 유도사인은 입출구 위치에 따라 앞/뒤 정렬로 되어져있다. 폰트는 이용자에게 잘 보이기 위하여 배경은 하얀색과 문자는 진한 검은색으로 제작되어져있다. 유도사인은 반대로 문자색은 하얀색과 배경색은 회색으로 제작되어져 있다. 사인에 대한 이용자 조사결과 역의 종합적인 인상에서 혼잡하지 않고 큰 불편은 없다. 그리고 유도안내사인 이용에 대하여 장애인, 외국인의 교통약자가 일반인에 비해 사인 의존도가 높다. 또한 안내사인의 부착 위치와 관련하여 적합하지 않다는 의견이 많았으며, 설계와 관련하여 적절하지 않다는 의견이 많다. 현재 김포도시철도 안내사인시스템은 새롭게 제작 설치되었지만 사용자 설계가 부족하고 이용자에게 명확하게 정보 전달 할 수 있는 디자인 정비가 필요 하다. 역내 사인시스템을 이용하는데 불편함이 없고, 안전을 확보하며 각종 위험으로부터 벗어 날 수 있는 안내 사인이 될 수 있도록 디자인 정비되어져야 할 것이다.

PURPOSES: This study is to develop a road traffic sign recognition and automatic positioning for road facility management. METHODS: In this study, we installed the GPS, IMU, DMI, camera, laser sensor on the van and surveyed the car position, fore-sight image, point cloud of traffic signs. To insert automatic position of traffic sign, the automatic traffic sign recognition S/W developed and it can log the traffic sign type and approximate position, this study suggests a methodology to transform the laser point-cloud to the map coordinate system with the 3D axis rotation algorithm. RESULTS: Result show that on a clear day, traffic sign recognition ratio is 92.98%, and on cloudy day recognition ratio is 80.58%. To insert exact traffic sign position. This study examined the point difference with the road surveying results. The result RMSE is 0.227m and average is 1.51m which is the GPS positioning error. Including these error we can insert the traffic sign position within 1.51m CONCLUSIONS: As a result of this study, we can automatically survey the traffic sign type, position data of the traffic sign position error and analysis the road safety, speed limit consistency, which can be used in traffic sign DB.

To identify the characteristics of the dropping habits and to provide improved methods for sign survey of Siberian flying squirrels Pteromys volans, an investigation was carried out in Jirisan National Park from April 2012 to May 2013. The latrines of study area were checked once a month and the characteristics of dropping behavior were camera trapped. The feces of Siberian flying squirrel were found on the point which tree forked, mostly from November to May. The squirrel actively presents in forked tree mainly on the September to April. The Siberian flying squirrel is found to be a typical nocturnal animal as it actively move between 6p.m. to 7a.m.. The study found that squirrel does feeding and dropping in the winter time on forked tree. On the point which tree forked could be a good place for the squirrel to hide from their predator when there is no leaf on the tree. Conducting the sign survey is advisable from November to May, as well as with the careful approach to the animals. As Siberian flying squirrel is an endangered species, adjusting the survey period is mandatory, especially when doing environmental impact assessment and a research on its dwelling areas.

피난과 관련된 대부분의 사인시스템은 벽의 상단부에 있다는 점에서 고개를 숙인 채 대피해야 하는 지진 상황에서 유용하지 않다. 본 연구는 지진 대피 상황의 분석과 이해를 바탕으로 신속한 지진 대피를 위한 대책으로서 사인 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 첫째, 지진 대피 상황의 동영상 분석을 바탕으로 지진 상황을 이해한다. 둘째, 지진 상황에서 안전한 대피를 돕는 사인 시스템이 가져야 할 필요요건을 도출하였다. 셋째, 현장조사를 통해 국내에 설치되어 있는 사인시스템이 지진대피 상황을 위한 피난설비로서 적절한 기능을 갖추었는지 적합성을 고찰하였다. 동영상 분석 및 현장 조사를 바탕으로 피난유도등의 설치만으로는 지진 상황에서 신속한 대피를 유도할 수 없다는 결론을 도출하였다. 본 연구에서는 피난유도등 근처에 사인시스템을 설치하여 문의 사용성을 돕는 사인시스템을 제안한다.

Since July 2007, the government has banned the use of the existing non-legal measurement units, and has forced us to use the unified legal measurement. Therefore, the existing clothing size unit also has been changed into centimeter dimensions from inches. However, consumers have been familiar to used to the traditional inches unit. So they have the confusion to directly survey the size table sign for clothing or to contact the employee when purchasing clothing. By the current size table sign the customers can compare the inches unit and centimeters unit, but they are difficult to see it. Therefore, there is necessary to improve the size table sign by the way that can be easy to be found and seen by consumers is given to the clothing corners. In this research, three improved size table signs were developed. And they were evaluated by the consumers in terms of preferences and awareness of them. Eventually, the best size table sign was selected. From this result, if the large-discount mart use the best improved size table sign on behalf of the current one, the problems of existing size table sign will overcome and improve customer satisfaction.

국립중앙도서관은 이용자의 효율적인 이용과 정보전달을 목적으로 각종 사인(sign)을 설치 운영하고 있다. 이에 이 연구에서는 국립중앙도서관의 기존 사인에 대한 현황 분석과 이용자 및 직원 대상으로 만족도 조사를 실시하였다. 이를 토대로 이용자의 효율적 도서관 이용 안내와 국립중앙도서관 사인시스템의 개선을 위한 운영방안으로 시각적 연속성의 개선, 설치 위치의 변경, 과다한 사인물의 축소, 임시 부착 사인물의 제한, 알아보기 쉬운 내용 등을 제언하였다.

Considering the present outdoor environment of city landscapes, the improvement of well-formed street landscapes is a very important issue in Korea. At this point of time, it is very meaningful to understand the sign design and the planning condition of buildings and examine various problems about this and the possibilities for improvement. Thus the purpose of this study is to accumulate basic data to establish design guideline and visual factors for the sign design for useful environment. The conclusions of this study are as follows: to understand the factors of sign designs is through survey and analysis of building condition and city landscape. Planning factors for outdoor advertising design should be developed systematically and more fit to the street environment and designers in the aspect of control and guidance.

본 논문에서는 실제 수화자의 관점에서 기존 수화 아바타의 한계와 문제점을 지적한다. 이를 해결하기 위하여 손 모양, 손 방향, 손 운동을 비롯하여 입술 움직임, 얼굴 표정, 안색, 운동자 움직임, 몸동작 등을 통해 수화를 보다 자연스럽게 표현할 수 있는 수화 아바타를 개발하였다. 또한, 데이터베이스의 성능을 높이기 위해 손의 움직임과 함께 다른 신체 요소들의 움직임을 구조적으로 같이 기술할 수 있는 하이퍼 수화 문장을 제안한다. 개발된 시스템의 우수성을 보이기 위해 실제 청각 장애인을 대상으로 설문조사를 수행하여 시스템의 사용성을 평가하였다.
